Plusy: "Nothing. I was sold a ticket for 709 dollars and wasn’t told I couldn’t get on until showing up to the gate. Therefore I had to spend 1000 more dollars to book another ticket because budget air wouldn’t change or refund the flight."

The outdated onboard entertainment system was annoying to operate and it was impossible to even see the screen when the person ahead leaned back."

Flight from Dusseldorf to Zurich, then Zurich to Los Angeles. in Dusseldorf, SWISS oversold the plane by 25 passengers. It was unbelievable, SWISS was randomly determining who would not fly and miss their other connecting flights in Zurich. It was by shear luck that we were able to keep our original reservation. SWISS needs to realize that this type of problem is serious. I can't imagine every flying SWISS again."

And the seats are incredibly narrow. When the person in front of me had their seat reclining I had even less room. Horrible. The only reason the flight from Zurich to Boston wasn't quite as bad was because I was able to get the seat by the exit aisle with extra legroom. The food was terrible. It didn't taste like real food. It looked and tasted totally artificial. Overall, a very poor experience."

Minusy: "The transfer was a horrible, stressful experience. We knew it as a short connection but Lufthansa had accepted it. On our outward bound flight three weeks earlier, we were all met and escorted swiftly by a flight attendant from the first leg plane (EWR-MUN) to the second leg plane (MUN-Nice) to ensure that we all made it onboard. Impressive. On our return journey, no such luck! No attendant to meet us, and a huge line at immigration, full of panicked and stressed-out passengers jockeying for position, with no-one from ANY airline there to do a triage for those with the shortest connections. Ridiculous. In addition, the passport-scanning machines were very slow and quirky. My own passport was rejected because there was no evidence I had passed through Munich on my outward bound journey!! RIDICULOUS. I managed to slip through to a human being and begged the immigration officer to let me go through with my husband, who had had no such problem. The officer told me he could not find a stamp from my earlier transit through!!! Eventually I suppose he did because he let me through. The stamp was there, I found it, but it had been sloppily applied and was half off the page...hence the rejection by the scanner. We made the flight by minutes. NOT GOOD! Surely Lufthansa could do better in their own country???"

As good as it can be when you pay $2,500 for a flight ticket knowing that they are not really there to offer you a service, they are there to make their own money knowing that as a traveler you really have no options other than an airplane if you want to go across the ocean."
Minusy: "The difference here is that in a 9 hour flight you want to keep hydrated. Crew seemed lazy...they would not bring water to travelers very often...and when I called a flight attendant with the button call and politely asked if I could have some water, she seemed pretty annoyed and told me I can just stand up and go take my water in the back where they store food. NOT A GOOD SERVICE FOR $2,500!!!! It’s outrageous!! Seats become smaller and smaller...and you keep asking about my experience...$2,500 to travel seating in a miniature seat with no leg room is a bit much...and I know no flight company cares about this...we have no choice...either take that or don’t travel, right?"

Minusy: "CONSTANT ANXIETY!! Our flight to Chicago was delayed. By 2 hours. This normally is not a big deal but it caused us to miss our connecting flight from Munich to Bremen. Then our new flight with a later time to Bremen was cancelled 20 minutes prior to boarding with no more flights to this area. The service center helped us redirect another flight to Hamburg, Germany. We had to fly to Vienna and then to Hamburg. We made it to Vienna after a 40 minute delay however, this delay caused us to miss our connecting flight once again. We were placed on an early flight the next morning to Hamburg which was an easy flight. When we got to luggage in Hamburg we noticed our luggage was missing. Supposably still in Munich. We then missed this flight and missed out on valuable time with friends who live in Germany."

Minusy: "Dear sir or Madam, I’m writing this complaint as I feel so mistreated and so disrespected, I had a ticket# 2208688265549 with a confirmation# WP6DHB travelling from Tulsa , OK, USA to Cairo, Egypt. Everything was great as expected and recommended by my uncle who travels with your respected company at least twice a month till I got to Frankfort airport to take flight# 0582 from Frankfort to Cairo. I was stopped while heading to the plan by the flight manager as he called himself later, and told me that I have to only have one item on the plan, I already had one carry on and my hand bag that has my laptop and the charger, I told him that I was told by Lufthansa customer service the night before traveling to confirm the luggage weight and size that I’m allowed one carry on plus personal item like a hand bag or lap top bag and they have to meet specific dimensions. I even offered to call the customer service number for verification, he replied ‘’I don’t care, I’m the flight manager and you will do what I say’’. His words were really hurting, I showed him the tag on my carry on that I got from the previous flight it said (approved carry on) don’t remember exactly what it said, he reached to my carry on and tare that tag, I didn’t think that was appropriate even if the tag had no value he doesn’t have any right to touch my luggage without my approval, then he tried to grab my ticket from my hand saying I will get you off the flight, I got really upset and told him don’t touch my belongs. There was a moment of silence because I think I raised my voice (my apology to him and to the company for that), I realized that the conversation is not going any where so I decided to file a complaint (not because he wanted to me to only have one item but mostly because of his attitude) so I asked him for his employment ID number he walked away without saying anything, waited till he walked close enough that I can ask him again this time he refused to give me his employment ID number, asked him for his name he said it so softly, I asked him to spell because I didn’t hear it right he said it so softly he refused, then I had to look for his badge and the name on the badge I believe his first name started with P and last name started with T. I waited a few days till I got to talk to my uncle and told him what happened as he is the one who recommended Lufthansa and he has a lot of experience with your services he said that they might need to do that because the flight was complete and they want to offer luggage place for everybody, but what I surprising is there was many empty seats on the plan my seat was 032C and the 2 seats beside me (032A and 032B) were empty also there was a lot of carry-ons room everywhere. So I don’t know why he was this way with me, I’m really disappointed specially that is only my first flight with Lufthansa since 2015, that flight manager made me have an extremely rough experience. one more thing when I told him I’m going to compla"

