One bathroom was out of commission for our 14 hour flight and limited our section of the plane to one bathroom. The remaining bathroom was very dirty and lacked supplies. When I asked for some help to have it cleaned, the attendant told me she would have to lock it down but there was already a big line of people waiting to use it. Disappointed in this flight because it was so long with limited facilities. Enjoyed other times I had used Emirates but not this time."

Minusy: "I had updated for my flight from Jeddah to Dubai, but found that business class passengers were not given priority boarding and had to wait for all other passengers to board. The plane also took off late."

Minusy: "I am a 76 yr old traveller, did not get the change in flight schedule until I booked my flight. I was at Dubai airport for over 12 hours waited for the 3AM flight that took another 14 hours. Very stressful and tiring. There was not even a proper accommodation for this very long wait between flights. This experience will be told to all my friends and trust me it will be a very bad, negative endorsement."

Minusy: "We were sitting in row 36 (D,E,F,G). Everything was fine until we realized there was a leak in the plane. On take off and landing the A/C leaked all over our clothes and seats. When we reacted and stood up, the flight attendant screamed at us and told us to sit down. Afterwards, the flight attendant asked us what was wrong and she had realized that the AC had leaked on us. All she did was put towels on our seat and walked away. For at least 10 minutes I had to raise a towel to catch the water from dripping onto our heads during lift off and landing."

There was at least an extra foot of space between the end of their knees and the reclined seats in front of them. Wow. It was worth it! We had the aisle behind business class, and with only 3 middle seats vs 4, even our aisles were comfortably wide. The seat comfort has improved greatly from past flights on Lufthansa. The small pillows at each seat were comfy. We liked that the silverware was actually metal instead of plastic - nice! Loved loved loved the free good quality alcohol! Air temperature felt comfortable to us doing the entire flight – normally these flights are freezing cold."

On the previous occasion I had left behind my waist bag on the seat containing passports, cash and cards. Their lost and found desk retrieved it quickly, absolutely intact. On the last occasion, my mother in law, who is over 85 was taken care of very well at not only Delhi but especially at the Frankfurt airport. I must truly acknowledge young lady Jessica's efforts, in ensuring that everything was handled very caringly by her personally, for an old lady at the Frankfurt airport."

Actually about 5 Boarding areas were down no one was available to give direction or answer questions until you got To the front of the line and many had to be sent then to a different line. Bad enough the terminals were down but not even close to German efficiency in handling the problem. Also several of the stewards were rather surly and short"

As we were concerned for our daughters health, we asked the flight attendants if we could lmove to the bulkhead that was open at the front of the plane. They wanted to charge us $500 EACH to move, even though the seats were open. One of the flight attendants even commented how terrible it was for our baby to have a row of sick people behind us, yet they refused to move us. Fast forward, our daughter ended up getting sick during our trip to Florence, and now my husband is sick. As such, we’ve had to miss out on things during our vacation. It would not have been difficult to move us to empty seats in the front of the plane, so we could use the bassinet we paid for. This small gesture would have made our flight and our trip much better."

Minusy: "Late arrival in Munich, missed connection to Krakow, no rebooking and nobody cared that we, 3 people, get to our destination the same day. Spent 12 hours ( 10 am to 10 pm ) at Munich airport not knowing if and/or when we get on the plane, hoping to be on 10 pm flight, not making any connection all day long. Suggestions to fly through different city or on different airline we’re met with shrug and “ not possible “ reply. Having one Omaha Krakow Lufthansa ticket made no difference to anybody. Horrible experience specially that one of us was 80 years old. Will never fly with Lufthansa again. None of my friends will. Dreading my flight back. Kasia Bradley"

She has to eat just fruits. My mother is a diabetic patient and she needs a food every after some time. I never had such a bad experience before with any other airlines."

Then it was back thorough security and a rush to the gate to get there in time to board. Lost our original seat assignment and wound up in the last row at the tail of the plane. Extremely poor coordination between KLM and Delta who operated the flight."

