These two kids were much younger (4 or 5yrs) than any others going to camp. One of the kids could not sit still. The adult behind me sometimes held her in her lap which resulted in pushing on my seatback. While in her own seat the child did not have her seat belt on. Eventually the girl began using her arm rests on either side of the aisle to swing herself. I finally mentioned this and the lack of seat belt fastening to F.A. who said "They're from Latvia. These Eastern Europeans don't think about things the way you and I do." The child was blocking the aisle at times and the F.A. did nothing."
Plusy: "Flight was delayed, and I ended up staying in hotel and spending the while next day traveling. It was very unfortunate, I lost 24 hours. But the hotel was nice."
Plusy: "They gave us a warm cloth to wash our hands and face at the beginning of the flight. There was a bottle of water there too. We were constantly offered various drinks, especially water. The staff was extremely friendly and each of the flight attendants spoke about 4 languages."

Instead of a 2pm direct we were put on an 8am with a layover. The only saving grace is that our transatlantic was on Delta, which was amazing."

Finn Air asked me if I would give up my seat they would get me on the next Finn Air flight to Chicago. I did and they even up graded me to business class on the next flight. It was the best flight experience of my life. Great food, hosts, and service. It was very comfortable the entire way."

The crew on board was ok, at best. The food was the poorest we had in both flights we took (we travelled from Barcelona to JFK, New York, and from JFK to YVR, Vancouver). We were most pleased with our flight from New York to Vancouver, with Cathay Pacific, who, by comparison, had very helpful and pleasant staff both at the JFK Airport and on board."

Can you guess what the plane smelled like by the time we landed? Let's discuss the fact that passengers had to be "shuttled" to the plane because of construction. I paid additional for Group 1 boarding, so great I got to get on the shuttle first. Those that came after me also were the last to board the shuttle and the first to get on the plane. Thanks, American, for showing me again why I use you as a last resort. Had I known it was American and NOT Finnair, as I purchased it, I would have re-thought my purchase."

Arriving at the airport to check in, I saw options to select seats which made me upset even though there was nothing next to each other but way more options than online."

Waiting for 30-40 minutes to claim our baggage to know it had been left in our origin destination in the end so it would probably be delivered 2 days later since the next flight would arrive the following day but late in the evening and more time wasted on the lane to claim for it that caused to miss our connecting train that would take us home and we had to wait for another hour to take the next so we finally got home 2 hours later than expected. We will never use again another company from the one world alliance."

He said yes let me gather this trash and ill be back. He never returned. Then everyone was served their meals and I then was also skipped. Flight crew congregated again in the middle and my sister and I had to wave our hands up in the air to grab anyone's attention so I could get my meal. At that point they were out of the vegetarian option and I got a small oh we didn't mean to skip you comment. Pretty disappointed with this flight."

So with my girlfriend, we spent 8 hours from London to NYC in darkness with no entertainment despite having paid for it. Finally, I've been trying to get in touch with customer service for 3 weeks now and I still haven't gotten a hold of anyone."

Plusy: "Ground staff in London was amazing! The flight from Barcelona to London was delayed because of weather condition. Once we arrived in London the ground staff made sure all of us (almost 20 people, lots of kids) could get the flight connection to JKF. The shuttle bus was already waiting for us, the ground staff indicated to us the faster way to get to our gate after passing through security checking. Everybody could get the JFK flight!"
Minusy: "I'm gluten intolerant and there was no gluten free snack!!! Lunch was served as soon as the plane took off, but for the next 5h of flight nothing else was served. I asked if they had some gluten free snack, they told me there were going to check, but they never got back to me with an answer. I was starving arriving in NY. Aircraft was too old and it didn't have USB charger. And the individuals screens were also too old and had really bad quality for watching movies! It seemed that I was in a flight from 20 years ago!"

This is the 21st century and this is British airways representing great Britain. I guess gb isn't great no more. One more thing I don't eat pork and when the flight attendant offered me dinner she said I only have sausage. Be considerate on passengers that don't eat pork"

I have spinal disc problems and consequently leg pain and difficulty sitting, especially in cramped spaces. I upgraded to WTP especially for that reason and was not disappointed. If I ever fly again, if BA goes there, that's going to be my choice."

Got back on and said we would be leaving shortly. In all we say on the plane over 3 hours prior to take off. Never flying with your company again. Easily the worst experience flying ever."

We mentioned the noise problem but were ignored. Once allowed to debark we were crammed into a long cold hall and waited another 1/2 hour before moving towards immigration clearance. To top it off the baggage conveyer system was broken and we waited another 45 minutes before they shut the building down. So we left with no luggage exhausted. One piece of luggage was left back in London. Not pleasant at all. We did get our luggage returned 3 days later. That was good."
Minusy: "Only frustrating thing was that i missed my flight due to traffic and poor uber service. When i got to the airport i wasn't allowed to check in. This caused me to be charged a $275.00 late fee for my ticket and my friends. Since i lost my phone when it fell out of my pocket onto the train tracks as i entered the heathrow express i wasn't able to transfer funds to pay for the $550.00 worth of ticket transfer fees. It was a huge issue but eventually it was sorted. Not knowing if you will be able to get back to your county or not is a very stressful experience. Wish i could get my $550.00 back. Only to get to the counter and waste more tome trying to find me in the system to then tell me my flight is with American Airline . I double check my email where it clearly shows: 1st flight-British Airway and 2nd flight-American Airline . This is not acceptable, nobody wants to take responsability for sending me the wrong information in the email. Had I know both of my flights were with American Airline I wouldn’t lost my plane because I would make the right line to begin with ."