Also, LH like many others continues to serve cold rolls and cold butter on international flights. KLM warms the rolls! It’s the one small touch that would make Lufthansa’s meal service so much nicer."

On my flight back home, they have lost my luggage... hope they will find it. Now I am trying to get refund for cancelled flight, hotel, taxi, food... I will never fly with this company by my own choice any more!!!"

Minusy: "I think I have gotten used to Asiana's and Korean Airlines'. It just didn't seem to measure up to their business class service. The food (which has been highly rated!) I found to be just mediocre. Maybe it's because I was living in Asia for eight years and had become more accustom to asian cuisine?? I didn't love the seat either. When you recline, your feet are cramped inside a small area under the seat in front of you. It was cramped. The ability to customize the seat recline was limited. I like being able to move the head and feet into my own customized position. The business class seats from Vienna to Amman felt like coach."

Plusy: "I thought the food was excellent. Better food in coach than I get on first class domestic flights. Also, the in-flight entertainment was very good. I watched a couple of science shows and extreme sports shows that I truly enjoyed."
Minusy: "There wasn't much I did not enjoy that could be changed. I chose to go coach and had to put up with seating that was more cramped than I like, but I expected that."

Plusy: "The rep was able to get me on Air France instead."
Minusy: "This flight switch added a layover and 8 hrs to my journey home. Not to mention I was in a middle seat on the. 11 hr leg when I had originally booked a window seat."

Plusy: "Our seats 35 A & C were comfortable as they were to the back of the plane where it narrows to two seats per side row. Seemed like extra leg room. Crew was very friendly and helpful. Flight was smooth and uneventful. Good movie choices. Bathroom was clean and nearby. Plane seemed newer Boeing model. The City Airport Transport (CAT) train from the Vienna airport to city center was fantastic. We were able to check our luggage and get boarding passes where we boarded the CAT at the metro station and did not have to wait in line at the airport...wonderful system!"
Minusy: "At the gate there was a line formed for a second passport check but it was not clear to passengers that they needed to go through this line. A significant number of us had SSSS on our boarding passes which required us to go through a second, more thorough, TSA security procedure. We had to remove shoes, take electronics including phones from cases, have purse contents gone through by personnel, be screened for residue, etc. Due to this process and the fact that we were not advised to stand in the line, a number of passengers went through the second security check at the last minute which caused our takeoff to be delayed. The pilot made up the time during the flight. I ordered low sodium meal which ended up to be the same food at both meals which was a disappointment - pasta with tomato, eggplant sauce."

Minusy: "We flew from TLV to Skopje via Vienna. None of the flight were on time and there was zero communication about the flight status. We arrived to the gate to start the boarding and they just told us wait here for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes we were asked to wait another 20 minutes. Only when we missed the take off time by 10 minutes they bothered to update us and inform us that the flight is being delayed in 2 hours."

Plusy: "They had a yummy snack. And fresh veggies. With great coffee. And the host told us abou the history of a Vienna dessert."
Minusy: "Nothing."

Plusy: "The seats on Austrian airline are very comfortable"
Minusy: "Lufthansa lost my luggage for the first two days of my trip. It really hindered my ability to enjoy my first couple days of a fairly short trip to a new country"

Plusy: "very short layover and my check luggage made it all the way home with no problems"

Plusy: "that everything was in order - alles in ordnung, without much fuss."
Minusy: "the passenegers - too much farting"

Minusy: "At 11h30 of 14/9 we (HOANG MINH CHAU and NGUYEN SI THANH) were standing at the ticket counter in Vienna and we could not check in due to no payment yet for the ticket and so the reservation has been cancelled. Due to this reason we had have to buy new tickets at the airport ticketing counter. So please sort out your problem with the airline and get back to me. From my bank the payment has been done yet to you. We had have double pay for one trip."

Plusy: "We paid extra for extra leg room. Exit row. Well worth Cabin crew very good and friendly"
Minusy: "Connecting flight on United. Horrible experience Chicago to Vegas.seats are small, feeling of claustiphobia, nothing free on entertainment. Only interested in adding to price of ticket. Very warm A/c didn't work well. Totally bad experience on United. Never want to fly on them again"

Minusy: "small planes, no screens, no enertaminet. the flight was delayed in like two hors, some of crew members became too nevous."

