Emirates used to be very good airline but not anymore."

Minusy: "Poor timing - no reason for a 40 minute delay at take off (plane was fully boarded in time) Old aircraft, shabby, dirty and cramped seats. Coming from my connecting flight from Barcelona, I could clearly tell the different in the quality (and cleanliness) of the aircrafts."

Minusy: "Our total flight time was about 17 hours - MAD- AMS-LAX. My husband and I both have an internationally approved carry on luggages with us. When we checked in - they asked us to both check in our carry on luggage. The reason why is because they said they don’t think they have enough space for our carry ons. I told the crew member checking us in that other people that was checking in with the same hand carry size luggage with us had no problems taking it with them. For being about to be on a 17 HOUR FLIGHT we should be ALLOWED to have our carry ons with us! We take carry ons for that reason! I had to argue and prove my case to the crew member to atleast keep 1 carry on with us. I thought that was an UNACCEPTABLE reason for us to check in a carry on luggage when we had a 17 hour travel time ahead of us. Not a happy costumer here."

Minusy: "I paid almost $400 for upgraded seats. When I got to the airport-- no seats-- both ways!! i didn't even have regular seat assignments. I had to choose from the last few seats available. The ticket agent, the gate agent and the cabin crew all did nothing to make up for the fact that their system screwed up and stuck me in a cramped coach seat in the back of the plane for 11 hours-- TWICE! Beyond that, KLM must have one of the oldest fleets in the sky. Both ways LAX->AMS->LAX, I was on a 30-35 year old 747 with no wifi, no power and a ten-year-old entertainment system. Never again."

The plane did get cleaned a little bit in Dar-es-salaam however I was still missing a pillow and blanket which I had to actively seek out. Seating was not very comfortable as there was a box attached to the leg of the seat in front of me, making it necessary to keep my feet at an uncomfortable angle through the long flight. I did not enjoy the food."

Minusy: "That I was forced to check my baggage. I never received a chain ticket for my luggage. The flight has a 32 hour layover and KLM lost my luggage and it was not found until a week after my arrival back home. I still have not received my bag at this time. The boarding crew was manually tracking who boarded and who didn't. It was a cluster."

Minusy: "Flight delayed by one hour which meant I missed by train at Southampton by 10 minutes and subsequent bus connect home. Next bus would have been 2 hours later so 45 minute walk home from train station. Didn't bother with food offering, put off by that supplied from Hannover to Schiphol."

Minusy: "Pet was left behind at vacation destination as pet's reservation (made and confirmed through KLM) was not found at check in. Waiting for Customer Care to help get pet home and take responsibility for situation and getting no response. Very dissapointed, considering law suit."

Minusy: "Finnair had the worst leg room I've ever had in 50 years of traveling. It was so TIGHT that my knees were pressing up agains the seat in front of me the whole 8 hours of flight, even though I am only 5'7"! I felt really sorry for those passengers who were taller. Finnair also lost my checked in bag and delivered it 36 hours later without providing any compensation. Coming back the flight was delayed due to mechanical reasons, which caused a number of passengers miss connecting flights. This is one of the things that can happen to any airline, but only Finnair failed to provide an agent to take care of the passengers who missed their flights. So, after a 2 hour delay and 7 hours of traveling in the air, the stranded passengers had to find an agent in JFK who would rebook their flights. One of the worst traveling experiences. Will never travel Finnair again!"

Another thing - I was sitting in the raw 50, and at the 49th raw crew ran out of chicken with only pasta left. ))) This happens, I get it. I've had it actually happened to me before on British Airways flights too couple of times. So it's not too big of a deal. I just wish that pasta tasted better)))"

Plusy: "The flight to and from Los Angeles was operated by British Airways and was on one of their Airbus fleet. Boarding was completed efficiently and with ease. I sat on the upper deck and was very comfortable in comparison to other major airlines previously used for this particular flight. The plane was very clean and the crew were outstanding. Nothing appeared to be too much trouble for crew, and they were ready with beverages, including tea and coffee, and snacks throughout the flight. In flight entertainment was good. All in all very pleasant flight to and from the U K."

