As customer service, shouldn’t they offer help without having the customer feel like they need to convince the check in attendant to give them alternate solutions?"

Minusy: "1.Plane was late to take off. No announcement about it. Some passenger came in the last minute. 2. There were 3 young men being me. They talked extremely loud and were bursting laughing ALL THE FLIGHT, 1 hour 45 minutes. Crew didn't say anything to them. It was very annoying. 3. Unorganized boarding. 4. Announcements were not loud enough. I didn't hear anything due to the talking passengers around me."

She then made my flight a nightmare, until I let her sit in my aisle seat. Even then she was not satisfied, she abused me the whole flight damaged the screen so I could not use it until the steward fixed it. Demanded that I except any and all alcohol to give to her to drink. When I am tea total she then continued to abuse me. I asked the steward to move me he just shrugged his shoulders and said there was nowhere else. This is definitely my the worst flight I have experienced."

Plusy: "On both of my flights to New York City, I was amazed at how friendly and helpful the flight attendants were to the passengers. On my short flight from Basel to Amsterdam, a young French speaking girl was concerned about how to manage getting to her next gate. The flight attendants talked to her and arranged for someone to take her there. On my longer flight from Amsterdam to New York City, there was a customer who was in distress about missing a previous flight and not making it to her connecting flight in New York. One of the flight attendants reassured her until she stopped crying and calmed down. That same flight attendant was always so positive and cheerful in all she did. The rest of the crew was top notch. This was my best experience flying in such a long time. Well done, KLM crews of flights 1984 and 0645 on July 10!"

Minusy: "I paid almost $400 for upgraded seats. When I got to the airport-- no seats-- both ways!! i didn't even have regular seat assignments. I had to choose from the last few seats available. The ticket agent, the gate agent and the cabin crew all did nothing to make up for the fact that their system screwed up and stuck me in a cramped coach seat in the back of the plane for 11 hours-- TWICE! Beyond that, KLM must have one of the oldest fleets in the sky. Both ways LAX->AMS->LAX, I was on a 30-35 year old 747 with no wifi, no power and a ten-year-old entertainment system. Never again."

Minusy: "Without any explanation the plane I was due to go to Istanbul on at 11.30 was not available. I had to wait for a small plane coming from Edinburgh then wait for it to be emptied of passengers and cleaned. This meant we were over 2 hours late into Istanbul. No explanation or apology. I then missed my next flight in Istanbul and had to purchase another ticket. I cannot believe that air passengers are treated in this way!!! I will follow this up with KLM when I go home from my holiday."

What was worse was after I told them of my situation they said they understood and had a meal that would do but there was cheese, yogurt, milk chocolate, etc."

Minusy: "Flight delayed by one hour which meant I missed by train at Southampton by 10 minutes and subsequent bus connect home. Next bus would have been 2 hours later so 45 minute walk home from train station. Didn't bother with food offering, put off by that supplied from Hannover to Schiphol."

On top of it, one female officer was rude. Typical french :("

Nevdr informed what was happening, never offered to move our seats or move iIl passengers. Glad all turned out ok. Could have given them more privacy and better informed other passengers."

Minusy: "People may think,that the delay of the flight has set my mood for this review but I can ensure it has most definitely not. With all the bad weather, I was already very happy to connect right on time in Paris. However, a long haul A380 flight with such a tight seat configurstion is almost embarrassing for an airline. The in flight entertainment is at a very poor level, not only with the screen being very small and outdated, many of the movies are only available in French and the international selection very limited. The food was not much of a delight, whereas the presentation was nice. However, in all the 7 h between the services, nobody came around with refreshments in a completely booked flight, neither was announced that a trolly would be set for self service in the galley. Lucky the ones who got up and found out about. In terms of amenities, again, the airline is lacking of originality and saves cost. Bottom line: you get from A to B, but there are so many better competitors in the market, which I shall definitely consider on my next travel."

Minusy: "With the main meal, AF serves only "ordinary wine", This looks and tastes cheap. On the same route and class, Vietnam Airlines serves premium wines, a nice touch that would not cost fortunes to AF! Also, the "Asian" choice for the main course did not look and taste like the real thing."

AF without our knowledge downgraded one member, separating a mother from her 3 year old daughter. They offered no compensation, no apology, and CDG ground crew was terribly rude. All anyone said was, nothing to be done, now please Leave"

Plusy: "The flight crew was excellent. My husband and I flew economy and I saw the crew keep passengers well fed (several meals and snacks) and were attentive to everyone's needs and all done with a smile. I thought the hot towels for cleansing our hands before meals was a very nice touch!"

