Minusy: "LH flight from Seattle was late, and I barely made it to the LH connecting flight to TA. Landed in Tel Aviv, but my one bag didn't arrive with me. Looked for the Lufthansa desk, but there is no such thing. They have farmed out the task of dealing with lost luggage and masses of confused to irate people to another firm. There were approx 40 people trying to get some information from 4 ladies, one of whom was new. They were unable to deal with many reports at a time. How about take a number and we'll call you up in turn? Instead it was like a push and shove pressure cooker just to find out the status of said missing bag and make a report. I was dealt with last. At this time, I was exhausted and angry. The ladies were very good and very kind. They informed my ride of the delay, and told me that the lost bag would come on the next flight. They took me out of the area to get a drink and a bite to eat. We waited. It came. We drove to my destination a few hours away. Never have I had to deal with such a time consuming shambles to find out the bare minimum of information. I finished the trip and will never fly with Lufthansa again."

Upon reaching cruising altitude and prior to dinner service, a Lufthansa stewardess reached across my midsection, activated the reclining mechanism and forcefully returned my seat to its upright position - waking me up to eat. (You may conduct your own investigation, but there was no prior announcement.) I politely declined, but was later denied dinner and breakfast. To clarify, I was unable to eat or sleep. This is utterly disgusting service. I am incredibly disappointed in Lufthansa for the way that I was treated aboard LH403. Unless I can be persuaded otherwise, I will be taking my business elsewhere. Garbage service! Shame on you Lufthansa!"

Naturally, when we finally got on board people where blocking the aisle because Aegean didn’t bother to board from back to front as it is usually done. The flight attendants were sweet but their English was almost unintelligible. My brother works and I worked for major airlines and have never seen anything so disorganized and unprofessional."

If you include the fees in your calculation, this might still be a good option, but make sure that you read the fine print, or be prepared to pay as “extra” what many airlines offer as basic."

Also... there was a meal on the flight but not option was given to those who are vegetarians to request a special meal at time of booking or later on while managing the booking... this was a bit unfair in my mind that my only option was a pasta and meat sauce meal so I did not get to eat... also... within my Star Alliance menber account I am listed as a vegetarian meal... so it should have been automatic just as it is on Swiss, Lufthansa, Etc... when I fly with them."

Minusy: "With Kayak I booked Tel Aviv to Malta with 1 hour stop in Athens. The first flight was delayed by an hour hence making me lose my second flight. Aegean then booked me on a flight to Catania (Italy) for a different connection to Malta. Only that this Aegean flight was also delayed by an hour making me miss the second connection. Eventually I arrived in Malta 15 hours later than scheduled. Aegean customer service reps were extremely unhelpful and made this 10 times more difficult. I missed a whole vacation day, amassed roaming telephone charges and on top of that missed a reservation for Dinner in the Sky Malta."

The crew was visible, helping and offering drinks all the time. The checking at the gate was unprofessional, and the boarding was a mess.

I flew business class. But nothing compare to business class. Lounge closed in Vienna. Not exist at all in Tel Aviv. Priority boarding not exist in Tel Aviv despite available business counter. Nobody in front of me was checked in to Business or with Senator status. No welcome drinks. All overall awful experience.

Podczas lotu zabrakło napojów, stewardesy bywają opryskliwe.

Nowiutki samolot, płynny lot, super system rozrywki na pokładzie (filmy itp na telefonie / tablecie pasażera), b.przyjemna przekąska, napoje i ciastka. Dawno nie latałem LOTem, było miłe zaskoczenie.

Stop using the 737MAX. It's 100% safe but very uncomfortable.

So therefore I will never fly them again. Not to mention my luggage didn't make it. I had to go on without my luggage. They inspected and reinspected every single item on my carry on for like an hour in a different room. Kinda scary.! Other airlines check the bags in front of the passengers. Horrible experience and I travel a lot and had never experienced anything like that. Almost didn't feel welcome to be traveling to Israel. The flight attendants have attitudes and they yelled at me because I didn't speak or understand hebrew. Food on the plane is horrible too."

Minusy: "Upon arrival to the airport, I was pressurized by the "UP" check-in desk staff to send my carry-on to the plane's hold because "the flight is packed and we prefer that you do so". I didn't argue, but this just gives an overall bad impression and certainly does not shed positive light on the company's competence and professionalism. The flight itself was delayed because of insufficient carry-on space in the upper compartments - carry-ons had to be taken off to the hold - something that created a noticeable delay, add to that the dismay of many irked passengers and the expected complaining and hopeless pleas to the flight attendants. The plane took off 20+ minutes late. The fact that this is "low cost" is no justification at all for such a chaos."

Every time we fly El Al the entertainment doesn't work, the screens are ridiculously small, the seats are cramped and the bathrooms are a mess. Every other airline we have used that costs the same or less is a completely different, and better, experience."
Plusy: "Checking in. There was a problem with the tickets we ordered but there was a man named Joshua Dadana who was compassionate, helpful and professional who worked his best along with others whose names I did not write down to catch the flight to Israel. I would highly recommend your airline."

Minusy: "I don't know how El Al gets away with serving people their so-called nightly "meal". They have the audacity to tell passengers it's a "tapas" meal. Tapas has nothing to do with it. You can choose between tuna salad (tuna drowned in mayo with mostly peppers) or chicken with tahini (mostly peppers again, with two small cubes of chicken drowned in tahini). They give you this with a small salad, pita and industrial hummus which is probably the best thing about this meal. Having being burned by this meal last time - they ran out and I got a "glatt kosher" meal - I took the vegetarian option, which was roasted peppers, salad made from 80% lettuce, 20% peppers and no dressing and an inedible cookie. I am allergic to peppers. There is no entertainment to speak of, because El Al sees no reason to update its planes, and there is no personal entertainment system. You can download an app to your phone called "Dream Stream", and stream some options from El Al, but then you have no where to charge your phone, so what's the point? The seats are ridiculously close together, and if someone leans back you really can't eat. Finally, I have no idea why they do this - but El Al flights from Europe don't attach to the terminal via ramp. You get out of the plane on a staircase, in the middle of the night, in the pouring rain, and then have to take a bus to the terminal. It's not like all ramps are busy at 4AM..."

Plusy: "The fast of Taanis Esther started at about 4:30am in the morning. The crew was kind enough to serve breakfast earlier than usually to accommodate those who were fasting. They probably had to sacrifice an hour or two of their own sleep, but it was really appreciated by the passengers. The crew should be complemented!"
Minusy: "I sat in a seat with something under the seat in front of me. I couldn't completely turn off the screen in front of me."

The temperature on boath flights was very high even with max airflow. We were not allowed to bring abroad bottled water which we had bought at the duty free at the airport, and the aircraft chair would not recline and was extremely crowded with almost no leg space. Will not recommend!"

My group of 20 people , some of which were over 80 years old , had to stand 2 hours in line before they where approached. For those that collapsed there were only about 12 chairs in the entire space, for the multitudes that were coming for the flight. i will never fly El -Al to Rome with my groups again, and will not accept the claim that this is "the Ministry of Security" (as the security checkers claimed) , unless i receive an answer to assure that this is to be amended. i purchased tickets from ElAl - and they must provide better standards for and during their security issues."
