Also, the person in front of me kept reclining her seat and it went back too far. I didn't want to do the same to the person behind me so it was quite uncomfortable."

Minusy: "For a 5' 4" person like myself, arm and leg room were barely minimal, Economy seats were crammed together and were not ergonomically designed for comfort or support. I was fortunate to be able to move from my center seat to an aisle seat once the flight was in progress. As soon as I did, the air around me was cooler and made for more comfortable breathing. In the center seat, the air was still and close—very uncomfortable. Poor communication regarding passport control protocol at the departure gate: A temporary station was set up, labeled Passport Control, but no SWISS agent announced what was happening. I had just gone through a passport control line on a lower level so I didn't think I had to go through a similar process at the gate. Most people around me also didn't know whether they had to go through the process at the gate. Once agents had been questioned on the subject several times, they should have made a general announcement to inform everyone at the gate. They did not. The food on the plane was the usual poor quality fare for economy class—either highly processed or overcooked and much too salty. Ugh."

Minusy: "There was no climate control. Our rows were freezing cold. People were wearing coats and blankets. Four or five rows up it was warm. My husband asked for more heat and the stewardess said she would turn it up, but nothing happened. Cold air blew out of the ceiling vents for the entire flight. When we reached our gate, we then waited in a long line to have our passports and boarding passes checked again. There were several Swissair crew members, but only one person to check all of the paperwork for economy. Then another long line to show our boarding passes again, while the business class entrance remained unused. Swissair needs someone to manage this better."

Boarding on this last flight... Nov 2 from Zurich seemed a bit frenetic. Passports we checked once again and this seemed to be taking an extra long time. I do like the entertainment selections, but the seat TVs and remotes do not always work well."
Minusy: "I do not like the cramped space that we are in. It was difficult for my husband and I to get in and out of our seats. The passenger in front of me pushed her seat back and it seemed as though she was righ in my face. She could not go upright as the person in front of her was pushed all the way back. This situation also makes eating difficult. The flight yesterday was extremely warm, which I had not experienced on my three former flights. I guess I will try your airlines once more and see how it is for a third trip."

Minusy: "Found my business class seat given away to a lady with a dog. Mine was window but with extra table next to aisle. She had aisle seat but with exactly the same configuration. Idea was she would place the dog on the table space next to her seat. It would be exactly the same for both seats. Do not know what they were thinking. There were other business class seats on the other side that had the table space ext to the window away from the aisle. That would make sense for the lady with dog. Business class was full and I was the last to get on, 45 minute connection in Zurich from terminal A to E, my seat was given. But as I objected, they moved the dog lady and gave me back my seat. But they never asked a person in the seat that would have made sense to give her to trade seats."

Minusy: "За 9 с половиной часов мало давали воды. Первый раз предложили напитки и воду через 2 часа после вылета, и сразу же горячий обед, где тоже были чай/кофе. После этого около 5-6 часов ничего не предлагали, и почти за полтора часа до приземления в спешке предложили воду, напитки и второй горячий обед, в котором предлагалась паста с курицей или паста с сырным соусом и грибами. Я выбрала второе, на деле никакого сыра там не было, соус был как чистый майонез, только горячий, и грибов было два маленьких кусочка по сантиметру каждый. На вкус это были просто горячие макароны с майонезом. Да и зелень в салате уже была темная. Полтора месяца назад на рейсе Нью-Йорк - Москва еда была вкусная, да и до этого никогда претензий не было, в этот раз одни неприятные впечатления"

The airport in Moscow was easy to navigate, despite all the negative reviews I read before my visit there, I found my gate in no time and almost everyone who worked at the airport spoke English. The airport was super clean with a wide selection of food stores and gift shops. Good prices, too. I'm definitely flying aeroflot again."

All my woolens were in there and I have nothing to wear and it’s freezing outside. They do not give me ANY compensation of any sort. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had and all just save a couple hundred dollars. Not worth the hassle! I’m still trying to get in touch with them to ask about my baggage but they’re unreachable."

