Minusy: "The crew forgot to turn the heater on in -3°F creating a situation where the lavatory water lines froze. This caused a two hour delay which made me miss the second leg. Because I missed the second leg I was put on the very last flight out of ATL and got to spend Xmas eve in the airport."

There was a ton of movies from the 90s and the same movie selection from about 6 months ago when I traveled with them. Also, what is going on, with having to use your own cell phone to watch movies on the plane? Whatever happened to the screens in the backseat of the front seat? I ended up with neck pain from trying to watch a movie on my phone. Delta has become very cheap. It is going into some serious decline."
Minusy: "Let me just say that I’m a loyal Delta costumer until now. The flight attendants (the two women) were an absolute nightmare. They were so rude and condescending. I was carrying with me my service dog and a bag containing an expensive medication (it couldn’t go on the top bin). Despite being in the comfort class and having the seat next to me empty, we were tight for space. The flight attendants were unreasonable and forced me to put my medication on the top bin despite the fact I had told them it was extremely delicate, that it that to go upright, and that I needed to keep it with me. They did not listen and pressured me into giving them the medication. The medication could have easily gotten broken. Thankfully it didn’t but this is no way to treat a human being."

Actually, my Finnair flight was great - it was operated by BA, so it was a nice new double-decker Airbus plane. It was maybe 3/4ths full, so I nearly had a row to myself - shoutout to the jerk who decided he was entitled to the aisle seat. The flight was smooth and easy and best of all, it cost a fraction of what the BA price for a one-way from SFO to LHR cost."

When I got to Heathrow, the agent told me that was not true and everyone was able to book online.. Misleading!"

I may understand that food is not served but to pay for water is not a right thing to do. I asked the crew about this and I was told that bc other airlines charge for drinks/ food, BA also ask passengers for money. I have not had to pay for my drink like water on any other flight. I fly with all big airlines like American, Delta, Lufthansa, LOT, etc"
Minusy: "I am a 5’8 woman- pretty slim. I had a window seat in the main cabin. I barely fit! But the guy in the isle was bigger and had to wedge himself into his seat. As a result, I couldn’t leave my seat for the entire 9 hour flight. Come on BA! Have some compassion! These long flights need bigger seats."
Plusy: "My flight was over four hours delayed and I appreciated that when I got to the airport and found that out, I didn’t have to ask for anything but was immediately greeted with a food voucher. I lost an entire days worth of vacation in Germany, so well I do feel the British Airways should have done better and should’ve compensated me better, the fact that they immediately took steps to make the situation better was greatly appreciated. That level of customer service was beyond any I’ve received with an American-based airline. Also, the crew on the plane was fantastic and a great choice of movies. I flew American on the way home and was shocked at the lack of customer service and rudeness, I will happily fly British Airways again and again."

Minusy: "The boarding process was hampered by too many people putting too much carry on luggage in the overhead bins. Many put things in the overhead bins that could have been put under the seat. It didn’t seem like the crew was paying too much attention to this. In general the crew was pleasant, but there didn’t appear to be much sincerity in the pleasantries."

Minusy: "The delay was a bit of a bummer and it would have been nice to be compensated with more than a voucher that couldn't be used in LHR because it was in USD. I also would have liked to been told they were still planning on serving dinner despite the midnight departure; I fell asleep because they turned off the cabin lights and I assumed the meals had shifted, but instead I missed out of my dinner. Lastly, I am quite petite and still struggled with legroom."

Minusy: "This airline is one of the worst in Europe, for the simple reason of putting short-term profits ahead of decent treatment of the customer. My flight across the Atlantic was 4 hours late, and BA refused to put me on the next available to Prague, even though the lateness forced me to miss the BA flight I have been booked on. Their reason referred to a technicality in the booking procedure, but actually BA has put in place "policies" aimed at their financial advantage, over and above reasonable treatment of the customer. BA's refusal to rebook me cost me a lot of inconvenience (3 hours on the phone, for one thing) plus about $150 (I am taking another route to Prague); BA was then able to sell both my original seat and an extra seat on the next flight from Heathrow to Prague. I will never fly BA again in my life if I can help it."

Didn´t allow us enough time to get train, take bus, we had over 500 people lined up for bus, get through TSA, they pulled my suitcase for inspection, but didn´t look at it for 15 minutes until i called a supervisor as my connecting flight was leaving, and in fact, it had left as TSA does this purposefully and maliciously as it apparently happens all the time per ÇBritish Airways who had to reticket us. We had to return to A section another 20 minutes to be reticketed and luckily got on another flight to
Minusy: "Our flight from Denver to London was canceled at the last minute last night. The information from your email and the number given from you notifying me of the cancellation only gave British Airway to contact for redress. It took over an hour on the phone to get another flight which was 2 days later with now 2 days less of our vacation. Not to mention the loss of 2 hotel room payments. Kayak was of no help in this matter. Plus our flight reservation prohibited us from getting our flight on another flight the next day. If I had known that I never would have used Kayak. I am extremely unhappy with how this was handled. I expect to be reimbursed for our lost Hotel room costs and the costs associated with lost tours from you. Please contact me with how you will go about doing this."

