Minusy: "12 of January, 2018 Dear Austrian Airlines authority, I address to your kind attention to asist me to get to me the hat qhich I lost on board of the flight 1576 when I arrived to Vienna airport on my way frpom JFK to Lwo. It happened because it was no room above my seat's bin and the steard helped me to get my heat in another bin. Unfortunately I forgot at the moment when I left the board of the plane, a minute later I reminded that I forgot my hat but I was not allowed to go back and get my hat. I tried to communicate with the Lot&Found office in Vienna airport as I had 2h40 minutes in connection time and it was enough time to get me back the hat, unfortunately nothing was really done from the airport staff to get me my hat and made to me possible continue traveling with my hat. I spoke to two managers, the name I could share with you if you need. The Found office registered my black hat and the plastic box under the number F2018/000682. In this situation I ask your offices to deliver my hat and the plastic box to Lviv airport as sson as possible as this is a special hat for my daily prayers. I wish you best and ask for your kind assistance to send the item as soon as possible with the nearest flight. Sincerely, Meylakh Sheykhet"

I frequently fly and my choice of airline is delta, this by far has been the only dissappointnent. Please do make sure this gets to the person in charge."

Picture process took 4 times. Nobody tells you that you have to transfer your own bags from Delta to West Jet. I even asked in a Toronto and they said no and nobody in Atlanta told me to collect my bags. So bags never made it until the next AM. The West Jet rep was very good and located the bags and they were delivered as promised. You should provide 3 page detailed instructions on how to handle Toronto. I am a seasoned traveler by the way. I’ve never seen anything worse. I could go on and on."

Plusy: "That a delta plane actually had seat back video screens- First delta flight ever that I've been on that did. But every ones screen froze up just over an hour into the flight."
Minusy: "Even though the Atlanta to Toronto arrived 'early' I had barely 20 minutes to get to the other plane- I would not have made it with out the amazing staff of weather and the Toronto airport. I use a wheelchair and even zipping through as fast as I could I was 15 minutes late arriving at the gate. I booked this flight thinking I had at least and hour and a bit between flights. Thankfully others on my flight were also late so the Ottawa bound plane did not leave on time"

Minusy: "I travelled from usa to canada on 7 nov and after 2 hours waiting in airport they informed us that due to some issue Delta can not deliver our bagagges also one of Delta airport's staff behaved very badly (his name was Manny) , helpless and rude.I missed an important dinner meeting because of not having any suitable dress. I have many friends and family who lives in canada and usa but by facing this bad behaviour and problems never ever recomnd your airline to any of them."

Minusy: "Boarding at JFK was fine. In Halifax the flight did not pull up to an enclosed ramp but ended on the tarmac. We deplaned onto the tarmac and then walked in the open to the terminal. Our arrival should be into an enclosed ramp directly into the terminal. This is Canada and winter is coming."

Minusy: "was not able to check-in on-line -WestJet website directed me to Delta & Delta web-site directed me to WestJet. was not able to check in using kiosk at terminal, counter staff could not explain why. WestJet was unable to add my TSA pre-check to the ticket so I had to wait on security lines. will never fly Westjet again, will use Air Canada or American to get from NY to Toronto"

Plusy: "Boarding process was handled very nicely, meaning good instruction without being matronly or demeaning. Seating in first class is comfortable. Crew was efficient but not overly friendly. Entertainment options were quite good."
Minusy: "Overhead bins are the size of a bathroom medicine cabinet on this CRJ-900. Food options in first class are lacking. Only snacks and then, only crisps cookies and bananas. Would like to see sandwich offered or at least some premium snacks. Wine replenishment is done very sparingly."

Minusy: "No entertainment system for a 10 hour flight! Found out once we were in the boarding area via an announcement to download the Air Canada app to use their wifi entertainment. Or rent an iPad. Not cool! The elderly lady beside us didn't even own a phone. That's a long flight! And all my records indicated Lufthansa (run by AC) flight. So strange. No wonder people are not AC fans. Understandable to say the least."

Plusy: "The flight attendants were very polite and helpful. The seats had those "wings" on either side of the head rest to help keep your head from bobbing back and forth. There were a few good movies to watch that were current, but a lot of old movies that we had zero interest in."
Minusy: "The flight was considered a Lufthansa flight and had a Lufthansa flight number, but was operated by Air Canada. We could not check in online ahead of time for some reason. When we got to the airport, we tried to check in at the Lufthansa kiosk and check in line, but they told us we had to go to the Air Canada area. The ticketing/check in process was very confusing. As for the food, the chicken "wrap" was not a wrap, and was a weird Hot-Pocket type meal. After each meal, we ended up having to hold our garbage for quite some time which made manuvering in and out of seats a little tricky. I wish the seat cushion had a little more cushion since we were sitting for so long. Also at some point the overhead lights came on and stayed on, which was annoying if you were trying to nap."

Minusy: "The return leg has been nothing but a disaster, in every way possible, specifically my time and financially. At no point in the booking process, when I paid over $800 for the trip, was I told that I needed a specific travel visa (Canadian ETA) to fly back into Toronto for my return flight. Subsequently when I checked in for my flight yesterday morning in Manchester, England, I did not have the required travel documents and had to be rerouted onto a flight into the U.S. at a cost to me of $350. The rerouted flight got me to Washington Dulles airport, where I then had to purchase a second flight to get me home to Cleveland, Ohio, at an additional/extra cost of $450. MY CAR IS PARKED AT TORONTO PEARSON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT!!! I am having to now rent a car and drive there tomorrow (Friday) to collect my car, at another additional cost of $100 plus a 10-hour round trip. Due to the lack of information and communication on your companies behalf, I am down close to a $1,000 and will lose 2-days in work as of the additional days I am having to travel back to Toronto to collect my vehicle. I would appreciate contact from your organization to find the avenue I need to take for compensation of my time and finances. Regards"

Minusy: "This airline has little respect for its customers. In the economy/coach cabin, they squeeze the seat distances to such an extent that, when the person in front of you leans their chair back, you cannot get out of your seat at an upright angle. You have to significantly bend your body. To not loose your balance, you have to grab on to the seat in front of you and that disturbs the other passenger. If they're sleeping, they can be woken up by that. Lufthansa does not care much for its passengers. Nor do many other companies, for that matter, but I think Lufthansa is taking things further than most airlines. It is a disgrace. Their brand is not what it once was."

