Minusy: "I was randomly selected for a second security check at the boarding gate in Zurich airport, the security staff were unfriendly, said it was a TSA requirement even though I stated I am a United States Citizen and That I have already passed through a complete security check Point, still they placed a metal & scanning detector on my feet, hands & belt. This was a complete violation of my rights. Never have I faced a humiliating situation at any other airport. If this was a TSA requirement then everyone should be subject to a second security check."

The seats were fairly comfy and there was actually room! Even when the person in front of me leaned back, my legs still didn't touch the back of the seat (I'm 5-10 with long legs). Minusy: "Boarding of the flight was delayed which impacted our arrival time in Zurich. I had a connecting flight- but so did at least 10 other Swiss flights at that time. The queues for customs were incredibly long and the only reason I made my flight was because I ran through the airport. I also had a challenging time with food. I am celiac and often cannot eat the standard fare on planes. I called in advance of my flight to notify someone of my allergy - and they told me the only way I could ensure such a meal was by purchasing a meal that cost $30. I was not willing to pay such a hefty surcharge for food because I had already payed a bit extra than budgeted because my partner had recommended the excellent service of Swiss. I have traveled on several airlines for intercontinental flights between Boston and Europe - and have always had my allergy accommodated at no extra cost. Once on the flight - I was offered an orange and banana for dinner and a small yoghurt for breakfast. I will be flying Swiss again in December and I sincerely hope they will be better equipped to provide for my dietary requirements."

They made sure I was comfortable until we landed which meant the world to me considering I was SO far away from my home. I'd like to especially acknowledge Frank, one of the attendants, who sat next to me to make sure I did not feel alone while I was sitting in the back with ice on my head, and felt like the world was spinning. He was my point of trust and warmth. That was not only extraordinary service, but human compassion at it's finest. Furthermore, the head attendant, who's name I could not get in the haze of the flight, escorted me from the plane to the cart who took me to the lounge to recover until my next flight. Thank you, Swiss Airlines, for having employees who knew how to triage my illness, and took care of me like family would. I appreciate it greatly and will surely be booking all my future European flights on Swiss. Please extend my gratitude to the flight crew on my Athens - Zurich flight on 5/28."

The entertainment system is very outdated, small screen and old and used hand set. Claiming to be a premium airline is unfortunately very overstated if you are unlucky to catch the old business class planes. Only few have changed to the new versions (777s) - Make sure to catch those."

When we checked in - they asked us to both check in our carry on luggage. The reason why is because they said they don’t think they have enough space for our carry ons. I told the crew member checking us in that other people that was checking in with the same hand carry size luggage with us had no problems taking it with them. For being about to be on a 17 HOUR FLIGHT we should be ALLOWED to have our carry ons with us! We take carry ons for that reason! I had to argue and prove my case to the crew member to atleast keep 1 carry on with us. I thought that was an UNACCEPTABLE reason for us to check in a carry on luggage when we had a 17 hour travel time ahead of us. Not a happy costumer here."

"They let us board without checking our documents. We thought we had everything but then when we got to the stockholm airport, the immigration office wouldn't let us pass and we've been stuck here, unable to leave, we've missed our connection as well. The document that was invalid was our US vaccine certificate (Moderna, double vaccinated by May 2021). The Swedish government doesn't see it as valid. So SAS should have stopped us from boarding the flight when they checked our vaccine card at the New York airport. Horrible experience."

Words were exchanged between my wife and the lady (nothing extreme, but still) in the seat in front of her. When the lady leaned her seat back, my wife could barely watch her movie. All in all, I would definitely fly SAS again."

Throughout the process there were no customer service representatives either in person or on the phone who were remotely helpful. Overall, worst travel experience of my life."

The airline did nothing to rush those of us through or contact our connecting SAS flights, and a few of us missed our connections by just a few minutes because of it. SAS did provide alternate tickets for me, but I arrived at my destination several hours late and the whole situation could have been avoided pretty easily."

The weather had improved sufficiently to make it in on the second attempt. The pilot was outstanding in his communication with the passengers and the cabin crew were great in re-assuring passengers after the missed approach. The flight crew handled the difficult weather conditions very well."

I pressed it again, a girl came and I explained I need help - to get my trolley from the overhead bin so I can take a blanket for my son, cos it was cold and he was sleeping, I couldn’t move. She asked me “Is your bag heavy?”. What kind of help is that?She after all got the bag, but I was a cabin crew, and I would never tell that to a passenger needing help with a small child. Also, no one is checking if passenger with children are ok."