On the way to Moscow we didn't have an entertainment because they monitors didn't work for 30% of the plane. On the way back they delayed the flight for 5 hours because they plane had technical issues and they were changing it. We missed our connection from NY to Miami and since it was a separate ticket I lost those tickets. They didn't update us while we were waiting what's going on. A few times they would announce boarding on the electronic tableau, people would line up and wait for 40 minutes. The staff would just look and say nothing or smile and say "we don't know why you are standing, I didn't tell you to line up!" We had a special meal on the flight. They gave you exactly the same food twice. I was just laughing but other people who had special meals were really upset. If someone asked they would probably say "it's your problem that you don't want to eat like the rest lol! Next time when booking a flight I'll pay more but have a normal experience and not the torture "Russian style""

Good food (2 servings), decent entertainment, and nice amenities (pillows, eye mask, slippers) for economy class for an international flight. For the price I paid, I would fly Aeroflot again. I wish I would have gotten my Russian transit visa prior to my trip. I knew about it, I just didn't want to pay the $200. SVO airport is great and open 24hr, but having a 20hr layover is tough. p.s. Don't let a hotel/Airbnb tell you you don't need a visa - you do! I watched 2 girls have meltdowns in the airport because they had hotel reservations, but no visas. Sad, wet eyes does nothing for Russian airport officials."
Minusy: "The staff, but you have to remember that Russian customer service is different from American. Some of the staff were really friendly and nice. I think they were compensating for the overtly rude ones, so it even itself out. Boarding at the airport isn't always clear if your flight is boarding or not. Pay extra attention to your gate and time changes."

When our plane was about to land I had my eyes closed because I had been traveling for 24 hours and was still very tired and she (Olga, I believe her name was) yelled saying "MIS, WAKE UP AND OPEN YOUR WINDOW!" this was by far the WORST flight experience I have ever had. I suggest this particular flight attendant reconsiders her career choice because customer service does not fit her. It is safe to say that I will NEVER fly Aeroflot again. And will be spreading the word to my colleagues and friends as I too am in the travel business and know how important it is to feel comfortable and safe when traveling abroad."

Plusy: "Food was good, many options with entertainment"
Minusy: "The person making announcements mumbled and spoke too softly for someone who's announcing things on a flight. We couldn't understand half of everything being said. Also both flights departed late even though TAP reported them as "on time." We sat at the gate for almost an hour before departing with announcements at that time solely in a Portuguese - on a flight going to New York."

Minusy: "TAP Airlines stranded us in Lisbon. They were late flying us from Vienna to Lisbon and then canceled our seats on our connection to JFK. Instead, they rebooked us on the next day's flight a full 24 hours after, refusing to rebook us on earlier flights on other carriers. Their customer service was as bad as I've ever experienced. Multiple agents admitted their company is terrible and doesn't care about its customers. The indifference to our situation was surreal. Lesson learned."

Minusy: "Flight was delayed and we were never notified despite receiving multiple emails to ‘upgrade’ our flight. While checking in we attempted to upgrade 3 tickets to first class and were sent to 3 different areas in the airport with our luggage, having to wait in line each time. Didn’t provide vegaterian options on board. Weren’t given a gate ever after landing 5 hours late and were kept on board for half an hour making us miss a 2nd connection we had to rebook after the initial delay. A frustrating experience hat could have been made better with just some communication about what was going on."
Minusy: "The flight was cancelled few hours before departure. I called the customer service and they a flight to Tel Aviv a day after with 3 stops. It was imposible to accept, so I've cancelled and bouhgt another ticket from other airline and ask for refund. Three months later I still waiting for the money. Not recommend at all TAP."
Minusy: "We were never prompted to pay for our check in baggage at the time of purchase and so when we showed up we were forced to pay 85 euros for one checked bag for an international flight on top of a ticket that already cost more than $250. The luggage restrictions were never shown previously. Will never fly TAP Portugal again."

