Minusy: "This was my first trip to Europe and I was a bit nervous about the experience, I've been on plenty of planes, however, about nothing like this. Norwegian Airlines is the worst experience I have ever had on a plane or any mode of transportation. We were running to the terminal because they only announced that they had last call,and we were eating. When we got there, they pulled my fiancee aside to weigh her bags (mind you this is about 5 mins before the plane is about the leave). I'm waiting inside of the airway for her and they spot me and pull me back out to weigh my bag. The guy was shady, he pulled on my bag as it was on the hand scale and said it was 3 kg overweight. I told him it's not, I weighed it myself, so he weighs it again and say "sorry, I meant it is 4kg overweight" he said that it is 15 dollars per kg, unless I want to leave stuff here. I looked at him and he just stared at me until I gave him my credit card. $60!! That's ridiculous, especially considering I bought a hand weight just for this occasion. My fiancee had to pay $90!! And just to top it off, they wouldn't give her passport, she had to ask for it back. Also, if you dont purchase a food plan before hand you have to buy it on the plan. They dont even offer peanuts. This airline will nickel and dime you for everything. Better off with another airline if you are traveling abroad. You'll end up paying the same, but will have better service. Never again will I fly Norwegian"

I also found out at the Madrid airport that there was no desk to check in for Norwegian for connecting flights. This means that I had to leave, go to departures, check in, go through security, and then proceed to the gate. I fortunately had a long layover, but this process would have been impossible if I didn't have at least two hours."

Minusy: "No WIFI on long flights (which likely have business travelers traveling in the middle of a business day) is a very big No-No in 2019. Especially on a brand new planes there is no excuse, the pre ordering of food on the flight is a fine idea just ensure the all interfaces to book the flight makes this VERY clear that’s required."

Plusy: "What I liked was the cleaness of the premium cabin on the Dreamliner was a plus. Seat 5A was roomy enough for a 5'4" female. The food that was included with my fare was good but I felt like a giant because the portions were packaged in these tiny little boxes and the plastic utensils where so small that it was hard to wrap your fingers around them to eat your food. The crew was attentive and the pilot spoke clearly when giving announcements which was a plus for me because I don't hear very well inside an airplane."
Minusy: "What I didn't like was that when you requested Business Class when booking your flight and you had the option to choose Business Class and your boarding pass and receipt states, "Business Class" on it, you think you are GETTING Business Class. However, that wasn't the case. The seats in the Premium Cabin are NOT Business Class. The seats do not lay completely flat. They only reclined back to to about half way and when the passenger in front of you have their seat reclined back, you have to pull on their head rest in order to get out of your seat. But the seats did have a foot rest which reclined with your seat. So, it could have been worse. In my defense, I did not know that this airline markets itself as a premium low fare airline. Had I known, I either would have not booked the ticket and went to BA or would have less expectations."

One barely functional male yelled at me to get behind the yellow line that I was standing on. We stood in the jetway 15 minutes while these inefficient, arrogant people continued to laugh and talk on their mobile phones."

We even asked the Norwegian staff multiple times whether we have to pick it up in Oslo; they said, 'No.' They said that it would remain at the airport. When we got back to the airport we had unnecessary stress of finding our luggage in some unclaimed baggage office. We almost missed the flight. Norwegian staff needs to be knowledgeable about how baggage is handled."

We were locked in the buses for an hour without and word or update looking at the Airbus 330. The plane was a very old version and the “premium”seats were hardly bigger than economy and we never were offered pillows, blankets, drinks until we begged for them nor any explanation. Etc. I am done, done, done with Norwegian airlines."

The only people allowed to have a drink were those that preordered food. I wasn't aware I needed to do that and have no problem ordering food onboard (which I did) but to be completely over looked for even a cup of WATER? It was quite humiliating to not even be looked at unless I was someone that preordered food. I just don't understand that at all. Even on a 30 min flight to Akron I get a water or soda or coffee. This was an 8 hour flight!"
