Minusy: "29 passengers were arriving in JFK from MSP, a flight that was delayed due to ground staff issues at JFK (which means that Emirates' partner airline had some issues?). Plane was delayed but we landed just in time to make the connection or so we thought. After running through the terminal, we saw our plane attached to the gate for 53 minutes(I have pictures to show) but Emirates gate staff said the flight is now closed, and didn't let us board the flight. They didn't help us rebook our next flight, or pay for hotel or transportation. And some of us couldn't fly for 2 days because they were overbooked on their future flights. And that's what really happened - Emirates was overbooked for our flight, and conveniently used the excuse that they didn't know our flight had landed in JFK (seriously), and their ground staff was totally non challent about it. They asked us to call the partner airline to rebook, who instead asked us to call Emirates. 4-6 hours of calling for most of us in the middle of the night. Emirates has social media presence on Twitter & Facebook but it's like chatting with a wall. Its 100% useless and waste of time, and I have asked them where I can send my complaint but they won't respond."

Minusy: "There were not proper announcements for delay of flight. Flight moved from gate while overheads bins doors were still open, lots of passengers were still standing, walking in the aisles. Even though I told Steward not to wake me for the meals but still I was woken up 3 times for two serving of meals."

They also serve food once and you don't get a snack or anything--you don't even see the attendants--for another 10 hours. Then they serve breakfast close to an hour before landing. The crew is constantly telling you to sit as if you weren't allowed to use the toilet at all when the seatbelt sign is on--and it's on the whole time. So you have to be asking permission to use the toilet when you are right next to the toilet door and about to go in because they don't allow you to use it. That's not healthy for someone to hold it."

Air quality descends on a long full flight, it became claustrophobic by the end. There was only an option for vegetarian-vegan, but I am not vegan. I won't do that again. My daughter's bag didn't make to SFO, even though we were early to check in."

I was wearing light jeans and a short sleeve shirt, and I was sweating all flight. Each time I asked throughout the duration of the flight, I was told it take a while for the temperature to decline. It's one thing to be uncomfortably warm on a flight; it's another thing when the flight crew lies to you. Further, I was not the only one to request that the temperature be reduced. This made an 11 hour flight particularly miserable."

Minusy: "We were scheduled for a 55 minute layover in Zurich which was not nearly enough time. Our plane was 10 minutes late in landing but our next flight was delayed 5 minutes. We had to take a bus from the plane to the terminal, go through immigration with very long lines, take a tram to our departure terminal and then run to our gate which was at the end of a very long hallway. Luckily they held the plane but it was very stressful and exhausting getting to our plane."

So, never again Norwegian--Swiss was a nice change and, in the end, I paid more or less the same :-)"

Too many carry-on bags onboard meant no space for my bag in my allocated overhead bin. The plane seemed old and the seats were small and cramped. The entertainment systems kept shutting off in the beginning of the flight, and my screen was slightly unresponsive to touch. Not the best flight experience compared with what I'm used to and expect from Turkish."

You don’t provide accommodation when people get a stopover which is disgusting considering it is an airline that is supposed to represent a developed country. This cancels out anything you feel is a plus about the airline. This needs to be sorted out."

Minusy: "A man in the business lounge took my home address and cell number and told me that I would get a complimentary ride home. But when I arrived at the Business counter at the Dulles International Airport, they informed that no such program is in place."

Minusy: "The boarding was chaotic. The space used at the gate could not cater for the number of passengers and there was no way anyone with any priority boarding status could make it to the counter. This is not new and has been a recurring problem with this flight and turkish airline does not seem to care enough to handle."

Minusy: "I have been told at the airport that I had an unconfirmed flight and was told that I could not travel to Istanbul. I am still at my departure city, in Chicago. I bought my tickets just like anybody would, go on the website, pick the flights and pay. But someone did not do their job correctly and did not correctly confirm my flight. I paid for this incompetence by missing Christmas and a business meeting. Do not think it will never happen to you, it is just a matter of time that this kind of bad service catches up to you. The system is so disconnected or careless that it can't even figure out I couldn't take the flight which it is is asking me a review for."

