Plusy: "Fly attendants have no knowledge of hospitality. They arguing with customers and refusing to assist, blaming on company policies. My friends were assigned seats next to a toilet. No folding options. One of our friends has a back pain problems and got stuck for 5 hours. There were seats available upfront and Manager Gina could simply change our seats instead of dry “there is nothing I can do” I am not recommending this airline."

She said to borrow from a neighbor which I thought was rude. We don’t know our neighbors. If a flight requires filling out a form, they should provide enough pens to do so."

I dont! asked them" pointing out to other crew members, -this is the best part- the female stewardess had clearly visibly a pen in her front shirt pocket! Sitting around and trying to kill time and no pen still. While busy with food and other stuff, i fell asleep. Then after a while when going to the restroom i asked the male steward if he would have a pen please, he pointed out they dont have any pens. ( please note he marked on his check board, who is getting which meal on the first class)"

Also, my seat was is row 16 and was called a “premium” seat and I was charged an extra $24 for it. I did not find it any different than all the seats around me. What was the extra charge for?"

Minusy: "Frankfurt is just an awful airport. Too many landings and not enough infrastructure. Also tired of planes having to park thousands of yards from the terminal. The time to get the bag is as long as the flight. Each about 55 minutes. There is very little about German efficiency here."

It was a large selection of movies with very explicit sexual content. I didn't travel with kids but I was thinking what I would've done if my kids were seated next to a person like I did who was watching this kind of movies.."

Minusy: "I missed my Lufthansa flight due to being parked away from the Frankfurt airport which caused us to be late, which caused me to be late to my already closely booked connecting flight. That was extremely inconvenient. Lufthansa was amazing at getting me a same day rebooking, but the UA plane I was booked on was a little older. I was already a bit sick with a head cold and the heating element was very dry heat.. it made everyone pretty miserable on the flight. I was a bit disappointed to have to be rescheduled off of Lufthansa."

Minusy: "The ticketing when purchasing a ticket from NEW YORK is very unclear and even though we wanted a JFK ticket, the NEW YORK search showed a ticket for NEWARK NJ so my step dad ended up going to the JFK airport - An elderly man who has trouble with English and no one was willing to help him to rebook his ticket. Not only that - the Lufthansa people VOIDED his entire ticket including the second leg because the agency wasn't picking up for a rebooking so the entire ticket cost was lost - $1200 - GONE! We couldn't even get him a one way ticket so he could use the return part of the one he bought. This is an absolute customer service disaster. This man lost all his money, he saves up all year to go see his family. That's an ugly way to take advantage of people."

Minusy: "Food was awful. Muslim meals were gross. Need to find a new vendor in Germany. Breakfast was very poor. We were starving when we got to Washington. No snacks were provided. I would prefer a seafood or vegetarian option. Bathroom were filthy. For such a long flight there has to be a backup for dirty bathrooms"

"This was a code share operated by United with a 787. Don't care for the herringbone 2-2-2 seating in business, many other carriers have gone to a 1-2-1 which is better. Food wasn't much better than economy but what really counts is lie flat seats."

When I boarded the overhead luggage was full could not find space to secure my bags. The flight attendant was very rude did not assist me and made me wait. Other people traveling without luggage pushed me to pass by. I was told not very nice things. The flight was overbooked and overall horible experience."

While servis time we ordered whisky with cola and after one hour we went to ask for one more cause we wanted and CA told us they dont serve anymore whisky only wine or beer. Besides this things when I came to plane my sit and table tray was dirty so we had to put blanket over... for the first time I write bad feedback but I have to cause it was terrible.."

The amount of snacks was limited where’s in Turkish airlines it’s unlimited and you can choose different sandwiches whereas in Austrian airilines can offer biscuits and Cookies ;( Thirdly . We are living in 21 century and most transatlantic airlines have WiFi ! Where’s Austrian did not have it!"

Eventho I have marked it on my ticket I need kosher food it wasn't available. It is upsetting. It would be a must at every company, regardless of the service to have name tags for the employees!!! Mostly the flight attendants were kind, but as soon as i asked for something it seemed like they don't want to help or work at all. I understand I have traveled on the economy class but shouldn't make a difference how you treat the travelers. The pillows were dirty!!!!! Not only one, because I have asked for more......most of them! It is disgusting! Something must have been wrong with the headphones because the volume was on max when i tried to watch the move but barely could hear anything. I have flew with Lufthansa most of the time and in the future will chose them. Very disappointing that sooo many little things are interrupting a vacation."

Minusy: "As I was flying from London Heathrow back to Vienna, I had a carry-on that was allowed on my flight with Austrian from Vienna to London. My carry-on weighed 8 kg, like is required by the rules. While boarding my flight, the woman at the counter told me my bag had to be checked because there were too many carry-ons on the flight. I asked her that I keep my bag because I had medication in there, and she didn't listen to me at all. She just kept repeating that i have to check my bag, and then took my bag from me and gave it to the baggage crew there. I didn't want to make a huge scene because the flight is only 2 hours and I hoped i Could deal without my medication during that time, but I found it incredibly, incredibly rude and awful to not listen to a passenger."

The baggage policy was not clear when I purchased my ticket, and I was charged an additional 30 Euros upon boarding to check a bag that met the carry-on size requirements (I had looked this up ahead of time), but because it was in addition to my purse (which fit under the seat), I was forced to pay to check it. Had I been aware that this ticket only permitted a purse-sized carry-on when purchasing the ticket, I would have selected a different ticket/carrier entirely. What was even more confusing was that I had flown on a similar ticket from London to Vienna, and didn't have any issue bringing a carry-on and a purse, so of course I was surprised when they told me I had to pay an additional 30Euro for the same two bags! When I tried to explain this to the agent, she argued with me and was very unhelpful. Overall, a very negative experience on Austrian Air. I will not be returning."

Plusy: "The crew was fantastic! Our needs were constantly being met and just about the time you thought you might want a snack or a meal, the attendants were already heading down the aisle. Because of an allergic reaction, I asked for ice a number of times and the attendants were more than happy to meet my needs."
Minusy: "The seats were very close together. The trip from New York to Amsterdam seemed a lot more comfortable than the return flight. The food from NYC JFK was better than the food from Amsterdam. The movie selection on both flights was a little disappointing."

Minusy: "Our total flight time was about 17 hours - MAD- AMS-LAX. My husband and I both have an internationally approved carry on luggages with us. When we checked in - they asked us to both check in our carry on luggage. The reason why is because they said they don’t think they have enough space for our carry ons. I told the crew member checking us in that other people that was checking in with the same hand carry size luggage with us had no problems taking it with them. For being about to be on a 17 HOUR FLIGHT we should be ALLOWED to have our carry ons with us! We take carry ons for that reason! I had to argue and prove my case to the crew member to atleast keep 1 carry on with us. I thought that was an UNACCEPTABLE reason for us to check in a carry on luggage when we had a 17 hour travel time ahead of us. Not a happy costumer here."

Minusy: "Delay can occur sometimes but it wiuld be better to be explained its reason and the estimated time for boarding. The customer service at CDG airport was the worst ever and all people standing boarding desk were useless without any mind what they are doing."

I was not informed when I booked the ticket that when you transit through 2 schengen countries, you need a transit document. I was informed about it at then airport. Not only did I miss my flight, I had to book for the next day at a outrageous price. SUPER BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE...BOTH KAYAK and PRICELINE. Will never recommend you guys to anyone."

He could have just politely told me there was nothing available. Not looking forward to my return flight"

The gate staff and flight crew identified him and allowed us special bordering that facilitated the process. That act of kindness is a rare experience on our part. Thank you Air France staff!"
