Plusy: "The aircraft (operating the route due to the COVID-19 shortage in traffic between the two cities) was extremely nice and quite/comfortable. The service was better than expected, as I didn't expect food to be served on dishes like it was during the pandemic. But it was amazing!"

The audio jack was also not working great; sometimes I did not have audio in my right earbud and I had to turn and fidget the plug. I paid extra money when I reserved the tickets in the USA to make sure I am on the same plane as the other three families that i wanted to be with as a group. They had reserved their tickets and I got the flight numbers and when I reserved my booking I paid extra to be on the same airplane as the rest of the group. My plan worked going to Vienna and to Cairo (although one of the planes were delayed 3 hours which ruined our stay in Vienna) but on the way back from Cairo to LA, I couldn't be with the group because I left 2 hours early and arrived in LA 2 hours late. I pleaded that I came with a group but they said I have a different booking so they couldn't honor keeping me on the same plane as the group. I am very disappointed and will avoid my future travel with Austrian airline"

They behaved like a low cost company with one answer to any request, and this is the word "NO". It does not seem logical that we ever go with Austrian again. We do deserve a compensation for the delay and the behavior."

The flight crew refused to intercept it and have it brought up to me at the aircraft. To make matters much, much worse, the flight crew eventually gave up and left, leaving me LOCKED inside the jetway for over 30 minutes after calling for a wheelchair. The replentishment crew refused to let me out of the locked jetway. Only after the wheelchair arrived was I let out of the locked jetway. I was taken to the Austrian Airlines service center where I lodged a formal complaint. Supervisor/Rene refused to upgrade my seat in any fashion to compensate for my distress. He did, however, arrange for me to given access to the VIP lounge and then taken to my VIE-SOF gate. Had I had a shorter layover, I would have missed my connecting flight."

I inquired about paying to change destination city and or seat to a premium seat (for the 9+ hour flight) when I recvd the reservations for the new flights that were made at the airport around 8am for flights that left at around noon and 3pm. I was told no better seat(s) was available. However, a half hour before the flight was boarded several announcements were made regarding all the upgrades that were available. Liars annoy me."

Sleep would be possible if there were enough room to rest one's head on the tray in front of the seat. This is impossible if the person in front of one's seat has reclined his or her seat. Thus, sleep is totally impossible on this aircraft. The sinks in the bathrooms also need to be deeper and need to drain more quickly."

Passengers were divided in 5 lanes, depending on their seating area withing the plane (for a more efficient boarding, I presume) but, by the time we all got to the actual aircraft, we formed another queue in the boarding bridge so it didn't feel like any time was saved or anything."

Nie polecam dokupywania tej opcji - podanie „plaltykowego”, sztucznego jedzenie na porcelanie nie jest warte swojej ceny. Nawet herbata była ochydna. Ekran systemu rozrywki nie działał."

Jak już wsiedliśmy, to pilot zakomunikował, że postoimy przy terminalu jakieś 40 minut, bo korytarze powietrzne zwężone, czy coś w tym rodzaju. Na ciepło posiłki tylko po starcie. Masakra jakaś."

Finally boarded and pilot announced they lost our bags. Waited on plane for another hour. Flight left 2 hours 15 minutes after scheduled. Food and drinks on the flight are ridiculously expensive. Asked for a meal and said they were out of stock. Seats were incredibly uncomfortable and too upright. The airline didn’t update the status of the flight online so my ride waited at the airport for 2 hours. overall 0/5 stars will not fly again unless ABSOLUTELY necessary."
