Way to narrow, not enough distance to seat in front of you, seats do NOT recline enough to be able to relax & get needed rest, no footrest & way overcrowded. Although the price was good, we truly suffered on this trip."

Minusy: "I payed for emirates not fly Dubai which was low budget flight. They charged me for a coffee on the plane... not something I would expect after paying 1400 for my tickets. And no where did it say fly Dubai on my tickets, I would have gone with other alternatives if I knew like Turkish. So last time I use kayak and will not be recommending it as well. This a rating for my whole trip to kathmandu not just Dubai to Kathmandu."

Minusy: "I was taken by surprise that I could not take my SLR camera on board as carry-on luggage and had to check it (they were doing this to everyone, not just me and it covered laptops, kindles, cameras, etc - everything electronic except phones). This was not done on the flight into Dubai. Also irritating was when I got to Boston, an Emirates guy cut open the packing envelope open and in the process, accidentally sliced the camera neck strap. He was, however, very apologetic and eagerly got me the info needed to submit a claim to Emirates."

Minusy: "We have booked two tickets separately. One for me and the other for my wife and kid. But we were travelling together. When we checkin, we told we need the seats together. But, they did not give the seat together. Also, our connection time was 2 hours for the next flight. To receive the baggage in the port of entry, it took more than 1 hour 15 mins in the carousel. After that we had to clear customs, change terminal and clear security in 45 mins to catch the next flight. It was really tough for us. They could have handled the baggage little efficiently."

Minusy: "My connecting flight (booked through Emirates but operated by JetBlue) was inexplicably cancelled with 24h notice. Emirates did a good job finding me an alternative flight but somehow did not get my bags on my new flight even though the woman at the counter made a special call to "ensure" that my bags would come with me. Now I have to wait over 24h before I can get my bag."

Minusy: "The crew hardly paid attention to request. I had to ping multiple times and wait for really long time to get a glass of water. I tried to get to the back, the crew dint even move to help us with anything. They sat together and were talking and dint even care to move. I have never seen this amount of careless attitude so far in emirates. Food quality has gone down quite a bit compared to my travel before."

Plusy: "Great service, food can be improved. Stop serving pizza it is not healthy and not appropriate for half the passengers"

Minusy: "Flight was delayed, 1 of my baggage was missed and due to that connecting flight from Boston to Newark was missed. There were no more flights to Newark so I was put up in flight to JFK after 3 hours of wait."

Plusy: "Staff is very attentive and always around. I am not a fan of instant coffee, but I got a cup of coffee when I asked for one outside of "meal times". The leg room is good, though I could still use a little extra."
Minusy: "I wish the crew asked all passengers to reset their seat upright when food is served. I am quite tall and having the person in front of me recline is uncomfortable at all times, but while eating, there just isn't very much elbow room. Also the temperature in the cabin is really too cold. The entertainment system uses a two-prong plug for the headset, which requires you to bring an adapter if you want to use your own noise-blocking headset or headphones."

Plusy: "I love the fact that the crew is quite so international -- and that they all wear small flag pins to tell you where they come from! They were very good with the children -- and I loved the fact tht they came round and took polaroid photos of passengers - particularly the families!"

Minusy: "There was a group of teenagers sitting in 8 seats in two of the middle rows right next to me. They spent the whole flight climbing all over the seats and each other. They were very loud, often banging into other passenger's seats, and leaving their stuff in the aisle where people were tripping over things as they walked by. They were really inconsiderate of other passengers - many of whom were trying to sleep on a 13-hour flight. It would have been nice if the crew would have told them to be quieter and more respectful of other passengers."

Minusy: "Food was not given properly, no snacks was there which I get in between breakfast and meal every time I fly from Dubai to Boston or the reverse. No kit was given which includes brush, paste, eye covering band. Last time I travelled from Boston to Dubai the food was completely frozen and now this!"

