No where in the world has an airline ever asked me for this, and I fly a fair bit. Since I didn't allow them to extort me, they forced me to throw away my brand new Delsey hand carry at the airport. I had no cover as they threatened to if load my luggage and not let me fly home. Not a 5 start airline from any angle. Will never use Qatar again!!! This was my first and last flight with them."

When the bus stopped neat the air craft for boading, ground staff were seen collecing heavy hand carry luggage from the passengers for putting them in a separate compartment for taking as a cargo, which caused another delay in boading. Old air craft on this route should be replanced. Before boading from Dubai to Lahore, I checked my flight status several times on flight information screen but my flight was not shown on it. Later, I checked on hand touch screen and came to know that gate was B2."

Did that twice from Chicago to Istanbul and back, and the seats in economy are a real killer....very tight and uncomfortable. On the other hand, if you have a choice of Turkish aircrafts b777 vs AB330-300, you will do yourself a favor by selecting a flight on an AB330-300. Slighter smaller plane then the 777 but a little more comfortable in coach. So you are warned......and by the way, you will select a two seater combination rather than being stuck in the middle.....If you are stuck in the middle, always do your best to get at least an isle seat."

I may understand that food is not served but to pay for water is not a right thing to do. I asked the crew about this and I was told that bc other airlines charge for drinks/ food, BA also ask passengers for money. I have not had to pay for my drink like water on any other flight. I fly with all big airlines like American, Delta, Lufthansa, LOT, etc"

Minusy: "They have a fare that does not charge for Regular Bags....we booked it unknown toy us assuming we each could take a regular bag for no charge....well we have ended up paying an extra 400+ pounds for our bags to go each way to Paris and it has ruined our first time to Paris. The fare online was foreign to us and deceitful being from the US in every way. No one could even work with us or was willing to make a decision but everyone seemed to agree while still charging. No more British Airways Deceipt!"

Counter check-in and baggage drop off was friendly and efficient, and was absolutely the easiest I've had in my recent two week travels (where I sadly used 5 different airlines for 7 different flights), if not my overall lifetime of traveling abroad. The crew was friendly, helpful and it was easy to ask them questions. For both the price and the ease of service I would absolutely recommend them again to anyone I know."

Caused me to miss my connection in London and the subsequent flight I was put on because of the delay. Spent 10 hours overnihht at Heathrow in London because British Airways wasn't giving out hotel vouchers just £15 in meal vouchers. Disappointing."
Minusy: "It was August 18. They lost my baggage. Next day on Saturday at 3 pm I had a wedding and I was a wittness.In the baggage a had a dress for me and part of dress for the wedding's couple . They found my baggage on the 3th plane on the last minut. Terrible. And I had go for it by myself because LOT didnt want to send to me the courier. The fly was also 1 hour late"

Minusy: "This was a four hour international flight from London to Istanbul. There was no in-flight entertainment system of any kind, not even audio, and there was no free food or drinks. Not even a bag of peanuts or a soda. Everything had to be paid for. And if you did wanted to purchase something, it took forever since passengers had to whip out a credit card. Cash not allowed. I have never been on an international flight that made you pay for food and drinks. When I inquired why, the reason given was that this was a "short-haul international flight". Oh, I see. British Airways is now a discount airline."
Minusy: "Flight was 1 hour 45 minutes delayed because the crew's bus broke down on the way to the airport. And when I was perilously close to missing my connection at Heathrow, in which I had to change terminals, I was given no assistance whatsoever. It was made very clear you were on your own. Thanks British Airways! But the cabin crew were very nice though."

Minusy: "I couldn't do online check in and was at the airport 2 hours before the flight but they said they cannot give me a seat number and waited there for 25 min to get a seat number. The seats were really uncomfortable (compared to airlines as Turkish airlines and American Airways).The flight attendants were not there to make your flight better, one of them was sulking and was afraid to smile to you but when he was with other crew was able to laugh! Also food was really bad!"
