Minusy: "I was sitting right in the front near the first class area, and I needed to use the washroom, I was refused and ordered to use only the other 2 available ones at the back of the plane. It’s not much to say, but it’s weird to have only 2 stalls for the whole plane, and one stall for only about a doze"

It has been just over TEN years ago that you had two suitcases at 32 kg each included in price! Does the airline seriously believe that you can travel around the world with just a swim trunk in your pocket? This policy is an insult to any world traveller. We do not all go into an all-inclusive resort! The only drink offered during the flight was plain water, again a step down from before where they also offered others, e.g. orange juice. Seating - now that big persons have the right for two seats for the price of one, when will the same rational apply to tall people?"

Air Canada had to put me on completely new flights there and back. I think this has taught me to go directly through an airline. Justfly was not helpful. Neither was Turkish airlines."

Even the boards showed the 8:55 pmflight had already departed.... At 5pm. Finally made it to customer service and they gave us the gate number and confirmed the flight didn't leave until 8:55. Then the flight got delayed 20 minutes. No problem, but after boarding we sat in the cramped and poorly cushioned seats for 45 minutes before takeoff because the plane needed servicing. Air jets would not turn off and my husband, who had a window seat, was freezing due to cold air constantly blowing around his feet. When we got off the plane he could barely feel his feet."

Minusy: "Our flight was over an hour late getting to the airport in Morocco and when there we were left standing in the jetway after scanning our tickets for a good 30 minutes. The flight was so delayed, many of us missed our connecting flights and had to be issued later flights. I was originally booked to fly out the next day, which would NOT have worked out but was booked instead for 5 hours later. I stood downstairs for 2 hours trying to find my baggages, however, they never came where they were supposed to come out and I received 3 different answers on where they were. "They're at carousel 5," "you don't have to get them they will be checked to your final destination," no they're at carousel 3, so you can grab quickly and recheck upstairs." My bag wasn't at any of these places. I finally found a nice air Canada agent who took the time out of his day to actually go to the back and check on my bag to which he returned 10 minutes later with it. It was just "circling around back there" with nowhere to go. Had I not been persistent, my bag would not have made it to my final destination. I wish the story ended there but it does not. After a 5 hour wait, I sat at my gate which continued to say "American Airlines" I asked the gate if United Airlines flight was still leaving from there she just stated she "had no idea" frustrated, with no gate to go to with a flight leaving in 1 hour nobody seemed to know where our new flight was boarding. After 3 gate changes we were finally able to board our flight to D.C. I am sorely disappointment in both Air Canada and the YUL system. This would be my second time flying this way and both times I have had issues. It's too bad. I do not plan on doing so again."
Plusy: "Very confusing. United personnel running Air Canada ground operations. Took 30 plus minutes to check one bag because there were not enough staff checking passengers in. Then flight was supposed to be delayed 90 minutes. This meant missing connections so automatic rebooking took place. Flight was then not delayed and had to rebook on original flight. Naturally bag didn't make the trip."

I am pregnant so that extra room to stretch is great. The fast service when retrieving my luggage."

Minusy: "I was annoyed to find that Air Canada has invented special terminology to justify charging for a single checked bag on an international flight. At the check in counter, the representative explained to me that Canada is "trans border" and not "international," so they don't offer a free checked bag. However, I was still required to present my passport and go through customs, and I'm pretty sure I came out of the plane in a different country than I started in, so I conclude that they are splitting hairs to cheat customers out of a standard service."
Plusy: "The crew was so good and friendly. The entertainment options were good, some variety. The flight was smooth."

Plusy: "Boarding was relatively painless. Flight was on time. What i didnt like was the crew. The flight from Toronto to Los Angeles was five hours. They had the fasten seat belts light on the entire trip because they said the turbulence was bad. I have been on alot of flights and let me tell you that the turbulence was not bad at all. After three hours prople decided enough was enough and started going to the restroom. The crew would get all bent out of shape and get on the PA yo please stay in your seats and not use the restrooms at this time. Really!! Well that didnt happen. The only thing they give you is one free drink. No penuts, cookies or pretzels. If you want food you have to pay for it. I sat by the window and my window was all greasy. I couldent really see out of it. I did use the rest room and it was pretty clean."

The staff in the airport were super rude and didn't seem like they cared at all. There was nothing express about this flight."
Minusy: "gate assignment kept changing so i bounced through the airport more than i would have liked to since i was trying to get some work done between flights. in addition, the final gate assignment was tight to say the least; people were literally sitting on the floor next to the moving walkway. this isn't an Air Canada problem it's a Pearson problem and made the experience less than pleasant."

Minusy: "Traveling with 2 adults, a 3 year old and 1 year old, we had to ask to get our seats next to each other's for each flight at the desk. For both our family and other passenger it would make more sense to get that covered beforehand."
Minusy: "As every other international flight I've been on has included a lot of food/wine/beer, this was a big disappointment for two long flights. In addition there were no in flight screens. I had a laptop but it is inconvenient to have that out while trying to do things in a small space. The chairs were also really uncomfortable, more than usual."

Minusy: "I do and have been in the customer service field for well over 25yrs and the service from the desk reps (EXCEPT from the ladies when leaving Hamilton, Bermuda), flight attendant were lack luster to say the least...the energy and behavior was professional but no enthusiasm from the employees. Almost everyone's personality seemed like a flat lined and when I asked if I can have a whole can of ginger ale, the response was as if I asked to commit a crime. That was on way to Hamilton so I did same thing again on way back to see if I'd get same response and ironically, I did get same type of response as if I was doing or asking something wrong. However, the Air Canada employees in Bermuda at the counter were beyond wonderful, enthusiastic and great energy."