Minusy: "Had requested for wheel chair assistance but was denied saying everyone was " too busy". When the passenger stated she cannot go without help, the flight attendant helped her out and to a bus. She almost fell while getting on to the bus. Assistance was requested because of her poor eye sight on the left eye and issues with mobility because of that. Although I'm glad nothing bad happened, denial of assistance and making her feel concerned and speak for herself for someone to help could have been avoided if Emirates could keep their promised support. Very disappointed."

Minusy: "Again the same indifferent attitude by cabin crew towards student gustes and particularly females. I was sick on the fligt despite informing crew no care was taken. I lost one of my check inn bag airline is indifferent. No help or compensation."

"The terminal on my ticket was different than the gate number. We went through security and had to take a 15 min shuttle to a different terminal. Why not just go through security there? There were also no attendants at the gate to discuss seat assignments. My husband and I didn’t have seats together. Try on board crew was great, but the airport experience was lacking."

Minusy: "We had a connection in Detroit. The flight from Seattle to Detroit arrived about 30 minutes late, and we barely made the connection. Apparently Delta had not told the Detroit-Boston flight to wait a few minutes for us. We did make the connection, but we arrived at the gate with no seat assignment (we had been bumped the day before from our original flight because of a mechanical problem) as the plane was loading. Had we missed the flight, we would have had to spend the night in Detroit and go to Boston the next day. Delta should have told the gate agent that we were coming."

Plusy: "The crew was very professional and polite, my flight attended (blond lady) was very pleasant and very professional. She should be promoter to teach others how to be professional without kiss passenger's a*s."

Also I had to pay 30 dollars to go get the next flight at 18:59hrs , which was extremely inconvenient."

The Delta rep was able to help me. The airlines provided good service. But I probably will avoid booking with Kayak again."

Minusy: "Boarding and disembarking was again slow. Must be a cultural thing as each flight in the US seems to be like this as people take ages to get their bags organised on arrival. Chaotic boarding is compounded by the back of the plane boarding last.... everywhere else in the world loads everyone together or does the back of the plane first and it's much quicker!"

Plusy: "Even though we were in the very back row, we did not experience a foul smell from the restrooms. This was a very nice relief. It is bad enough that the seats don't recline and there is no window in the very back row but prior experience with the added nausea of foul restroom order has been a serious insult to injury. In this case there was really minimal odor. Also since we are traveling as a family we are very happy that we were seated together. We have experienced the past that sometimes our seats will be fragmented and that creates major challenges when you are traveling with young children. However on this particular flight the ride was rough during both takeoff and landing, a lot of side to side shimmy. Also the cabin pressure varied quite a bit during landing causing all the kids to complain about some discomfort in their ears."

Plusy: "About 10-15 yrs ago I stopped transatlantic flights on Delta. It was a scruffy airline with uninterested cabin crew & not to talk of food etc. What a change! Neat clean A330, friendly crew & food + beverages to brag (you pay outrageous prices on 'leaner-meaner' airlines if at all available). Loved the whole experience. Flying is not only getting from A to B & Delta has realized it. Looking forward to my next Delta flight!"

Airplane food is always bad...who cares. But being trapped in uncomfortable seats with no room to shift your position for a six plus hour flight is inhumane! My son is 6'2" and his knees were literally against the back of the chair in front of him, luckily my daughter was in that seat so she didn't recline it on his knees. My back was killing me in the first hour (I'm only 5'2") my 13 year old daughter complained that her back was killing her by the end of the flight. I've never flown Lufthansa before and will never again!"

Minusy: "For the first time in decades (hundreds of flights), I've had to find the paper bag and until the very end I thought I might end up needing it. My companion did use hers, and mine (also a first in many decades). Part of the bumpiness could have been due to a weather system but the plane's movement was jerky when taxiing in Boston. BOS-MUC used to be one of my favorite routes back when it was served by the A360. The new A350 is nothing special except for the entertainment system. Ironically the large screen seemed overwhelming due to the dismal distance to the seat in front."