Minusy: "While flying from Oslo to Reykjavik for a backpacking trip, my backpack (with my tent, cooking equipment, clothes, and food in it) was lost. As a result, I was forced to spend several nights in Reykjavik waiting for my backpack to arrive. Norwegian Air had horrible customer service when I called to inquire about my bag. They did not coordinate well and were slow to track down our bags. After they did find our bags and rerouted them to Reykjavik, they missed their flight AGAIN! What is more, they refused to guarantee any compensation. Hence, I had to pay for clothes, food, and lodging without assurance of reimbursement. I will never fly Norwegian Air again."

Minusy: "My flight was changed to a flight I could not make. I had to cancel flight to Oslo and Spent extra $500 to purchase another flight. Very unhappy."

Minusy: "They lost our bags in the transfer and did not even offer water on the flight!"

Minusy: "We had to stay on the plane because “the stairs were broken”. Once the staircase was replaced, we still had to stay on the plane for another half hour because the bus could only pick up so many people to the terminal. ORY is not a good choice of destination."

This is our second time flying Norwegian and a second disappointing flight. The first time the entire flight was cancelled and the airline failed to get us to our destination (we had to book a separate flight ourselves and seek reimbursement—still waiting for it). The savings just isn’t worth the poor customer service. Returning to Delta and American. It was a mistake to switch to Norwegian. Lesson learned."

Minusy: "- Dehydration: In a 12 hour flight, there wasn't any single drink offered outside of the meal ones. Seriously, 12 hours without bringing water to people? It's great to have higher air quality for better jet lag, but water is prime in that regard. It seems to be a recurring pattern in this flight, no water service. Of course, you can just go and walk up to them and ask for water, but chances are you will get frown at for the annoyance. - Upset staff: Another passenger was seating on my seat when I boarded and asked me to swap places so that he wouldn't have to move. I agreed, and I notified the flight attendants of the change so they knew where to take the meals. I thought I was being nice to them, but I still got rolling eyes and lost stares whenever they came for meal service and they had to revisit the situation. I don't get it."

The airline required that I check my bags (the same bags I carry on with other airlines) so I could not access other layers. It was nice to see on my way out of the plane that all the first class passengers had blankets provide while everyoneone else was freezing. Thanks for even offering, Norwegian air."

One crew member was nice, the others were not. When checking in at the airport the staff desk attendant was very rude. Too many hidden costs. Paying for extras like food and luggage does not make the price economical."

Minusy: "I never got informed, neither by the airline company or booking company that I had to order my meal 3 days prior to the flight if I wanted to be served a meal. Paying for tea or coffee is just outrageous. Crew does a minimum requirement and isn't even nice when you are just asking for a glass of water once throughout the entire flight."

Minusy: "I got to the airport at 8:45 for a 10:25 flight with carry on only. Carry on I have used with Norwegian in the past, and was actually packed minimally as this trip is only 4 days. The person at the kiosks who did the weighing of luggage was barely understandable. No one was helpful, instead it was like some game t weigh the bag and tell someone it was a kilo over. After I stood in line for 45 min, the bag weighed in at 8.6 kilos!! Clearly under the requirement, but as I was told to stand in line I was forced to check that bag and pay $65 (and to pay you had to move to a separate line that took another 30 min). As you can imagine 40% of the plane was in the same spot and then even with the flight boarding, no Norwegian staff assisted all of these passengers to get through security. Miserable!"

The crew professional and helpful. The equipment is the best-- the new Boeing Dreamliiner. Not what you would expect from a low cost company. We landed on time. Baggage elivery was prompt. I would do it again."
Minusy: "I travel all year internationally. I am 5'5" woman. The Premium seats must be designed for a tall Scandinavian male! I couldn't find a comfortable position. The headrest was too high and shoved my head forward, there was a hollow behind my back (and no pillows distributed). The seats do not recline to flat-- more like economy plus seats on other airlines. The foot rest tilts down, so you can't cuddle up to compensate for the discomfort, despite the ample width. Do eat before you board and carry a few snacks. But honestly, for this price, no complaints. I did notice that one or two of the passengers had drunk too much beer in the Alitalia Lounge at JFK and carried them onto the flight, were then rather loud and unpleasant. The attendants seemed to ignore them.I didn't sleep a wink, but the crossing was uneventful."

Pillows, blankets, earphones, eye masks, toothbrush and paste. A couple of meals and a couple of snacks. Free drinks which they must have come by 8 times during the flight. Those flight attendants were working most of the flight and were very friendly. No so with your company."
