So we stood behind the rope on C while everyone else was boarding. I finally jumped to the moving line. I was tired of waiting. The kosher meals were warm, but not hot. There is no reason for this. I have been flying International for over 20 years and I know what is possible. The seats - for a 10 hour flight - were uncomfortable. Either I need more padding on my rear end or you need better seats."

Minusy: "I was first seated next to the two largest people on the plane, a couple. There was hardly room for me in the seat. I had the aisle seat. I asked the flight attendant if I could be reseated and she said the plane was full and there were no open seats. She eventually found me a middle seat in the back of the plane, which was so cramped I could harpy move. For a 10 hours flight, not good. I have gold status on Star Alliance, which got me an upgrade from Bishkek to Istanbul, but didn't help on this flight."

Had to go again through security with not enough staff, stood around 40min in a messy line with no air-conditioning​ or water to go thorough security again. There were elderly people having to do the same. Later, after landing, there was no parking for the airplane, so after 10 hours flight we we're held for 25 minutes inside the airplane. New regulations will make me reconsider using Turkish​ airline for US bound flights, although it's a great company, unless they find a more comfortable and organized way to do the security check."

Plusy: "My JFK to IST flight on Oct 21st, the plane was nice and new. The seats were comfortable and the entertainment was up to date. The food on this particular flight was good."
Minusy: "According to the Turkish Airlines site they offer free accommodations to passengers who have over 10 hr layover in Istanbul if you are an economy passenger. I was under this impression that I would fall under this category because when I initially booked the ticket (JFK - IST - LIS and return LIS - IST - JFK) my layover back to JFK was 18 hours. Two weeks prior to leaving for my trip I received a notification saying that the layover will be extended to 34 hours. Seeing that my layover was extended, I thought that Turkish Airline would offer me accommodation for both nights. When I arrived to IST (10:30pm local time) I went to the Turkish Airline transfer desk in which they said they would not allow me to have the 2 nights accommodation. After about an hour and half of discussion they could only offer me one night accommodation and changed my flight to an earlier flight. The attendant who was serving me told me to wait by the kiosk until my name was called. At the 30 minute mark I tried to ask another kiosk attendant to see what the status was and he replied back in a very rude manner saying he has no idea what I'm referring to and that essentially was not his problem. After another hour and half of waiting and seeing other frustrated passengers going to the transfer desk and not being helped, I went on the queue to see what the status of my ticket was. They finally gave me my ticket and at this point it was close to 1am. Thankfully I did research before hand and under the assumption that I was going to spend a day in Istanbul, spent $20 and got a Turkish visa prior to my travel, which according the the turkish consulate website that you can no longer get a visa while in the airport. I finally reached the airport hotel at 2:30am but the airport shuttle was to arrive in 4 hours to shuttle all the passengers back. So not only did I deal with a rude staff, but I paid $20 to be in Turkey for about 4 hours in an airport hotel."

The 11hour flight was more like being in a shopping mall for 11 hours, people getting up and walking everywhere, talking in the aisles-I understand the children crying-but kicking other peopmes seats is unacceptable and the flight staff should address that if their training allows."

Although we had all been up from 5am to get to early morning flight and Tashkent air port has no services, stewardess ran out of coffee and repeatedly refused to get me, the person skipped, coffee, despite repeated requests for a first cup. Each time they refilled coffee, they started run from beginning of plane, and ran out by the time they got to the middle. Usually if someone gets skipped, they just go back and get a single cup, but this lady was determined not to. Never had this happen in 55 years of flying. Serious caffine deficiency."

Security and Customs should be combined to expedite the process for passengers and crew members. I'm not suggesting not going through security, buy why couldn't we do it at the same place as customs? Too often Delta flights are delayed and I don't understand why Delta wouldn't do everything it could to expedite every part of the process for its crew and passengers. I went through TSA pre-check with Delta crew members. My connecting flight was delayed. We were waiting on the pilot..."
Minusy: "I wouldn't rate this flight on a five-star grid--I give it 0.0 stars. Delta's economy seats are so tiny that even a small person like myself finds it agonizing to ride in them for a moderate-length flight. We need aggressive regulation of our airlines to prevent the unconscionable and humiliating way they treat economy passengers. It's not safe, healthy or humane to ask human beings to sit for hours in tiny spaces with very little air (on top of everything else, the plane was mercilessly hot the whole time). Next time I will choose a European carrier--even the discount Euro carriers are better than any US airline."

Bardzo dobra obsługa, jedzenie i wygodne fotele. Pomiędzy fotelami na dole są gniazdka elektryczne a w oparciach z przodu złącza USB. Lepiej wziąć swoje słuchawki na małego jacka, bo te które rozdają mogą nie pasować dobrze do Twoich uszu;)

Wylot opóźniony o ponad godzinę bez podania przyczyn. Walizka nie doleciała. Odbiór,gdy dotarła tylko z lotniska, nie dostarczają do hotelu. KLM przesyłał mi informacje po holendersku zamiast po angielsku.

Minusy: "Our total flight time was about 17 hours - MAD- AMS-LAX. My husband and I both have an internationally approved carry on luggages with us. When we checked in - they asked us to both check in our carry on luggage. The reason why is because they said they don’t think they have enough space for our carry ons. I told the crew member checking us in that other people that was checking in with the same hand carry size luggage with us had no problems taking it with them. For being about to be on a 17 HOUR FLIGHT we should be ALLOWED to have our carry ons with us! We take carry ons for that reason! I had to argue and prove my case to the crew member to atleast keep 1 carry on with us. I thought that was an UNACCEPTABLE reason for us to check in a carry on luggage when we had a 17 hour travel time ahead of us. Not a happy costumer here."

Plusy: "On both of my flights to New York City, I was amazed at how friendly and helpful the flight attendants were to the passengers. On my short flight from Basel to Amsterdam, a young French speaking girl was concerned about how to manage getting to her next gate. The flight attendants talked to her and arranged for someone to take her there. On my longer flight from Amsterdam to New York City, there was a customer who was in distress about missing a previous flight and not making it to her connecting flight in New York. W danych pasażera wpisano mi nazwę firmy , i nie było możliwości to poprawić , więc w ogóle nie wpuszczono mnie na pokład samolotu i bilet przepadł za prawie 2000 zł , , ale będę do was pisała skargę Zaznaczam ,że nie pierwszy raz kupuję bilet przez internet i nie pierwszy raz lęcę samolotem , Uważam ,że błąd ten leży po waszej stronie , prosiłam o wystawienie FV na firmę, a nie o wpisywanie danych firmy jako pasażera , Pasażerem była Urszula Kaczmarczyk, Wasz błąd drogo mnie kosztował , musiałam zakupić kolejny nowy bilet za 3340 zł , wydałam na bilet grubo ponad 5 tys do Szwecji z wyrazami szacunku Urszula Kaczmarczyk

Note that on the JFK-BUD-JFK route, LOT subcontracts to a low-cost Portuguese airline, so this plane isn't configured for a trans-Atlantic flight, at least not for a minimal level of comfort. Never again. Pay more for a decent seat on another carrier! And take a large bottle of water, as they're not at all generous with the water, soda, and juice. My seatmate and I were parched and couldn't wait to clear customs so as to buy a bottle of water."
