Plusy: "Flight was in schedule, friendly staff"

Plusy: "Great staff, good meals, snacks, and drinks thru the entire flight. Good movie selections."

Plusy: "Nothing, we never got to go on our flight to Vienna. The only good thing is the manager, Servando, found us an alternative route after some delay. Even then, we had to haggle and really fight for fair treatment for a mistake that was 100% the airline's fault."
Minusy: "Our seats were involuntarily given away by the airport staff. We were never notified until we were scanning our tickets to board in. At that time, we had already checked in and received our boarding passes, as well as checking in 3 bags while we were traveling with a large group. There was no way we wanted to volunteer our seats, especially since we had a transfer flight to catch. We clearly stated we did NOT want to volunteer our seats at the ticket counter. No staff notified us until we were about to get on the plane to board. The flight supervisor was very rude and unprofessional, offering us no alternative solutions. I was really disappointed with such a grievous mistake by the airline, and I would not recommend flying Austrian Airlines unless it was absolutely the only airline available. They need to fix their processes for authorizing when they volunteer a passenger's seat. This caused our group a lot of stress and almost became a logistical nightmare."

It seems that LH has these problems regularly, and they don't seem to care; I guess we'll have to try someone else to avoid suffering the same problem every time. The employees already knew the luggages are in a mess, and so were the claims. When taking LH, we have to accommodate luggage delay into our planning."

Minusy: "That was the most uncomfortable flight I have had. It was hard fora short flight, though sitting so close to another passenger, side and front was stressful. Plus, my back was killing me by the end of the short flight- and the long flight from Europe to the US was hard. It was pretty much knocking elbows with the passenger next to me when eating. And mind you- no passenger in my row as any larger than the average person. The seat recline was fine and marginally helpful in relieving back strain- except it did put you in the lap of the passenger behind you. The passenger across the aisle from me shoved the seat in front of her and told the passenger in front of her he could NOT recline. The passenger next to her (I assume her husband) joined in with the shoving. I finally felt a need to intervene and calm them down as it began to escalate- and I did want the flight to continue. Note- while I think the passengers shoving the seat were a bit rude- the crowded nature of the seating with the recline was hard, so I understand. But the person in front had a reason (and a NEED given the discomfort) to lean his seat back. The seats were simply too uncomfortable to keep them upright. I helped them find a recline for both passengers that was reasonably okay. I also tried to get my recline somewhere between comfortable for me (impossible) and reasonable in space for the person behind me, This is an airline problem. And when people wonder about the rise in passenger rage... this cramming in is it. I had to use Austrian because of a last minute need to book a flight- given the inability to relax even a little and the residual back and leg pain ... thus my ability to immediately jump into work during a busy work and travel schedule means that I will definitely not take this airline again. If you are shorter than 5' 5 and weigh about 100 lbs- this might be okay. Otherwise, expect to be a lot of rats shoved in a cage."

Minusy: "My girlfriend were scheduled to come back from Marrakech together (albeit on separate reservations), however KLM could not find her reservation in their system and would not let her on the plane. I had to leave her behind in Marrakech. KLM had the audacity to ask her to purchase another ticket, even though she clearly had a valid reservation (how else would she had gotten to Marrakech in the first place?). After arguing with KLM for many hours, they finally booked her on a flight the following day, but refused to put her up in a hotel for the night, or compensate her for the trouble. Completely irresponsible behaviour from KLM. Will never fly with them again."

Despite flying to the US, attendants consistently only spoke German to me and my wife, did not speak on both German and English."

I was then told that I should be looking for Eurowings. Not a problem except that it is very unclear where their check in desk was. I stood around for 20 minutes asking anyone who would help me where the desk was. We were finally notified at 8:40 that eurowings was the last desk in the aisle."

