Fantastyczny lot z busiess class
Emirates airlines does not inform there passengers of the required documents even at there counter in the start of the trip tell they don’t allow you to take your flight to the final destination. After that they say it’s not there Problem and you have to sort it out. Emirates is one of the worst airlines you can travel with.

Plusy: "The plane left on time, the ride was smooth and journey felt safe throughout its entirety. I enjoyed the flexibility of the seats; the quality of the cutlery, duvet, headphones and the matteress provided. The ICE is a brilliant entertainment system; giving an array of films to watch and games to play. The cabin crew were polite, friendly and helpful, and gave an excellent service as one would expect from travelling business."
Minusy: "The interior of the 777-300 was outdated, especially knowing that 777's have gone through an interior overhaul, so I was unfortunate to not be on of those refurbished planes. The food and the Virgin Mojito was not the best as I did expect it to better considering this was a business class. And the ICE tablet and its remote is not the most userfriendly nor responsive to use, as it does get a bit fiddly."

I had just come off another Emirates flight but this was old tatty plane, the seating squashed. The plane was delayed on the runway for around 40 mins but no announcement made, the stewards were unresponsive when people pressed the buzzer."

Minusy: "I bought a return from Emirates with the returning flight from Australia to London as a code share with Qantas. Qantas does not honour the e-ticekts from Emirates and will NOT allow you to preselect seats online. You have to hope for a good seat at airport checkin. Too bad, as I would have been prepared to pay extra for a seat upgrade."

Minusy: "I was expecting to pay for only 10 kg excess baggage according to my own scale but was charged for 15 kg and the check-in staff was rude and unwilling to listen; in-flight staff were not polite, pushing past passengers without any word; such a disappointment as I expected much higher standard of service and courtesy. Nothing beats Singapore Airlines."

Though the delay was made good during the NY Dubai flight, there was no assurance from the Captain about this when we left NY....and we were doing calculations throughout the 14 hour flight!"

We had to wait for our neighbors to step out of their seat and take advantage to do the same. Felt very claustrophobic. Service was not good, we rang the bell several times to get some help and no one came to our assistance and we gave up after that. The crew told us they had run out of some juices that we would have liked."

Overall, there are more amneties, foods and drink on Delta airlines."

Minusy: "As per my Oslo - Dubai review (read there for more details), they cancelled my flight, put me on a flight a day later, and then left me with the bill and the inconvenience. This was the connector out of Dubai and back to Johannesburg. I've flown with them many times and I've picked up one or two small cut backs they've made like no hot towel when you get onboard, only before your arrival, and the meal seems a little more slimmed down (but still pretty tasty), They used have one or two extras which they've now taken away. Not sure why?"

Minusy: "Our total flight time was about 17 hours - MAD- AMS-LAX. My husband and I both have an internationally approved carry on luggages with us. When we checked in - they asked us to both check in our carry on luggage. The reason why is because they said they don’t think they have enough space for our carry ons. I told the crew member checking us in that other people that was checking in with the same hand carry size luggage with us had no problems taking it with them. For being about to be on a 17 HOUR FLIGHT we should be ALLOWED to have our carry ons with us! We take carry ons for that reason! I had to argue and prove my case to the crew member to atleast keep 1 carry on with us. I thought that was an UNACCEPTABLE reason for us to check in a carry on luggage when we had a 17 hour travel time ahead of us. Not a happy costumer here."

I sat in the middle seat between two hours other men. It was a constant struggle arm space. After 7hours in the air I could not wait to get off the plane. If I didn't actually pay an extra €60 for the seat I may not feel bad but I feel like I might have been better off without paying for the "upgrade""

The tv screen does not move out far enough to view when the person in front has their seat all the way back. Selection is limited compared to the non stop flight previous from Miami to Helsinki. There isn't an option to view the flight details in flight which is interesting to some passengers. At least have the option."

Arriving at the airport to check in, I saw options to select seats which made me upset even though there was nothing next to each other but way more options than online."