Minusy: "Since my flight was connecting from London to New York we barely had a break even though we were suppose to have a 2.5 hour layover. As soon as we got off our first plane we were directed to American Airline security where they questioned me about my trip and what I did in Spain. Then I was directed to TSA where it took a long time to get through the lines. I got to my gate an hour before take off and they were already boarding. I didn't have a moment to take a bathroom break or grab a drink/snack. But again, this experience was not all that bad because all the positive notes listed above."
Plusy: "Flight departed and arrived on time. Good, friendly, efficient service on flight. Cabin crew took special care to arrange for those with on-going flights and tight connections to be accommodated to make these tight connections."

Minusy: "Arrived 3 hours early to CDG, and a long line to check a bag. It took so long, eventually they allowed people to cut in line as their flight departure times neared. 2+ hours later, I finally got to a kiosk to print my boarding pass and baggage tag, but now another line to drop off my bag on the conveyor belt. With less than 30 minutes to departure, and still haven't gone through security, I gave up and made my checked bag a carry-on as well. And then tight seats on the plane, with no individual screens (the movie played on a tiny screen 2 rows up in the aisle.)"

Minusy: "The organization with American Airlines at Charles de Gaulle was absolutely pathetic. I understand it's a busy airport, but NONE of the other airlines had lines like American did. Then by the time you get up to an American airline employee, incompetence was written all over their faces. The straw that broke the camel's back was that they insisted on separating my partner and me while doing security questions, meanwhile other parties who were together were not separated (LGBT discrimination). This pushed us back 10 minutes--we were separated and he was having to wait for me after the questioning to get my bag checked, too. I'll add that we arrived to the airport with over 2 hours to spare before our flight which should have been more than enough time. We probably would have missed the flight if not for a few decent Charles de Gaulle employees who bumped us though lines at customs when they realized the time crunch, no thanks to anyone with American Airlines. I heard so many saying they will not use American Airlines again, and how saving a few dollars was not worth the headache. Flying is already stressful enough, don't make it that much worse."
Minusy: "I paid hard-earned money for an expensive flight to Madrid. Not only were we very delayed on the way there, we were also delayed on the way back. We spent 3 hours back and forth on the tarmac stuck on an old bus in 100+ degree weather being delivered conflicting information, summed up to the seats being "broken". We got a "bathroom break" during which was talked to very rudely by the flight attendant at the gate, and then was almost left behind by the bus on the tarmac. Additionally, once we got onto the plane, it was extremely old (I'm talking no TV's, ashtrays on seats, filthy tables, dirty seats). To top it off, when I went to the restroom in the middle on the flight, I saw flight attendants drinking Tito's and soda in the back in the plane and talking loudly. I am not usually one to complain- but this was a particularly bad experience and terrible ending to my vacation."
Minusy: "The staff was rude not helpful and mean worst crew I've ever seen and I fly alot"
Minusy: "We boarded, sat on the plane for a while, backed up from the gate, then sat for a while longer. 3 hours later, we had to go back to the gate because we reached the legal limit they can hold us on the plane on the tarmac. Another hour and a half or so later, we finally took off for JFK. We missed our first connecting flight and the second connecting flight I was able to rebook."
Plusy: "The food was okay, and the flight attendants were lovely. That's about all the positive things I have to say about that."
Minusy: "The entertainment was high my list, only because you're stuck on a flight for many hours. Although I was exhausted because I had a 8 hour layover in Manchester, it would have been nice to have a couple of entertainment options. On my flight on British Airways from New York to Gatwick, we had so many movie and series options. These things are important on a long flight, otherwise the flight becomes torturous because you run out of things to do. On this flight, we had no choices, only what was given to us to watch. This made my flight unbearable."
Minusy: "They would not let me board for being less than 5 minutes late."
Minusy: "I didn't like the fact that I paid for 2 seats with extra legroom to find out that the entire plane was extra legroom. The flight attendants weren't friendly at all. I have had nothing but trouble with American for this past trip. From losing my reservation to this, it has been a nightmare. I hope I never have to fly them again, I tried complaining to customer service. You can't call them ; only email them. I could go on and on. They need lessons with their treatment of their passengers."

Minusy: "We get used to cramped conditions on domestic flights but normally get more for international flights. The 777 was very modern but small cramped seats (3 4 3 configuration) meant for a tough journey and almost impossible to sleep."
Plusy: "The British Airways flight to Europe had on-demand movies, with a screen on the back of the seat in front of you. The American Airlines return flight only had a cabin screen, where everyone watched the same movie. I will say, however, that the two movies I watched were excellent, so the outcome was fine (but given the option, I'd take the BA option of on-demand viewing!)."
Minusy: "The seats on the AA weren't quite as comfortable as the BA flight (seats sat pretty straight upright, and not too plush... but all in all, not terribly uncomfortable)."