What did I paid for, after all. Why push people to buy seats and then do not provide. I did not get the service I paid for and will Be requesting my money back for the complete flight."
Minusy: "The stuard I tried to discuss the matter did not even try to help, instead he only smiled in return and suggested to file a complaint. That was totally unaccepltable."

Minusy: "(1) TAP has terrible customer service and support. Was told on check-in that flight did not include checked luggage which is bizzare/unreal for an international flight especially since I also paid to upgrade my ticket. Even in explaining to me the person on the phone was rude. This was very disappointing as I had such an amazing trip to end on this sour note. (2) The boarding process took forever. They made us line up about 45 minutes before we actually boarded. So we were all standing around as opposed to being seated in waiting area. We did not board until after our take-off time. (3) Seats were really tight, uncomfortable and don't recline much."

The main flight stuardess in charge was rude and kept giving attitude to people when they asked questions because half the people on the flight didn't understand Portuguese. I wasn't allowed to pick my seat on the website so we ended up in a middle row. The person i was traveling with is over 6 ft and could not comfortably fit in the seats. Thankfully no one sat on the end so we were able to spread out between 3 seats. The entire experience made us not want to fly into Portugal again."

Minusy: "Some not so friendly crew members on this flight. There was one tall, blonde flight attendant who wore so much perfume that I could taste it every time she walked down the aisle. You can't have that in an enclosed space. In this day and age of so many people having food allergies to nuts, why would you serve a dessert with almonds?? My daughter almost ate it because there was no warning label. It scares me to think what might have happened at 12,000 feet."

Minusy: "The food wasn't that appetizing. It actually gave me upset stomach for the rest of the flight. I was in the bathroom 3x during the flight and I usually don't use the restroom more than once during any given flight. I didn't like that when asking for a drink of water, they only give a half full cup of room-temperature water. On an 8 hour flight, I get dehydrated and could drink 2 water bottles alone. I don't like to be a nuisance to the attendants so I only asked for water twice. I just wish they would provide small personal bottles per customer. I also have never flown on TAP before so I wasn't aware of anything like how to call an attendant using the touch-screen or even that watching movies was free. It should be said over the intercom at the beginning of the flight."

Plusy: "I had a flight from Madrid --> Lisbon airport with a final connection from Lisbon --> NYC JFK and we were delayed in Madrid therefore arriving at boarding time of our other flight in Lisbon. The crew was so professional and prepared that when we landed in Lisbon there was a bus that brought about 25 of us who were connecting with final destination to JFK to the closest door to go through passport control and board onto our flight to JFK that they held for a good 30-45 minutes until all of us made our connection. Very professional and organized. Much appreciated that I didn't miss my final connection! Love flying TAP and will continue to do so!"

Minusy: "I cant think of anything. It's a long trip that can be tiresome. So you can tell the airline tries to make it as pleasant as possible ."
Minusy: "Lobster appetizer was dry, hard, and tough. Steak dinner was prepared nicely, but of medium- low quality meat. Announcements are not heard in headphones, which in emergency situations could be dangerous. Noise reducing headphones supplier are effective in the noise reduction function, but not high quality audio resolution, with some dialogue intelligible. Business class seat wasn't a full recline as are those of most competitors, but it was comfortable. I didn't see any snack offerings that most other airlines have available between meals."

I will never fly with them again since the service is not great and this charge made the overall cost of the trip more expensive than traveling with a better airline."

Minusy: "First, this airlines charges up to $150 for the first checked bag. They don’t even inform you of this at any moment while purchasing you ticket. You find this out when you get to the airport. Second, they charge you for everything in this flight. They say the entertainment is complementary, but you have to pay for headphones. On the shorter flights, they even charge you for water!"