Plusy: "The food and frequency of service and free checked bag were among my favorite parts of the flight. Overall the flight was fantastic. I loved the camera feature that allowed you to look at the outside of the plane. The crew was so friendly and courteous."
Minusy: "The amount of entertainment available was not unappreciated, I enjoyed many of the documentaries although I wish there had been even more nature documentaries, as those are my favorite :) I did hope for a more updated selection of Hollywood movies."

Minusy: "We were in the middle at the very back of the plane. It was quite bouncy for some time during the flight. The stewardess informed us that that was typical for seats at the back of the plane. It is not easy to choose your seats when you buy the ticket online, but I would prefer a calmer location. Also I was squeezed when the person in front of me leaned back in her seat. Service was excellent, however."

Plusy: "For a direct flight between the N.E. and Frankfurt, it is one of the best."
Minusy: "As with all flights, I wish there was more room. It is tough for a 6 ft 2 inch person. I can't imagine being taller or heavier than I am and what it must be like."

Minusy: "Unorganized boarding. Back of the plane seats should be boarding first, after babies and old people. I was stopped by the people in front of the plane putting away their luggage and standing in the aisle."

Plusy: "Seats are fairly comfortable. We were delayed and missed our connection. A woman in the service center expedited finding us a new flight and getting us a good hotel."
Minusy: "Flight was delayed from Rome. They had scheduled our connection too close (55 minutes) so we missed it. No explanation for the delay was given. The food is just terrible. Might be the worst I've ever had on an airplane. The only way I could book seats ahead of flight day was to buy them - and then I didn't get them because of the delay and had to sit in the second to the last row where it was pretty bumpy."

Plusy: "Cabin attendants were terrific. Very attentive. Ms. Byrne, our cabin attendant and the Purser, a gentleman whose name I didn't note, solved problems and met our needs (including finding my wife's iPad that fell beside her seat while sleeping where it couldn't be retrieved without help)."
Minusy: "Few technical issues with new plane...no wi-fi on flight and lights not working in lavatory."

Plusy: "The food and the crew were great! We were more than 450 people on that flight."
Minusy: "My tv screen froze 3 hours into the flight so I could not watch anything. Space is so tight for such a long flight. The aircraft was a brand new Airbus and next to me there was a rip on the wall cover. I could see what is underneath...i had a slight fear that it could get bigger..I understand that the fuselage expands in the air."

Minusy: "Flights were late and boarding was caios, no one had any clue what to do. Blankets were filthy. Entertainment had limited choice. Considering I took six flights in this month, I will let it slide that they ran out of New movies. Worst part was food. Obviously, there is no quality consideration when they decide menu. Check Emirates or other similar fare bracket airlines to understand the gravity of Lufthansa food problem. If one reason I had to choose to drop Lufthansa from my future consideration then that would be worst food and drinks. I would strongly recommend that they should assign people who need additional time to board at the back of the plane. It will help them to go back of the plane faster and avoid gridlock in the middle. Another advantage is it will help other passengers leave plane faster at the end of the ride. Boarding process will be come significantly faster by filling the plane from back to front by loading passanger with children and who needs time at the first loading area at the back of the plane. Minusy: "So many things! Starting with the way assistance in the airport is offered to travellers with mobility issues! This is an important issue that needs to be revisited and changes for better service to be made!"

Minusy: "We were changed from KLM to Airiltalia without any information sent so only because I tried to check in did I find out the flight on KLM was cancelled and we were changed to Airitalia. The Airitalia flight was very mediocre."

Yet KLM prides itself as being punctual. Not the KLM that I have been flying!"

I had to wait for a small plane coming from Edinburgh then wait for it to be emptied of passengers and cleaned. This meant we were over 2 hours late into Istanbul. No explanation or apology. I then missed my next flight in Istanbul and had to purchase another ticket. I cannot believe that air passengers are treated in this way!!! I will follow this up with KLM when I go home from my holiday."