They found my baggage on the 3th plane on the last minut. Terrible. And I had go for it by myself because LOT didnt want to send to me the courier. The fly was also 1 hour late"

Minusy: "1. I had filled up API information & am an Executive club member. My India contact number is available on record. In spite of that I did not get SMS about flight ETD details or alert. 2. First meal was served about 1 hour after departure, which is Ok. The second meal was served after 8 hours, towards end of flight. 3. BA 36 takes off at ETD 05.30 & travels east. It is always day time as it flies."

Also, this is not the airline's fault, but the woman sitting next to me was wearing an excessive amount of perfume, which gave me a headache. I think the airline should make recommendations for passengers not to be heavily scented. As a physician, I worry about patients with RADS (reactive airways dysfunction syndrome) who can develop bronchospasm if exposed to individuals wearing lots of perfume, and a plane is an enclosed space."

Plusy: "The crew was attentive. I was seated by the window and couldn't get out unless I inconvenienced the two people sitting next to me. Whenever I needed water, I just pushed the attendant button and they brought me ice water, without me even asking."
Minusy: "The seats! OMG. The person in front of me leaned her seat back and I swear her head was on my chest. I couldn't even watch my video monitor until I leaned my seat back. I felt really bad for the guy behind me. He was a bigger sized guy and he didn't have the option of leaning his own seat back."

Minusy: "I didn’t like to have 4 stops and so many hours of layover between all of my trips I will never ever buy a trip with a travel agency it is so complicated to make a change and they want to charge you about 5,000 dollars for a change! awfull!!! waitress from miami to london was not so nice."

Minusy: "Seats very uncomfortable. They would not recline at all. I was not looking to lay down but sitting straight up for 2 hours made it very uncomfortable. But, I guess since you added the extra seats, there is not enough room for anything. I am only 5'7" and feel sorry for those people who are much taller."

The gentleman working the register was very pleasant and was a welcome personality so early in the day. As a service member, I would like to thank him for his service. He was consistent in asking patrons whether they’d like to purchase a travel kit for the troops. A few patrons were abrupt and responded rudely but he maintained a level head and pressed on. Great attitude and professionalism. Thank you very much for your support! Also, I was able to get my Military discount applied towards my purchase which enabled me to purchase 1 travel kits for my fellow service members. A little goes a long way and when returning from deployments or coming home for R&R, it tends to be hectic and I, myself have often forgotten toiletries which I was able to get from the USO. The USO staff were also friendly and did an amazing job handling all of the personnel that funneled in, exhausted. Great attitudes and clean facilities. I would love to see an expansion to this USO location. They were full up this day, thank you for having this available to us! TSgt Angela Santiago Otero, USAF"

Plusy: "I would like if for my return from Paris to Chicago, Chicago Seattle I would be greeted by the personal and offered to flight first class without extra charge to compensate for the bad experience on my way going in. Thank you"
Minusy: "I was told I would be able to choose the seats only 24 hours before the flight by going online. I tried to choose the seats online but could not have access to the site. I then called the number provided to ask for more help, and was told that I could then only choose the seats at the check in time. I was at the airport 2 hours before the flight schedule to book my seat and was told them that I could only choose the seats at the gate. Once I got at the gate I asked the person to please give me a seat at the aisle for medical reasons but after waiting until the boarding process had started I was giving a middle seat. Not only I was treated as a stand by passenger that had not purchased the tickets I was put nt on group 8 and at the moment of boarding the gate personal aggressively grabbed my carry-on bag because they insisted there was no more spaces in the compartment above heads. Once I got inside of airplane I saw many empty compartments available for carry-on luggage. I wish I had not purchased my ticket with Iberia Airlines operated by American Airlines. It was not a good, pleasant experience and do not recommend. I wil certainly avoid in the future and not travel this way another time. Thanks"

Continuously told us we were deplaning and then silence...several times...very frustrating after 9 hour flight. Better communication and organization in customs would be appreciated Otherwise, crew was very polite and overall good job"

Minusy: "We had some Change of plans and we're going to just get off in Phoenix and not take it straight to San Diego, we called American they said no big deal they would ticket our bags to Phoenix, got to the airport and the American Airlines gal stated in no way shape or form could they do that, I tried explaining the whole situation and her response always ended in 'and your bags will be in San Diego'. By the grace of God we were able to cram two checked bags worth of stuff into our carry ons which I still do not know how we did that, and were fine. On the flight we had a decently nice lady and a horrible male. When passing out drinks he seemed almost irritated that we had asked for water and rudely gave it to us which was room temperature. He totally skipped the lady in the row with us and got irritated when she asked for a water as well."