Minusy: "Dear Sir or Madam: My two colleagues and I bought our tickets from BWI to Geneva, via London Heathrow, through Kayak as I have many times in the past. However, the Kiwi.com travel agency did not flag that the ticket from BWI to London Heathrow allowed for one piece of checked luggage, but the ticket from London Heathrow onwards to Geneva did not allow for any checked luggage. Also astonishingly, we had to pass through Customs, reclaim our checked suitcases from the baggage carousel, and check in again through Customs to board the onward flight, both coming and going through London Heathrow. In addition to the extraordinary inconvenience that we could neither transit at London Heathrow to our connecting flight without going through Customs twice and that we could not check our luggage through to our final destination, we also had to foot a higher baggage charge to allow for checking in our suitcases, now that we had arrived in London Heathrow only to discover this that our onward ticket did not cover one piece of checked luggage. Had we known that the seemingly better price posted by Kiwi.com on Kayak’s comparative offerings came at such a high price of inconvenience and additional expense for the luggage, we would have taken our business elsewhere. It was deceptive of Kiwi.com to engage in such practices, even if it disclosed these conditions in fine print (for no one would expect, nor have I ever seen previously in the hundreds of flights I have taken as a Million Miler on United), without flagging this. And similarly, it was irresponsible of Kayak.com to allow this “apples with oranges” comparison on its website. I’m making three more international trips in December, but I’m inclined not to use either Kayak.com and most certainly not Kiwi.com for future airline ticket purchases."

Minusy: "It is ridiculous to have elderly passengers made to carry heavy luggage up and down multiple steep stairways. This happened in Dublin, Edinburgh and of all places, Heathrow was the worst. There is no excuse not to have level walkways and Entrances to these large planes. Totally unacceptable given the prices we pay to travel."

Plusy: "This was a connecting flight from London originating from SFO. There were delays after boarding so we departed later. But we survived."

Minusy: "It’s your basic flight from A to B. Nothing fancy."

We experienced crazy long lines for: the bus between terminals, immigration passport review; passport review before the metal detector, and detailed tests on permitted volumes of shampo, and toothpaste. The agent forced me to check a normally permitted carryon bag, then the bags took 45 minutes to be placed on the turnstile after the flight. Not an efficient airport."

They may not agree with how Americans do their security but for the pilot to make a comment in a negative connotation regarding the Americans and how they run their security before we left London was really inappropriate and I was very disappointed."

Minusy: "I asked for coffee. Paid 4 pounds for it, it was AWFUL. not brewed, no taste, bitter, no cream available to add to it. If you charge such prizes, you better offer decent coffee. I can get late or capuchino at Starbucks for less and far better quality."

Minusy: "The flight left an hour late with no explanation. Then when we arrived in Toronto we sat on the runway for another hour waiting to be able to disembark. At this point the crew became testy and offered no explanation while passengers were understandably aggravated."

Minusy: "Sat on tarmac for over an hour prior to takeoff due to "refuelling difficulties - plane fault. No coffee on a 6 am flight!!! No offer of water, snack whilst waiting on plane."

Minusy: "Most uncomfortable flight I can remember in last couple years. My knees were squeezed into the seat in front, and when they reclined, the seat was like 1.5 cellphone lengths from my face. The particular route from SD to Toronto squeezes 15 more seats on this popular plane, making it the least knee room I can remember. I wouldnt say Air Canada has less legroom as a generalization, but this route and plane assigned has the least. I guess if you're taller, do a little research on the planes for your routes. No actual wi-fi was kind of annoying. You can access some content, but no real internet connection."

Plusy: "We were eventually given meal vouchers. We also ended up staying an extra night on their coin since we had to miss our connecting flight.We were treated fairly but slowly. We would have had an eight hour transit in Vancouver but with the new flights there was one hour connection. With the replacement flight also late our luggage did not make it and we were not informed until we reached Australia."
Minusy: "There were little babies and young children waiting with their parents to board this flight. Would have liked more consideration for them but the little ones all behaved so well! Updates were slow and then we had to pick up our luggage and wait in an area where there were no seats so we had to sit on the hard floor (or stand) for a long time."

Minusy: "When I arrived in Seoul, Asiana would NOT grant lounge access. I had a business class tkt to Korea, and Asiana does NOt offer biz class to my destination...very huge let down."

Plusy: "The process was ridiculous to get booked for a flight that morrow and get to hotel"

Plusy: "The flight was relatively empty, so there was a lot of room. Had it been full, I'm not sure I would have rated comfort so highly."

Plusy: "No delay. The plane came half an hour early which is ok. There was no complimentary food but drinks were offered. It would have been nice if peanuts/cookies/chips were offered. There was no entertainment so the rating was 1star. Emails were sent to inform us of changes in schedule and also to check in on line. Leg room is good as we can stretch our legs (I guess you can say that we are not that tall) we wish to travel again with Air Canada in the future."

