Air canada had no crew on the ground and over and hour wait for customer service on the phone so i had no way to find out what my reticketing status was. I was passed off to numerous other airlines and sent through the airport to the incorrect terminals in heathrow causing another missed flight. Air canada did not accept the responsibility to maintain my reservation and get me to my destination efficiently. Even when I spoke with a phone representative the person was rude and never sent confirmation of my flights so I had no reference point for flight numbers or air lines. All of his added up to more than 13 hours of delays on what was already a 24 hour trip. Worst travel experience of my life."

On an average these days most people in Canada are tall and above the height of 5’7 feet. I didn’t like how seats are small and have less space for legs and plus the next person to me keep disturbing me cuz he was as tall as me and we both hardly fit in the seat. I am only 6 feet and slim and still had issues. I mean for domestic flight that’s only two hours I can manage sitting in a uncomfortable position but if it was a long flight then i would definitely not be happy and won’t fly with Air Canada again."

I am not a tech savvy person, as I am sure a lot of others are not either, and I got barely any help to show me how the heck to do all of that! Unacceptable!! And to top everything off, an item was stolen out of my daughter's suitcase somewhere along the way!! Replacing it cost me about $40!!!"

After security I had to go to the gate of a delayed flight to San Francisco and ask that they put me back on my original itinerary"

While I do not want to see the price go back up, I do think United needs to figure out a way to handle the check-in process for those with basic economy tickets without forcing them to stand in a line with those checking bags. it slows down the check in process for everyone, including those at normal priced fares."
Minusy: "No one told us at the gate I was told to go to included on my ticket that it had been changed. I almost missed my flight if I had not asked an assistant at another gate. Then when I got to the correct gate I asked that assistant why there was no announcement of the change. He proceeded to tell me I didn't need to yell at him. That was unprofessional, disrepectful, and bottom line rudeness."

So I hade meeting with singing contract in the morning, I was late contract cancelled and I lose my money..... The company did not any compensation. I'm so Negative, negative, about this company, not recommended will never have again"

Most of the plane had boarded before I had a ticket in my hand. The agent was rude as she could be because I didn't understand how that's possible for me not to have a seat. I think that it's absolutely ridiculous that it's even possible to over sale a plane since there's obviously only a certain number of seats. I think it's ridiculous that people have to offer up their seat and take another flight, I chose a flight time because that's when I wanted to leave and get to where I was going for a reason. No other industry is allowed to treat their customers this way so why does the airline industry do it? Also there's no tv or movies for us to watch while in a 4 hour flight."

Minusy: "Entertainment system did not function properly. Seat cushions were worn out. The customer service representative was not able to complete my check in for the international segment."
Minusy: "Three rolling delays in departure, and we landed the ground crew couldn't find stairs for us to deplane. Waited 30-minutes til we finally used the plane's stairs. Sigh- just makes one wonder about their commitment to getting flight ops right..."

Minusy: "Sitting next to a larger gentleman which boxed out my own personal space. Having to stow my suitbag in an overhead bin several rows behind me."
Minusy: "The man who reprinted my boarding pass after I had left no e at security was extremely rude. I also found it ridiculous that I was charged to check my bag at the gate because it was about a half inch longer than the bin. Yes I understand there are size limits on carry on luggage but the plane was not even half full and the bag was clearly a standard carry on size. If anything, I should have been permitted to gate check the bag."
Plusy: "The plane was clean, comfortable and seemed to have a bit more room. The staff was professional and courteous."
Minusy: "The plane was 2hrs delayed but that was due to weather. The food was over priced and not good."

Minusy: "The drink and snack cart taking forever and causing a line ahead or behind it for the restroom."

Minusy: "Plane was full. Legroom poor, as I am 6'2". But I was give an isle seat as requested , so able to stretch a little."

Minusy: "Won't let you check in in advance so they can give you a terrible seat for a 12 hour flight. They won't even let you check in from the point of departure if it's with one of their partners. They also will do everything in their power to not give award miles to pattern airline clubs. It doesn't matter if you give them your United number and even register your United number with the flight for United. They will apply it to the Lufthansa Club and pretend it was just in the state and never actually give you the miles no matter how many times you try. This is not from one experience with Lufthansa / Austrian. I've had this experience many times with every flight I take with these terrible Airlines. I would never fly lifthansa unless it's at least $200 cheaper than any of their competitors."
Plusy: "Original flight delayed. They bumped me to the earlier flight which was available cuz it was delayed also. That allowed me to make my connection but I got there about the same time as the later flight should have. The hour-long wait on the tarmac made the flight memorable."
Plusy: "Airline staff was very friendly."
Minusy: "The temperature in the cabin was almost unbearably hot throughout the entire flight. And to give some perspective: I'm someone who is usually always cold on airplanes and typically not a fan of a/c. And I wore shorts & a t-shirt on the plane which I was nervous about doing because like I said, I'm always cold, but thank goodness I did for that flight."
Plusy: "I was glad to see that the security check line was moving quickly. Sacramento is usually my go to airport when in northern California because it's so much easier to get to where you need to in a timely fashion too."
Plusy: "The price was awesome. The crew was attentive. Five hour or more flights deserves more than a bag of pretzels with only 5 pretzels in the bag. The flight also needs more technology, wifi, movies and televisions."
Minusy: "The lack or technology and the limited snacks."
Plusy: "that they warned me the plane was extra small and checked my carry-on at the gate for free."
Minusy: "that they didn't really advertise how small of a plane I would be flying. I guess you're supposed to research every plane before purchasing tickets now."
Plusy: "Nothing at all Delta is very reliable the people that work for Delta are very nice the people that work for United have a lot to learn they need training learn how to talk to passengers I was called a third-grader just because I didn't know where my seat was very irritating"
Minusy: "Nothing whatsoever I would never fly United ever again not when there's Delta Delta is very friendly United is not friendly at all the people are very rude it seems like they don't want to mess with nobody this is a very big mess"
