Airplane food is always bad...who cares. But being trapped in uncomfortable seats with no room to shift your position for a six plus hour flight is inhumane! My son is 6'2" and his knees were literally against the back of the chair in front of him, luckily my daughter was in that seat so she didn't recline it on his knees. My back was killing me in the first hour (I'm only 5'2") my 13 year old daughter complained that her back was killing her by the end of the flight. I've never flown Lufthansa before and will never again!"

Also, you guys are German, can't we at least board by rows?"

My companion did use hers, and mine (also a first in many decades). Part of the bumpiness could have been due to a weather system but the plane's movement was jerky when taxiing in Boston. BOS-MUC used to be one of my favorite routes back when it was served by the A360. The new A350 is nothing special except for the entertainment system. Ironically the large screen seemed overwhelming due to the dismal distance to the seat in front."

Minusy: "We were in the middle at the very back of the plane. It was quite bouncy for some time during the flight. The stewardess informed us that that was typical for seats at the back of the plane. It is not easy to choose your seats when you buy the ticket online, but I would prefer a calmer location. Also I was squeezed when the person in front of me leaned back in her seat. Service was excellent, however."

Considering I took six flights in this month, I will let it slide that they ran out of New movies. Worst part was food. Obviously, there is no quality consideration when they decide menu. Check Emirates or other similar fare bracket airlines to understand the gravity of Lufthansa food problem. If one reason I had to choose to drop Lufthansa from my future consideration then that would be worst food and drinks. I would strongly recommend that they should assign people who need additional time to board at the back of the plane. It will help them to go back of the plane faster and avoid gridlock in the middle. Another advantage is it will help other passengers leave plane faster at the end of the ride. Boarding process will be come significantly faster by filling the plane from back to front by loading passanger with children and who needs time at the first loading area at the back of the plane. Minusy: "They misplaced my oversized luggage even after I paid the overpriced $100 fee (87 euro cash only) for a 2nd checked bag. It was not defined by weight or size, but a straight fee of $100 for any kind of extra bag"

Plusy: "The 747 is a big plane. Each seat had a full entertainment system in the back of the seat ahead. Seats actually reclined! Cannot recommend cabin crew highly enough. Efficient, polite, professional."
Minusy: "I cannot understand why any airline continues to board forward to aft, forcing people with just a backpack to stack up behind others, allowed to bring obscenely over-sized carry-on bags, wrestling to get their sea chests into the overhead bins. Seat upholstery could have been better for such a long flight. I have "asnahtfuL" permanently embossed on my butt. 747 is an aging craft and this plane had disappointing response to turbulence."

Minusy: "The connecting times between the flights was very tight. Especially as the line for the passport check in Frankfurt was so long. And then the gate was so far away. A mad dash. Stressful."

Minusy: "i could bring checked baggage from Bos-fra, fra-cdg, cdg-fra but it was taken from me on fra-bos flight as being too big! bag came out very late on baggage claim food was poor, they ran out of food, it was served late in my section and there was no choice left. one option only which i could not eat."

Fortunately the pilot made up for the delay (probably costing the airline thousands in fuel). It seems these days that every KLM flight I take is delayed. This stretch goes back to 2015! Yet KLM prides itself as being punctual. Not the KLM that I have been flying!"