The chicken meal had like 2 spoons of riice thrown in . Food was very unappealing . For a flight of about 7hrs it could have been better. My flight from U S to Istanbul was perfect . Meals , service ,bathrooms all good . Please they need to improve on the African route or stay off the route ."

At Istanbul, Ataturk Airport, Turkish Airline did not provide a Visa although they gave hotel and boarding passes for next days flight. At Istanbul, Ataturk airport it was a nightmare for us, as senior citizens. Why should we buy the Visa when the flight was delayed which is no fault of ours. Of the 4 automatic e-visa machines onlyEv 1 was working and there was a long queue. In between the machine stopped working for a long time and no one was there to assist or restart. They gave our boarding passes for the next days flight and their responsibility was over. We had to wait for over an hour to get the hotel. Overall it was a bad experience."

Minusy: "There are two types of foot-rests, both are a nuisance for people with long legs. The one popping up from below one's seat is extremely hard to put back in place. The metallic one folding down from under the seat in front cannot be secured back and is always in the way if the passenger needs to stretch his/her legs. This seems to be a new appliance, and I jut wish they would do away with it altogether. More is not necessarily better."

Minusy: "The boarding process was horrible and it involved climbing down steep stairs from the air tunnel to the tarmac to board a bus that took us to a far distance where the plane was parked. Had to new walk in the sweltering heat to the plane can climb up steep stairs in the heat! We were now kept in the plane for another hour with no aircondotion. It was boiling hot in there. We had to use the safety manuals to fan ourselves. We eventually left late and got to Lagos one and half hours we were meant to get there. Lastly not all the luggage arrived. Two days into my arrival and I am yet to get all my luggage. It was truly a horrible experience which was echoed by fellow passengers."

Minusy: "We were transported to the plane which was quite some distance to the plane via bus after climbing down steep stairs from the departure gate area. Then we had to climb steep steps in extremely hot weather. We were then delayed for a hour in the plane in very hot conditions as the plane had its air conditioning off and the ground air conditioning was not put on. We were swearing in the heat for an hour!! We arrived at our destination and hour and half late!!"

Minusy: "Screen broke half way through flight. Food was poor"

Plusy: "Sometimes you get surprised, with this specific flight, we had an excellent young and perfect cabin crew. Thanks, Joon!"

Plusy: "The food was pretty good and the staff were friendly. During our transfer in Paris, my mum had a medical emergency and had to go to the medical centre. As such wr couldnt go to our final destination in Morocco and had to get our luggage off the plane. The staff at the AF counter were very helpful in that aspect. And when one of the luggages was completely damaged, it was replaced it with a brand new one which was fantastic. On the way back, we had some issues with the ticket because we didnt go to Morocco as planned which resulted in some trouble checking in. But the staff at the counter were quite helpful."

Minusy: "Disorganized uninformed staff. One says I have to have an additional "random" security check after going through the same thing in security. Turns out it wasn't random and I didn't need it. Both times they read my boarding pass wrong thought I was going to Tel Aviv - not random. Airport was hot as hell! Flight kept getting delayed then we had a gate change as well. Finally got on the plane and it took forever to take off so we were basically sitting in a sauna for 30+ minutes."

Plusy: "The crew was very comfortable speaking two languages and friendly. They also had air conditioning! This was great because it was strangely hot in Paris and we were sweating profusely. And our last air france experience we were so hot and it was aweful. Even though it was like an hour and a half flight they still served us sandwiches ,really good."

Plusy: "I have been Flying Blue platinum for six years in a row. I often wondered why I never got a complimentary upgrade... Well, I can no longer complain: I was very kindly invited to move across that curtain. Of course, in short haul (2-hours+) A321 flights, all seats are created equal, business or main cabin... But the attention was there, excellent service, and gourmet food too. The whole experience was great. I'll go on flying Air France with fewer regrets."
