Plusy: "Overal very comfortable and good service aboard plane."
Minusy: "Sat on plan after boarding for an extended time before takeoff. I think it was a maintenance thing. It happens so no biggie. Table and magazine pocket needed cleaning from prior flights. Made me uneasy from a cleanliness point of view so they took a hit on comfort."

As the crew members went around aking if you want Tea or Coffee, I said I wanted coffee. The coffee was cold so I couldn't even drink it, i know I can ask for another one but I felt so disappointed that I'd rather have nothing. My monitor had lots of weird lines on them as the colors were so off on some areas and good on other areas."

Minusy: "They did not have special meals that I ordered but the crew tried their best to make it up. But they had the same collection of movies both ways. My return flight was a month later. Entertainment set of was pretty good on their Boeing 777-300Er flight, but average on the A380-800. The 16 hour flight will not be pleasant for most. Why the toilets are so compact? I would pay extra for bit more room. This is a problem with all airlines. They allowed me to take a laptop and a hand baggage in LAX but forced me to check in the hand bag in Dubai. They pick random passengers for this. Irritating."

Minusy: "1. I had put in a request for vegetarian meals, but my request was ignored. At meal time, I was given a choice between chicken and lamb. I again asked for vegetarian, and was told they didn't have any. The white guy in the next row asked for the same, and it magically appeared. The attendant noticed my shocked stare and then gave me a veggie meal too. 2. On a 16 hour flight, our tv screens didn't work. None of the attendants even came by to check, even after repeatedl requests. 3. My 6 and 9 year old kids would like to know why they didn't get any of the courtesy toys/coloring books that were given to other similar age kids. I don't want to tell them it was due to their skin color. 4. Even a request for water turned into a tug of war after we had waited for almost 20 minutes. I finally poured it out myself."

Minusy: "The screen blacked out mid flight (on a 16 hr long flight!) and there was nothing anyone really tried to do to fix it except 'reset' which did nothing. Unfortunate this happened when the flight was so long."

Plusy: "They canceled our flight because they were over booked ,we had to stay overnight , overall very unhappy with the airline , they forced us to purchase new tickets , will take legal action against the airline"

Plusy: "The best economy seating out there. Emirates still makes you feel like a person even though you are in economy. Unlike other airlines Emirates flight crew treats you very well, they are polite, the food is good and the seating is very comfortable. It makes a 16 hour flight pleasureable. Thank you Emirates!!!"

After a couple of hours is when the pain starts. If the seat back was moved forward, you would not sit on this edge. Please fix. Not sure I could fly on a 380 again for this duration."

I also enjoy being advised by the flight crew of any impending turbulence before we encounter. Emirates has always provided me an excellent flying experience despite my fears of long distance traveling."

Minusy: "I am disappointed by the lack of communication among Delta staff when we arrived at LAX. Our turn-around was late coming into SMF, thus late leaving. It would have been very helpful if the gate staff at LAX had advised me to not bother to try to make my connection, or called the next gate to tell them we were running over there. RUNNING. Or at least done something to act like they cared. I am disappointed by the lack of initiative. I understand flights cannot wait, and I would have greatly appreciated being saved the trouble of running to a different terminal and instead taking that time to change my travel plans. They may see travelers struggling like this daily, but to each traveler, a hiccup in travel plans trip is stressful and urgent. I ask Delta staff to please consider that when they come to work. Thank you."

Minusy: "Short flight didn't provide food or beverage service. Cabin crew announcements were rapid & muffled, difficult or impossible to hear or understand. Would not have felt confident if there'd been an emergency."

