Minusy: "There was an incident prior to take off where a passenger in first class had to be removed from the plane. Though it’s certainly not the airlines fault that there was an issue with a passenger, they should’ve been a lot more transparent and gave us a lot more information on what exactly was going on other then “we need to go back to a special area to get this passenger off.” Couple that with the security checks to “make sure there is nothing on the plane that shouldn’t be” and very little explanation of what actually occurred, it made for a very stressful flight. Not knowing if this passenger had made any kind of threat against the plane, or safety of other passengers... etc, it was very hard to feel safe for the remainder of my trip being left in the dark as the incident occurred in first class."

Half an hour. Standing up, to get from the plane to the airport. We landed an A380 at the Emirates flagship airport on-time for a normally scheduled flight, and it seemed to take everyone by surprise."

Worse quality beef on a flight ever, and that's hard to do. In my 1.5 million miles flown, these were the least comfortable, cramped seats I have ever experienced. I am only 5'7", 150lbs, but for the first time ever could not reach my belongings in the under-the-seat space in front of me. Seriously, it was that cramped."

As soon as first class is boarded, they open boarding to all seats, so it's like cattle boarding a train. With Swiss Air, don't wait to get in line - do it early to ensure you get carry-on storage near your seat."

Minusy: "My baggage never made it on my first flight due to a strike by Swiss airlines crew. The flight was delayed and we were told it was because there was less crew and it was taking some time to get our baggage on the plane. Due to the delay, I missed my connecting flight and was rescheduled for a flight the following day. When I went to get my checked bags, I was told they never made it on the plane and were indefinitely in the first city (Barcelona). I was told to file a complaint once I got home (US) and then they'd forward the bag to me. I did not receive my bags until 5 full days later, in which I had to call every single day and ask to place more request to move the bags from one city to the next. If I hadn't stayed on top of it, I surely would not have received my bags. Also, when I checked my bags in Barcelona, I had to pay an extra 75 Euros for having a second bag although the weight limit was not surpassed. The guy at the counter was really nice and didn't want to charge me but due to the strike, the policy was really strict on a one bag limit. That I understand, but I did file a complaint and request to be refunded that 75 Euros since the service that I paid for was not completed on their end until 5 days later. I'm really hoping they refund me but not gunna bet on it."

Why do airlines hire chefs then serve lousy food!? First meal was so so while wake up meal was really bad. Was so disappointed in Swiss Air so will not fly with them again. Great service doesn't make up for the noted disappointments. Spending a $2-3 more on food would have helped, but placing us in a long flight in such a small airbus plane just won't do!"

If he didn't have family living in Dallas, he would've incurred a hotel fee too."

The ticket agent, the gate agent and the cabin crew all did nothing to make up for the fact that their system screwed up and stuck me in a cramped coach seat in the back of the plane for 11 hours-- TWICE! Beyond that, KLM must have one of the oldest fleets in the sky. Both ways LAX->AMS->LAX, I was on a 30-35 year old 747 with no wifi, no power and a ten-year-old entertainment system. Never again."

Minusy: "Seats on the 777 were too narrow. This 777 had a 3-4-3 seating arraignment, it would have been better with a 3-3-3, similar to a 787 configuration. With the current layout, even with an aisle seat, I was sitting in the aisle. And I am not a large person! The flight was full, so use the 787 and two daily non-stops. For a twelve hour flight, the food was only Okay, could have been better and with a better selection. Meal timing was poor."

When I was boarding the plane I saw several people with carry on baggage that were wider and longer than mine. I will never fly thru British Airways or book thru Kayak.com again. When I get back to my country I will file every complaint I can thru google and social media. I never felt so disrespected and ripped off!"

For example my wife’s headphone socket was broken, and therefore no in flight entertainment. But we managed. It was reported to the crew and they immediately set about recording it for attention at next maintenance and changed our seats, so no complaints there. A few of the entertainment screens are scratched, and the controls faulty. But still usable with a little perseverance."
Minusy: "Seat row spacing too close. There is little point of a reclining seat because using it greatly inconveniences the passenger behind."

Minusy: "After sitting on the tarmac (I understand the delay) for 2 hours there was no water available for another hour past takeoff. And then it was only available for purchase. Really, a cup of free water is asking too much?"

Minusy: "None of them reminded me of the fact that I need a transit visa for the UK (I mean, isn't it rediculous? I am just staying there for 5 hours). When I called in for cancellation at the airline, they told me to talk to my agent company Cheaptickets. Cheaptickets simply told me that I can't get any money back, and was extremely arrogant and impatient. Later (for a week I was trying to save this ticket by talking to the British Embassy to see if I can get the visa done and they are just "we can't help you") they told me that I can get a refund of like 30 SGD and they promised to send me an e-mail about it. They never ever did. I also tried to change the dates and the handling fee + fair difference was like 1200 SGD (are you joking?) they simply told me, prices fluctuate... Finally I went to the check in counter desperate. The staff even refused to talk to me about my situation because simply, "there is no BA ticket office in Singapore" and told me to call them. I said the office is closed, but they are like, yeah just call them. They swept me off like a moron. Extremely arrogant, impatient, insensitive. I paid 900 SGD for nothing and a whole week of anxiety and regret. I will never take this and I will never use Cheaptickets or Kayak"

They never checked and I had to inform crew that I never got my special food. They did get me something to eat finely. I was not very happy. Kathleen M Quinn"

Minusy: "I paid to upgrade to the exit row because I am 6 feet 5 inches tall after boarding they informed me that I could not sit in that seat because I needed a seat belt extender they made me move to a regular seat that was so tight that my knees were jammed into the seat in front of me coming back was the same the man next to me was 6 feet tall and he had no room also boarding was mass confusion as they have boarding from the front and rear simultaneously with no instructions so people had to shove past each other all in all I will never fly them again"
