Next problem was their REFUSAL to give me an aisle seat. I reserved an aisle seat originally, aisle seats were available when I tried to change, but agent REFUSED to accommodate me with either aisle or window. Sat in middle with huge guy next to me. Very uncomfortable. Food was mediocre on this leg. Oh, and late departing AGAIN. Will seriously look for other options on next trip."

Business Class gate desk ‘closed’ even though staffed as person was busy on the phone. Weird 2 - 3 - 2 layout means window and centre seats have to clamber over reclined neighbours. Seat width better than A380 and also less tomb like when reclined to nearly flat bed."

Considering I took six flights in this month, I will let it slide that they ran out of New movies. Worst part was food. Obviously, there is no quality consideration when they decide menu. Check Emirates or other similar fare bracket airlines to understand the gravity of Lufthansa food problem. If one reason I had to choose to drop Lufthansa from my future consideration then that would be worst food and drinks. I would strongly recommend that they should assign people who need additional time to board at the back of the plane. It will help them to go back of the plane faster and avoid gridlock in the middle. Another advantage is it will help other passengers leave plane faster at the end of the ride. Boarding process will be come significantly faster by filling the plane from back to front by loading passanger with children and who needs time at the first loading area at the back of the plane. Plusy: "Flight was cancelled at lasy minute. so, all other flights missed. Last minute notification. rebooked on Lufthansa, but wrote wrong codes - more delay."

Plusy: "Very nice crew, Economy Premium seats had enough legroom, not a bad choice of movies on the flight"
Minusy: "Worst food I ever had on a plane (frequent traveler), I would be afraid to feed it to my dog, let alone eat it myself. Barely ate anything, spent most of my flight very hungry. Refused to eat breakfast at all, it was that bad! Please do something about it, it is outrageous to give people garbage like that."

Plusy: "The flight to and from Los Angeles was operated by British Airways and was on one of their Airbus fleet. Boarding was completed efficiently and with ease. I sat on the upper deck and was very comfortable in comparison to other major airlines previously used for this particular flight. The plane was very clean and the crew were outstanding. Nothing appeared to be too much trouble for crew, and they were ready with beverages, including tea and coffee, and snacks throughout the flight. In flight entertainment was good. All in all very pleasant flight to and from the U K."

Minusy: "Because the flight was through british airways, extra baggage was $90 much more expensive than Finnair's prices. After paying that before departure to London I recieved an email from British Airways that stated an extra bag for both my flight to London and return flight to San Francisco had been fully paid for. At the airport I was told by British Airways employees that I would have to pay another $90 regardless of what my email said because their official prices are $90 each way not both. I showed them the confirmation I had recieved and all they could say was "that is confusing". There was very little empathy or attempt to help. As a result I was forced to leave the suitcase behind with my acquaintance in London and do an in airport shuffle of all of my belongings. The flight was great but beware emails that may not match up with online info."

Minusy: "If you are not planning to sleep, bring your own book, tablet and earbuds! The airplane has no individual screens for entertainment, only tiny drop-down screens."

Minusy: "Planes are old, small tv screens in aisles, older seats and headrests. I had requested Gluten Free meals and on the way to Amsterdam they did okay (besides the snacks). On the way back they didn't even offer me the second meal GF, I had to ask another flight attendant who went looking for it and found one.. so it was there, they just hadn't bothered to look for it. I also never understand why you wouldn't start boarding with the last rows? Is that just me? The aisles are always so crowded when the last rows walk in and there's always a line."

Minusy: "Even though we had booked this flight in September we were never able to choose a seat for this flight. We kept trying and the only way we could pick a seat months and weeks ahead was if we bought an upgrade. We had already spent over $1000 to fly to Paris each and did not want to buy an upgrade. We just wanted the assignment of a seat. When we got closer to the date we were told that we would get a seat assignment at check in. At check in we were told we would get a seat assignment at the airport. At the airport we were told we would get a seat assignment at the GATE! At the GATE the attendant had difficulty finding our seats and finally found them with the help of another attendant. This adding extreme stress to a trip that was planned in September and should have been a pleasureable experience. Our seats were not together and we then had to go on the plane and ask other travelers to change their seats in order to be near each other. This was not our job! We ended up near each other but not together. Then when we arrived in Paris we noticed that our suitcases had been tagged STAND BY!!!!!! We were glad that we did not see that at the Philadelphia airport because it would have added even more stress to a long anticipated pleasure trip to Paris. Next time we will make sure that the tickets we are purchasing (FINNAIR) have nothing to do with American Airlines."

Plusy: "Not bad as cross-ocean flights go, but cramped. The seats (and the available room per person) are what would be considered normal nowadays, but I remember flying thirty years ago. The crew was very pleasant and snacks were served (and appreciated), but didn't make up for the cramped conditions."

Minusy: "Loading was like a cattle car. Drinks were slow to be offered. No drinks until after food was served more than one hour into the flight. No one ever seemed to check if I needed anything. When I did, there was no call-button. Seats were from the 90's and VERY narrow. I would NEVER pay for First/Business class on Finnair again. It was very poor."

Minusy: "15 hours before the flight, I was locked out from the website to check in and secure seats. I then called British airways to do so and after 15 min of the agent trying to get seats, she told me that there was a shutdown and no passengers were able to do so and everyone had to book seats at airport. When I got to Heathrow, the agent told me that was not true and everyone was able to book online.. Misleading!"

Minusy: "My bag was left in London during my connection and arrived in Denver the next day. From what I understand once my bag arrived it was handed off to a third party delivery company. I am not sure how to complain to this company, maybe British Airways has a way to do it since they hired them. My bag must have arrived around 3:30pm in Denver. I got a text at 5pm that my bag was being delivered, which is fine so far. I did not hear before 10pm from the delivery guy about an estimated delivery time of my luggage, at that point he said he would show up around midnight. He eventually arrived at 3am. I don't know how the delivery company plans their deliveries but this is rather unacceptable. Unfortunately, this is not the first time this happens to me. Do they really always expect people to stay up until 3am the day after an international flight to get their luggage that was mis-handled by the airline.... I'd rather just drive to the airport myself the next day to get my suitcase myself."