Plusy: "Pretty much nothing related to the entertainment system... It is nice that you can play movies for free over WiFi on your phone or tablet (since the in-seat system simply didn't work...), but, bizarrely, the WiFi movie selection was different from (and substantially smaller than) the seat movie selection. What's that about? And the WiFi movie scheme is way more painful than it needs to be, requiring you "check out" movies using your web browser, then switch to a separate app to actually watch the movies. Clearly the product of a company mindset whose ONLY concern is "can we check some box", with absolutely no interest in "how can we delight our customers?""
Minusy: "So we get the same entertainment system all these flights use: some ghastly totally non-optimized Linux setup that was rebooted three times during the flight, took 20 minutes for each reboot, and never worked correctly after any of the reboots. (The only movie my system would ever play was the very first one, and none of the on-screen controls worked. The seat next door could choose multiple movies, but each movie froze after 40 minutes). The amazing thing is: why don't they just install a damn iPad mini or Android equivalent in the back of each seat? Would be lighter than what they have today and would work FAR better. You'd need some co-ordinating/provisioning software to provide for OTA announcements and movie updates, but basically it's not that hard... At the very least, hire a Linux-head to optimize your startup scripts! It's just sad to see this 20 minute startup process (all dumped on the screen) with its constant repetition of time-wasting startup steps that just generate errors on this plane's particular hardware setup..."

Minusy: "Everything that could have gone wrong with my flights, went wrong. On my way from LA to Raleigh (through Atlanta), I was affected by the weather conditions at Atlanta. I understand that the weather is beyond Delta's scope of control, but customer service is not. I had to wait in line at LAX for 8 hours to even get information on what had happened, and what solutions were available. The customer service call center was collapsed, and at the airport counters at one point there was ONLY ONE DELTA REPRESENTATIVE serving a line of more than 100 upset customers. This IS Delta's fault, and it is unacceptable. This definitely was under Delta's control, but in order to save a few dollars in overtime for emergency staff Delta was willing to let its customers make terribly long lines, miss their flights, their connections and consequently their commitments. It is disappointing to observe how Delta believes that a few dollars saved on extra staff and emergency measures can offset the irreparable long term damage to its business due to upset customers. My way back from Raleigh to Los Angeles was also a disaster. Without any type of explanation and nothing more than an email announcing the change, the nonstop flight I bought was replaced by a 1-stop flight with connection in Atlanta. This was NOT THE PRODUCT I PURCHASED. There is a reason I paid a premium for a nonstop flight, and Delta did not hesitate in providing me with a less valuable product without any explanation or refund. Delta prioritizes its operational metrics - an obsession to fill and overbook its capacity - over its customers' experience, one again under the foolish belief that short term savings in any way offset the long term damage of disappointed and alienated customers. I will NEVER FLY DELTA AGAIN. I will do whatever I can to transmit my experience to everyone I know. At a time where major airline carriers are in the spotlight due to abusive practices (i.e. the United passenger case), I still find hope in knowing that alternatives such as Southwest still put their customers first, over the ethereal benefits that a few-dollar savings in operational expenses can provide."

Minusy: "Sat in Delta Comfort and a loyal Delta flier, except had the bad fortune of taking off at 830 ATL time and apparently Delta doesn't find it important or a good idea to sell food after that time. The logic behind this is beyond me. I'm willing to pay $9 for a few cheese slice and crackers or a sandwich yet they don't offer anything, not even to first class which would really irritate me had I paid 1000 bucks. Ontop of that the crew which is normally excellent, was feisty and rude and wanted nothing to do with their job"

Plusy: "I liked that the security line experiences very mellow, the staff all around was very friendly and nice, the TV's were great and they had free blankets and headsets. It was a very relaxing experience."
Minusy: "thought the cabin could have had more heat"

Minusy: "Connection flight from LAX to Seattle was dropped off of booking completely. When Delta was able to fix the changes in Sydney Australia they put my husbands ticket as a standby instead of putting him in an assigned seat and reported that they couldn't fix it that we would have to wait and get to LAX before the changes could be made again. There was a one and a half hour flight delay from LAX to Seattle. From Sydney Australia to LAX entertainment system didn't work the whole entire flight, they were screaming children the entire flight, and Delta had double booked seats on several different people. There were no apologies and no compensation for any of the incidences."

Plusy: "I loved the service provided by the flight attendants as as well as the gate attendant who poked, prodded and did what he could to ensure our already late flight took off before it got stuck waiting for a gate at LAX. Thanks to him and the work of the crew, not only did the flight leave ASAP, our flight arrived early."
Minusy: "I didn't like that the monitor for my seat was on the fritz and inoperable, which became a huge issue because of what follows. Making matters exponentially worse was the roughly 30-minute delay we experienced when we landed. Although our flight arrived at LAX early - in spite of the late departure from SLC - we were left waiting for a gate and were forced to wait for a gate. Inexplicably, the AC was turned off and the passengers all began to virtually cook while stuck in our seats. Also, due to another asinine snafu (the grounds crew didn't push a flight far out enough and blocked our plane along with eight others, which delayed our flight further. Adding insult to injury, my baggage was over 30 minutes late, too."