Minusy: "When I booked the itinerary clearly stated that this would be a Swiss Air flight. We were confused when they did not give us our boarding passing for our connecting flight at our original departure desk, and were told we would receive the boarding passes at the gate in Zurich. I never received any notice about his being a Eurowings flight or instructions to check in online. Our incoming flight to Zurich was delayed at least a half hour and it took us a while to get to the gate for our connecting flight. When we arrived, the gate had just been closed and we were told we were not even on the ledger. We were told we would have needed to get our boarding passes at the Swiss Sor desk and required prior check in to be on the passenger list. We were also very confused about the fact that this was a eurowings fight even though our booking indicated Swiss. This has never happened to us before. We would have needed additional instructions for prior check in, and had we been on the passenger list perhaps the plane would have waited for us."

Minusy: "EW lost my suitcase in transit in Duesseldorf. Suitcase arrived in Berlin on next flight but then didn't get delivered until 24+ hours later. Hard to reach both EW and delivery service. Due to the delay and further travel plans the next day, I had to buy new clothes in Berlin to have something to wear."

Frankly I've had more help from airlines in the least developed parts of the world. Lufthansa Group.... you must be joking."

We were not even allowed to board the plane the regular way.They made us go out on the tarmac, walk around the airplane, and climb stairs to the plane with our carry-on bags...all under the rain! Personally, I've never seen this on any flight to the US, and 'm too old for that. Only the business class passengers were allowed to board the plane through the walkway. They charge for earphones, access to the entertainment (music/films, etc.), for coffee...and the food was not sufficient. My ticket cost aprox. $1000 from Cologne to Miami. I should have been able to get free coffee for that amount :)"

Lastly, the heathrow onboarding agent for the 8:05am Eurowings flight 5357 arbitrarily selected my travel bag as too large to carry on. He then became belligerent when I questioned him even threatening removing me from the flight. WTF?!"

We was kept informed all the way as take off was perfect, and the landing at London Luton was the best have ever had as you normally land land then get an extra hard heavy jerk to slow us down extra hard braking. The Pilots of W6 4503 on 23rd of August 2017 is a credit to your company as they landed without the extra hard braking you normally get. Those pilots both of them should teach the other pilots's of your company how both of the pilots did it, and even teach other airline pilots the same IT WAS A VERY SMOOTH LANDING. Give the pilot's a commendation or an award as I would like those pilot's on any of my flights I have in the future. You can let them know it was me that told you to credit them in the highest award they can get please. Let their bosses, and company owners know this as well. So maybe if you call them in the office for something PLEASE CREDIT THEM for the PERFECT LANDING MORE THAN A CREDIT TO YOUR COMPANY as I put that ion bold to enforsize a perfect landing."
Minusy: "I was in 24B middle seat which was very cramped as the seat too small and back of seat too low, knee area not enough, no chance of getting to sleep as you cannot get comfortable enough as you cannot even sleep on the tray, kids screaming all around me, people behind me kept kicking moving my seat, people in front of me too loud Bulgarian's. At Varna airport me and others queued up in check in 2 and 3 patiently, and after about 20 minutes queuing two people jumped the queue in check in 1 as the second guy I had to tell him we have been waiting you cannot jump the queue and to go to the back of the queue, and a guy walked straight into check in 1 before check in 2 and 3 was opened and got his bag done, and a big group of people with prams etc was not even in check in lane 1 where they was sorted out well before us queuing as they just turned up and got there bag etc slips on the prams etc. A lot of the information on board was in Bulgarian and not in English only a very small thing NOT TO BLAME THE PLANE STAFF in any way."

In fact WizzAir have 2 sizes of cabin baggage allowance and small is way too small and it felt like a trap to make money off unsuspecting passengers. They are unapologetic and perfunctory at the boarding gate - clearly they are used to unhappy punters being caught out by this! Food choice onboard not great"

