It was not a big deal but I did not appreciate being offered something and then no follow up. Next time do not offer something and then not follow through."

There should be a better alternative for people who miss their flights than forcing them to pay a lump sum that is higher than the original ticket price in order to reschedule their ticket. Moral of the story: BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN YOU BUY THROUGH KAYAK OR SIMILAR AGENCIES, BECAUSE THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ATROCIOUS."

I was not only charged an additional $100 for my second checked bag, but I was also charged $200 for the extra weight. As a college student traveling abroad for 6 months, I did not expect to be bombarded with these fees at the beginning of my journey. Due to this experience, I would like to have been notified ahead of time of the expected charges as it made me uneasy before a long flight."

Minusy: "Little carry on baggage room. At least 50% of everyone's carry-on baggage could not fit on the aircraft."
Minusy: "Basic travel, if you’re in the US, similar to what you’d find on Southwest. Bare bones but it’ll get you there."
Minusy: "Food was pretty atrocious. Before having this flight I tried many times to book a special meal but their website is nearly impossible to use. So on the flight I was given two options of fish or mexican beef. Mexican beef meant slow cooked beef in a salty brown sauce with 2 kidney beans. Yes 2 kidney beans. With potatoes carrots and broccoli. Entertainment was pretty lacking. Not a lot of options. Also it was freezing the entire flight."
Plusy: "SAS handles their business very professionally. Entertainment is great, purchasing seats with extra room is affordable. Reliable service."
Minusy: "Seats are extremely uncomfortable, especially for an 8+ hour flight."

Had to figure everything out myself and couldn't get another flight till the next day and was stuck in the airport for 8 plus hours trying to find answers. I will never book an SAS flight again."

Minusy: "Seats are too small and dont recline for an 8 hour flight. You feel like an animal in a cage. No choice for dinner and no snacks between dinner and breakfast."

Plusy: "Seats are pretty comfortably and spacious for economy class (I’m small though, so take that with a grain of salt). The lunch was pretty solid, would have preferred a hot breakfast. The vegetarian breakfast was grilled veggies with fruit and yogurt on the side, kind of a mish-mash of things."
Minusy: "- Would have liked a better breakfast - More entertainment with subtitles (esp foreign films) - More entertainment selection"
Plusy: "Everything about the flight was wonderful except baggage claim, in BOTH directions."
Minusy: "It could have been the perfect trip, but I am not sure why SAS baggage handling is so mediocre. In both the flights from EWR to OSLO and back, every aspect of the trip was super, except for the wait for baggage. In Oslo, I estimate having waited at least a half an hour at the carousel before the bags started showing up, and the same in Newark. We had long cleared Immigration, which normally is not a speedy process, and yet still had to wait at least 20 minutes for the FIRST bag to appear on the carousel. Most annoying, particularly after a relatively long flight, and especially for transfer passengers who needed to recheck their bags to continue to other destinations."
Minusy: "How possible with any criteria could charge 33€ for 1.5 such exagerate no good company at all .."
Plusy: "Really appreciated how helpful everyone was, from check-in at Newark to arrival. The entertainment system worked well, too. Aside from the two issues I describe below, SAS seems to be extremely efficient and well-run."
Minusy: "There was some mix-up - not sure where - but I did requested a vegetarian meal and it wasn't in the system. I'd also requested an aisle seat due to a hip issue and was told I'd have one - but when I went to check in, I'd been put in a center seat in a bulkhead. I was able to change but it was the last row of the plane. We the gate they were able to move me up at the last minute - but this all could've been much easier."
Minusy: "The crew passed by me TWICE while serving food and I was not sleeping at that time. I had to go and ask for food myself. Also there was a delay about 40 minutes when taking off in CPH (CPH-EWR) because of a fuel-screen malfunction or smth. The pilot was very nice and kept us informed all the time. I still didn't make my connection flight due to the delay and SAS rebooked me which made my already long trip 8 hrs longer."
Plusy: "The crew was ok"
Minusy: "Business seats the worst I have ever tried, it was like laying in a coffin. Food average considering it was in business class.iFE glitchy and a small selection of movies."
Minusy: "The seats were far too narrow. At least I could put both feet under the seat in front of me!"