Minusy: "The flight was delayed for 2.5 hours, for a reason they never made clear after they let the passengers wait in line for 45 minutes to board. Once aboard, the Lufthansa planes were much much less comfortable than the Air Canada plane I took to Frankfurt. There is very little space and the seats are crammed together. The food they served was very bad, especially again in comparison with Air Canada. Once we arrived in Toronto, they made us wait nearly an hour before exiting the aircraft. It would seem that the Toronto airport would have to know we were coming and should have prepared accordingly, but apparently not. We sat, several passengers missed their connecting flights and were angry. I nearly missed my flight, having to run and race through customs (who are in no hurry)."

Minusy: "The greatest issue I have has to do with the state of Gatwick which is now under construction. Air conditioning was not available at our gate nor the seating area. We stood at our gate for a long time before being processed so that we could enter the seating area for the flight. We went from hot to hotter prior to boarding."

Plusy: "The flight was actually an Air Canada flight - a code share with Lufthansa. I had a good flight. The cabin crew were fantastic - very accommodating because I wasn't able to pre-select my vegetarian option online earlier due to the code share. They were very polite and professional. The seats were relatively comfortable and the movies onboard were aired and good. I would fly Air Canada again."
Minusy: "I disliked the confusion with the code share. I have never flown a code share before an I was under the impression I was flying Lufthansa - not Air Canada. I really disliked not being able to check in online 24 hours before on either Lufthansa's site or Air Canada. That is ridiculous in this day and age - surely the two airlines can coordinate something were the traveller can check in online on one of the sites. Also, as a vegetarian, I wasn't able to select my meal - I had to hope that they had enough vegetarian meals to give me one. This is another problem thanks to the code share. If this is what code sharing is like, I won't be doing it again. No thanks. I'll book directly."

Minusy: "I didn't like the fact that in Frankfurt the connection flight was from the other side of the airport. You have to walk miles to get to the gate which can be difficult for elderly or pregnant women."

Left us to take day earlier and we could not changed last flight( Toronto- Thunder Bay). We had to come on Aug 22. and stay in Toronto for 27 hours and than take a flight to Thunder Bay on Aug 23. We lost a day of our vacation, had to stay at hotel. Not good experience at all. We still don’t know whom to complain about that."

The first incident went I tried to use the bathroom in the back of the plane, she would tell people: "don"t use that one, I need that bathroom for......." ( not sure for what but her tone was so rude,that people walked to the other bathroom embarrassed). All I can say is that everything else was great, including the friendliness of all other crew, but that one ruined the experience. A third time I got up to walk to the bathroom and the seatbelt sign was on, but so it had been for a long time. She prompted me to go back to my seat. All others seem to do their job without been rude, Not sure why this one couldn't. Job stress? Not the passenger's problem. Besides that and the poor movie choices, everything else was great. I think the flight was delayed but to that point everything was going so smooth, I didn't even notice. I will fly Austrian again, and would love to visit Vienna. Please advise how to add the miles of my trip to my account. I booked in Kayak, left to Ohio from Miami running from hurricane Irma, my return from Ohio to Miami was cancelled and I had to embark on that long plan10 day trip without even returning home to Miami to pack. I totally forgot about putting the miles on my account on either ticket counter."

I asked her that I keep my bag because I had medication in there, and she didn't listen to me at all. She just kept repeating that i have to check my bag, and then took my bag from me and gave it to the baggage crew there. I didn't want to make a huge scene because the flight is only 2 hours and I hoped i Could deal without my medication during that time, but I found it incredibly, incredibly rude and awful to not listen to a passenger."

Due to this reason we had have to buy new tickets at the airport ticketing counter. So please sort out your problem with the airline and get back to me. From my bank the payment has been done yet to you. We had have double pay for one trip."

Having some toilets out of order compounded the problem Food is ok at best. The morning muffin was terrible A poor comparison to our flight last year on Turkish air"

The agent had to talk to someone in order to even issue the boarding pass and even though the bags were checked in all the way to Pittsburgh boarding passes were not issued. I cannot blame the agent because Luftansa had issued the ticket for this Austrian Airline flight."

You feel like the airline has shrunk the seats to as small as possible, food is scarce and bad, entertainment choices are limited, and you have to pay for headphones. My recent experience with Austrian Air was just the opposite. Seats were comfortable, leg room was good, entertainment options were plentiful and free, the food was actually surprisingly good for airplane food, and the flight attendants were extremely nice and responsive. As an added bonus - red and white wine were free on the flight and both were actually quite delicious! Finally, our flight was smooth and on time. I wil go out of my way to book my next international flight on Austrian Air - it was a clearly superior experience than flying coach on nearly any other airline."

Only airport where we had to take out all electronics, including converter plugs, headphones, etc, place in a flimsy clear plastic bag ( that broke ) to go through security. Line to check bags pretty slow for number of passengers. Glad we had plenty of time."

You get a drink and snack; and at no annoying sales announcements. Miles club membership is free, even if you don't fly regularly well worth it as it halves the cost of cost of checked baggage. Peaceful airline with no hidden costs during booking."