Minusy: "My bag touched the top of the bag screening box for carry-on but otherwise fit and would have fit FINE in the overhead compartment. But NO. I got to pay €50 instead and have them check it. Literally for touching the top but still fitting inside fine. Worst legroom ever. Terrible. I had a middle seat and elbows digging into me on both sides. Awkward! Online check-in automatically selects for one person to be in the front and one person in the back unless you pay more to sit together. Unless you pay the fee you cannot sit with someone you're traveling with. Bathroom broken on flight and only one stall available. Long wait! No pouches in the seat in front of you-- kind of annoying... Staff seemed burnt out and ready to get off the plane. I totally could empathize. Maybe it was because we were heading to Barcelona, but major party crowd who was pretty rowdy on the flight. People standing in the aisles blocking the flight attendants, people sitting on each other's laps some and being loud-- kind of like being on a party bus. Will for sure be telling friends to avoid this airline no matter the price-- not worth saving a few bucks for the discomfort and hidden fees. DON'T FLY this airline if you have kids. Your 5 year old will probably get a middle seat at the back of the plane while you're in the front unless you want to pay extra for everyone to sit together. DON'T FLY this airline if you have American sized carry on luggage. They don't care about your American sized luggage. Whatever the baggage guidelines are, subtract some because that's what they REALLY mean. Get the tiny hard case Euro suitcase if you want to carry on a bag. Otherwise the fee is very high! DON'T FLY this airline if you are over 6 feet tall or have long legs. Ok, they let you stand most of the flight anyway. You'll feel better on another airline. If you can spend an extra 15, do it and AVOID this one."

Minusy: "I didn't like that the originally fairly cheap price became higher and higher to provide minimal comfort and service. 30-35 euros per bag, paid ahead of time, is a ridiculously high price to charge in addition to the flight cost. Middle seats unless you are willing to pay more. Not even a drink on the plan unless you are willing to pay. etc etc. It is EXTREMELY inconvenient not to provide a paper ticket. I was unable to print a boarding pass as I was away from home. At the check-in I was not given a paper boarding pass, and then when I got to the entrance area, my phone would not work to show the boarding passes electronically. Ryan Air's website was impossible to navigate to find my boarding passes, taking me literally about a half hour to figure out. This delayed our entry tremendously. On the flight out from Barcelona to Rome my son was allowed to carry on his skateboard plus one small other carryon. On the flight back, he was NOT allowed to take the board through security, and was told he was too late to check the board. This turned out not to be true, but we were not informed of this at check-in, again seriously delaying our boarding. Luckily we had arrived at the airport way too early, and this worked to our advantage given Ryan Air's incompetence. The next day we flew home on Swiss Air - what a pleasant difference to fly on a real airline! No issues, lots of help, etc. etc."

The employee asked to see the boarding pass on my way phone, obviously it wasn't pulling up this time. We had to pay 15€ per ticket just to print them. That to me is rediculous. The on the flight, they will not take any credit card that isn't European and they are the first airline to accept cash onboard. Overall our experience was horrible. You would think after making us wait in line for over and hour they wouldn't charge is to PRINT the tickets. This airline is perfect for someone traveling by themselves with only a carry on and having access to a printer."

"Priority boarding" (also paid extra for) was a joke. Everyone had to get on a bus to arrive at the plane, and no order was kept, so it was basically a free-for-all to board the plane (lots of flying elbows). As a result, the overhead space by our seats (second row) was filled and we had to put our bags much further back (again defeating the purpose of "priority boarding"). Upon arrival to our destination, there was zero indication that our checked bag would be at completely different terminal. It took going through lost and found and 2 information folks to find the correct baggage claim area (and another go through security). All in all, a terrible experience. Not worth the extra $$ we may have saved. AVOID!!!"

No one came to tell us what was going on, and we had to run all over the airport to find someone who worked for Ryanair to try to find help. Even when we finally located the "customer service" desk, they had no idea what was going on and were unable to help us. All they could offer was a "lunch voucher" but they sent us to the wrong café, which didn't know what we were talking about. Beyond this, the hassle of trying to figure out how much your luggage weighs while you are traveling (we had no access to a scale) isn't worth it. Would NEVER fly this airline again."

We left our hotel 4 hours prior to the flight departure because the metro ride was 1 hour to the Barcelona airport. Next, we waited in line at the airport and were then told to go wait in another line and pay 50 euros each for the airport check-in. Then, our flight was delayed so we got to spend a whole day of our vacation in the Barcelona airport! What a waste of valuable time for us. Next tour of Europe I will gladly spend up to $400 more for a reliable flight on a different airlines. Time is more valuable, especially vacation time!"