Plusy: "Of the multiple international airlines I recently flew with, I would have to say KLM was by far the best. Relaxing atmosphere, comfortable seating, great in-flight entertainment, although I have the go-go in-flight data/entertainment plan with t-mobile (highly recommended), the flight included a decent selection of movies, television programs, etc. The food far exceeded typical "airline quality," even for an international flight - and included a fabulous little snack box with locally sourced gourmet and specialty items such as chocolate from Belgium, fine cheeses from France, and crackers from England. Drinks = gratis, and crew was exceptionally attentive and went out of their way to make flight as pleasant as possible."

Minusy: "Plane was late leaving Helsinki due to broken latch, which made us late getting into Chicago. After landing we waited at least 45 minutes to get to a gate. It took at least 30 minutes to get off the plane and then getting through customs was a nightmare. Arrival board at O'Hare said plane was on time, but listed gate as 0, which of course doesn't exist so our ride home had no idea what was going on or what was taking so long and ended up waiting over three hours for us to get through everything to meet them."

Plusy: "I loved the colors of the flight.light blue and green. Gave a peaceful ambience. The flight attendants were very courteous and smiling. Especially the women flight attendants. The food was excellent. It was interesting that the flight from Helsinki to Chicago served a Indian style dinner comprising of lentils, rice and chickpeas. I liked that too, though I prefer the meditarranean fare. I liked the boarding as they were very strict about families with children and gave them priority before other passengers."
Minusy: "I did not find too many indian films which I would have liked, especially in a flight because Indian movies are 3 hours long and help to pass the time quickly :). I would have liked more variety in the Hollywood movies as well. They mostly had much older films and hardly any of the new releases while Emirates flight had lot many more new releases and oscar winning movies. They served the Indian amul cheese which is not worthy of serving on a flight, and they could have served some better cheese."

Plusy: "1)Magazine says you under need for modern communication and aiming to improve. There are no chRging ports and no internet. That would help. A little behind the times on that one, do t you think? 2) Getting gangway attached after landing appeared to be very innefficient. Thanks for trying"

The tv screen does not move out far enough to view when the person in front has their seat all the way back. Selection is limited compared to the non stop flight previous from Miami to Helsinki. There isn't an option to view the flight details in flight which is interesting to some passengers. At least have the option."

Helped me stow my banjo in a closet instead of under the plane wich really was great because of its value to me...great food and entertainment options made the trip fly by...hah....kinda freaked out by the whole black glove thing but maybe it's sexy, not sure."

Thankfully Im small but the man sitting next to me was rather tall and had to turn into a human pretzel to fit in that seat and space allotted."

Plusy: "I had an empty seat beside me on both legs of my flight. This always makes flying more enjoyable. They fed us two meals both directions. There were pillows and blankets for everyone on your seat when you arrived."

Minusy: "Nonchalant crew on the way back, I asked if they had any snacks half way into the flight as I didn't eat dinner, I went to the galley and the head of customer service heard my request, looked at me and just carried on reading his paper leaving a flight attendant to offer me a small bag of pretzels , which she had to search for. I paid extra for an exit seat that (bc the plane was so old) had cold air seeping in that even with 4 blankets on, a sweater, my jacket I was frozen the whole flight and caught a terrible cold that I have now had for a week."

Plusy: "Although I booked this as Finnair, it was actually a British Airways flight, as I knew it would be. And it was fine--I don't think Finnair gets much credit, but whatever. I'd actually have liked to travel with someone more exotic!"

Minusy: "The seats were so close that we felt like cordwood stacked vertically. There wasn't elbow roon to butter my roll without elbowing the person in the next seat. The food was boring. It was very cold, despite my dressing warmly. It was a relief to board our next flight, which was JetBlue."

Minusy: "This is 2016 and to have planes that don't have in seat screens for entertainment is ridiculous. This was over a 9 hour flight. Won't choose your airline again because of this."

Minusy: "Philadelphia airport services were terrible: - immigration processing was too long and took more than one hour dur to out of service customs machines and insufficient immigration personnel. - luggage handling at the airport careless and resulted in the breaking of some of my belongings."
