"Brian the flight attendant was rude and completely unprofessional"

He had not paid for the upgrade, but the crew let him stay in my seat. I had asked him to social distance but he continued to sit right behind me bo matter which seat I moved to. He argued with the crew until they gave up and let him stay. They did not check his boarding pass or ask him to move to his assigned seat I found a different seat away from him but I don’t see the point in paying for extra legroom when the crew let’s people who haven’t paid for it sit it those seats. I felt harassed by the man and was very uncomfortable the whole flight. I am considering my next step, I think I should at least receive a refund for the upgrade I paid for."

Minusy: "Was not informed that checking in online is the only way to secure a seat. So, regardless of whether you book your tickets 3 months in advance or the day before, you're not actually guaranteed a seat unless you check in online. We weren't told this until we were at the airport and checked in there that we might not be able to get our pre-booked in advance flight because of over-booking from KLM. We then had to wait and see if there were seats available when boarding. Luckily, there were, but we were not sat together. Not the greatest start to our first holiday together as a couple. We were told that if there weren't seats available, they'd pay for us to get to another airport to fly out, which would have meant a huge delay on the only time off we'd get together this year and have to rearrange our pre-booked and pre-paid living arrangements for the week. All because there wasn't a lot of emphasis on the need to check in online before hand. You'd think if someone checked in at the airport, that would be more of a guarantee that they'd be flying with you that day, but apparently not. Definitely not impressed or happy with this part of the KLM experience. This is the only company that we've had this problem with, they should make it clearer that it is essential to check in online."

"My "virtual" flight was okay. In the real world BA cancelled my trip and refunded my $$ through Kayak before I left and I had to rebook a flight on a different airline through Kayak. I was and am surprised that Kayak thinks I am flying on the cancelled tickets that have been refunded. So my ratings of the trip are completely bogus. I would hope that Kayak would corect the flaw in the computer system that thinks cancelled tickets are still "flying"."

Plusy: "My trip had two legs, Austin to Heathrow and Heathrow to Riyadh. The crew from Heathrow to Riyadh were great. I wish I could say the same about the crew from Austin to Heathrow."
Minusy: "Overall, the flight was fine. My comments are relative to BA 1st class. At best, I would rate it in the middle of the business class flights I've flown on other airlines. There is nothing about the experience that is actually 1st class from a separate lounge, to boarding, to in flight meals. The seats on my planes were worse than Turkish Airlines Business class (among many others). Storage around the seat is also FAR worse than other airlines products,even in business class. I had taken the same flights in November and 95-98% of the entertainment options were the same. There were, maybe, 2 new movies and 2-3 new documentaries/TV shows. The in seat charger only worked on one leg. Several meal options were "sold out." Mediocre at best."

Plusy: "The BA crew couldn’t be more excellent! They were friendly and courteous from the moment we stepped onboard the plane and maintained a professionalism all throughout the flight. Kudos once again to British Airways for the consistent service you provide over the years!"

Minusy: "You need to display gate information for connecting flight well in advance for thr elder people to get to the gate on time. We had the gate information displayed just 1 hour before departure. London to hyderabad flight was too cold. If the temperature was adjusted above 72 degrees it would have been appreciated. London to hyderabad flight was cramped up. Not at all spacious, my knees started to hurt after the flight."

I asked the crew about this and I was told that bc other airlines charge for drinks/ food, BA also ask passengers for money. I have not had to pay for my drink like water on any other flight. I fly with all big airlines like American, Delta, Lufthansa, LOT, etc"

There was no time to get through security and make our flight. WE have sat through on stand by for 2 flights. It is not promising that we will get to Paris as scheduled."

I went to the gate anyway to try; the gate attendant kept me waiting for a seat so long that the gate closed. He was not nice. His colleague booked me on a different flight to LCY airport (instead of Heathrow). But that different flight got diverted to Manchester. So the fast that BA overbooked cost me an extra 6 hours and $140 to buy a train & tube ticket to get back to Heathrow. The fact that there was not a single smile among the staff, and I had to argue to even get on the second flight, is inexcusable."