On London airport, I was sent back for the gate because I showed up early and they ask me to take care of the screen and wait for the gate #, when they showed the # , I went to the gate and was told my flight had left an hour ago and sent me back walking . I was wearing an orthopedic shoe, due to a toe fracture and i had to walk again all this long distance back to the terminal.!! British airway gave another flight and had to pay $279 dlls for a ticket to Madrid.2 hrs later. My flight was by Iberia and the service. was excelent. I wonder if the insurance , I bought initially will cover something of the $ 279 dlls ticket ? Fligth back to EUA was by AA and service was excellent"
Minusy: "The seats on these flights are poor. As well as being narrow, there are bars on either side that dig in to your sides. My ongoing one hour domestic flight had more comfortable seats. Fod choice poor. Chicken Curry or Cheese/Tomato Lasagna. If I want a vegetarian meal I'll order one beforehand. Give me two meat options. This isn't the first time I've noticed this. Is it cost cutting? Seems like it to me. Not impressed."

Minusy: "There are no air vents on these planes! 4 of the 4 international flights of 10+ hours each did not have individual air vents. The heat was unbearable. We were sweating the entire time. There are individual computers in each row taking up some of the seat B (middle seat) legroom. These blow hot air and heat up the plane even more. I have never been on a flight where there weren't vents and it is the #1 reason why I won't be flying British Airways again. The TV screens are also outdated. The selection is alright but the screens are blurry and have a grid burned in on them."

At least they us we could rest in the BA lounge because I am elderly and disabled and we would have a 9 hour wait. Got to the lounge and we were not listed in the system. So we were denied entrance. We will have have spent 2 nights on a plane and 36 hours instead of one night and 16 hours. Rotten way to depend your 50th anniversary."

I loved that there were new release movies available for free. The staff was friendly and available. If I were to do another long flight like that, I would seek out British Airways."

Minusy: "We purchased upgrades to an exit row seat because my knee locks up when cooped up for that long. They changed the plane and I understand that happens but they denied our refund request with 7 days deadline to re-request. So now we have to spend valuable vacation time dealing with their incompetency"

Minusy: "Before we boarded I listened to a couple described how they always went ahead in line at boarding because no one ever stopped them. They described how they waited until group 3 was called and then went right through. While we were waiting, we watched them do it again. If you need to cram people into tiny spaces to be profitable, then you cannot allow them to make it worse by putting back their seats. I spent 90 minutes with a seat back jammed into my chest. We were ignored when handing out snacks, probably because we were invisible behind the seats pushed in our faces. It was one of the most miserable flights I’ve experienced."

Phily to Prg - Crappy old plane that should not be flying over seas anymore. Applies to both flights unless specified."

Minusy: "Checked in online on Finnair and automatically for the second connecting flight...and not the first -AA. So, had to check-in again for the first flight at the terminal. Board passes were printed 2 out of 3 by AA and both had errors - wrong gate for the first flight and no boarding info for the second connecting flight - just blank! AA did not provide connecting info until I found an unoccupied employee at the terminal and customer service lines were about 20 people in 2 locations I went to. The connecting info should be in the itinerary they said at customer service...nope, it was not there either!"
Minusy: "Staff seemed exhausted. American has no customer service phone to explain to customers what is going on. Bad experience all together."
Plusy: "The crew on both legs were attentive, especially in helping people with connections deplane in Dallas. Boarding was easy. Checking one suitcase for free was good."
Minusy: "the first leg of the flight was delayed. The information about when it would leave kept changing at the gate. I would have appreciated some extra food due to the delay... I was unable to get food in Dallas, which my scheduled layover time would have allowed."

Minusy: "We had five pieces of luggage lost during our flight from the U.S. to Spain. When we arrived in Madrid we were told that all five pieces had been located. When we went to pick them up the next day there were only four pieces at the airport. We were told the fifth suitcase would be delivered when it was located. It's ten days later and there's no sign of the luggage. It has taken multiple phone calls to get the information about the luggage correct. They assure me that they have everything correctly documented and then when I call back they haven't changed a thing. It has been a very frustrating process overall."
Plusy: "I hope I never fly American again!!! We were supposed to leave at 2.pm, but dud not until 11 pm. The AA customer service staff wanted to charge me $ for my carry on! We missed our connection of course! Had to wait 2 hrs at next airport for a hotel. Did receive food vouchers and luggage was checked in right away (good thing). But overall ridiculous! Missed an entire day due to AA not having another plain? Or not finding another way to put passengers in other flights."

Won't be booking any American Airlines flights throug Kayak again."

Minusy: "Initially we thought we were flying with British Airways. We then had to do some digging to realize it was all out of American Airlines. Then we couldn't get proper boarding passes and luggage tags until one of the crew members spent a significant amount of time untangling each leg of our trip so they were in the proper order. We got delayed by 4 hours in Chicago and missed our connection in Manchester. We had another 5 hour wait there. By the time we got to Dublin, our bags didn't also arrive. After almost 24 hours of travel, we arrived but without all of our stuff."

Minusy: "This was a long non-stop flight from Miami to Denver. Over 4 hours. So I took the plunge and bought first class. I always fly first class on any flight over 2 hours. However, I was disappointed. The food was so-so and insufficient. The drinks were also not enough. The video displays were small and poorly located for the movie. The seats seemed uncomfortable. All and all I have come to expect a better experience from American Airlines in First Class. The ticket was expensive."
