I had just come off another Emirates flight but this was old tatty plane, the seating squashed. The plane was delayed on the runway for around 40 mins but no announcement made, the stewards were unresponsive when people pressed the buzzer."

As frequent travelers, I am aware rules change and am willing to comply. Being told my hand baggage had to be checked in and I cannot redistribute the weight or put things into my checking bags that were yet to be tagged was unreasonable. Started my trip on a negative note which was avoidable. I have found the training crew get and the ground staff get are disparate. As efficient as the onboard crew are, the ground staff in DXB and now NYC do not match up."

Minusy: "My bag was left in Newark and did not make it to Greece. Absolutely unacceptable"

Plusy: "Fantastic flight from start to finish lax to dubai. I was offered upgrade to business class from economy for $1000 USD which was well worth the cost as the 15 1/2 flight can be tough in economy. The a380 is smooth, much more quiet and is pressurized to lower altitude than most planes so you do get off feeling more refreshed. Service and food were good and the inflight entertainment is first class with hundreds of movies on demand."
Minusy: "Took 50min after deboarding for luggage to arrive at baggage claim but I'm told that's not the usual and emirates staff were there to apologize and let us know of the unusual delay."

The agents would talk amongst themselves but there were no announcements. With the result that everyone rushed at once for boarding. The lady agent who was scanning the passes kept yelling at people to form a line but by then it was too late On the flight, they ran out of vegetarian meals by the time they got to my seat!!"

Minusy: "Missed flight because checked bags took to long to get back"

Plusy: "Twice on this nearly 8-hour flight attendants passed through the cabin with hot cloths to clean face and hands. Very refreshing! Good food."
Minusy: "This is not about the plane or the airline; rather the airport in Dubai: build better restroom facilities for your female passengers! Near gate 29 is a women's restroom with just 2 toilet stalls and one sink! Wholly inadequate for the 3-4 gates it serves."

Plusy: "The food was delicious, and I received the special meal I had requested with no problem. Again, great selection of TV shows and movies."
Minusy: "The crew seemed a bit put off, just not very friendly. Maybe something had happened that put them all in a bad mood I'm not sure. Despite this they did help people without complaint, but you could tell they didn't want to be there. Again on this flight the TVs were an old model that was difficult to use, you had to push really hard and finagle your finger to get it to read what you were pressing."

Minusy: "I told the flight attendant while boarding that it was not appropriate to have very little children on a flight of this length. Much to my chagrin, an Indian woman had two howling urchins one row in front of me. These howling urchins proceeded to scream their lungs out for 11 of the 13 hours of the flight!! One of the babies was so small, it looked like she had just pushed the critter out earlier that day!! Had they told the Indian woman to drive or swim to Dubai, the ratings would've have been excellent. I did not pay good money to have to sit in a NURSERY!!!!!"

Minusy: "Piece of checked baggage was lost en-route. It took over 2 hours to get through checked baggage and customs in the middle of the night because after we had already filled out all information regarding piece of luggage with one baggage counter employee. Japanese Customs refused to let us through due to "unaccompanied baggage" since the piece was lost by the airline and had us go back to another baggage employee who couldn't grasp that we already went through the process and had no clue what to do."

KLM offer a superior flight experience - it is a shame their terrestrial customer servic does not match it!"

I had to wait for a small plane coming from Edinburgh then wait for it to be emptied of passengers and cleaned. This meant we were over 2 hours late into Istanbul. No explanation or apology. I then missed my next flight in Istanbul and had to purchase another ticket. I cannot believe that air passengers are treated in this way!!! I will follow this up with KLM when I go home from my holiday."

Minusy: "Flight way delayed 3 hours. Staff gave no information and wouldn't help rebook us onto other flights. They gave us food vouchers 2 minutes before we finally boarded, so we couldn't use them. The food on the plane had spoiled so we were all starving on the flight, and we all missed our connections. Horrible experience and wouldn't fly with KLM again."

The flight has a 32 hour layover and KLM lost my luggage and it was not found until a week after my arrival back home. I still have not received my bag at this time. The boarding crew was manually tracking who boarded and who didn't. It was a cluster."

Minusy: "KLM had bumped us to a later flight for no reason and again we had to call with a long wait to get our original connection restored, However, we did not get boarding passes during checking in Europe and thus had to go outside security in Detroit to the main check-in gate and wait 30 minutes to get the error resolved. Then it was back thorough security and a rush to the gate to get there in time to board. Lost our original seat assignment and wound up in the last row at the tail of the plane. Extremely poor coordination between KLM and Delta who operated the flight."

