It looked to me like Swiss Air knew we were running close as the flight rarely (if ever) leaves on time. It was stressful for us and for the 30+ others who were still in line in immigration when the flight time passed. It turned out to not be a problem but the published times are unrealistic. Seats were tight and comfort in cattle class is NON Existent sleep on an 8 hour flight was not even possible."

But before that I found out I could not choose seats online for any of the Swiss Air Flights to and from Europe. It "had to be done" at the airport. Why? Never explained. I called Travis International, the agency booking the flights. Totally useless conversation resulted with no explanation."

To go from Naples to Munich and then turn around and go to Zurich before the 10 hour trip to Tampa made no sense. Lousy routing and customer service. Eidelswiss apparently is a lower-end branch of Swiss Air. My airfare was as much as and more than my other friends who flew Delta, for instance. Flights on other airlines did not take 10 hours from Zurich to Tampa. I lost the ticket receipts and could not claim anything for the items I bought to try get through the two full days without luggage, even though the airlines has a record of the claim. Outrageous!!"

So, never again Norwegian--Swiss was a nice change and, in the end, I paid more or less the same :-)"

Norwegian Airlines is the worst experience I have ever had on a plane or any mode of transportation. We were running to the terminal because they only announced that they had last call,and we were eating. When we got there, they pulled my fiancee aside to weigh her bags (mind you this is about 5 mins before the plane is about the leave). I'm waiting inside of the airway for her and they spot me and pull me back out to weigh my bag. The guy was shady, he pulled on my bag as it was on the hand scale and said it was 3 kg overweight. I told him it's not, I weighed it myself, so he weighs it again and say "sorry, I meant it is 4kg overweight" he said that it is 15 dollars per kg, unless I want to leave stuff here. I looked at him and he just stared at me until I gave him my credit card. $60!! That's ridiculous, especially considering I bought a hand weight just for this occasion. My fiancee had to pay $90!! And just to top it off, they wouldn't give her passport, she had to ask for it back. Also, if you dont purchase a food plan before hand you have to buy it on the plan. They dont even offer peanuts. This airline will nickel and dime you for everything. Better off with another airline if you are traveling abroad. You'll end up paying the same, but will have better service. Never again will I fly Norwegian"

I also found out at the Madrid airport that there was no desk to check in for Norwegian for connecting flights. This means that I had to leave, go to departures, check in, go through security, and then proceed to the gate. I fortunately had a long layover, but this process would have been impossible if I didn't have at least two hours."

Especially on a brand new planes there is no excuse, the pre ordering of food on the flight is a fine idea just ensure the all interfaces to book the flight makes this VERY clear that’s required."

Plusy: "What I liked was the cleaness of the premium cabin on the Dreamliner was a plus. Seat 5A was roomy enough for a 5'4" female. The food that was included with my fare was good but I felt like a giant because the portions were packaged in these tiny little boxes and the plastic utensils where so small that it was hard to wrap your fingers around them to eat your food. The crew was attentive and the pilot spoke clearly when giving announcements which was a plus for me because I don't hear very well inside an airplane."
Minusy: "What I didn't like was that when you requested Business Class when booking your flight and you had the option to choose Business Class and your boarding pass and receipt states, "Business Class" on it, you think you are GETTING Business Class. However, that wasn't the case. The seats in the Premium Cabin are NOT Business Class. The seats do not lay completely flat. They only reclined back to to about half way and when the passenger in front of you have their seat reclined back, you have to pull on their head rest in order to get out of your seat. But the seats did have a foot rest which reclined with your seat. So, it could have been worse. In my defense, I did not know that this airline markets itself as a premium low fare airline. Had I known, I either would have not booked the ticket and went to BA or would have less expectations."

When we got back to the airport we had unnecessary stress of finding our luggage in some unclaimed baggage office. We almost missed the flight. Norwegian staff needs to be knowledgeable about how baggage is handled."

Minusy: "First time with this airline, so didn't know what to expect. All food, including water, must be purchased. No big deal if prepared for it, but different compared to other airlines that customarily provide non-alcoholic drinks or at least cups of water on long-haul flights."
Plusy: "We landed."
Minusy: "Without updating passengers they never even said they were putting us on a shuttle bus to an unmarked white plane that was not a Norwegian Dreamliner as presented but some charter plane from Portugal. We were locked in the buses for an hour without and word or update looking at the Airbus 330. The plane was a very old version and the “premium”seats were hardly bigger than economy and we never were offered pillows, blankets, drinks until we begged for them nor any explanation. Etc. I am done, done, done with Norwegian airlines."

Minusy: "No complimentary meals Needed to pay for 1 checked luggage for an int'l flight Flight crew was unresponsive when using the on-screen flight attendant request button...unless I was purchasing something. What a rip-off!"
Plusy: "Roomy seats up front. Built for tall people."
Minusy: "My wife is 5'4" tall. She had a hard time getting comfortable because the seat "cut" into her calves. She ended up being able to modify by putting her carry on suitcase under her feet"
Plusy: "The crew was lovely. The seats were comfy. Broad movie selections. The overhead space was probably the best part."
Minusy: "The single thing that made me never want to fly this airline again was that we were not offered a single drink. Not even water. The only people allowed to have a drink were those that preordered food. I wasn't aware I needed to do that and have no problem ordering food onboard (which I did) but to be completely over looked for even a cup of WATER? It was quite humiliating to not even be looked at unless I was someone that preordered food. I just don't understand that at all. Even on a 30 min flight to Akron I get a water or soda or coffee. This was an 8 hour flight!"
Plusy: "Its more like an upgraded premium. There is lots of space. Decent value for money."
Minusy: "Seat does not recline enough to get a good sleep. Food just OK. Entertainment choice very limited. Mainly old movies that have not changed in the past three months."

Minusy: "Departure delayed nearly an hour, for a flight that is only one hour long. No compensation for delay (such as a free snack). Disorganized boarding - might be better to organize by seat-row numbers"

Minusy: "The crew had no authority in the cabin. There were two drunk men loudly laughing, talking, and cursing for the last 3 hours of our flight and the crew never did anything to quiet them down. Also the crew members were the least friendly flight crew I have ever encountered in my travels"
Plusy: "The crew was lovely and charming and attentive. The movie selection was great and well appreciated on the long flight back to the US"
Minusy: "Boarding was over three hours late. Ground crew was not forthcoming with information. Packed us into a small waiting lounge and then cleared the lounge. The ground crew looked out-of-control of the situation."
Plusy: "Friendly crew. Excellent entertainment system."
Minusy: "Delayed boarding. Poor food quality for a ridiculously high price."