What made me very frustrated and angry is that when I contacted Finnair to reschedule the flight I was told the flight was managed by British Airways and I would have to contact them When I contacted British Airways they said it was a Finnair flight and I had to contact them. I finally had no recourse but to buy another ticket through another airline. I feel that I should be reimbursed for my Finnair ticket from London to New York! I paid for a flight I never took. (The Finnair flight from New York to London was fine.)"

Minusy: "Crew members did not care about anything, unorganized. actually tripped and fell into the aisle hit my shoulder on the arm rest of another passenger’s seat because of a crew members luggage was in the middle of the aisle and it was dark. Food was terrible. The in flight entertainment was lacking entertainment. Crew members told us we needed to hold our carry on’s, on our lap then to store it under the seat because other people have bigger bags. Even though I got to the seat first and was trying to get settled in. Crew members were eating and on their cellphones in the back the majority of the time. It was hard to get a cup of water. Flew from Chicago O’hare to Abu Dhabi."
Minusy: "Flight delay with no reason for two hours which made me cancel another flight and wait for another five hours in transit and pay a huge amount of money to reschedule flight. Medicore plane on a long flight of seven hours from abu dhabi to kuala lampur. Cabin crew not helping. Bad toilets."
Plusy: "Excellent at desk check in service, easy to change seat."

Minusy: "Business class seat uncomfortable when made into bed. Crew appeared tired and overworked as time went by became inattentive Chaotic boarding and no information given about difficulties they were having. Lacking in food variety and minimal entertainment variety."
Plusy: "I have always loved service of Etihad airways. The food was awesome. The staff was friendly and courteous. Seats were comfortable. Surely enjoyed every bit of it."

Minusy: "I didn't like service in JFK counters..they didn't let me in my hand carrying bag to cabin..but some passengers had big bags then my bag..."

Minusy: "This flight had the potential to be good as the entertainment and food options were good, but I felt cramped and the volume of the surrounding passengers was awful. There were three crying babies, which I know neither the airline nor the families themselves can control, as well as one child with special needs who was making a lot of noise the whole flight. I wasn't able to sleep at all for that reason. Additionally, I was disappointed that the flight was late and that the deplaning process was so long – we taxied for a long time and there was only one staircase, so we were very late."
Plusy: "I had the opportunity of flying The Apartment from Abu Dhabi to JFK. It was one of the most incredible first class cabin experiences ever. The experience starts when boarding the aircraft and you are personally escorted to your seat and introduced to the several features around you. The space is ample and the cabin has some privacy doors making it feel very exclusive. There is a large couch across the seat which later is converted into a bed. I was offered pijamas and a small closet to hang my clothes right before take off. Once on the air our personal chef introduced himself and explained the different dishes from the menu. I was able to try the steak and the lamb biryani; both were superb. The IES provided a decent selection of western and some middle eastern films as well as a few live news channels. After I woke up our flight attendant explained the on board shower which is also a distinctive feature allowing to feel refreshed before landing. I had another meal before landing which included an appetizer, and entree and a dessert made with roses. The crew was nothing but fantastic and I would love to fly with them again."
Minusy: "I was not told what airline lounge I should use at JFK, but the only regret I had was not being able to take a longer flight..."
Plusy: "overall service was good."
Minusy: "as an American, with LAX as my home airport, it was unfortunate that we were not told of where our baggage claim was. We arrived in the International terminal, however, our bags arrived in terminal 4 (American). I feel for the foreign traveler in this instance. A quick update to travelers before disembarking of the plane as to the location of where their luggage would be found would be nice."

Minusy: "Being charged £94 each suitcase for excess baggage from Manchester! Our bags weighed in at 29k and 31k and was told it was a maximum weight of 23k! However when we left Brisbane our bags weighed the same and nothing mentioned to us! How can this happen? Same airline company different rules depending which country you depart? Very very angry with Etihad."
Plusy: "Service in the Economy class was a nightmare. The air hostesses do not respond fast, take hours to get a glass of water and sometimes even don't bother to get you what you have asked for."