Minusy: "When I checked in I was told I had no bag allowance and had to pay 70 euro to check my bag. I feel like this was very sketchy on kyaak's part since it must have been on the fine print. I will be more cautious next time. Sas was otherwise fine."
Minusy: "We paid over $75 for each piece of checked luggage. We could have saved 40% by pre-purchase but were not warned when purchasing our flights for almost the same price as the cost of the luggage."

Plusy: "The pilots were excellent : smooth takeoff and landing. The plane seemed a bit shaky at times in the air; perhaps it was windy, although the skies were clear. Good food; good stewardesses. Entertainment had very good movie choices and games."
Minusy: "The side lights never were turned off, so it was hard to go to sleep. On a long overseas flight, there should be some down time. It was dark outside part of the time, but never dark inside the plane. The leg room is also a bit cramped for tall people."
Plusy: "After completely checking in, boarding, seating and sitting on the tarmac for 25 minutes, we were told something was wrong and had to get off and wait for a new plane."
Minusy: "Flight was 4 hours delayed, we could not leave the airplane every passanger just could have one water during the waiting time When finally arrived in Copenhagen i missed my last connections for the night and the airline wasnt helpful at all!"

Minusy: "We did not get food in this flight, it was not necessary because it was only a 1h 25m flight, so I cannot rate it."
Minusy: "We were delayed and not updated for an hour and a half with no water or refreshments on the aircraft, which is crazy!"
Minusy: "instead of cophenhagen to boston, i was re-routed copenhagen to gothenburg to munich to frankfurt to boston.... the cancelled flight was on july 6 2016; i arrived home more than 24 hours behind plan i spent at least 5-6 hours in lines, went thru security 4 times....."
Plusy: "My flight was changed to a different airline by SAS to delta. Cannot comment on flight from Nice to ORD. The flight from ORD to nice on SAS was good."
Minusy: "I was not informed of flight change until I went to the airport that morning. Had to rush from SAS terminal to delta terminal to check in on time. If I had received an e-mail, I would have been better prepared."
Plusy: "The flight attendants were friendly, the seats were very comfortable, and the lunch was good. The movie selection was great!"
Minusy: "I wished the dinner was a little more substantial. It felt more like a snack than a meal."
Minusy: "We were delayed before boarding, then delayed again upon landing. Hence, we missed our connection and had to fly to Copenhagen and not arrive in Helsinki until after midnight."
Plusy: "Offers nothing over the worst airline in US. Small space, uncomfortable seats. No head rest. No entertainment , no seat charger. One bathroom for entire full flight. I wrote these here to leave room on other section to write what I really did not like. Having seen European airline, I am going to embrace our own airlines in good old USA with warmth"
Minusy: "They wanted to charge us for two small carry one weighing 12.5 kilos each since we had not maked on purchase time that we had luggage to check in. Some $ 75 each. I do not remember online purchase page having any section to make down the luggage at the time of purchase. On the flight we were in hot plane for 1/2 hour with no air conditioning dehydrated only to find out that our dring water allowance was 2/3 of a small plastics cup. Yes, believe it. It is the truth. They will refil hot tea once or twice but no cold water. One much purchase if they like which was not so cheap. Attendant said they have limited cold drinking water allowance on board for reason. I am thinking , I guess , it would have made the plane weighed too much. Stingy airline like the others in Europe such as AirBerlin. I get the feeling that Americans are at this disadvantage and not swedes since we saw many other passengers carying carryon the same size as us."

Minusy: "only allow one 6 oz water, asked us to buy after it. it is ridiculous. senior attendant had bad attitude. the chairs are uncomfortable in this old aircraft."

Minusy: "Extremely small space between seats. This is the worst I've experienced in 50+ years of flying. I thought I had purchased an upgraded seat for these flights but was seated in the lowest end coach seats. Of I find I was not seated properly, I will demand a refund."
