Before boarding, I asked at the gate if my new seat was a window--which is what I paid for--and they confirmed yes, my new seat was a window. Turns out, it was not, it was a middle seat. I asked a flight attendant to relocate me to a window seat, which she kindly did, however this seat was quite uncomfortable as I was seated next to a large gentleman who probably should have been required to purchase two seats. Overall, there were two issues with Qatar Airways during this trip: they did not give me the seat I had requested and paid for, and then lied when I asked if my new seat was a window."

I felt that the crew at Nairobi airport handled the situation pretty well however, the staff at the Nairobi reservation office were a bit cold and not very helpful."

I then missed my next flight in Istanbul and had to purchase another ticket. I cannot believe that air passengers are treated in this way!!! I will follow this up with KLM when I go home from my holiday."

There was no oversight of what people were putting in the overhead compartment so many were putting both their carryon suitcase and under seat bags up there leaving no room for our suitcases by the time we boarded. The flight attendants were eventually helpful in finding space by making people remove smaller items, but it was time consuming and avoided on most airlines we typically fly by enforcing bag rules as passengers are boarding."

Minusy: "I paid $123 for the flight and than I was profiled by the attended and forced to pay $85 to check in my carry on as a baggage. My carry on fit in the display model, it was 1/2 inch showing because of the handle and I was forced to pay an extra $85! Almost as much as my flight costed. When I was boarding the plane I saw several people with carry on baggage that were wider and longer than mine. I will never fly thru British Airways or book thru Kayak.com again. When I get back to my country I will file every complaint I can thru google and social media. I never felt so disrespected and ripped off!"

Minusy: "I still don't understand why airlines don't board from the back to the front. Would make the entire process go much smoother. The bigger the plane the bigger the problem and delay. I don't mind storing a bag under the seat but there's more stuff taking up legroom so it's hard to get the feet comfortable which is important for those longer flights."

Minusy: "Reaching our connecting flight. The Bataan death march comes to mind—concourse 3 to 5, oh my! Having got through all the hurdles including incomprehensible up, down, up again down again escalator rides and security pat down for my wife we got to Concourse 5 where we learned our plane was leaving from C gates, but not which C gate. So we looked for directions to C gates. The only signage was for C gates 52 to 57. Common sense would lead one to believe that C gates 1 to 51 existed somewhere in the terminal; but no they do not and not many people are aware that they don’t. There has to be a better way. Perhaps before Brexit becomes a reality you could lean on Germany’s vaunted efficiency to help clean up this nightmare scenario."

Minusy: "I don't know what happened. Check-in took almost an hour. Usually it only takes 10 or 15 minutes. I am glad that I got to the airport 2 hours a head of time."

Also, even as a slim person, the seats are crammed together so we all knock elbows and I am disappointed that all the airlines continue to reduce space. Arrival at Logan, Boston was a nightmare...2 hours to get through passport control, customs and baggage pick up. Don't fly into Boston at 9pm Saturday night! I flew outbound with AerLingus and the leg room was better so I will look to fly with them next time."

Plusy: "The connecting flight got canceled and 24 hours latter we are still in the airport trying to get to our final destination."
Minusy: "We rebooked our flight to another flight firvthe following day and that one got canceled too. They have not returned our luggage yet. They said within a week we'll get our luggage. The worst company on the planet. Do not fly them. Our vacation has turned into a nightmare. We had to repurchase tickets with a different company so we can get to our final destination. We don't know if we'll get reimbursed for any portion of this."

Minusy: "I recommend that you not affiliate with Webjet. I will never make a reservation through them. Everyone at Webjet is from India with strong accent. Always put on hold to ask supervisor to make any change. Took 4 phone calls , many emails and hours on the phone to finally cancel a flight."

Plusy: "Traveling alone, especially in another country, can be daunting but at least there was no language barrier, almost! The aircraft and personnel were fine as expected. Much as expected in a domestic flight in the US."
Minusy: "Having to pay for a drink of water was unexpected. Not having to deal with cash for purchases saves the hassle for attendants, but the credit card machine did not work, there was no alternative machine to try after I was told "we have been having some issues", and as a result I was unable to have anything. The associate seemed unconcerned and unapologetic and simply walked away. Poor response."

Minusy: "Then booked me through Oslo. I will miss the full day and then had to pay 360 ponds more. The worst customer service."

Plusy: "It was a short flight but the plane and staff were amazing."

Plusy: "The food was decent and the tv's offered a number of movies and options to pass the time this was my first time flying with BA and I would fly with you again. Much improved from AA and United"
Minusy: "The crew was fine, but not overly friendly. I flew BA to and from my destination. The other flight, the plane was nicer/newer possibly."

Plusy: "Crew in the aircraft."
Minusy: "Business class is packed with seats. Other passengers hopping over you if sitting in aisle and serving window passenger over you. No privacy if traveling alone. Very odd to be looking into another passenger eyes during service and landing and takeoff. Toilets not very clean and ran out of Toilet paper. No toilet seat covers."

Plusy: "NOTHING: we didn't make it to this flight"
Minusy: "We didn't make this flight due to fog. Had it waited about 25 minutes before departing (and knowing there were at least 4 passengers on route that were delayed from Paris CDG) we would have made it"