Plusy: "The crew were really helpful since I am a short person in putting my luggage away in the overhead compartment and attentive to everyone's needs. I am a fussy eater and don't really like airplane food but the food was actually really nice. We was given plenty of snacks and drinks in between meals as well. There was plenty of programmes to choose from to keep me entertained."

Minusy: "14 hours connection time and they don't offer hotel/meal accommodation that airlines like Qatar Airways do. I inquired about the hotel within the airport and it costs $300 for 8 hours. Ridiculous. There is no place to sleep properly in the airport, I saw people laying down on the floor."

Plusy: "A380 is a great plane to fly in, very roomy. Entertainment was good but could be improved by allowing access while plane is still on the ground. This is significant on these long haul flights as boarding commences about an hour before departure."
Minusy: "Boarding was confusing. The gate showed as "open" sometime before boarding actually commenced which was confusing. The seats have a very strange headrest thing you can't move which I found a bit annoying. Otherwise seat was good."

The business class lounge was nice but needs a quiet area where people who have long layovers (like us) can lay down and have a darkened room for a bit of rest."
Minusy: "The seat I was in was very hard and definitely needs more padding. My but was killing me during the flight but the cabin crew helped me by gin I got me 2blankets to fold up and sit on. The pillows are way too big and hard. I recommend paring them down the size they currently are. I was in seat 7-E. The business class bus was last to come so we waited for a long time to get to the plane. Most of economy was boarded before us. But not really a big problem as we did get on the plane with no problem."

I asked more than one Eithihqd personeel and they did not know the difference bewtween Nyac flight and DC flight . Then came back to request for seating and they again made believe my security will be declines if i waste timein requesting seating. Got a flight between 2 males for a 15 hour flight and a run across the airport with a heart problem . I will never fly Eithihqd and also will not recommend to anyone"

I could not get a flight home without buying another flight. They refused to put me on the next flight out without me purchasing it. I will never fly them again. Now they don't want to reimburse me for my flight I missed without an $800 penalty. Ridiculous!"

Minusy: "AVML food was requested but I have never had worst food than on this flight (ever in my life). The crew to abu Dhabi was Ok but I had the worst experience ever on the flight to Ahmedabad. The staff was OK only. The entertainment was sub par. I recently flew Delta domestic flights and it had many newer English and Hindi movies than on this flight to India, go figure. I think even Air India may have newer and many more movie choices than this air line. I flew my sick father with Catheter business class but the restrooms in the business class were same small pigeon hole size. We could not even fit inside to empty out the bag. Don't buy business thinking of the luxury of space. It is a myth."

Minusy: "bags did not make it to final destination and were stuck in abu dhabi. we landed on sunday and did not get our bags until tuesday. we had a very long layover so unclear as to why our bags did not make it on to the flight. it was a big inconvenience"

Plusy: "The crew were good and accommodating, this was the only positive."
Minusy: "the Food is the worst ever, i had better experience on an economy class with a budget airliner. on the 4 sectors i had with Etihad, it was breakfast menu no matter what time it was and it was the same choices which had to do with a form of eggs. i opted not to be served. the plane is old, seat is not functioning well, entertainment screen was not touch and had to be operated with the remote which was not working. really it was a huge disappointment. may be Etihad reserve their good stuff for the European and American sectors. I will never fly Etihad business unless I have no choice."

Plusy: "The food was pretty good for airline meals. We really made good use of the entertainment system which had many great movies and a kids interactive touchscreen. This entertainment system made the flight! Boarding was quick and easy and the ammenty packagfes (eye covers headphones socks ear plugs etc.) and a kids activity book was also great."

Plusy: "The service was spectacular to begin with. It was consistent, frequent and ultimately satisfying. It was a very comfortable ride with enough space for a broad guy like me. What I love most is their selection of entertainment. I wasnt expecting the food to be as good as it was. I love their flight progress and flight time."
Minusy: "Jet airways disappointed me from Abu Dhabi to Mumbai because it took a while to board then after boarding we waiting over two hours for a delay."

Minusy: "Very bad odor, throughout the flight, very limited Choice of entertainment esp new English movies , outdated movies, so so food and drink options, choice of wines sucks"

Plusy: "Travel bag (with toothpaste, socks, etc) was given."
Minusy: "2. Food choices from Abu Dhabi to Bangkok was Szechwan (spicy chicken), Indian (fish), or vegetarian pasta; no international or Thai food. 2. Entertainment was stopped 30 minutes before arrival."