Plusy: "The crew was professional and efficient. This includes the ground personnel that had to cope with a grossly overbooked flight. I was upgraded to comfort+ at the gate."
Minusy: "Fed up with the .4 oz pretzels. The arrival in LAX was chaotic. We had left on-time and were told that we would arrive approx. 20 minutes early. Ha! First landing attempt had to be aborted, the landing not being cleared by the control tower. Then we cruised, circling over the Ocean, and the lights of the city again. Finally we landed. Taxiing on the tarmac was interrupted many times, and took overall 30 minutes. The pilot kept informing us. I was probably not the only passenger that had and urgent need to reach a bathroom... Of course, Delta should not be blamed"

Minusy: "I had a reserved Comfort Class Aisle seat, purchased at time of reservation and showing as my assigned seat through printing of boarding pass. At the gate, my seat was reassigned to a middle seat. This is a huge problem for me, as my back and leg injuries require the ability to stretch and move frequently. When complaining on Delta phone lines, I was told that the seat was needed for a Diamond member and therefore was "policy" to bump. Although I eventually received some compensation for the fact I paid more for the original seat, I remain very disappointed in Delta, if this is indeed the policy."

Plusy: "The following day had different employees working so they weren't as rude as they were on my original day of travel."
Minusy: "Having a domestic leg of travel that includes ATL to LAX as part of your international travel plans is horrible with Delta Airlines. The rude gate employee decides to check my carry on piece to my destination. I explain that I have a14 hour connection and I need the small arty on piece for that flight. I was asked to talk to the other gate employee while they gave my seat away. It's horrible how rude and dismissive they were. I asked for compensation but they started to lie. Apparently I 'gave' up my seat. Once the shift manager started to help me, I thought things would've ok. It got worse. The Delta training took over. Both employees repeated the exact same words about me volunteering my seat so there's no compensation. It cost me a hotel night and 24 hours. I will avoid Delta at all costs... and I know it will be difficult since flying through ATL is pretty much alway Delta. But, it's too much. Lying, rude and dismissive employees at various levels of management. Horrible"

Plusy: "I fly frequently and overall the flight was great. My biggest complaint is that as a paying customer (vs non rev) I think it is kind of crazy that I did not have an assigned seat until I walked onto the plane. I really disliked tjis process. I found it to be an unnecessary stress. When I asked the gate agent about it I didn't get a clear answer as to where I will be sitting. I'd much rather know what my seat number is before I board the plane. Other then this bizarre process. Everything was great."

Minusy: "Paid for an upgrade but the seat was not what I had asked for. The agent said I would get a refund but I was not clear on how that works. Our plane experienced a mechanical issue. We were told after we boarded. Had to wait 1 1/2 hours in a stuffy hot plane. The bathrooms were very dirty and stinky. The bathroom door did not close properly. We finally deplaned and waited for a new plane. Got to Kona at 2:00am. The air temp was warm the entire flight. Had to endure a grumpy crew. Not the best flying experience. I know you can do better. Maybe look at how Hawaiian airlines does it and you might get some inspiration on how to improve."

Minusy: "The person taking tickets asked me to check my bag. I said ok and he instructed me to step aside and taking anything out of it that I might need. I did this and when I came back they had locked the doors."

"I liked that once up, things ran more smoothly and we still landed on time despite a 45+ minute delay leaving the gate. The boarding process was another story. With the demand for proof of a negative COVID test prior to boarding by the US, Air France had just 2 staff members checking these tests results, collecting a paper affidavit of sorts also required by the US, and checking boarding passes and passports for an entire Boeing 777 full of passengers. There were other staff around This seemed preposterous. Then, when I finally boarded, the luggage was still be loaded onto the plane at 1:50pm for a flight schedule to leave at 1:15pm."

