My carry on fit in the display model, it was 1/2 inch showing because of the handle and I was forced to pay an extra $85! Almost as much as my flight costed. When I was boarding the plane I saw several people with carry on baggage that were wider and longer than mine. I will never fly thru British Airways or book thru again. When I get back to my country I will file every complaint I can thru google and social media. I never felt so disrespected and ripped off!"

From Prague we were on time, When boarding in London started we were told to sit down again claiming Boeing 777 had equipment problem and they were waiting for parts to fix it. Our departure was delayed by 1 hour. Seats in economy class are really cramped so when seats are declined person behind can not eat without banging head into the back rest. Difficult to get in and out of seat as well. Arm rests do not come all the way up so one has to squat to avoid being hit by arm rest. Not very pleasant on 11 hour long flight. Joe"

Minusy: "I used to live in London in the past, and commute with BA routinely, without any considerable issues. With this in mind, I booked this flight through the american site as I now live in the US. Big mistake. Even though I'm still a BA member and I checked in 24 hours prior to departure on the minute, I had no way of choosing a seat, in fact I had to pay to change my assigned emergency exit aisle seat. Secondly, there was a 5,5 hour delay, due to fog, which affected BA but not Easyjet or Aegean flying the same route at the same time, leaving me looking at all the other passengers taking off while I waited at the airport without any notice from my company. This resulted in me getting a debilitating migraine, for which I had to request painkillers on the plane. For anyone who hasn't done this before, despite how helpful the staff are, there's always "procedure" to be followed and papers to be signed before obtaining tylenol. Finally, when I contacted BA customer service to request a refund for this trip, considering if I had booked with any other airline I wouldn't have gone through all that, I was told it was my fault for not carrying painkillers and they "absolutely do not reimburse" such situations involving the weather. All in all, this was the last BA flight I will ever book and I am happy to go back to the US where customer service has an actual meaning and passenger wellbeing is always a priority."

Minusy: "Surprised by a snarky employee at gate check for my connecting flight home today. I fly with AA nearly every week for work. They grabbed my bag from me and insisted it be checked. I said I didn’t want to pay for checking and that it contained fragile items. It was a little over-stuffed for the scale. When I went to open it and remove some bulky items to put in my purse, they snatched my suitcase away and refused to let me touch my bag. I find this to be completely unacceptable. They had the gall to suggest I go to an airport store, buy a “suitable suitcase,” and take a later flight home. They made a scene and called a supervisor who kindly and promptly let me in my suitcase. The employee then spoke negatively about me loudly to nearby colleagues and refused to make eye contact. After the supervisor let me in my bag, I got on the plane with my suitcase. At one point, this employee made me feel like I was going to be kicked off of my flight; this was so unnecessary and extremely unprofessional. AA - your employees are better than this."

Minusy: "The flight attendant was unfriendly at boarding. He did not say or play any pre-flight safety announcements. We were told the flight might have to refuel in Richmond due to major weather delays in LGA. When we were landing they said they expected a refuel and a quick turnaround in Richmond. On the plane after landing, I learned via my phone's internet the flight was cancelled. They never announced it on the plane. At the final moment before we disembarked, the crew told us to be sure to take our belongings. When we landed, Flightaware showed delays of 45 minutes at LGA. AA never took responsibility for the problem though the gate crew mentioned they canceled the flight because the crew was going to be over their maximum hours. AA really couldn't plan to allow for up to an hour delay? I feel disrespected and even deceived. Although it was clear that flight attendant really needed to get off that plane. At the gate, we were told there were no available flights to NYC and were stranded overnight in Richmond. AA did offer a hotel pretending it was a courtesy since they claimed the problem was weather related and not theirs. We chose to stay with relatives and were told AA could only provide transportation from the airport which we did not need. We often have problems and cancellations on this route from when it was branded a US Air route to the present, but this was egregious."

Minusy: "I was disappointed that for the first time since I have been flying, they did not allow my carry-on with me. It was not that bad though because by the time I got through customs and made it to the baggage carousel the bag was waiting for me."

