When I arrived to the gate there were no employees to speak to and it stated boarding time was 8:35 we didn't board until 9! It was just scary and confusing for someone flying alone in another country. When all the other confused flyers asked simple questions the employees at the gate were annoyed and rude."

Minusy: "There was a supposed difficulty with my entry in Europe when I tried to Check into Chicago. I thought that I had to cancel my flight. Swiss air representatives had to do much consultation, which took nearly an hour, while I was standing there the whole time. At the end, I was thanked for my patience and told all should be well and not even given a small upgrade for the distress this caused me. Traveling is disagreeable in general now, and personally, even moreso after this episode."

And to add injury to insult her bag was left behind in JFK during our transfer for our flight to Seattle. No big deal right, Delta will deliver the bag to our house the next day, wrong, we were told we have to go to the airport ourselves to get the bag."

"My wife and I did not get food. There was no chicken left and we can’t eat pork so we didn’t get food. Crew member didn’t ask ask first but left the pork in our table and after I asked him what it was told that was only pork left I asked him to take back. The only thing we can’t eat is pork and that was the only option. I was shocked for a long flight not to have enough food. Crew member never came back to let us that there is no other food available. After we asked and other crew member he checked and confirmed there is no other food. He offered to share his own meal with my wife and I but we refused but we appreciated that. I hope I never have an other experience like that. It wasn’t a good experience. :("

Failed to get a voucher, refund or change the dates online, was still getting an error. on messenger they answered and told me i can get a voucher, i told them i don't want it and after that they stopped replying all together. good thing i got my money back by filing a dispute with my credit cart company."

Took 40 minutes to talk to a person. 2) Although promised to bring the luggage on the next day, only brought 2 days after! We had to buy some cloth and still waiting for response from them. 3) We almost missed the connection flight (we had almost hour and a half) because the line for connection flight security was enormous and only 1 person worked in the security. Not only that we were rushed by the crew to RUN (!!!) for the bus, that was ridiculous ! We could fall and hurt ourselves."
Minusy: "25 min late too much announcements during night flight, especially about duty free items and prices..."
Plusy: "On our longer flight, we were thrilled- nice crew, delicious food, spacious, great pilot, and enjoyable entertainment experience. However, on our shorter flight from Brussels to telaviv, not only was the crew completely inattentive, but they were intentive to some very disturbing things including children who were pulling the hair of other customers and jumping up-and-down in the aisles of the airplane. There was no available entertainment whatsoever. In addition the food was extremely expensive and not particularly tasty. The plane was uncomfortable and smelled atrocious. These 2 vastly different experiences almost made me feel like I was taking 2 different airlines. Please keep consistency."
Minusy: "I didn't like the inconsistency of the 2 different planes that I was on. If you are going to have entertainment you should have some form of it on all of your airplanes. The idea that food that you need to buy is so expensive is absurd. I was really blown away by how badly the plane smelled. It was almost as if I was in a bathroom. And on top of that I really felt very unsafe with children jumping up-and-down kicking people pulling their hair etc. While it isn't the job of the flight attendants to be parents, they certainly need to be aware of safety concerns for the rest of the passengers."

Minusy: "Just about everything. Not only were both flights delayed, one without notice, both the check-in and boarding processes were obscenely long with no obvious reason. On board, the staff was very pleasant but took almost 20 minutes to respond to a page and I only paged them one time. The screens for entertainment had a lot of trouble reading touch for both my seatmate and I and the selections were very limited. My seat did not recline which made for a very uncomfortable flight as I had hoped to be able to sleep. They lost one of my bags and somehow still have not found it more than 36 hours later."

Once we landed in Monrovia, it took about 35mins for them to let us off the plane because the doors were not working and opening up. Once we finally got off the plane, it took a whole 2 hours for them to get our baggage e off the plane because spmething was wrong and they couldnot access the baggage to take it off. I am aware that planes can “fly with one engine”, but flying a plane with one engine along with it having electrical problems is not safe and A RISK! why take that risk of something bad happening, not only would lives of innocent people and their crew get lost, but that is a million dollar assest that could get lost and a PR nightmare. It is a shame they took that risk. They also dodnt tell us until we landed. Had I known before we took off at Freetown I would have gladly fot off and found another mode of transportation to get to my final destination. SN Brussels is know to send their sh*tty planes to Africa, because there are always problems with the planes heading to that continent. It is just another obvious proof of their racism."

He gave us a number to call in Florence, which was automated. File number was requested but not found. For all we know our luggage may have been thrown away. Completely unacceptable. Never ever use Brussels Airline."

The gate area was not large enough for all the passengers and there were seats for only a few while we waited and waited."

I had to purchase a $1500 new ticket to get back home in time. I wrote to the Brussels Airlines and they never addressed these complains."
Plusy: "Due to my husbands frequent flyer status, we were able to upgrade coach seats to premium free of charge - which afforded priority boarding and more comfortable seats - although, there was not much difference in legroom or general space. This flight was not full, so I had an empty seat next to me - always a good thing on a long flight. Lots of movies and entertainment available to fill up the hours. Served food and drinks constantly (3 meals plus, if I remember correctly) but the food was pretty bad. One of the bathrooms was a generous size, which made it more comfortable."
Minusy: "Boarding was confusing. They separated out groups but did not make clear where each group was to go, which caused unnecessary jam ups. Stewardess on this flight that served my section was rather grumpy and unhelpful. Seat in front of me was broken so it leaned way back into my lap, making it difficult to eat or read on my e-reader. I had a premium seat, but there did not seem to be any difference in leg room or the size of the seat than normal coach. Although there was several meals - the food was horrible. Best to take your own aboard. We were delayed getting off the ground, having to sit on the plane for a while before take off. We landed over an hour late."