"I wrote a review to Delta already expressing my dislike of the fact that I could not get a seat assigned upon checkin or even at the airport until maybe 1 hr before my flight. The cabo representative (not part of the flight crew based from Los Angeles) was rude and not accommodating, so my wife and I had to sit separately, which was frustrating to say the least, given I had followed the entire online check in protocol, including uploading digital copies of my negative COVID-19 test."

Minusy: "I bought a ticket thinking i bought it through kayak but I actually bought a ticket through a third party in India. Where no one spoke good English. I called the agency to find out if I needed a Visa for my visit to Australia and the told me no. So when I showed up to the airport I didn’t have the right documents and I MISSED MY FLIGHT. Also the wouldn’t just change my flight and charge me the change flight fee. They cancelled my flight entirely and made me buy a whole new ticket!!! Worst flight experience I’ve ever had and this is not my first time flying to Australia or out of country."

Minusy: "I sat next to a creepy intoxicated man during my flight and I was not helped out. When I first sat down he was speaking to me and trying to hit on me but I showed that I wasn’t interested. I didn’t even have to sit down to smell the alcohol on him. During the flight he tried to place his head on my shoulder and tried to get close to me. I was too worried to call for an attendant because he was intoxicated but when the attendants would come and offer us food I tried to make it clearly visible that I was anxious and uncomfortable and NOTHING. To make it worse they continued to serve him alcohol!!"

Some of the flight attendants were very unfriendly and seemed to be bothered by the fact they had to do their job. The entertainment system had to be rebooted multiple times and the usb on the seats didn’t work. They ran out of food during lunch."

I paid for this incompetence by missing Christmas and a business meeting. Do not think it will never happen to you, it is just a matter of time that this kind of bad service catches up to you. The system is so disconnected or careless that it can't even figure out I couldn't take the flight which it is is asking me a review for."

I don't think they have a way to take money! This was the best flying experience I have ever had! The plane itself was also very nice. There was touchscreen in front of me with all kinds of entertainment plus a USB charger for my phone. They also made sure the closest connecting flight folks had gate attendants waiting for them. The service is phenomenal all the way around!"

Minusy: "An elderly woman was booked in a window seat and she insisted she take my aisle seat without any additional available aisle seats. However, this would be better handled when she requested for assistance during her booking process. The crew should've anticipate her needs and booked an aisle seat, or even be the ones to ask me or another passenger if I would be willing to trade. I was placed on the spot and no courtesy was shown to me. My legs were completely swollen and in pain because I wasn't able to stand periodically. I too booked my flight early and requested my seats appropriately for my health needs."

Minusy: "You had a very disrespectful, illogical, anal retentive person at the ticket gate just before getting on the shuttle. She would not allow us to wait for the rest of our party of 2 to go on the shuttle to the plane together. They were delayed because of your personal continually bringing other people to cut in line in front of them. There was plenty of time and the shuttle was already full, and we wanted to wait for the next shuttle to board the airplane together. She came out several times from inside of the building shouting at the three of us to get on the shuttle even when the person managing the shuttle flow at the bottom of the stairs was about to let us wait for the next shuttle. What was her problem(?) - she could use a lot more people skills and realize who pays her salary - the customers. She really tarnished the whole image and impression I originally had of TA. Also, there was no way to go to the bathroom without going through a long line of security again at the last gate before the shuttle which did not make sense."

Minusy: "When I check-in for flight from Rome to Istanbul and Istanbul to Los Angeles, only the first leg of trip was confirmed correctly. For the leg from Istanbul to Los Angeles I confirmed a window seat when I checked-in online. However, when I arrived at the airport I has a middle seat and could not change it and the 15 hour flight was miserable. I also asked to be upgraded to business class and told it would be $3,500.00, which was ridiculous."

On the other hand, seat were comfortable and flight attendants were so nice and friendly.. also Turkish lounge and airport were good"

Also this flights entertainment controls were terrible, constantly went back to home page while trying to select movie."

Minusy: "The cabin crew were no where to be seen most of the flight at all. Our food trays remained at our seat for far longer than any other flight or airline that I have been on. At the end, people were getting up to go to the flight attendants to give them their trays of food. Overall, the service left alot to be desired."

