Business Class gate desk ‘closed’ even though staffed as person was busy on the phone. Weird 2 - 3 - 2 layout means window and centre seats have to clamber over reclined neighbours. Seat width better than A380 and also less tomb like when reclined to nearly flat bed."

So, regardless of whether you book your tickets 3 months in advance or the day before, you're not actually guaranteed a seat unless you check in online. We weren't told this until we were at the airport and checked in there that we might not be able to get our pre-booked in advance flight because of over-booking from KLM. We then had to wait and see if there were seats available when boarding. Luckily, there were, but we were not sat together. Not the greatest start to our first holiday together as a couple. We were told that if there weren't seats available, they'd pay for us to get to another airport to fly out, which would have meant a huge delay on the only time off we'd get together this year and have to rearrange our pre-booked and pre-paid living arrangements for the week. All because there wasn't a lot of emphasis on the need to check in online before hand. You'd think if someone checked in at the airport, that would be more of a guarantee that they'd be flying with you that day, but apparently not. Definitely not impressed or happy with this part of the KLM experience. This is the only company that we've had this problem with, they should make it clearer that it is essential to check in online."

They will not refund my money at the airport and now I need to go through their home office for a refund. It was bad enough not having any extra leg room on a red eye when you are over 6 feet tall but now I have to jump through hoops to get my money back."

After that meal service he offered everyone coffee except us."

I have difficulty walking narrow aisles, and in crowds. The staff was very understanding, and let me pre-board, ensured someone was there to help me deplane, carried my carry-on for me, and did everything possible to assist me. The crew/staff was wonderful!"

We spent an hour waiting on line at their call center (no local numbers, only one Finland number) and got rebooked on a super tight HEL-FRA-LHR-SIN connectiob, which we barely made as the connection times were so short. Plus they messed up the checkin so we got denied boarding in Frankfurt and lost our suitcases. Perfect storm... we will NEVER take this airline again. Totally understaffed and I competent. Fly a major airline and pay a little more to avoid things like this..."

It was the best flight experience of my life. Great food, hosts, and service. It was very comfortable the entire way."

Plusy: "Although I booked this as Finnair, it was actually a British Airways flight, as I knew it would be. And it was fine--I don't think Finnair gets much credit, but whatever. I'd actually have liked to travel with someone more exotic!"

Minusy: "Ingen underhållning ingen flyginformation otrevlig personal jag kommer inte att flyga Finnair igen. Jag och alla andra fick sitta att stirra på väggen framför oss i 7timmar den spanska personalen ska inte jobba för ett nordiskt flygbolag fy fan Med vänlig hälsning Benny"

Plusy: "I never took it because....."
Minusy: "your customer service agent refused to help, and I had to fly to New York and take a different flight to London, and the whole thing cost me an extra $2900."

Plusy: "The flight itself was very good. The food is descent and there are good selection of movies."
Minusy: "My bag was left in London during my connection and arrived in Denver the next day. From what I understand once my bag arrived it was handed off to a third party delivery company. I am not sure how to complain to this company, maybe British Airways has a way to do it since they hired them. My bag must have arrived around 3:30pm in Denver. I got a text at 5pm that my bag was being delivered, which is fine so far. I did not hear before 10pm from the delivery guy about an estimated delivery time of my luggage, at that point he said he would show up around midnight. He eventually arrived at 3am. I don't know how the delivery company plans their deliveries but this is rather unacceptable. Unfortunately, this is not the first time this happens to me. Do they really always expect people to stay up until 3am the day after an international flight to get their luggage that was mis-handled by the airline.... I'd rather just drive to the airport myself the next day to get my suitcase myself."

Plusy: "The staff was very kind."
Minusy: "If I'm paying for a trans-atlantic flight (at a fee of $1,000), I shouldn't be stuck on a plane that is used for domestic flights,and thus does not have the space nor the comfort of a larger plane. And, if this flight is not going to offer the amenities accustomed to a typical trans-atlantic flight (such as in-seat TV), then the price should be substantially cheaper. I will be complaining to the airline itself for this, and may not fly this airline again."

