Austria Airlines just not for me. Thought I will have a great experience, however it was the other way around. Every passenger on board had the same meal with no preference.
Low cost aircraft for business class pricing. Poor seat comfort. Basic food. No entertainment system. Almost no room for carry on.
Better food, more often drinks, also didn’t receive luggage with me. Kept them behind
The boarding at the Vienna airport was an absolute chaos; no rhyme or reason, no order just everyone shoving; I thought I was in some 3rd world country where the concept of organization and order has not reached 21st century. The web site is one of the worst, not intuitive or clear at all; it took me forever to book a seat and having to pay for it, another slap in the face. I traveled with Austrian air many times but this was just so frustrating and disappointing.

It was not Lufthansa. It was a cramped United flight. We have health problems and had to pay $472 extra just to get a better seat. The temperature in the plane was freezing. Plus our luggage was not put on the plane and 12 days later, we still don’t have it.

I made it to the gate with 3 minutes to spare, so no time for the bathroom, no time to get lunch or even a bottle of water, no time period. And at the end of it all, my bag is lost."

The food was terrible and by the end of the 90 minute flight our rears were sore from the poor seat cushioning. Not a good experience at all. All of this was after a terrible experience and delay just trying to connect flights within the German airport and the security delays that probably would have made us lose our flight if it wasn't delayed. There needs to be a better system if you are not staying in Germany but just connecting flights from the same airline!"

Dowiedziałem się dopiero po telefonie do linii lotniczych kiedy to postanowiłem zadzwonić, bo nie mogłem się odmeldować online kilka godzin przed podróżą na lotnisko... Przez co z lotniska do domu wróciliśmy nad ranem, a plany były wrócić za widoku dnia poprzedniego... Brak szacunku do klienta i jawna kpina ze strony KLM
Wylot opóźniony o ponad godzinę bez podania przyczyn. Walizka nie doleciała. Odbiór,gdy dotarła tylko z lotniska, nie dostarczają do hotelu. KLM przesyłał mi informacje po holendersku zamiast po angielsku.
There was already a group forming a line at zone 4 for a good 15mins and another group created another line just 5mins before boarding and the 1st group had to re-queue. A few of us voiced out to the floor crew but they did nothing. Earphones. Could be supplied first since the flight is suffisent for a movie.

Indeed, my carry-on arrived with several scratches on the plastic edges as well as some signs of worn on the textile. Because of this carry-on baggage size restrictions, I will not fly TAP airlines again (unless I can travel with my hand purse only)."

We were charged 462.00 extra to take the next flight out 3hours later. We were charged twice for the same flight from Portugal to Rome. It was not our fault that we could not connect in Portugal, every other airlines would make resonable accommodations with out any extra charge. We both feel cheated by tap airlines and it made our vacation very stressful trying to resolve the double charge. It has not been resolved as of yet and we our very disappointed on how we were treated. can’t get anything other than the blame being passed around."

We arrived to the airport nearly 2 hours before departure time, waited 35min in the security checks and my girlfriend was held 20min in the passport control. While she was queuing for the 2no police officers to check her passport, an airport assistant came to the queue and asked who was due to board in TP364 to Heathrow. She was made aware that my girlfriend was there due to board that flight. In the meantime I made my way to the gate to make the gate assistants aware that she was held in the passport checks and was already on her way to the gate. Having said that, the zealous assistants in the gate have closed the gate in front of me, 18min before scheduled departure time and - "very kindly" - told me that I wouldn't be boarding that flight anymore even though my girlfriend have arrived in the meantime. One can imagine the frustration I felt finding out that the flight departure was delayed and that the flight actually departed 40min late. At that time I was already suffering the extortion of the customer service from TAP, claiming from me circa 400Eur from each of us for a one way ticket in the next flight to London. Therefore... until I remember this... I AM NOT FLYING TAP ANYMORE... I am very proud of being Portuguese but in similar situations that occurred with me flying British Airways, Lufthansa or Air Italia, I have always been treated with much more respect and customer care!"
Plusy: "Anything I liked feels inconsequential compared to the bad."
Minusy: "My wife and I arrived to the airport for our honeymoon extremely excited. We had been saving for our trip to Italy for months, and we were finally going to get things started. Everything fell apart when we went to check in and we were told that my wife couldn’t use her ticket because she had changed her last name. We were told that there was no way that the name on the ticket could be changed because of TSA regulations. Of course, we were also told that we could have changed the name had we purchased a more expensive ticket. In other words, we were lied to and told the issue was regulation, when really they wouldn’t help us because we couldn’t afford a more expensive ticket. The only help we were given was the pleasure of paying over $1,500 more to get my wife on the flight. I am in the process of trying to get this refunded, but as of now we have paid twice for my wife to fly, and neither ticket has been refunded. We may have accidentally broken a rule, but the only function that rule seems to have is to make us pay twice for the same seat. As of now, I would never fly this airline again, and I would warn everyone away from it. I will update this post if TAP does the right thing by two honeymooners."
Minusy: "Huge delay. No clear explanation what caused the delay"
Plusy: "The crew were kind and considerate."
Minusy: "This was the worst flight I've ever experienced. There was an incessant, loud high-pitched buzzing noise for the entire duration of the flight (we were seated in the very back row so it was particularly loud for us, but others further up said it was bad for them too). Also, we had straight turbulence for over two hours. I've never gotten sick on a plane before, and my husband never gets motion sickness, but we both threw up (and I think several others did, too). I don't blame the crew for any of this, as I know most, if not all, of it was out of their control. However, I would be very nervous to flight TAP again due to this experience."