Minusy: "This is one of the worst airlines I have flown with. I travel internationally frequently, I had used Turkish Airlines on a domestic flight in Turkey back in the 90's. It was a decent experience. So I decided to book my flight to Athens with Turkish Airlines. I bought a nonstop flight from LAX to with one and a half hour layover in Istanbul and then flying to Athens on the same day. I was assigned bulkhead seats on the way over. On the day of the Parcher at the Turkish airline counter in LAX I was informed that my seat assignments were changed. The agent could not/ would not give me a satisfactory answer as to why! During the course of the same conversation I was also informed that my layover Istanbul is not 1 1/2 hours, instead it is seven hours and I will be flying out to Athens The following day. My flight was randomly changed to a later flight without my knowledge! After a long wait at the ticketing counter, the manager switched us back to the original itinerary. Sadly it doesn't end here. The take off was about an hour and a half delayed. This was about exactly the same amount of time I had as layover Istanbul airport. I asked several flight attendants about how will Turkish Airlines will handle this delay as my connection to Athens was in jeopardy. Again not one flight attendant could give me a straight answer. Some said "well hopefully you will make it to the next flight". One said "the pilot we will make up for the lost time". I also noticed that my original bulkhead seat assignments were given to three ladies who were friends of a first class flight attendant! it was really annoying to watch the flight attendant bring them treats from the first class kitchen area. It was clear that our seats were intentionally switched as a special favor. Long story short, upon arrival we were told that the our connecting flight is at gate 501 only to find out there was no plane at the gate!! We never found out what happened to our original connection to Athens, but we ended up waiting an additional 5 1/2 hours in the airport for then next day flight. No explanation given, no accommodations provided, no apologies!"

Plusy: "We had a connecting flight in Instanbul, Turkey, and a representative met us at our arrival gate from Rome and walked us through security and to our connecting flight to LAX. I thought that was great because we would've been completely lost if we had to do it on our own. Security check in was thorough. We had to go through security screening AGAIN (already did it in Rome and had to throw away our waters purchased in the airport), and two different lines for passport check. My husband had to go through a third security line because he had a carry-on. Boarding was well organized with passengers lining up by their boarding letter - no crowding - and people sitting at the back of the plane boarded first (after 1st class). The flight itself was great. The food was delicious. The orange juice tasted freshly squeezed. They gave us a water bottle, lots of current and blockbuster movies to choose from. They provided pillows, blankets, and earphones at no extra charge. Would definitely fly again."
Minusy: "The seats were a little tight. They woke us when it was time to eat. Not sure why they didn't just let us sleep, and then give us our food when we woke up. Not really a big deal since I wanted to stay awake on the flight home, but I may have wanted to sleep."

Minusy: "Worst airline I have flown, avoid if at all possible. We saved $400 each on a long haul flight from LAX connecting through IST and we should have spent the extra money. Flight attendants are extremely rude, not helpful, the food is terrible, the planes are all old Boeing 777-300 likely purchased second hand and seem to be falling apart on the inside. I saw flight attendants kicking, punching, and body slamming carts and other items to get them to fit in their racks in the kitchen areas, I hate to think what that means for safety of critical items. Just stay away for your safety and sanity"

Minusy: "Changed boarding gate 3 times and then put us in a crowded stand up room only 10 minute shuttle to the plane where we then had to climb steep stairs with carry on luggage to enter the 777."

Minusy: "There was a 4.5 hr delay due to "technical difficulties". We had to switch planes. This caused me to miss my flight to Tucson out of LAX. When I asked them to help rebook my flight that Lufthansa caused ne to miss, i was told there is nothing they can do. Seeing as how that last flight was not booked through Lufthansa. This is absolutely ridiculous! There were no Lufthansa flights into Tucson so I had no choice but to go with another carrier! So after a long grueling 4.5 hr delay and 11+hr flight now I have to stay in a hotel because my flight out via Southwest was the last one out for the day and The only nonstop flight departs at 12:35 tomorrow. Thank goodness Southwest booked me on another flight at no charge! They take care of their customers. It was not their fault I missed the flight. It was dur to the "techincal difficulties" with Lufthansa. And every hotel within a 8 mile radius has been sold out. And at one point I booked online only to find out upon my arrival, after paying for taxi and havig him leave, thAt this hotel is sold out and should not have allowed me to book online. So after landing at 7:15 pm at LAX I am just now in bed at a hotel after searching and paying for cabs etc. And on my dime! Absolutely ridiculous !!"

