By the time they got to us, our food was cold and they ran out of the menu item we wanted. I have no intention of flying Qatar again. I will stick with Emirates"

Also, the food for breakfast was good but nothing great- the dinner on the previous flight was much more appetizing. Having said all that, flying Emirates was still a very pleasant experience."

I said no, because it would be a seat several rows back an in the middle. I had paid more to have the aisle seat, so it did not make any sense to change to a middle seat. However, some minutes later, an Emirates employee asked me again if I could change the seats. He created such an awkward situation, that it was impossible to do not change to the other seat. I tried to argument that he was giving me no other option, but to accept the change. In summary, I had a good seat due to the higher fee that I had paid, but I was transferred to the back in a middle seat. I thought Emirates was a serious company. As I told their employee, I do not plain to fly with them anymore."

I was telling a friend today, Swiss Air started with drinks, gave us a Parisian baguette sandwich, gave us a healthy breakfast of yoghurt warm croissant butter jam orange juice, drinks again, and several passengers surrounding me got special attention, one woman with a baby, a disabled person, and a teenager that was 6'5" was relaocated by the flight attendant without him even asking to a bulkhead seat for more comfort. You don't see this kind a attention to detail on any US flights or US airlines, so I noticed it. It was as if I was traveling back in the 70's or 80's when Airlines would compete for our dollars with their service. I mentioned to my friend that if I had a choice and Swiss Air was one of the choices, I'd choose Swiss Air over any other airline."

My bags were searched twice and while I fully support security this was excessive"

Not a problem except for time. 2. Security entering the terminal was seriously understaffed. There were a hundred security personnel, but thousands of passengers. The line stretched for half a mile. 3. Cutting, disorganization, mismanagement, lack of organization, and airport layout all contributed to making this a very stressful hour for us."

WTF??????? give me my money back...."

Minusy: "One of the most uncomfortable plane rides I've been in... seats were so tight, my neighbor was basically on the armrest and over it all the time, it was hot in the plane, I couldn't wait to get out of there."

Minusy: "No air or ventilation on the flight. I took four flights on this trip and all were hot and uncomfortable. Space was very tight. I’m not very tall, yet I was struggling to get comfortable or even eat in the small space of my seat."

Minusy: "I have been told at the airport that I had an unconfirmed flight and was told that I could not travel to Istanbul. I am still at my departure city, in Chicago. I bought my tickets just like anybody would, go on the website, pick the flights and pay. But someone did not do their job correctly and did not correctly confirm my flight. I paid for this incompetence by missing Christmas and a business meeting. Do not think it will never happen to you, it is just a matter of time that this kind of bad service catches up to you. The system is so disconnected or careless that it can't even figure out I couldn't take the flight which it is is asking me a review for."

Plusy: "I really enjoyed the food and the entertainment. this was the best international flight I have taken so far."
Minusy: "check in time was to long."

Plusy: "Paying only half of what other USA airlines offered we had a one stop trip from (IAH) Houston to (TLV) Tel Aviv and were served two meals with offerings of other food if needed. I don't know what was served but it was good yet very different from what we eat in Texas. Then we had a 2 1/2 hour layover in (IST) Istanbul Turkey which gave us plenty of time to get off the plane, shuttle to the terminal gate then walk around the airport for about an hour before heading to the next gate for our connecting flight. The crew was very pleasant and the flight very smooth."
Minusy: "The landing in Instanbul Turkey was very poorly done, by far the worst I've ever experienced but the rest of the flight and connecting Turkish Airlines flight to Tel Aviv was great. The seats are very cramped but not much different than any other economy seat I've had on any other USA airline. The price of the ticket more than made up for the seat."

Minusy: "I have lactose intolerance and I tried ordering the special meals. However the lactose free meals are not good. I got it more than once, it's always dry grilled chicken, steamed veggies and plain rice. Overall it's a dry meal and no flavorful at all. On this trip I didn't order a special as I was hoping one of the options wouldn't have lactose."

Plusy: "The crew member that was in my area was really nasty, all the other ones where great! They had to cover for her ... she did a very bad job ."
Minusy: "The pasta was hard , looked like cardboard. My daughters could not eat , they ordered that and by the time we had a chance to let them know it was not possible to eat , they run out of other option. The next meal was pasta again , no other option ... so they where not able to eat the whole 12 hours flight."

Plusy: "The service I received on Turkish Airlines was excellent. I live in rural Rwanda and it was really nice to actually sit back, relax, and not worry about getting to where I was going. The staff was courteous and friendly and even let me keep my can of tomato juice. These may seem like small things to you but it made me feel at home for the first time in over a year and I want you guys to know I truly appreciated it. In addition to that, the flight was actually affordable and I was able to make it to New York to surprise my mom for her 60th birthday. Job well done! Thanks again and best of luck! Enter to find the changing table Dirty diapers and wipes for tiny asses Moan, itch, pick, cry, kick, kick, scream Mommy Mommy Mommy Mommy Mommy Decadent. Familial entitlement on a budget. Sit down to stares. Without doing anything So begins the ogling Not for beauty or glasses But because of his right to look in any direction he pleases. The drink cart comes by Soft drinks only Stuttered English behind Only a sweet belch of coca cola Released, bubbling an unfettered expression shared across all languages. (but do they share my disgust?) Oh to fly, to find a cab to drive in the big city."

Plusy: "US government sends out travel advisories in timely fashion"
Minusy: "Turkish airlines is overwhelmed with schedule changes. They behave in a manner not respecting the gravity of the situation and the need for people to get home. For example, they rescheduled our flights but did not confirm or ticket our flights. They should use all resources to get us home but won't let us fly on Star Alliance code share flights."

Minusy: "Starting with the check-in process. It's the 21st century, people should be able to check in electronically. I was traveling with one other person. For whatever reason the seats were not next to eachother. Flying to Munich they were nice enough to look for seats next to eachother, to no avail. Not this time around. The check in line was horrendous, security was horrendous, and the gate process could not have been worse. The service was bad. Requests for water took 15+ minutes to be fulfilled. I also noticed there were not enough non-beef meals on the plane for those who requested with it. Then we landed and the nightmare...continued. Taxiing took 40 minutes. They brought us to three different gates before finally disembarking onto the Tarmac."

Minusy: "Sitting in the middle. It is always uncomfortable due to the fact that you need to ask the person sitting next to you to get up because you need to use the restroom. Aside from that my overall experience was excellent. The food, entertainment, staff all helpful and friendly."

Minusy: "Too small plane for business travelers - no carry allowed inside, yet all electronics have to be taken out. Lufthansa does not care about Senator status at all."

My wife has some physical challenges and received special treatment, in fact we were accorded priority in boarding as she had to temporarily use a wheel chair.
