Since manufacturers adhere to airline baggage standards, no violations were found during checks. This misguided effort only resulted in publicly humiliating Swissair customers. Boarding process was pure pandemonium...this was the first time in recent memory, where all coach passengers were invited to board at the same time! Very inefficient! Crowded seating in coach,with ten passengers sandwiched in across Boeing 767 aircraft. Competing airlines flying identical aircraft have nine across seatings Thin seat cushions cause leg cramps after a few hours."

This is my sixth time traveling to Switzerland from San Francisco on Swiss....Their service in my opinion remains excellent......The cabin crew was cheerful friendly yet remained very efficient at the same time... The food was very good, , The two meals that comes with one's Ticket still also comes with complimentary beverage service .... and even a warm moist towel is offered towards the end of the flight ... not bad for a seat in coach ...."

Once we took off, drinks weren't even served until 2 hours after take-off (for a scheduled 6:15pm departure - actual was more like 7:45pm). Maybe it was due to some light turbulence along the way or something, but they should tell people that is the problem and the reason they are not serving food and drinks, if that is the case."

The crew was unwilling to help me find something else to eat and they were very rude. I am very disappointed of their customer service standards. I will not use Turkish Airlines again."

Also will this incident to all my friends after going back to USA. Very very bad experience. Sat down 24 hours at Airport without food and sleep. Mostly will file a case against Airlines."

Because of all the delays I missed a few important phone conferences regarding my business. Unprofessional service! if I was running my business the same way I had no business! Not going to do this mistake again!"

Instabul airport was the usual chaos, which does not add to the experience for transfers. Also: boarding started late and of course was not done and time and since we lost our slot we were further delayed taking off. That made the transfer time even less and the situation more stressful."

Plusy: "Sitting in a metal tube flying at 40,000 feet with 300 other personalities has its challenges. Turkish Airlines' staff managed this with excellent care. The smallest things begin to matter; the comfort of the aircraft, quality of food and drinks, the frequency and availability of service, and above all conveying the sense of safety. Every member of this company, from the staff at the counter to the flight attendants, to the pilot seem to really embrace customer service."

However the next day when I came to check in for my new flight with united. They said Turkish airline had never sent the flight transfer. This happened to many other customers. Once again we all had to run around to find help but Turkish was severely understaffed and ill prepared. Overall a terrible experience."

There is no guidance out of gate to assist passengers that transfer to get on the right gate on the right bus. In AUS, there is not any announcement for luggage belt. An announcement would be helpful to new arrivals to this airport."

She might not feel comfortable helping a senior citizen but don't be so loud or make a face of disgust."

Because I booked my ticket only hours before my flight, they said it might not be possible to fulfil my meal request since there's a 24 hours cut off. However, now I had to cone back to the airport and take the next days flight which gave the airline more than 24 hours from my original meal request. I still did not get the meal I requested, the crew didn't know about it and didn't have any to spare. This was my first time flying Lufthansa, I probably won't try it again."

Plusy: "The hospitality crew that was at SFO gave us the location of a lounge to go to which closed at 8 pm. The time they gave the location was at 8.25 pm. She was uninformed and not very highly trained. Lounge was disgusting. Messy, crowded - seemed like a 2nd class waiting room in an Indian railway station. The boarding was very poorly managed by the same lady!"

Minusy: "Lufthansa lost 6 of our bags and left us with no information or compensation. I sent them emails but there is no response from customer service. Costed us $500 to buy things on emergency basis for our family and they delivered the bags after 2 days. This was very unprofessional and Lufthansa has to pay for it. Can you please help. Next time we will certainly have to avoid The airline as their gate transfer in Frankfurt is horrible with very rude security staff who has no interest helping our family to board the flight on tight connection. Instead the person decided to go on his break right when we were at the X-ray screening. How rude and unthoughtful."

On that website I was not allowed to check in for my Lufthansa flights and i was stuck with seats I did not want in my 2 long intercontinental flights. This has happened before. Lufthansa has no option to check in online if my first flight leg is united. This is a very big drawback and also the reason I would not prefer to fly Lufthansa again. United is bringing the quality down."