Minusy: "I had ordered muslim meal but was served vegetarian (meatless) meal instead. Muslim meals can be served with halal beef,chicken, mutton or fish / seafood. Food served was substandard and tasteless."

Plusy: "The crew did their best to help several people whose seat requests were not honored including a woman traveling with a dog who was given an aisle instead of a window seat. Crew came around with water and juice frequently."
Minusy: "Seat assignments were not honored. My husband and I were seated in two different rows even though we requested to sit together in an aisle and window seat and checked in the day before the flight This happened on all four legs of a trip to South Africa. Extremely narrow seats and little leg room. Felt like a cattle car. An aggressive woman with disruptive, screaming children was allowed to Torture passengers for a good five hours of the flight before the bursar finally moved her. This was after several hours of complaints from other passengers. She was eventually moved twice due to passenger complaints. The situation should have been handled after the first complaints which occurred two hours into the flight before the situation completely detiorated Food was terrible and meals ran out."

Plusy: "I have some anxiety when I'm flying and I told the flight attendant, I asked her if I could move to a window seat that was the premium economy section and she moved me and my husband and made sure I was ok the whole flight!! I felt so much better. My visit to Germany had been very stressful since I went there for my moms funeral, so I really appreciated her kindness."

Minusy: "The window seats are not comfortable like in other planes. The windows are too high, you don't see anything. The seat is too far from the window so you cannot lean towards it. For a 10 hour flight it was not comfortable."

Minusy: "Flight was rerouted to drop off sick passengers. 10 hours after being served lunch and after the sick passengers had disembarked, there was little update on the flight status and no update on passengers getting dinner. The crew did not hand out water or snacks in the duration but instead ate and drank themselves in the crew area. If you wanted to eat or drink you had to interrupt them, and specifically ask to have a glass of water. If as a flight attendant you are hungry or thirsty after not having anything for so long, it's a good assumption the other 250+ passengers are also. Very inconsiderate."

Minusy: "DID NOT GO TO MUNICH. Instead of one connecting flight I had to be rearranged for two since the orginal was cancelled. From Florence I was bussed to Balogna, then flew to FRA with delays, then from FRA to EWR WITH A 4+ HR DELAY due to system malfunctions, then EWR to LAX was a 6 HOUR DELAY BECAUSE OF THE PLANE!! Instead of a normal flight time, IT TOOK 24+ HOURS to reach my destination and EACH STOP HAD HOURS OF DELAY. The crew was late on my flight to LAX in addition, absolutely terrible. Never want to fly with Lufthansa or United ever again. Horrible, horrible experience."

I was asked to move seats with some fat guy because he wanted more room even though I picked those seats specifically to be able to stretch out my legs. Was offered 100 euros for in flight shopping, which will buy you nothing! Please move your seat and spend money on our plane, no thank you! Highly would NOT recommend this airline!"

Need better maintenance."

Plusy: "The people who work for Lufthansa are the nicest i’ve met, on par with Turkish airlines. The times for boarding and departure were respected, the flight crew was extra nice, even accommodating requests that gave them extra-work. Economy passengers were treated like first class in terms of service and solicitude of the crew. Headphones, blankets, pillows were offered free of charge, so we’re the food and drinks, and there was a good selection of movies and music. On a 770$ ticket, mind you! The crew will come by repeatedly to check if passengers desired some more wine or coffee, offered water and juices on a tray several times outside the regular service times, and cared for the families with children. Thumbs up!"
Minusy: "The warm food was a bit unappetizing, the potatoes for instance were black, but there is nothing that the crew could do better than offer to replace it. Such graceful approach to a little inconvenience!"

Minusy: "Waited in Luftansa line 9.5 hours to rebook flight after Munich airport shut down for 7 hours. Lufthansa totally unprepared for this situation. Understaffed and unhelpful with directions. Finally got to Los Angeles after 48 hours. Still haven’t gotten luggage 2 days later and no communication on when to expect it."

Plusy: "Very friendly and the food and drinks never stopped and no additional charges, a very nice experience over the bargain airlines, free in-flight movies, and entertainment, no cost."

