However, next day around 12 I got call from Front Desk that I have to leave my room right away because it's time to chack out and If I want to stay longer I have to pay. I called Virgin Atlantic agancy again and the agent run my information and said to me I can stayin the room longer. After that I called front desk to confirm that but they said they didn't hear anything from Virgin Atlantic and I have to leave the room by 1pm. All of this was really unpleasant!"

Shortly after take-off, our calm and comfortable more or less empty section of the aircraft was colonised by an extended family of Orthodox Jews in a kind of airborne West Bank situation. They weren’t in our section of the cabin at all to start with, and I don’t know why they were apparently able to get a free upgrade that I had to pay £100 for. We went from being in an almost empty cabin to being basically sat in the middle of an Orthodox Jewish kindergarten. It was awful! They were noisy, messy, were constantly getting in and out of their seats, the back of my seat kept getting kicked, and there was even a baby crawling around the aisle. We were surrounded. I have no idea whether this is characteristic of Orthodox Jewish family life, or just a completely inconsiderate family. They didn’t exactly ruin my flight, but they didn’t make it enjoyable either. I asked to be moved. The cabin crew were great and acknowledged the difficulty of the situation. My wife lost her window seat but at least we still had the legroom and peace and quiet."

Shoulders were squished between other passengers and had to sit twisted the whole way and Im not a large person, but am 6ft. Cabin crew impolite and unhelpful. Food was awful and made my friend sick."

Minusy: "The connecting flight from Atlanta to NY was rescheduled for an hour and fifteen minutes later, boarding for the delayed flight started late, closed doors were another 20 minutes late, spend another hour or so waiting for confirmations, during which no AC is on because of a malfunction on the plane with the electricity unit. Due to rough air conditions, no in-flight service, or very limited one - and all of those are fine by me, and not the airlines' fault at all. But then, during all these unexpected conditions, I can't even use the in flight entertainment system as i use Bluetooth earphones, and to get earphones I have to buy them for 2$. To earn excellent service, inspite of all the delays, AC malfunction and unpleasantness all you had to do was give those 2$ earphones for free. I have another flight with SkyTeam coming up and I do hope it won't be as unpleasant as it is a much longer flight."

I could not store my belongings near me. No power outlet to charge my devices for my own entertainment on a 7 hour flight. Dealing with constant traffic for the bathroom. I sat in the middle seat between two hours other men. It was a constant struggle arm space. After 7hours in the air I could not wait to get off the plane. If I didn't actually pay an extra €60 for the seat I may not feel bad but I feel like I might have been better off without paying for the "upgrade""

Minusy: "For a new plane, seats are very cramped. If you drop an earpiece on the floor, you pull a muscle to retrieve it / or make. Everyone in your row stand up. Decent movies mean a box under the seat cuts into legroom. A cramped, miserable 7 hours for this 6’0 tall American. Staff was as helpful as they could be, but my knees still hurt."

When I was boarding the plane I saw several people with carry on baggage that were wider and longer than mine. I will never fly thru British Airways or book thru Kayak.com again. When I get back to my country I will file every complaint I can thru google and social media. I never felt so disrespected and ripped off!"

Throughout the entire time waiting for the luggage to be delivered, there was no sense of urgency or concern on the part of British Airways. It seems missing luggage is just Business as Usual at British Airways."

Left a bit late but arrived pretty much on time. Baggage didn't arrive after a 2 hour transfer and this is the third time in four times over the past few years. I strongly do not recommend BA as a domestic UK connection after an international arrival."
Plusy: "We did land OK but JFK was snowed in and this probably caused the many problems we encountered. Iq always have bad luck flying in and out of that airport so I don't completely hold BA accountable. Staff we polite and efficient."
Minusy: "We were stuck in the plane for an hour and a half after landing at JFK. On the ground they ran the engines so loudly my husband got a terrible headache. We mentioned the noise problem but were ignored. Once allowed to debark we were crammed into a long cold hall and waited another 1/2 hour before moving towards immigration clearance. To top it off the baggage conveyer system was broken and we waited another 45 minutes before they shut the building down. So we left with no luggage exhausted. One piece of luggage was left back in London. Not pleasant at all. We did get our luggage returned 3 days later. That was good."

Minusy: "When you book your ticket you should be able to choose your seat without having to pony up $35 to do it, I don't understand why you have to wait until you check -in 24 hours before your flight to get a "free" seat. Food was just okay. Seats not that comfortable."

The flight was pretty old by itself. Not like the ones that go from London to United States. The Seats were smaller and had a very uneasy contour, the entire plane just looked a little banged up. The crew always seemed in a rush, to busy to even hear or look around."
Minusy: "I paid to upgrade to the exit row because I am 6 feet 5 inches tall after boarding they informed me that I could not sit in that seat because I needed a seat belt extender they made me move to a regular seat that was so tight that my knees were jammed into the seat in front of me coming back was the same the man next to me was 6 feet tall and he had no room also boarding was mass confusion as they have boarding from the front and rear simultaneously with no instructions so people had to shove past each other all in all I will never fly them again"

At the airport, my new flight was delayed, which could have caused me to miss my connecting flight to Boston and be stuck at the Charlotte airport overnight. I was then rebooked on a flight that was leaving to NY, with a connecting flight to Boston at 7."

Minusy: "Last Friday I had booked my flight for 8am, but when I woke up at 5am I found that they had just cancelled my flight without reason or rescheduling at 4:30am. I called the flight (American Airlines) and was put on hold for 45 minutes. Once I was able to get a hold of someone I rescheduled my flight to 7am, which was very rushed. I still managed to reach on time. my 1st stop was LaGuardia and there my gate was exchanged several times and my flight was delayed for 2 hours to Montreal Canada. I reach Montreal and missed my connecting flight to Winnipeg. Again American Airlines did not reschedule for me, the best they can do is give me a $12 voucher for food. So I get my rescheduled for a flight 3 hours later with an additional atop to Toronto. Unfortunately due to all these circumstances I miss one of the wedding events. I was supposed to reach Winnipeg at 4pm but end up reaching at 12:30am. When returning from Winnipeg, I came across more problems. My flight was cancelled due to weather, and again it is delayed for two hours. Our plane had left the gate and so when the airports in NY were closed we were far from the gate. They made us take our luggage and walk back to the airport. There were no clear instructions given and again I had to reschedule. I was stuck in a country with no family or friends at the airport two hours short of a 24hour day. I am really disappointed in the kind of treatment I received as a flyer, and I have flown many times with other airlines. I also don't buy from Kayak, and this will be the first and last time I ever do."