Plusy: "The crew knew no better. But everything from check in to boarding was miscommunicated, chaotic, nickel and dining and overall aggravating to say the least. I will never fly this airline again."
Minusy: "Please See above. Non disclosed extra fees. Zero sense of customer care or hospitality. Stressed crew. A sense of chaos that does not make one feel safe nor secure when flying."

Plusy: "Wszystko było w najlepszym porządku, miła i sprawna obsługia, punktualny przylot, szybka odprawa."

Minusy: "No food, long delays and unexpected costs"

Minusy: "Way overpriced! We were charged excessive additional money after we booked"

Plusy: "I liked that it got me where I wanted to go. The staff was nice."
Minusy: "I had to jump through hoops to print a boarding pass even though I had Ryanairs app with a mobile boarding pass. 3 hours of my Sat and Sunday in Barcelona were spent searching for an open copy/print shop. Would have been nice to know more than 48 hours before my flight. I get to the airport after not finding a print shop, expecting to pay through the nose for them to print the tickets for me and they say I didn't even need it. They supply the boarding pass. Wow. The boarding is a joke. They don't board in zones, so the line was literally 180 people long. I wasn't even in the back of the line and it still bothered me. Now let's get to the plane, again, staff and pilot were great. The seats have NO leg room. I have long legs and it was miserable. No seat back pocket to put things. No recline on the seats. The aisle way sagged everytime someone walked past me, leaning my seat toward the aisle. I know, I know, you get what you pay for. This flight I paid for a lesson. That lesson being never never never ever ever ever fly Ryanair again. I would gladly pay a little more money to save my poor knees from being in that position again."

Minusy: "The check-in agent in Palemo was very rude. The seats are cramped (paying a fee for front seats provided no additional legroom). Even the boarding process was willy nilly. Vueling provided much better service for regional flying service and comfort."

Plusy: "Wszystko przebiegło zgodnie z planem."
Minusy: "Bardzo drogi bagaż. Za nadbagaż mieliśmy zapłacić 30 funtów za 3 kg. To przesada."

Plusy: "It was slightly cheaper than other airlines."
Minusy: "The airport is terribly managed and crowded, very uncomfortable. The seats are tiny. Overhead baggage competition is brutal. They try to ding you for everything - there's a forty five euro check-in fee if - God forbid - you check in at the airport. Plus the flight was over 90 minutes late!"

Plusy: "Pyszna sypana kawa z prawdziwym mlekiem na pokładzie."

Minusy: "Największym obciachem jest poziom serwisu na lotnisku Modlin. Wrażenie całej podróży psuje absolutny brak profesjonalizmu i chamstwo pracowników lotniska. Tu nie pasażer jest ważny ale Ochrona"

Minusy: "online check in did not work so I had to purchase a boarding pass in the Catania airport which doubled the price of my ticket. What a scam. Beware!"

Minusy: "Too short flight to have entertainment or food. Impossible to rate"

Minusy: "They try to charge you for everything. Be careful that you print your boarding pass and check in prior to arriving at airport for your flight, or they will try and charge you 45 Euro."

Plusy: "Flown many times, no frills but they get you to your destination."
Minusy: "Changed the gate in the last 5 mind before the gate closed - shreds the nerves when you are catching an international flight!"

Plusy: "The plane arrived on time to Rome. That's about it."
Minusy: "Not much TO like. The biggest problem was having our luggage LOST for 90 mins after arriving at Rome. How does the plane lose our luggage on a DIRECT flight? And in that time items disappeared from one of our suitcases. Specifically, $60 U.S. And a set of Bluetooth wireless earphones. My fault I know for putting cash in a checked bag, but I KNOW they were in there when we left Barcelona. Just a huge lack of respect by their employees.But having to wait 90 mins to retrieve our luggage was just uncalled for. Also, having the flight crew acting like street vendors trying to sell items during the flight was very low class. I know you get what you pay for, but it felt very cheesy and unprofessional to have them moving thru the plane hawking wares."