Minusy: "It was August 18. They lost my baggage. Next day on Saturday at 3 pm I had a wedding and I was a wittness.In the baggage a had a dress for me and part of dress for the wedding's couple . They found my baggage on the 3th plane on the last minut. Terrible. And I had go for it by myself because LOT didnt want to send to me the courier. The fly was also 1 hour late"

Plusy: "Crew was nice and food was decent. Flight left a little late but made up time in the air so arrived timely."
Minusy: "Boarding was chaotic - after having first class and preferred passengers board, it was a free for all for all other passengers, which doesn't make a lot of sense and caused a long line. Due to a malfunctioning piece of equipment, the plane was about 90 degrees during boarding and while waiting for takeoff, which was pretty miserable. Temperature was fine after takeoff. The plane itself was very old, seats were cramped, and the screens for movies/tv (and selections themselves) were very poor, which is disappointing for an 8 hour flight. There were no power hookups either, which my Aer Lingus flight a few days beforehand offered. Finally, the passenger in front of me put his seat back while the plane was boarding, making it a struggle to get into my seat while boarding and to get out of it to let others in my aisle out from time to time for the restroom. Can't really blame the last one on the airline, but it added to the misery."

Minusy: "If BA wants to do business in USA, perhaps they might consider that many international travelers use Global Entry and TSA precheck services. It's not nice showing up and taking your shoes off and fumbling through your carry on to consolidate liquids without being forewarned!"

Plusy: "Boarding was speedy and efficient in Austin. The plane (787-9) was very new and clean and felt like a premium experience."
Minusy: "Our assigned crew member was short with customers and not to the usual friendly standard of other BA flights we have taken. The food (Veggie Lacto Ovo) was disappointing. We had no bread versus other passengers and had fruit for both desert and breakfast. A little imagination goes a long way, normally only the main is different but this experience was very underwhelming."

Minusy: "My seat would not recline. Although many other seats we available I was assigned to a middle seat with both aisle and window occupied. The flight was delayed by 2 hrs. Austin baggage services was closed and check in attendants were unablento help me delivered the luggage that was cracked for replacement. I ended up paying for a 2nd checked bag and leave it at Miami AA baggage services for replacement."

Minusy: "DIdnt understand why a seat as not assigned. A few people had the same issue and the gate agent suggested we may not get seats. Very stressful given he need to make an international connection. Gate service was not available early enough."

Minusy: "10 minutes after leaving Austin the pilot tellsnus Houston air traffic control is grounding all westbound flights due to a storm in Dallas that's causing too much congestion. So we sa on the Tarmac for 90 minutes. I have a difficult time believing this situation was a surprise. Possibly it was just to free up the gate and not have to go through reboarding. Also leg room is getting reduced to 28 inches. I'm 5"11 and cramped. How is JetBlue better than American? How much will these airlines continue to bend us over. I didn't even take the screaming infant into account.... since it's not AA's fault for letting that baby on board."

Plusy: "I was flying with 2 children on my own and had an issue booking seats together, the gate agents worked to find a solution when we arrived and we were all seated together. Thank you so much for keeping us all together, as my one child has aspbergers and the other is only 8 and we are not frequent flyers. I highly recommend your airline to everyone I meet. Everything met or exceeded our needs. Thank you so very much."

Minusy: "The landing was horrible like slamming on the brakes in traffic. Also when I bought the ticket from Alaska Airlibes on kayak I had bought it at a higher price specifically for that. There was an American Airlines ticket that was cheaper but I opted to pay more because I thought I was flying on Alaska not American. I was very disappointed to see that I was actually flying on American once I was pro ting my ticket and after purchase and "no refund" message. I was very upset about that!"

Minusy: "Seating still needs a little more padding for comfort. Delta airlines has a screen on every seat and you can see where you are and how far you have gone and so on. That would be nice. It was very difficult to hear what the pilot said when he spoke to say hello and whatever else he said. Entertainment? There wasn't any on this flight"