Minusy: "Flight was operated by IBERIA. I had to seat separately from my husband as IBERIA charges $45 for selecting the seat."

Plusy: "Crew attentive. The delay was due to airport conditions in FCO, cannot be blamed on Air France."
Minusy: "Food. For a 2-hour plus flight, from 11am to 1:30pm, we got 20gr pretzel sticks. This is ridiculous. Don't pretend you are not low-cost! Formerly, before the Joon failed (thank God) venture, Air France had real sandwiches around that time of the day on that line."

Plusy: "The cabin crew were amazing and the seats very comfortable, even in economy. I'm not a super comfortable flyer so I loved that the pilot would always warn when we were getting into turbulence. 2 thumbs up. I will fly Air France again"
Minusy: "I'd appreciate a better selection of food and drinks, even if I have to pay for the drinks."

Minusy: "Plane was old and seats were super tiny. Even an average guy would be uncomfortable in it. Can’t sit in one spot for longer than 15 min without getting sore."

Plusy: "Crew was friendly and attentive but hard to understand"
Minusy: "Airport experience was inefficient. Long unattractive walk, boarding was tedious: the automatic check-in was not helpful and required so many more staff. Random security check was redundant and chaotic."

Minusy: "I didn't get to board, ended up spending $2,400.00 over and above the $980.00 that I spent booking the initial ticket. I was not informed when I booked the ticket that when you transit through 2 schengen countries, you need a transit document. I was informed about it at then airport. Not only did I miss my flight, I had to book for the next day at a outrageous price. SUPER BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE...BOTH KAYAK and PRICELINE. Will never recommend you guys to anyone."

Plusy: "I was given a great seat and the food was OK- not the Air France food of 5 years ago but still good"
Minusy: "I didn't really use the in flight entertainment - the usual movies, tv etc"

Minusy: "Horrible delay. I got letd to my next flyight. The airline stuff didn’t assist me at all and didn’t wanted to help me getting to my next flight. Horrible"

Minusy: "10 minutes late to the airport....... No help, no refund, no nothing. Never using you again"

Minusy: "It left at 6 am. Which means we had a wake up call from the airport hotel at 3:30 am to stand in line with hundreds of others. The Air France app on my phone didn't let me pre- check in."

Plusy: "Boarding staff helpful with Disabilities; food services quick and pleasant; interior cabin temps appropriate."
Minusy: "Why is boarding so prolonged? 1-Small children and elders cannot stand for 20/30 minutes 2-Why are various sections (particularly Economy), no longer boarded by rows. and from rear first...so people don’t clog aisles, step over others, injure or be injured by heavy overhead moves?"

Plusy: "Very nice stews. Food was A plus compared to US airlines AND included. Great list of movies etc."

Minusy: "Because of change in plane..bad choice of seat for long legs of husband...then late in Atlanta and very late into DC"

Minusy: "Not enough bathrooms on Economy class area due to aircraft design."

Plusy: "Direct flight from Indy to CDG is great. The plane was not so full, so I hope business improves so we can keep it going. Very smooth flight, with good and friendly crew."

Minusy: "Staff where so unhelpful that I missed my flight and then refused to offer any assistance as to how I could remedy this situation. This cost me over €180 which is a weeks food and stay for me. Don't fly with these guys or with air Croatia."

Minusy: "Flight was delayed 3 times and when I was finally put on a flight that was leaving, they failed to check the connection in Paris (Left me 10 minutes to get from the aircraft to the other plane!) I was moved to SAA in the end after a truly traumatic time in Johannesburg. This is not the first time I have suffered at the hands of Air France sadly. Needless to say, I wont be booking with Air France again."

Minusy: "Too much of hassle checking in as the airlines partners with a couple of other airlines like Jet Airways, WestJet & Aircanada. The food was just okay and the cabin crew refused to serve extra butter. When you are serving extra bread, make sure you serve the butter as well. How could someone eat bread by itself?"

Minusy: "very old planes we waited 1 hour to drop our bags as their belt had an issue we had to pay extra 70 pounds to reserve a baby cot on the plane"

Plusy: "Whenever I travel air France I get a reminder of what customer service looks like on a flight. Incredible crew, great experience"