The man at the check-in desk in Madrid could not have been ruder or less helpful (Hopefully for his wife's sake!) The food on the way home again was unfortunate.....that can NOT possibly be the best food any company can find in Spain. Hell - wed have been better off with a cheese & ham plate with some bread!!"

Minusy: "The chicken for dinner was horrible. The call buttons for assistance sounded constantly the entire flight.. Not sure if it was a malfunction."

Plusy: "This is not my first experience with Finnair flight and I'm very pleased with a consistency of a good service, high professionalism and I will recommend this airline to all my friends."

Plusy: "I thought the flight attendants were professional and friendly. We landed safely and on time."
Minusy: "A nine-hour flight with ancient over-head screens? Great for those not sitting in a window seat, otherwise don't plan on being able to watch the movie. The first being a cartoon by the way. I'm sure the 3 children on board had a great time watching it. 2 bathrooms on a 9-hour flight for the entire coach cabin? One of which was near the front. Can you guess what the plane smelled like by the time we landed? Let's discuss the fact that passengers had to be "shuttled" to the plane because of construction. I paid additional for Group 1 boarding, so great I got to get on the shuttle first. Those that came after me also were the last to board the shuttle and the first to get on the plane. Thanks, American, for showing me again why I use you as a last resort. Had I known it was American and NOT Finnair, as I purchased it, I would have re-thought my purchase."

Plusy: "Updated gate changes sent to phone was a life saver!"

Plusy: "Very relaxing, enjoyable flight. Entertainment was great with many different options to choose from (music, tv, movie, games). The plane was not full and I had the entire row to myself, making the flight that much more comfortable. Awesome crew that was attentive and friendly. Probably one of the best flights I've ever been on. Thanks!"

Minusy: "Never picking up garbage (telling us the next crew will do that) The cabin a mess. NO LEG ROOM. Terrible."

Minusy: "When I arrived to board my flight I was highly unsatisfied with the excessive charges I received for my luggage that was overweight (only by 7 pounds). I was not only charged an additional $100 for my second checked bag, but I was also charged $200 for the extra weight. As a college student traveling abroad for 6 months, I did not expect to be bombarded with these fees at the beginning of my journey. Due to this experience, I would like to have been notified ahead of time of the expected charges as it made me uneasy before a long flight."

Plusy: "Nice flight, plane was new so that was great. I was traveling alone and got upgraded to Premium Economy. Lovely!"

Minusy: "A lot of turbulence. Only paid food offerings. From gate took 10-15min bus drive to plane No entertainment"

Minusy: "Trying to get through airport security was an unorganized clown show with them herding groups of passengers back and forth between airport terminals resulting in many people almost missing their flights because the lines just weren't moving. Once on the airplane, the international flight had TVs in the ceiling in the row playing one in-flight movie (what is this 1995?). American is such a terrible airline. The old US airways, Lufthansa, and British Airways, are way better international flights every time I've flown with them. Personal entertainment at your seat for each flight (i thought this was standard on all international flights in the past like 10 years) and more food and drinks throughout the flight."

Minusy: "Nothing really. Short flight so no entertainment."

Plusy: "Food was better than flight to London. Boarding went well."
Minusy: "Plane left almost an hour late with no explanation given. For huge plane, still cramped unless you pay loads for more room. Upgrade prices outlandish!!!"

Minusy: "American Airlines caterers do not stock Tea on flight to London, UK (major up-roar). Staff was pretty grouchy."

Plusy: "On time departure and early arrival"
Minusy: "Was not Finnair but American Airlines operated flight, so cramped, no personal entertainment system, sub charger, etc. Would have been great if this was 1996 and not 2016."

