The tray was dirty! Co-passengers in the row behind me were also complaining The audio lead of my headphone would not go into the outlet in the seat armrest! So I had to use audio from neighboring (empty) seat and sync it with video from screen for my seat. What a pain!"

We arrived fine which mean the flight was successful but it was not very enjoyable."

Minusy: "My flight from Detroit to Denver was suppose to land at 1:15 ish and I had an interview to make at 3:30 thinking that I would have plenty of time to grab my bags and and get a cab to greenwood which is where my interview was. The flight was delays almost 3 hours and I was not able to make my interview which was the whole reason I flew to Denver in the first place. I understand that things happen but now Im out of a possible job that I was interviewing for and I am also out the $250 that I spent on the flight. The flight was delayed because they didn't have a crew to fly the plane which blindside is always 20/20 however it seems like pretty poor planning."

Minusy: "We went in LGA to the Baggage drop off and the employee there was super rude. On the flight to New York with Delta we had to check our carry ons at the gate because it wasn't enough room for bags in the airplane.so we asked when we checked our one suitcase if we can/should check our carry ons to avoid having to do it at the gate. The delta employee told me sure no problem. He checks in my one suitcase I purchased gives me the tracking paper and says ok have a good flight. I asked him so what is with our carry ons and he told us that that would cost 25$ and we can't check those in at the drop off?!?We ended up taking the carry ons with to the gate and then off course there wasn't enough room on the airplane that we had to check it in. And surprise it was free?? We had never issues with Lufthansa, icelandair etc. with checking our bags at drop off to not needing to carry it around and than still end up to check it at the airplane. Every airline has been more than happy that we volunteer to check our bags that they don't have the trouble at the gate."

Minusy: "LAX security is awful. We never left the airport (arrived LAX from Sydney AU) yet were forced thru security again. Had to remove shoes, was scanned and "frisked" by TSA to get to Denver. To go to Australia, Denver TSA waived the removal of shoes, skipped the scan for the metal detector and no one touched me, ditto for LAX on the trip to Sydney. Where's the uniformity or standards for TSA?? Why did I have to be subjected to this garbage on the way home?? This is why I despise flying. It makes no sense to me. This ruined what was a great vacation."

Minusy: "Flying to Munich- flight was cancelled. Had to rebook on United for the following day. Arrived almost 2 days late (the original was direct, the United had layovers) and missed a planned trip to Neuschwanstein castle. Flying from Munich- The entertainment screen was broken, completely unusable. After a hard reset by the flight attendant several times... Still broken. She said she thought it would fix itself once we were at cruising altitude. Nope. Notified the flight attendant who said vaguely "I'll see what I can do..." Never came back to check, never got offered any sort of compensation (even something like a free mixed drink would have been nice), offer to move seats, nothing. So- ten hours with no entertainment/nothing to watch, just a malfunctioning screen. Food was mediocre. We boarded late, and left almost 1 hour late because they had to wait for an employee (who was not working, just getting a ride back) to board. Literally there and back with Lufthansa was a fiasco. On top of it, we have been back for 3 weeks and are still waiting to hear back from Lufthansa customer service. Apparently they only communicate by email with complaints. Not over the phone. So after repeated emails, just radio silence. Terrible airline."
Plusy: "Everything was wonderful! Lufthansa is spot on from boarding, to in flight service to the moment you leave. They are helpful, friendly, fun and a wonderful crew where I know I'm in good hands!"

Lufthansa invited us to check-in early, but would not allow us to finish the check-in online process the day prior: seemed to be glitch in their computer system. We arrived at the airport early, but no one at Lufthansa could help us with seat assignments in order to seat our 12-yo daughter next to a partent. The airline did not open the gate area until 1+35 prior to the flight (advertised 2-hrs prior), and did not put anyone at the gate-desk until 1-hr prior to departure ...and they still could not help us. Boarding was disorganized; Lufthansa appeared to board by different groups, but there were no announcements as to which group(s) should board. Instead there was just a large crowd milling about, waiting to push their way to a gate agent. Very un-German."

Ten hours and I didn't sleep at all( never can sleep sitting up) and I think they came by with extra water and juices at least six times. Two hot meals of delicious food, superb snacks available near the galley, and comfortable seats with better than average legroom."

