Minusy: "Ran out of options for dinner and could not eat the macaroni cheese they had on offer, so got 2 small packets of nuts instead...international flight running out of food options? Pretty slack. A part of the interior wall fell off onto my foot upon take off and I had to hold it in place for a while until a hostess came....doesn’t give you the best feeling when the plane starts breaking on take off. One of the male stewards was appalling towards a young mum I sat next too...too the extent of giving her dirty looks because she spilled a bit of water on the seat and then told her she had to pack everything away she was using, including the baby wipes! I stepped in and told him how this was not ok and all other staff members were helpful and he was making this Mum upset. He should not be working for such a people friendly reputable airline! Maybe Jetstar instead! Was appalled at the entire flight to be honest!"

The enclosure also protuded into my left bicep when I had my elbow resting on the arm rest. Table on my right hand side was too close to my body, and to high to reach a drink easily, I literally had to lift my whole right arm to pick up a glass."

Minusy: "Boarding at Singapore airport was shocking, as we had to wait 6 hours for our flight. Rating low to the crew mainly because of the ground staff as they were not very communicative to begin with about the explanation for our delay. Only when the passengers got a bit more vocal about wanting explanations, they started giving us a bit more information. All estimated times given for boarding the flight were incorrect by a big margin! Seemed more like they were giving shorter wait time for boarding just to please the passengers, where as they were well aware of how long the wait would be."

The starter (vermicelli) was overly salty, dry and severely undercooked. The main course was acceptable but the portion of chicken was more like side dish not main. Missing sides."

I am usually very quite and light on demands as i hardly hit call button on the seat to get any assistance, but during meal, I was asked about drink and I opted for Ginger ale. Crew said, she will get back to me and I did not hear from her for another 10 mins, then there was repeat serve of drinks and I was asked if i needed any thing and asked the same drink, but then I was asked to wait. After I had finished off my meal and ready to go to sleep, someone was bringing my drink out and I then respectfully say no to it as it was bit late after the meal and asked for water instead and did not like the look on the face of the crew member. I saw it happening with other passengers as well and was under the impression, the whole crew performance was pretty poor and SIA was not up to its high-standards as I always like to fly with them. I will look for different option next time"

Minusy: "From the moment we checked in in Singapore there was no service. Having travelled first class and Economy before with Singapore I was very disappointed with Business class. My husband and daughter were in First Class. The service was below average to say the least - more training required from check in to on board - (in Sydney the staff on the ground went above and beyond) In Singapore it was very fake and contained no sincerity. The lounge itself was also ordinary compared to others, no Amenity kits or PJs in business class - even Virgin Australia has that! I was so excited to be travelling Singapore again given past experiences but now Im not sure I will want to fly them again."

We were told in china that WE was the airline not thai international and we could not use the lounge, had no baggage allowance other than the minimum. We chose TG because it was star alliance and we are permanent lifetime gold members. There is no reason to pay a premium for TG if it is not a TG flight and we cannot use the lounge or have a low baggage limit. The check in staff noted our bags were exactly 20 kgs each and said there would be a charge of USD45 per kilo if we had exceeded that amount. This is ridiculous given that we should have the same as UA or SG."
Minusy: "I have already mentioned the false advertising and poor service in china. TG cannot tell its loyal customers it is a TG flight and then charge for TG and then say it is not a TG flight. Nothing works right in China but i hope now that we are in thailand TG will honor its normal benefits to star alliance gold and platinum members. Otherwise, we wont fly TG any more."

Plusy: "Our train from Chiang Mai was 2 hrs late. Our taxi driver sped us as fast as he could, but we had only 15 min from check in to the airplane take off. The counter personnel were so helpful in calling the gate for permission to board. We ran across the airport and made it thanks to Thai Smile staff."

Minusy: "The flight from BKK-VTE did not allow online check-in and had to check in at the airport. The line to check in had 10 people in front of me which then proceeded to take over 1.5 hours to reach the counter. then was the very last person to get on the flight - the plane then didn’t leave for another 30 minutes. Thai Smile managed to make a 1 hour flight to Vientiane turn into a 4-5 hour journey between arriving early, waiting forever in the counter check in line, then being driven to the plane and actually leaving. Bangkok Airways and Air Asia (don meaung) is the better option for this short journey."

Minusy: "I had a fracture in my leg several days prior to my trip so had to cancal all. My thai smile tickets were booked with vayama. They r the only suppliers whom declined my request for free cancaltion or even freeze our tickets."