Plusy: "The flight itself was very good. The food is descent and there are good selection of movies."
Minusy: "My bag was left in London during my connection and arrived in Denver the next day. From what I understand once my bag arrived it was handed off to a third party delivery company. I am not sure how to complain to this company, maybe British Airways has a way to do it since they hired them. My bag must have arrived around 3:30pm in Denver. I got a text at 5pm that my bag was being delivered, which is fine so far. I did not hear before 10pm from the delivery guy about an estimated delivery time of my luggage, at that point he said he would show up around midnight. He eventually arrived at 3am. I don't know how the delivery company plans their deliveries but this is rather unacceptable. Unfortunately, this is not the first time this happens to me. Do they really always expect people to stay up until 3am the day after an international flight to get their luggage that was mis-handled by the airline.... I'd rather just drive to the airport myself the next day to get my suitcase myself."

Minusy: "Customer Service is Dead with British Airways!!! I will make every effort not to fly with BA again"

Plusy: "I flew with my sister who has disability. Check in was very smooth and the Spanish lady who checked us in at Heathrow airport took our hand luggage which was really nice as we could just take care of our wheelchair."
Minusy: "BA should consider to serve complementary coffee and tea on board. Such a little thing, but could make a huge difference."

Plusy: "Crew was mostly attentive and helpful."
Minusy: "Had the boarding queues setup and when they got to group 5 they flipped the sign and those of us in front had to go in the back. Once we were in the main queue they opened the 5-9 queue for some privileged traveler and then left it open allowing the back of the queue to become the front."

Minusy: "I guess a hazard of being toward the back, but they were running out of food choices. It was still pretty good. Also, my entertainment screen was working only so-so."

Plusy: "I loved the friendly crew who seem to work tirelessly to take care of everyone's needs and have the role of flight attendant, server, and bartender. I personally loved the meals, drinks, and snacks on the flight from London to Las Vegas. It's nice to break up the long hours. Lots of great movies and shows to choose from especially "classics" like Friends and The Truman Show."
Minusy: "If there is any way you could please consider taking out a row or two of seats to give everyone just a little more room to breathe and stretch our legs, it would be so appreciated! This makes such a huge difference on our overall mood and feelings of health and well being. We were all so crammed in our seats I could barely move to even reach a book from my bag let alone stretch my legs. Luckily I was sitting next to a very friendly passenger, so it was bareable. But it was a 10 hour flight; that's a long time to sit with moving. There are also tiny corners to stand and stretch our legs but we seemed to be in the airline attendants' way- although they never said anything."

Plusy: "Appreciated how one of the stewardess handled some really over the top, needy and entitled customers sitting to my left. They were seemingly giving her hell every time she came around for this and that."

Minusy: "There was no VOD, but I guess this is standard on a short flights"

Minusy: "The "complimentary" drinks weren't complimentary, as you had to pay for them"

Minusy: "It was difficult for me to get comfortable. The lights that shine from above us were shining directly on me for a row behind me and for the person sitting on my left. Boarding was somewhat unorganized as there were people boarding in 2 areas."

Minusy: "The plane takeoff time was delayed by almost two hours. When we got to Oakland, waiting for the luggage took an exceptionally long time. Don't understand why we couldn't sit in the waiting room until a "certain time" before getting on the plane, we had to wait outside in a hall with no seats. The room was not being used by anyone else."

Minusy: "I asked for coffee. Paid 4 pounds for it, it was AWFUL. not brewed, no taste, bitter, no cream available to add to it. If you charge such prizes, you better offer decent coffee. I can get late or capuchino at Starbucks for less and far better quality."

Plusy: "Good economy flight from Heathrow to Madrid. Would recommend!"

Plusy: "The crew was great at taking care of everything"

Plusy: "LOVED the hospitality of the crew, the food was great and they feed you a lot on the flight- my guess is to quell the anxieties of flying over the atlantic LOL. Flight to SFO from London was smooth."
Minusy: "The seats are intensely uncomfortable. I upgraded to emergency exit this flight and still no room. Also, would be amazing if there was WiFi (even if for parts of the flight and not the entire flight). 11 hours is a long time to listen to same songs on your ipod lol."

Minusy: "The boarding process is a bit of a cluster. No lines, just everybody crowding around until their group is called. Seems like it could be better organized."