Plusy: "I have a servere hearing problem and was concerned (since we were late leaving Zurich for my changeover in Frankfurt), that I would be late because I can't hear any loudspeaker systems (either on planes or in airports). I felt that I could get easily lost between flights and not have time to get to the Frankfurt/Denver flight. I told this to the person at the gate in Zurich, and he immediately arranged for someone to meet me in Frankfurt and take me there. I was met by Maika in Frankfurt and she was just excellent--personable and efficient and really helpful. I'm sorry I couldn't remember the name of the person at the gate in Zurich. He was also great. I wouldn't have done this if I had had more time, but this really made my day (and my flight!) ! Thank you!"
Minusy: "Seated near and next to me were about 9 German men who had begun their vacation to Colorado in the airport bar prior to the flight. I was seated in a middle seat "J" (I believe) in row 37 or 39. The men were receiving from the stewardesses repeatedly two glasses at a time and kept going back to the galley and getting two glasses of wine at a time Although they were loud, congregating in the aisle around rows 37 and 39 they were not limited in what they could drink. The two on either side of me were disrespectful of my personal space and were very inappropriate. I got up and went to the galley behind my seat to ask the stewardesses to get me another seat. During this time the guys kept coming back to this galley for more wine still taking two at a time. The stewardesses explained that the plane was full. Others complained also. I then asked the stewardesses if since they were over serving these guys, would they trade one of their jump seats with me. At this point they cut the guys off and got the pursar. She talked to them and ignored my personal safety concerns and said no one gets on a plane drunk (yeah, right) and that they would now behave and were asleep. That's why they are still talking at the top of their lungs and standing in the aisle? I asked. I wish I had video recorded this, I did not as others with kids in the aisles across from me did. I hope their videos go viral Not impressed with Lufthansa"

"I'm not really sure what the difference is between Economy and Premium Economy on these long-haul flights, especially when the plan isn't very full and people in Economy can lie down across an entire row. The seats in Premium Economy are a bit bigger, but you can't recline or lie down and I'm pretty sure we get the same food options as regular economy. You get a little goodie bag that you don't really need. Also, there is really no point upgrading to business class on the short flights with Lufthansa. The seat size is the same as the rest of the plane. So, you're paying $50 or so for a pretty small snack/meal and a curtain between you."

Nobody even came to tell them that the gate has been changed. It was because of my father's alertness they didn't miss the connecting flight and when my father asked help to members on airport none of them helped my parents and other 4 co passengers which also were on wheel chairs. It was so scary experience for them that they asked me not to book any more flights with Jet Airways. I won't recommend Jet Airways to any of my friends for their parents to travel to USA. I strongly recommend you guys to take a strict action against this. This is so unacceptable."

And the plane was old generation 747 and the entertainment was same vintage: screen was not very bright and the selection of films was poor. No plug to charge electronics. We were disappointed with KLM when comparing with other airline companies offerings when you book in Premium Economy."

Luckily the other person in the Check-In counter offered to help me Check-In. Here is my word to the Indian lady staff “F**k You B***h” - learn some people skills."

In Paris, but ONLY after I located my receipt on my phone, they moved us to the seats we had paid for."

When I arrived later than planned but still within good time, which was my fault, I reported to the Czech Airlines check-in (D2). This is very, very far from the Air France check-in (A2). No person and no sign was at Czech Airlines gate saying to go to Air France instead. By the time I determined what to do by talking ro the airport information booth and I walked to Air France instead of Czech Airlines (at CDG airport this is 5 minutes walking very fast speed on conveyor belts.. perhaps more than half a kilometer), I was past the boarding time limit, but the flight had not yet left. Then I could not print the boaring pass because of the time. When I asked an Air France employee for help, he simply said "you cannot board" and stood there smugly. He must feel great being a 25 year old who can turn people away from international flights at his own discretion to completely ruin their day especially when the plane is still on the ground. I have not even explained yet about the similarly awful experience I had when I booked the next flight (Czech Airlines at 09:45) for a much higher price (118 euro) and was not told that this Czech Airlines flight is "really" a Czech Airline flight. After paying much more to a Czech Airline person, nobody informed me to stay at the Czech Airlines area (2D) so I naturally went back to Air France since I had already had so much trouble. When I arrived there, of course, they tell me to go back to Czech Airlines and now I was again late. Thank God that I was able to confront a random trolley man who Kew where the Czech Airlines people were and try tried very hard to get me to the plane even though the boarding time was over. All in all, this was the worst travel experience of my life. I have now wasted 40 more minutes of my approximately 2.5 days in Prague to tell you this. I hope you consider it."