Minusy: "Arrived to BKK international with Turkmen airlines. Found Thai Smile transfer counter in transit zone. Was refused to Thai Smile flight, was explained that they serve only customers which arrived to BKK with Thai airways. Lost my money and had to buy another ecpencieve flight from Malaysia airlines because couldn't stay in transit zone more than 12 hours and couldn't get visa on arrival. Later coldn'd find that stupid transit policy ether on Thai Smile or Kayak. If that policy in place why not publish that BEFORE people spend their money for service not provided? Very unsatisfied"

Plusy: "I flew to SukhoThai Thailand And the plane was an ART 72-500/600 propeller plane, so don't expect any entertainment on board. The flight was an hour and 5 min long and if you don't like to feel turbulence this is not the type of plane you want to take but you don't have a choice since sukhothai airport is only one runway. Other than that it was a good flight."

Apparently the bags never got on the HK flight and therefore probably won’t make it to us for a day or 2. Then while we were filling in there paper work to get our bag back, we missed our already paid shuttle bus. We then had to pay for a taxi, which was 4 Times the price..."

There was no vegetarian food option, blink and you missed the drink service, the plane was quite old stock but comfortable enough. Boarding wad a little confusing - multiple flights called to the same gate at the same time and not particularly good signage about what do when you got there. Having said that, the staff were be mentally polite and tried to be helpful and that they attempted any kind of service on the 40min flight from Bangkok to Siem Reap was laudable. Still better than some experiences I've had on Ryanair or Eurowings in Europe."

Certainly for the super budget minded a good value maybe but I won't be traveling with them anytime soon. crew kept asking me to remove my noise canceling headphones. No airline has ever asked me to coz duh that's their purpose!"

Only next morning, when I woke up 5 am for getting my flight, I finally had the confirmation. Could never get it before I went to bed 1.30 but - but they could confirm the payment was done alright! Hurray! Never booking with Momondo/Kiwi again."

Then wait for the previous minibus's crowd to clear then walk another flight of stairs up the plane :( I can accept this from a budget airline but not a commercial airline at a usual well-equipped airport especially when it's at its own home country."

Minusy: "I found it a bit odd that there were programs available from Bangkok to Vientiane, but no headphones to listen. I guess it improved my lipreading skills though ;)"

Plusy: "Business class on this short haul flight was fantastic, but sadly I don’t think this is the normal route it will take as I think they were testing it. If you can get one of these on long haul they are a very nice plane, individual compartments and some very modern touches. Windows darken without blinds, loads of space in your compartment and food was good even as just a snack."
Minusy: "I can’t think of anything I didn’t like and if Thai Air have these rolling out for long haul I’ll definitely look at them against"

Minusy: "Food was not good, also they served dinner at 5 pm which was very early for me. I had late lunch at 1:30 and was not expecting dinner at 5 pm. I did not feel hungry and so refused the meal. Unfortunately they served only a cup cake later in the evening. It was a 6 hour flight, thus a small cup cake late in the evening did not suffice."

Plusy: "I've flown with Turkish airlines a few times and compared to other airlines they are amazing. Even on short distance flight (1 hour flights) the offer a sandwich and drinks. If there are delays the pilot explains what's happening instead of leaving us clueless."

Minusy: "They cancelled my returning flight WITHOUT me knowing and expecting me to pay for the penalty fee for misisng the first flight even tho I DID not cancel the returning flight which obviously I was gonna take. The staff was RUDE and INSENSITIVE. Qatar was better in overall customer service. Worst customer service from Turkish airline."

On my flight to Ghana the attendants were so gentle and provided a lot of ammenities. Oh and the hotel was an amazing experience and respite especially after the run-around at the airport. Thank you"
Minusy: "I did not enjoy the run-around I was given in trying to find the hotel desk. “50 meters then turn left” was the anthem. All someone had to say was go outside the airport and you’ll find the hotel desk! Hehe thank you Turkish Airlines however! Thank you."

Minusy: "I had a fever and requsted bottled water to keep with me and sip as I needed. The crew was unwilling to process my request and would only give a cup at a time!"

Minusy: "Stuck in Istanbul airport for three days because of snow. The way the airline handled it was APPALLING. Second night stood in line for a hotel for over four hours only to find out at 3am that there weren't any more. And none of that captures the insanity of being sent to a transfer desk with no way out except buying a Turkish visa and going through immigration. Inexcusable. I have traveled to over 40 countries in the past 30+ years and this was beyond the pale, absolutely a nightmare, and almost all of it (excepting the actual snow delay) in the airline's control. NEVER FLY THIS AIRLINE THROUGH ISTANBUL."

Minusy: "Just don't do it. I've never been so mistreated. Everyone I met at the Istanbul airport who flew on Turkish was miserable and angry because of the way they were being treated."

More leg room needed for Americans & Europeans above average height. Larger water bottles should be passed out before sleeping hours. Each passenger needs a personal fan. Temperature was too warm. Gate agents in Istanbul had a very confusing set-up to get on plane. Gate agents not empowered to help passengers with all issues that arise. We left item at gate in Catania, & gate agent unable to offer any help or detailed guidance to help us work to get it back."