During this time, pilot and flight attendants shared minimal information with passengers. - At one point, I asked a flight attendant for water because I had a migraine and wanted to take some Advil. He told me he couldn't right now because the pilot wanted everyone in their seats, but he would get it for me as soon as possible. When I followed up 45 minutes later, the same flight attendant apologized and said that it was because he didn't want everyone asking for waters. We were stuck on that plane for over two hours, and you can't get people water? - Gate check was not available, meaning that I had to check my carry-on when there was no more space available (my bag met the carry-on size requirements)."
Plusy: "Air Canada was kind enough to give us a hotel voucher."
Minusy: "The flight was cancelled and we weren't informed until we arrived at the airport. An email was supposedly sent, but I didn't receive it. We had to fly out the next morning and missed half a day of work. Fortunately, we didn't have anything important scheduled."
Plusy: "No issues with the plane or service itself but we were stuck waiting for a replacement plan for a late night flight and departed 4 hours after schedule."
Plusy: "The crew was very pleasant and welcoming. The aircraft was very visibly clean, and my seat was comfortable. Most importantly the flight was on time and the boarding process was properly supervised."
Minusy: "I'm 65 years of age and have been travelling by air since I was 5. (You know back when airplanes had piston engines and propellers). So the tings I don't like are what you might expect. I don't like that I have to pay extra for a seat with adequate legroom. I don't like being charged for the most basic of Wi-Fi connections. (Delta's and Amtrak's are free). Although this was a very short flight, the passengers could have been offered the option of either cookies or pretzels, instead of everyone being stuck with pretzels."

Sent me back to find an Air Canada rep in customer service. That rep's scanner worked, and then they had a five minute discussion about it. Had to go back thru passenger scanning. Flight's gate was changed. Finally got to gate, flight was delayed, no updated information. Another 30 minute wait on the tarmac. Flight attendant in business class didn't do a cabin check before take off, man next to me continued phone convo during taxi-to-take-off whilst two gentlemen in front of me had their seats back for take-off. Bad service."

Minusy: "Boarding was slow and chaotic because of the number of passengers bringing oversize carry-on bags, presumably to try to avoid the checked-bag fee. The overhead bins filled up early, and passengers squabbled over the available space and objected when flight attendants told them they would have to gate-check their bags. The aisle was congested and blocked for long periods of time as people tried to fit their bags into the bin, and the plane left the gate more than 15 minutes late because of the slow boarding. There were about 100 people on the flight, but only about 20 at baggage claim (including at least two family groups), another indication that the checked-bag fee caused passengers to bring oversize carry-on bags. The overall rating for this flight would be significantly higher if it weren't for the boarding process."

Minusy: "It was delayed for 2 hours not only they were late they didn't know the gate, I had to stop by the customer service they told me a wrong gate twice they didn't even announce. The most lower customer care I ever experience."

Minusy: "I had a very large man in the middle seat next to me. I was in the window seat. He leaked over into my seat which made it very uncomfortable especially when he fell asleep. I know the airlines can't do anything about this but he should pay for a larger seat."

Minusy: "This flight was on Canadian Air under the auspices of United. I was not allowed into the United Club lounge despite the fact that I had business class ticket. I was informed that a business class ticket isn't sufficient for using the lounge when flying domestic. It is only good when flying international. They call that customer service. I generally avoid domestic airlines because of the customer service. The flight attendants were not happy to serve you. It's a small flight but they didn't even offer a snack -- you had to ask for it. And then they brought over a small basket with nuts, chips, candy bars, and a muffin. I took a muffin and it stuck to the roof of my mouth -- very poor quality. When I asked for a snack the flight attendant replied cocktail or soft drink never saying whether or not a snack was available.. She said this a couple of times before I could repeat that I wanted a snack to which she replied you want something to drink with that. I've been on many short flights in Asia and they will deliver a full meal and you don't have to ask for it. There was no entertainment but United did send an email explaining how I could purchase entertainment to play on my own device."

Then flight attendant yelled at me for "picking" the bulkhead seat- a seat that was given to me after united had taken my seat away earlier that day. I could go on and on. We won't be flying united again and I'm telling my friends with children to do the same."
