Everything was very good, with the exception of the amount of food/snacks we were provided. This flight was 10 hours long, plus we sat on the tarmac for almost two hours for the de-icing (no complaints about that). And during all this time we were given one hot meal, which was a good quality. Plenty of drinks and water. But after that - no snacks and no food until about two hours prior to landing. And then it was only a cold sandwich. They stated after boarding that 'service was going to be limited' during Covid restrictions. We can understand that, but we should have been notified before boarding or the airline should have found the way to distribute some packaged food/snacks during boarding, to limit crew's interaction times. Instead, we were not prepared to be starving on a transatlantic flight! We've flown many time before, but this was the first time we were literally hungry. And we had no food with us, because you are not allowed to bring any food into US.

Lufthansa IT meltdown prevented online check-in. Even though the US has just now allowed tourist visits to the States to resume, and Lufthansa is booked solid, they staffed only one third of their check-in counters to sort out all the ESTA and vaccination paperwork-related issues. Arrived two hours pre-boarding, lines around the terminal. Needless to say, they had me wait until I missed the flight (all my paperwork was in order, and I didn't have checked luggage). Berlin Flughafen, Deutsche Bahn, Deutsche Lufthansa; it's sad to see what Germany has come to. Lufthansa has fallen far behind the industry benchmarks. Their inept IT, middling on-board product and inability to synch their systems with Star Alliance partners (I was on a United Codeshare) make them a poor choice for international travel. This trip will have been my last with them.

There could be some more leg space in the economy class.

I also like that there were diabetic and vegetarian meals offered, although the diabetic meals should ideally focus on lower carbohydrate totals. Fruits and breads can pack just as much sugar as sweets."
Minusy: "Starting with the boarding area at LAX, there was some really high pitched siren that kept going off over and over which no one seemed to care to investigate or do anything about. It was very irritating, and seemed to put lots of passengers in a bad mood before the plane even started boarding. Then when they announced boarding was beginning, everyone got up and created massed around creating four chaotic lines. It was a mess. We left 45 min late, which caused us to run to make our connecting flight because the person at the gate never told us it was also going to be leaving late. The plane itself was extremely uncomfortable as well. I'm 5'8" tall and that's mostly torso. I fit easily in the back seat of my buddy's mini Cooper, and I could barely fit in the space without my legs hitting the seat in front of me. That was before the guy in front of me put his seat back and made it so I could barely reach under my seat. Then there was the control panel for my personal video monitor. The panel was located on the armrest in just the right spot where Everytime I put my hand down I accidentally pressed a button to call the flight attendant, or turn the video screen on off, which was really obnoxious when I was trying to sleep and kept accidentally turning on the bright screen which woke me up. The video monitors we're also touch compatible, but the screen was horrible about registering finger presses which led to the lady in the seat behind me smashing the screen as hard as she could repeatedly with her finger, which vibrated all the was through my headrest so I could feel it as if she were trying to get my attention. There was also no air flow above the seats... You simply had to rely on the flight attendant to set a temperature that the whole cabin enjoyed, or you had to suffer silently. Finally, the reading lights on the plane we're so high up that turning one on lit up all the seats around you as well, which meant you had to choose to either sit in the dark and not read, or turn on your light and read quietly while the people around you cursed your name while attempting to get some rest."

One woman who I finally talked to in Frankfurt spent an hour with me when i was utterly exhausted and there were No more flights or hotels left She was To be commended. The rest was chaos and exhausting and I still have another flight tomorrow."

I have siliver status on United and was told that there was no way to be considered for upgrade to different seat. I was told that the list was already full of higher priority customers. Yet at the same time the same employee announced those seats were available for purchase at $200 Euro for others. It seemed in both cases Lufthansa shuffled around passengers out of their selected seats for unknow reasons and also werent honoring frequent flier status programs for changing seats. Furthermore, the in seat entertainment did not work and it took quite a bit of effort including trying to move seats to get the flight attendants to reset the system (they said it would affect other customers who didnt have problems with their entertainment system). 8+hour flight is long flight to not have the system working. eventually the fixed it a couple of hours into the flight."

We first flew to Lviv and then they turned the plane around and came back as we were landing. I appreciate that they did this for safety reasons. When we got back however at 2:30am, they did not provide us with a hotel and just gave us blankets and pillows to sleep in the airport. They also offered us only a piece of bread with ham and cheese and a coffee for the next 12 hours until the new flight left. Not a pleasant experience."

I had to sit on an angle (one butt cheek at a time) for 9 yours. I do not have a big butt either. This seat should have been a discounted seat, not a premium seat. I am so angry about this, I will NEVER fly Air France again."

We were told that it was just a half an hour delay by the man that was informing us of the delay and then we were then told by a woman that it was going to be over an hour. We weren’t told any specifics of why the plane was delayed, other than: “ the engineers are looking at the issue now”. We received messages saying that the flight was cancelled but then we were told to ignore that. We were told that we would have an update every 10-15 minutes but by the time we had the next update was 1 hours later, we were told that the plane will depart at 15:50- which we did. But we also sat on the plane for an extra 2 hours or maybe even more (couldn’t bare watching the time at this point) because the man that was supposed to push the plane backwards in order to reverse the plane didn’t turn up so we then had to wait for all of the other planes to take off before we could. Eventually the plane set off at 18:20 and I got in France 19:30-20:00 ish?"

Minusy: "The boarding process was horrible and it involved climbing down steep stairs from the air tunnel to the tarmac to board a bus that took us to a far distance where the plane was parked. Had to new walk in the sweltering heat to the plane can climb up steep stairs in the heat! We were now kept in the plane for another hour with no aircondotion. It was boiling hot in there. We had to use the safety manuals to fan ourselves. We eventually left late and got to Lagos one and half hours we were meant to get there. Lastly not all the luggage arrived. Two days into my arrival and I am yet to get all my luggage. It was truly a horrible experience which was echoed by fellow passengers."
Plusy: "We got to the desk to check in and there was one person being served in front of us. He finished with him, turned and left the area through the dooor. No one came to help us for 15 minutes. Then they came out to answer the phone and said we were 10 minutes past the cut off and we could not fly."
Minusy: "Staff just walked away while we were in line, the rudeness and mean attitude, they blamed us for being too late after ignoring us and made us late, they didn't offer an alternative flight until we asked. Overall, horrible customer service. Never been treated so rudely by people in the airlines industry in my entire 42 years of flying!"

Nowiutki samolot, płynny lot, super system rozrywki na pokładzie (filmy itp na telefonie / tablecie pasażera), b.przyjemna przekąska, napoje i ciastka. Dawno nie latałem LOTem, było miłe zaskoczenie.

I booked the flight and then they canceled it, i tried changing the dates but the website was giving me an error so i called them, after being on the phone for 2 hr some guy answered who seemed very tired and not thrilled working for LOT. Rood and not helpful, told me to try FB messenger and online changing again. Failed to get a voucher, refund or change the dates online, was still getting an error. on messenger they answered and told me i can get a voucher, i told them i don't want it and after that they stopped replying all together. good thing i got my money back by filing a dispute with my CC company."