Minusy: "I was ticketed on AirFrance/Delta, but I guess they are a part of Skyteam and the plane was Air Europa Old decrepit aircraft, that had years of accumulated dirt between seats and such No personal TV screens Food was as bad as it gets for the snack, though the main meal was as they all are except more frugal. Headphones were available for 3 euros- never had that occur on an international flight. I will always ask if my ticket includes Air Europa as an operator and avoid them if that is the case"

Minusy: "I booked a flight from Lisbon to JFK with a stopover in Madrid. Instead of going to JFK, my flight landed in Boston. There was no AirEuropa representative in Boston. The state police told all of the passengers that we were considered stranded and that we had to figure it out ourselves and then seek reimbursement from AirEuropa. I had to take a greyhound bus in the middle of the night to get to NYC. It's as terrible as it sounds. I am filing a complaint with AirEuropa"

Minusy: "Every flight was at least an hour delayed. We were insanely late for our connection flight due to a totally unnecessary delay at the first airport. We then SPRINTED across the whole Madrid airport and then when we arrived to second plane was TWO HOURS delayed. The staff always seemed to be working, but was completely inefficient in getting anything done. It took them 20 minutes to respond to our notice (we pressed the air attendant button on our seats) and then told us we couldn't get snacks because they were giving out pizzas, which took another hour. Every single part of our flight was delayed and inefficient... with no reason ever being given. It was pretty miserable overall and I will likely never use Air Europa ever again."
Minusy: "They changed my flight by 24 hours, without ever sending a clear email telling me so. I missed my business class flight and had to book another crooks."

Plusy: "I had heard some bad things typically associated with low-cost carriers, but that might only be on their shorter domestic/EU flights. In the bigger plane for the transatlantic flight, there was good service, two meals and drinks for free, and a decent in-flight entertainment system."

Seat assignments split us up, including our children When we were finally able to be seated together it was 3 in last row an one in 2nd to last where attendants kept bumping into seats, making noise etc. 9 year old son's monitor didn't work after we bought headset. Took many hours and multiple requests for assistance and refund. Crew left 9 year old son off of flight manifest resulting in his detainment by homeland security st JFK."
Plusy: "I was surprised by the food, and the crew was always kind, warm, and welcoming. I liked that we got two meals for our trip and that the flight was smooth. We weren't delayed at all and everything was incredibly efficient. I was really impressed for a low-cost flight."
Minusy: "My partner was really uncomfortable, as the distance between seats is pretty insufficient. I was only comfortable because I am a particularly short person. Also, it was a little disappointing that the TVs on our first flight didn't work and that there were only two TVs for the whole back cabin during the second flight. That is not the end of the world, though, and I think that even on a budget airline, seat sizes are unfortunate. Also, the timing of the movies was really strange. They couldn't fit in two movies for an 8 hour flight because they were timed poorly."
Plusy: "2 fligts with aireuropa. Both very different: first was in a vey comfortable plane with a lot of space but a poor service from flight attendants. In the second the plane was more uncomfortable, Seats were tight but service was fair. Both with no delayes and fine service at the airport."

I had a visa ans the right papers to fly and she told me i had to make a ESTA. WHEN I ALREADY HAD MY VISA!!! SHE did not know what she was doing snd i had to spent 34 dollars at the airport because an agency made it for me. When i got in madrid airport the flight attendance told me that the Esta was not necessary for me as i had a visa. So the woman in barcelona got me crazy and I spent my money i wasted my time for nothinf and i almost miss my plane!!!!! Embarassing how they can have workers like that!!!!! Terrible!!!"

We were then held for an additional 2 HOURS inside the plane–no air conditioning, no food or any refreshments until 5 minutes before we took off they offered water. They said there were "technical difficulties" but said nothing more and seemed not at all apologetic. The in flight entertainment was okay, and the food was nothing special. I don't understand how air plane food is still at the low level of quality it is. With all the products, processed foods, and variety of diets that exist, how is it that air lines haven't figured out a better system?"