Minusy: "Be aware at check-in. It seems TAP never keeps the promise on the seats you reserved/paid for. The seats reserved appear in your e-ticket and in their app after purchase. But at check-in you find you were moved to the back and to the middle. All good seats gone. Has happened frequently with us!"

There was a slight problem with the air craft before we took off. Air conditioning was off and the door were closed while we sat there for 15 mins. They kept us well informed though, not the end of the world."

Minusy: "Everything was perfect until I receive my bag and notice that two (2) items were missing: my snorkeling face mask, and my camera's tripod. Who is responsible for this? How can I be happy with this?"

Plusy: "There was little to like about the entire travel experience. The check-in line was the longest I have ever seen, almost 90 minutes of waiting. The check-in & gate staff were rude and had no care for our check-in situation or information about the delayed and changed flight! Never Norwegian again!"

Plusy: "The aircraft was a Boeing 787 Dreamliner! Wow, what a great aircraft! Seats in coach were good but tight for a big person like myself, but that is more my problem than theirs. Flight cost was the major determining factor and Norwegian was the low cost leader. I'd travel again with them."
Minusy: "NO FOOD, NO DRINK unless you either bring your own (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED) or don't mind purchasing a 12oz can of Coke for three Euros. If I were to travel again with them, I'd pack a bigger lunch and more water/soda for myself to save some cost. Even if purchased in the terminal."

Minusy: "I booked a business class seat several months ago and wa downgraded because my seat was broken. I spent 8 1/2 hrs squashed in economy from Newark to Rome. I was promised 1st class service even though I was downgraded but I had to argue with the flight attendants to get the premium meals. The gate agent claims that this is std and happens daily. She promised that the crew is notified about this stuff and I would be taken care of. What a load of bull. They also claim that I’ll receive a 75% refund on my ticket. I’m not going to hold my breath waiting. My wife and I travel business class all over the world and this is the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had."

Minusy: "We asked a worker at the self checkin kiosk if the seats my wife and I were assigned were next to each other, and the worker told us they were. They actually weren't, so I had to ask another passenger if she would switch seats with me. This was especially annoying since I supposedly paid an extra $30 to get seats together. Boarding process was the only other negative. The line was not organized or supervised in any way. Group A was called and then very shortly after, while people in A were still lining up, group B was also called. People from group B just piled in toward the front of the line and many group B passengers boarded before group A. In the end, boarding groups didn't matter at all because you all just crammed into a bus together and the last people on the bus were the first to get off and board the plane anyway."

The cost of changing our flight through Kayak for the next day was over $750 and the travel insurance I purchased through Kayak may not cover this event. I may never use Kayak again. Here we see the high cost of low price deals."
Minusy: "FLIGHT WAS DELAYED OVER 6 HOURS. IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE NON-STOP TO ROME BUT INSTEAD WENT TO OSLO AND HAD TO STAY OVERNIGHT"

Imagine this sound and vibration 109 plus times on an 11 hour flight. Fresh food and several kinds of liquor sold out in first 90 minutes of takeoff what was left was chips, candy an instant soup. Bottom line: I’ll buy a more expensive ticket on a traditional carrier from now on"
Minusy: "I missed checkin by 2 minutes, because there was line of people checking in for later flights."
Plusy: "The cheapest option still allowed for movie viewing and for a lax baggage capacity standard. Will fly Norwegian again and again."