Minusy: "Flight left Boston 1.5 hours late. I barely made my connecting flight but my checked bag did not. SAS outsources to GBS to handle missing bags. They promised 24 hours to deiiver to my hotel, but took 3 days. No one answers their phone. Terrible experience."

Minusy: "Requested a window seat, got a middle seat. No food, ither than coffee or tea had to pay for everything. Late departure, nearly missed my connecting flight."

Plusy: "Terrible coordination between SAS and United Airlines. Two bags missing, could not find boarding pass of baby, despite us showing them on the SAS website their check in details!"
Minusy: "Not losing our bags and delaying our boarding massively despite us having completed information in advance on SAS website. United Airlines inability to assign seating all the way through, throwing their hands in the air and blaming SAS, while SAS did exactly the same thing about United."

Plusy: "It was the first time I needed to use "Passenger Assistance" and it made my experience excellent. Everyone was so kind and helpful. Thank you."

So I was pretty surprised when they just offered beef fajitas. I asked for a vegetarian option only to find out there isn’t none. The flight attendant wasn’t super nice about it either, she just said you have to order it online. But at no point I got an email saying, if you want something different than what we offer, tell us! So that was pretty annoying..."

Plusy: "I chose SAS since I have used this airline on most of my travels to Norway. It has been without any problems and I highly recommend it. The staff all try to make you comfortable and do not hesitate to get whatever you ask for. I have no plan to change plane. Thank you."
Minusy: "I do not like the way they conduct their business from the office. I know they are very busy like any other airlines but please return our calls and answer questions as we are fully entitled to their attention using their airline. . Thank you."

Minusy: "My 1st experience on SAS & everything was late: takeoff over an hour late, and upon arrival in CPH we were delayed again to exit the plane because they couldn't get the skyway door attached to the plane."

Minusy: "When we booked there was no mention of paying for the checked in luggage. When we showed up at the airport we were told to pay the inflated $75 for each bag. It was ironic since it was 6am flight and the plane was half empty. It left a bad taste for us and we are not sure if it was kayak fault or sas."

Minusy: "90 min waiting in the plane withou ac in IAD 4 hs delay in Copenhagen airport. I missed flight back from Athens because a ferry delay from Santorini despite calling SAS being updated of my delay. When I arrived to Athens airport, SAS staff left and KAYAK was not supportive. My tickets were cancelled from Athens to IAD."

Plusy: "Small but very efficient airport Pilot actually flew lo for a period of time to enjoy the view of a Russian village and fjords and glacier"

Minusy: "We were to fly from Bergen to Oslo, and then from Oslo to Stockholm. However, the flight from Bergen to Oslo kept getting delayed, so we were eventually put on a direct flight to Stockholm from Bergen. But for the 5 hour delay, we were given a food 'dinner' coupon that could have only bought a slice a pizza which we felt was extremely poor. Expected a better compensation for the long delay."

Plusy: "The staff was very friendly and I noticed how kind they were to a mother travelling along with an infant and toddler."
Minusy: "I've had blankets on previous plane rides. It would have been nice to have something to cover up with."

Plusy: "Lots of movie to chose from. Chicken Curry was tasty."
Minusy: "The person in front of me put the seat back so far that I had almost no room to get up—then glared at me when I had to pull on the seat back to get out."

Plusy: "Reasonably on time"
Minusy: "No entertainment at all, no food at all, unless you are willing to pay 10 euros for a sad looking sandwich. You got water or coffe, or you overpaid. And it's not like they're giving the seats away!"

Plusy: "My flight was changed to a different airline by SAS to delta. Cannot comment on flight from Nice to ORD. The flight from ORD to nice on SAS was good."
Minusy: "I was not informed of flight change until I went to the airport that morning. Had to rush from SAS terminal to delta terminal to check in on time. If I had received an e-mail, I would have been better prepared."

Plusy: "Entertainment system is very good - like 100 movies on demand even games available."
Minusy: "Economy seats had little leg room; weren't offered a choice of entrees Make sure you call ahead if you need vegetarian meals."

Plusy: "New and nice plane. Good amenities for coach. Good service for the most part. Food was tasty."
Minusy: "Breakfast was kind of rushed. Would have liked to have been offered water, tea, and coffee more."

Plusy: "They had a kiosk, which was nice. In the US (Dulles) on my way out, I had no way to print a picket without waiting in line. I don't have a printer at home and the mobile ticket system was not working, so I had to wait in a very long line despite the fact that I had no luggage just to get my ticket. Every other airline had a Kiosk. In Gdansk, I was glad to see that they had a kiosk."
Minusy: "Although I could print my the ticket for the first leg at the kiosk, I could not print the second. I asked the woman at the desk, and she could not print either. I had to fly to the connecting airport with no connecting ticket in hand."