Minusy: "We had booked business on our flight to Milan, and it was extremely disappointing that on this sector they put us on the last seat in the back of the plane. There were plent of seats on this flight that had extended legroom. A bit of a mystery, why Westjet elected to put usin the last seats on the plane?"

Plusy: "There was no flight! So it's one thing that you have to cancel the flight because of fog; but rebooking us the next day on a flight through New York that doesn't exist, was way below the standard of care I would expect from any airline. Apparently, the NY to LAX flight that KLM booked us on, was only one leg of the flight to Sydney Australia; and according to some airline agreement, only Australian nationals are permitted to take that flight! Running around at JFK from terminal four, to terminal seven, to terminal eight, back to terminal four, to get a flight out, was a bit much considering how tired we were – not to mention hungry, since KLM neglected to provide the kosher meals we had requested with plenty of time – BOTH going to and returning from Europe."

Minusy: "Claiming that the plane was completely full (which it wasn't), They forced just about everyone to check there carry ons. When we got on board, there was plenty of overhead space. Supposedly, we should've have been allowed a carryon and a personal item."

Plusy: "Flight all good"
Minusy: "Suitcase did not arrive and still not received."

Plusy: "I flew with multiple international airlines this summer and KLM was by far the best. The crew of KLM were exceptionally attentive, polite, and helpful. The meals were by far the most enjoyable of my airplane travel meals; and I learned that KLM does not charge for it's drinks on international flights, unlike most other international airlines that I traveled with this summer. In a sentence, flying with KLM was a very pleasant experience and I will recommend this airlines to others."
Minusy: "If I were going to list any negatives, I would say that the little travel pillow that was given to the passengers was so thin that it was practically useless, but I brought my own with me, so I was none the less comfortable."

Plusy: "Professionality of the crew, punctuality, comfort. I loved the new Alitalia uniforms."
Minusy: "Food was embarassingly awful, almost disgusting. Too limited entertainment choices."

Minusy: "i was givven a poor seat at the end of the airplane, 2 people slept next to me and for 9 hours i couldnt leve my seat untill the hostess asked me if i needed help"

Minusy: "Disaster, noone knows anything, pseudo assistants are charging money to get you in the queue of business check-in, desorganisation, 4 controls of the luggage before dropping it off."

Plusy: "The boarding was quick."
Minusy: "Food could be better."

Minusy: "One of few airlines with seats right next to kitchen Super old plane! No Usb charging possible (or we all couldn't find) I asked for aisle seat as always. They said we give you a window seat but we have blocked the 2 seats next to you so you have 3 seats. I thanked and asked for that aisle seat and they said no again. Then obviously both seats were fully booked and I jammed in the corner. Ridiculous."

Minusy: "Small seats"

Plusy: "Flight crew is very kind. Seats are confortable, food is excellent and overall it was a beautiful experience. I recommend flying with KLM!"

Minusy: "Cabin was cold we had a blanket which did help a bit Not much room to have your meals etc"

Minusy: "This return flight was much better than the flight going to Amsterdam. I believe the biggest factor was the type of aircraft. The old 747 just didn't meet expectations. The newer 777 on the way back was much more comfortable, with better amenities."

Plusy: "Crew was pleasant but not attentive to detail. Bypassed is completely for snack and drink towards end of 9 hour flight!"

Minusy: "The seat I had with no seats in front of me was very small. Much smaller than the other economy seats because the tray table and video screen were in the armrests. Paid extra for the legroom by ended up losing it side to side. Really had to squeeze into the seat."

Minusy: "The flight was delayed 1 1/2 hours."

Plusy: "I am so grateful to have been provided delicious and filling vegan meals on this long flight. Thank you for offering a dietary option that is compassionate toward animals and contributes less to climate change! Now if only the planes were powered by clean, renewable energy... Hopefully that will become a reality someday very soon! Oh, and also the crew on this flight was exceptionally kind and helpful. Thank you so much!"
Minusy: "I did not enjoy the turbulence, which I suppose is unavoidable. More importantly, I felt quite guilty about the greenhouse gas emissions of my flight. I have decided to cut down on my air travel as much as possible as a way of reducing my carbon footprint."