Minusy: "I did not like aircanada changed my sit without asking me.I did not like delays."

Plusy: "The experience on the flight from san diego to Toronto was excellent from curb side there all the way to baggage claim in Toronto. The service by ground staff on both sides was excellent, The staff on board was helpful, efficient and very polite. In flight Entertainment was good too, unlike on the way to San Diego when the choice was so limited it was not worth my time to use it."

Minusy: "getting off the airplane and no staff or better signs in Calgary to direct me to get my bag, and where to go with it. to customs drop off my bag. and the gate was poorly marked (granted there was construction) but no staff out of the gates in the area where I left from to ask for verification. Minusy: "Economy seating is no longer designed to fit any passenger who is even slightly above average height."

Minusy: "Our connection in Toronto was toooooooo short for seniors 70 years old."

Minusy: "When you roll up on clerk at the check-in counter and she's already eyeing your carry-on bag you know you're gonna have a problem. My bag was purchased a month ago and I made sure it met all major airline specs so when she immediately told me I'd have to check it, I told her it would fit no problem in her little mold. She insisted that it would not and I'd have to PAY to check it. I picked it up and easily popped it into the mould but my zipper snagged on the way in and she said that I was not allowed to "force" it in. I then easily lifted it in and out twice without the zipper snagging. Then she insisted that I weigh it. 22lbs is not much at all so I figured I might get caught here but to my surprise I was only at 23lbs. So she immediately said I would have to pay because I was over weight.... BY 1 LB! So I opened my bag and took out bag of carrots and put it back on the scale. She was so pissed that she couldn't charge me anything that she never made eye contact for the rest of the process. She then said that because I had my cat with me I could not sit in the row I had booked because it was an exit row. I insisted that it was not an exit row as I had just flown on the plane four days earlier with my cat in the same seat. She refused and moved me to a row with less leg room despite my having paid for the upgraded seat (I'm 6'4"). Upon boarding, I confirmed with the flight attendant that my original row was NOT an exit row. It was behind the exit row and there are no restrictions for that. One terrible staff member is all it takes to ruin a flight. Air Canada Rouge also happens to be a soda can with wings so that doesn't help."

Minusy: "Moved to another flight despite the fact we were on time to make the flight through security."

Plusy: "The crew are very friendly and helpful."
Minusy: "Seats are very small with little legroom. My husband is 6"1 and sat in a middle seat. His knees were jammed into the seat in front of him. Full flight so he could not be reseated. There is no entertainment system which was ok since it was a red eye flight. I've have flown on many local and international carriers and the space on this aircraft was amongst the smallest I've come across."

Minusy: "Delayed 20 minutes"

Minusy: "The person behind me kept kicking my seat and yelling at me to not recline my seat. I called a crew member over and asked if I wasn't allowed to and he said well she does have long legs. I paid for economy knowing the room that I was going to be given .. If she didn't like having her legs squished she should have upgraded her seat and the crew member shouldn't have allowed me to be uncomfortable and not having the same luxuries as the rest of the customers."

Minusy: "The flight attendants were inconsiderate of the wishes and comfort of the passengers. Food and drink were offered for sale in tourist class shortly after takeoff in the morning. Since I had just had breakfast, I asked if the food and drinks would be available later. The answer was probably not, which indeed was the case. This was on a five hour flight. When I did want food and drink, I had to go to the attendant at the back of the plane. I was able to have a drink delivered to purchase a drink, but the one food item I wanted was not in stock. (This was from the beginning, and was also the case on the outgoing flight a week earlier. I was informed that I could not use my noise cancelling headphones, designed and purchased largely for flying during takeoff and landing, but had to use ear buds, which I did not have, do not like, and as a senior with hearing aids find uncomfortable. Thus, I missed the benefit of their noise cancelling feature and much of the movie I was enjoying. On the earlier flight, one of the two toilets was unavailable, causing long waits, but the attendant in the front of the plane refused to allow me to use that toilet, which was available. When I protested, she answered the same way perpetrators of crimes against humanity did "I am just following orders." Where is the concern for the humanity of a senior citizen? Also the previous flight connections was scheduled too closely so that with security and border clearance, I was barely able to board at the last minute, thus causing a great deal of stress, no time to ear or use the toilet at the terminal, once again unhealthy stress and discomfort, no concern for the humanity of the passenger."

Minusy: "Cold airplane, but all airplanes are cold and I'm always cold."

Minusy: "We were stuck at the back of the plane with the kids who don't behave."
