How can you have a complimentary lounge for people missing their flight but not allow people in. I guess because we were only economy. When asked could we pay for an upgrade to business class, the attendant responded with "oh, its expensive" I didn't ask how much, I asked if we could. I never felt so insulted. The food was terrible. By the time they got to us, our food was cold and they ran out of the menu item we wanted. I have no intention of flying Qatar again. I will stick with Emirates"

One passenger traveled from Houston with a bag of 11kgs. Items include 1 laptop documents and tablet. She didn't shop in Dubai. She was allowed in Houston but was charged $100 in Dubai for same weight."

Don't know whether Fly Dubai or Emirates are to blame but my suitcase (a top grade modern Samsonite) was a mess by the time it reached Geneva, with rubber seal on one side of the zip peeled back and almost off. Why can't airlines and terminals ensure baggage is treated with care and respect?"

About 15 minutes before boarding time, they announced flight delaying. Around 17.45, they announced gate changing from B to A which located at opposite side of the the airport so all passengers run there because of everyone afraid that their booking might be canceled because no one agrees to give up. At both gates, many people try to jump in the queue which no staff comes in the manage the queue. During waiting on the board, the air condition seems to be closed, hard to breathe. Around 19.00, the plane took off the Zurich airport eventually, finish the 1.5 hours delay. The captain announced that it cause by the technical problem of the flight earlier but my thinking it cause from over-booking."

Coming back to Newark the gentleman behind my boyfriend made a comment how he didn't have room due to his seat being reclined. The passenger next to us was arguing with the passenger in front of her because she didn't want that person to recline their seat back. I have never experienced such rude people on a flight and I realize this is beyond your control. It made for a very uncomfortable and stressful flight. Maybe signs can be posted or a message when booking your flight that ALL passengers have a right to recline seats and if space is an issue for your comfort then upgrade to business class for more room."

Minusy: "The space between the seats is very small, and the seats recline very far, I found myself a bit too tall to fit in them comfortably, as even reclined my neighbors seat was nearly pressed against my nose. My much shorter girlfriend did not have this problem, and slept through the whole flight. SWISS only has one or two check in agents at LAX, and the wait was about 3hr to process the 300-odd passengers on our 777. I know they're only running a flight or two a day from LA, but I am sure there's a speedier and more efficient way to check us all in."

Plusy: "Once my wife reached the gate, having left me behind at security, Turkish Airlines waited and were patient with us, the last to board the plane. The food and plane and bathrooms were all without any problems."
Minusy: "We had a 80 minute layover in Frankfurt. Turkish Airlines should make note that this is not sufficient for making a connection. 1. The terminals require extensive walking. Not a problem except for time. 2. Security entering the terminal was seriously understaffed. There were a hundred security personnel, but thousands of passengers. The line stretched for half a mile. 3. Cutting, disorganization, mismanagement, lack of organization, and airport layout all contributed to making this a very stressful hour for us."

WTF??????? give me my money back...."

Minusy: "One of the most uncomfortable plane rides I've been in... seats were so tight, my neighbor was basically on the armrest and over it all the time, it was hot in the plane, I couldn't wait to get out of there."

Minusy: "I have been told at the airport that I had an unconfirmed flight and was told that I could not travel to Istanbul. I am still at my departure city, in Chicago. I bought my tickets just like anybody would, go on the website, pick the flights and pay. But someone did not do their job correctly and did not correctly confirm my flight. I paid for this incompetence by missing Christmas and a business meeting. Do not think it will never happen to you, it is just a matter of time that this kind of bad service catches up to you. The system is so disconnected or careless that it can't even figure out I couldn't take the flight which it is is asking me a review for."
Plusy: "I really enjoyed the food and the entertainment. this was the best international flight I have taken so far."

Plusy: "Paying only half of what other USA airlines offered we had a one stop trip from (IAH) Houston to (TLV) Tel Aviv and were served two meals with offerings of other food if needed. I don't know what was served but it was good yet very different from what we eat in Texas. Then we had a 2 1/2 hour layover in (IST) Istanbul Turkey which gave us plenty of time to get off the plane, shuttle to the terminal gate then walk around the airport for about an hour before heading to the next gate for our connecting flight. The crew was very pleasant and the flight very smooth."
Minusy: "The landing in Instanbul Turkey was very poorly done, by far the worst I've ever experienced but the rest of the flight and connecting Turkish Airlines flight to Tel Aviv was great. The seats are very cramped but not much different than any other economy seat I've had on any other USA airline. The price of the ticket more than made up for the seat."

Minusy: "I have lactose intolerance and I tried ordering the special meals. However the lactose free meals are not good. I got it more than once, it's always dry grilled chicken, steamed veggies and plain rice. Overall it's a dry meal and no flavorful at all. On this trip I didn't order a special as I was hoping one of the options wouldn't have lactose."
Plusy: "The crew member that was in my area was really nasty, all the other ones where great! They had to cover for her ... she did a very bad job ."
Minusy: "The pasta was hard , looked like cardboard. My daughters could not eat , they ordered that and by the time we had a chance to let them know it was not possible to eat , they run out of other option. The next meal was pasta again , no other option ... so they where not able to eat the whole 12 hours flight."

Plusy: "The service I received on Turkish Airlines was excellent. I live in rural Rwanda and it was really nice to actually sit back, relax, and not worry about getting to where I was going. The staff was courteous and friendly and even let me keep my can of tomato juice. These may seem like small things to you but it made me feel at home for the first time in over a year and I want you guys to know I truly appreciated it. In addition to that, the flight was actually affordable and I was able to make it to New York to surprise my mom for her 60th birthday. Job well done! Thanks again and best of luck! Minusy: "Turkish airlines is overwhelmed with schedule changes. They behave in a manner not respecting the gravity of the situation and the need for people to get home. For example, they rescheduled our flights but did not confirm or ticket our flights. They should use all resources to get us home but won't let us fly on Star Alliance code share flights."

Minusy: "Starting with the check-in process. It's the 21st century, people should be able to check in electronically. I was traveling with one other person. For whatever reason the seats were not next to eachother. Flying to Munich they were nice enough to look for seats next to eachother, to no avail. Not this time around. The check in line was horrendous, security was horrendous, and the gate process could not have been worse. The service was bad. Requests for water took 15+ minutes to be fulfilled. I also noticed there were not enough non-beef meals on the plane for those who requested with it. Then we landed and the nightmare...continued. Taxiing took 40 minutes. They brought us to three different gates before finally disembarking onto the Tarmac."
