The air conditioning was not working, they didn't offer us anything to drink.... it could have been handled differently. Minusy: "We booked a BA flight from Pittsburgh to Glasgow, through Philadelphia. We intentionally chose BA because we anticipated good service. We later learned that the flight was serviced by American. Our original flight was delayed one day because we missed our connection due to weather on the East Coast (after six hours at the airport). American re-ticketed us for a flight the next day. After several misstarts in Pittsburgh, we arrived in Philadelphia with minutes to spare. After running to the gate, we were then greeted with what turned out to be a four hour delay. Then, upon return, we learned that our seat selections/priority boardings were all deleted because of the re-ticketing on the on the flight out, and we spent hours on the phone and at the airport trying to get things sorted out and ensure that we had a return flight. One of the worst trips ever in my experience."

Having the usb and headphone plugs next to the monitor is the best. Better than Virgin for sure. But strangely, you couldn't order from the food and drinks menu like you can from Virgin so it was just a video version of the menu card. Food was good."
Minusy: "Someone destroyed a lavatory so we were short one for the flight and caused a 30 minute delay before take-off. The usual spiral happened: pilot flew into bad turbulence to make up time. No biggie."

Minusy: "my first flight was delayed by 4 hours so I automatically missed my connection. i called american to reschedule my flight for the next day in order to spend the night at my house and not have ro ask for hotel, they said no problem. when I go to she counter to explain they said that they would put me on a later flight and that they where sure I would make it. when I arrived miami I had missed my connection and they did NOT cover the hotel expenses they rebooked me for the next day at 5pm. no food no hotel no nothing. the next day I arrived at the airport counter the people at the american airline's counter did not want to let me thorugh because I had a one way ticket... after explaining for over 25 minutes they let me go.... the miami gloght to Bermuda then was also delayed for a total of 2 hours and they changed gates 8 times from one end to thw other and so on.... the worst service ever........"

Minusy: "Boarded us late. Got us to the runway, realized they didn't have the paperwork they needed and returned to gate. Swapped out a crew member whilst they were there. Lost place in the queue and so we ended up about an hour and a half late. Lots of excuses but don't recall hearing an "I'm sorry for the delay"."
Plusy: "The crew were beyond excellent and tried to help with the seats. They were also very apologetic for the seat issue."
Minusy: "Our seats had no power and couldn't adjust. The crew manually did it for us but we never got it to go close to flat. We were on an old 757 which is such an embarrassing product for AA compared to the new or refurbished planes."

Minusy: "Flight was more than 2 hours late - same as the flight from Columbus to Toronto when we left- the ground crew did not know or care where the plane (a replacement craft) was coming from or when it arrived and let it sit on the ramp for about 15 minutes before marshaling it in and the seats we got after waiting all that time were excessively worn and felt like we were sitting in bowls. The logistics either of Air Canada or at the Toronto airport for domestic flights stinks. I will try to avoid both in future."

They are new and have touchscreens that are actually well designed and can scroll etc. Resolution and sound are great, so I actually feel like I watched my movie and didn't just look at moving blurs with half the dialogue missing. Also the USB ports are great. And the brownie with the meal was delicious."
Minusy: "Only one meal on a >9 hour flight, plus one snack which was an uninspiring-looking rectangle of cold pumpkin loaf (it tasted good, but after 7.5 hours in the air it'd be nice to get something more appealing). Other airlines give two meals. It's ridiculous that Air Canada insists on being so stingy with the food."

The exit row seats that we "upgraded" to were incredibly narrow, and there's nowhere close to stow your things. Then someone was in our seats when we boarded, and they took all our overhead bin space, so we were left with nothing for our flight. I would Not recommend paying extra for the exit row seats."

Minusy: "My flight was delayed and that's understandable, my luggage however was lost and I was not fully informed about the delayed luggage process with Air Canada. Now I will be at least 4, maybe even 5 days without my luggage at an international destination."

Minusy: "They had nothing together. My first flight was delayed so I got in late and my connecting flight was rescheduled for 5 hours later. Their "free meal voucher" for rescheduling amounts to one slice of pizza and no drink. The airport then lost my checked bag and kept me waiting in one room for 4 of those hours to where I was still rushing to catch my next flight. Air Canada then forgot to assign a plane to my new second flight so I waited another 2 hours to board. Once boarded, the airline made us wait another hour while they loaded bags, then unloaded some of the wrong bags thy put on. They then tacked 25 minutes in the wrong direction and we went all the way back. I have never seen so many people rushing the customer service desks because they missed their connecting flights, throughout the entire time I was stuck in Toronto. Additionally, their "in flight movie system" doesn't work unless you rent one of their iPads. It prompts you to download Java Flash player even if you already have it instead of asking to run it. Then once you allow it, you get a 1-2 second animation then the movie breaks. There are similar errors with their music and tv show features, I tried all of these in my laptop and phone."

Tea (old ,too strong,yak).Wake up people ,none of the passengers I spoken to had anything positive to say ! I liked my Lufthansa flight to Europe but for the sheer reason having to return with Air Canada I will avoid booking this flight .Thank You."

The plane was very dirty - trash in between the seat 4. The food was the worst I ever tried on the plane 5. I was very surprised at the very disappointing service. I must say, with all the travel I do, apart from 1 young lade, the flight attendants acted like they loathed being there. It is so disappointing especially b/c I am Canadian so it is a bit embarrassing that Air Canada seems to have such terrible service. 6. The flight attendants were out of a lot of things, I heard them mention several beverages they were out of throughout the flight. I also heard them say that there will be no hot beverages while seatbelt sign is on (which it was a lot). I guess that is reasonable, however, it is the first time I have encountered that on the place. Instead they directed to passengers to come up to the back of the plane to get a hot beverage when the seatbelt sign was off. I did a few times - 1st time they said they were out of cups and to stop by later. But 2nd time had the cups. Did these cups get magically delivered midair or perhaps maybe they just needed to bring cups from the storage on the place and could have given me an option to wait while they retrieve them. 2nd time when I stopped by to try to get a hot beverage, a lady with black hair just gave me an empty cup. The whole experience with this flight was confusing - some attendants seemed not to understand fully what passengers were asking."

Even then, I could only watch TV shows on my laptop --you need an app to see movies. Very strange and felt like being in a domestic flight."

Minusy: "Nine hour flight from Warsaw to Toronto, 7 hours of on and off ear-piercing screaming two year old child. Even though it was a daytime flight, most passengers wanted to sleep due to early morning wake up and previous connections. Even for somebody who wished to stay awake, there was nothing pleasurable about this situation. The airlines are going to have to figure out how to deal with this ever-increasing problem on long-distance flights, like a closed door quiet space for the parent and child. It was like being trapped in a torture chamber. If an adult had created that much commotion and misery on a flight, they would have been forcefully subdued and probably arrested. A few minutes of a crying baby can be excused, but this was non-stop disturbance by an unruly child and complacent parent(s)."
