On my flight to Ghana the attendants were so gentle and provided a lot of ammenities. Oh and the hotel was an amazing experience and respite especially after the run-around at the airport. Thank you"
Minusy: "I did not enjoy the run-around I was given in trying to find the hotel desk. “50 meters then turn left” was the anthem. All someone had to say was go outside the airport and you’ll find the hotel desk! Hehe thank you Turkish Airlines however! Thank you."

Minusy: "I had my flight from London to Istanbul delayed and because I had connection flight in Istanbul to Russia they had to change my flight for the next day . That ruined my whole holidays and I had to go all the way home from Gatwick airport and next morning going again to Heathrow airport. No transfer or taxi was provided and No single apology from the staff or company . Very disappointed with Turkish airlines !"

Minusy: "We had a connection at Istanbul. No laptop or notebook was allowed. A small portable charger to my iPhone was confisticated even thought it is smaller than my iPhone. Turkish TSA seemed a little confused with what to confisticate. They almost took away my portable shaver too. There were 4 little kids running around aisle during the flight forcing me to watch movies instead of sleep crossing the Atlantic Ocean."

If LH knows that the flight is booked close to capacity I would have expected they do their part and due diligence by swapping to a bigger aircraft to help protect people and their customers, it’s not that they wouldn’t have other aircrafts grounded and ready to go... A reduced beverage service is all you can do, really? LH - very disappointing once again"

Plusy: "Despite the short flight we were still given food and as always I love airline food. Free alcohol is always a bonus as well! Nice crew and timely take offs and landings. Could bring two hand luggage (backpack and suitcase) which I like even though I didn't have to pay extra!"

Minusy: "There was not enough room for all the people’s cabin size luggage. They allowed people to get on board with big coats once they’re in the plain they take off the coats and place them up. Those coats take the same space as a small suitcase. I asked the fly attendants for assistance and they didn’t even pretend to care about the situation. I had to put my luggage under the seat for the entire flight, which ended up reducing the very reduced legroom. What this airline is trying to do is; to charge passengers twice for cabin size luggage. This has been my worst experiences with airlines. Lufthansa is definitely an airline to avoid."

Minusy: "Lufthansa's narrowbodies have one of the most uncomfortable seats in the sky. These slimline seats are built with a central beam running vertically along the midline of the seat, making it very uncomfortable with your spine."

However, this leg of the trip was so late that I barely made it to third leg of the trip. A huge problem is that each of these international airports require that you go through the security check again. For that reason, connecting legs of trips through these airports should not be scheduled so close together. Heathrow is the worst, with security staff that, at best, don’t care that you have a close connection to make and just ignore your pleas to speed up the process, and at worst, are just plain rude."

Minusy: "Cancelled flight and transferring me on turkish airlines again the flight was delayed over three hours.,obviously we have missed our connection flight to Beirut and now waiting in front the hotel desk because the first flight to Beirut is 12:25 pm , I have lost 2 days from my holiday,I'm very tired and upset, I will never use kayak ever again and I will tell all my friends and family to avoid it."

If you are 5ft 5 and above person, I honestly would suggest you buy extra legroom for comfortable purposes. Also, there is like 1 restroom on the whole plane and if you sot at the end, you are screw. Lets not forget that they delayed our flights like 4 hours and only gave us 1 voucher for snack. I don’t expect the experience will be fancy but this is a total disappointment!"

"This was a code share operated by United with a 787. Don't care for the herringbone 2-2-2 seating in business, many other carriers have gone to a 1-2-1 which is better. Food wasn't much better than economy but what really counts is lie flat seats."

Some other taxi driver gave ya a ride & charged ys $50 rather than $20 that ya the cost of our reserved ride. When we got to our hotel, we had to pay $20 for the transfer to hotel even though he left. Now we have no toothbrush or any change of clothes & hopefully we will get our luggage tomorrow after 2pm"

Minusy: "All flight attendants were great except for one tall with very short blonde hair. What a poor attitude! She really ruined my trip. There was not an exchange with her that was friendly and agreeable. When serving drinks a second time, she asked me what would I like to drink and I answered: What do you have? I had not asked the first time drinks were served since I knew I wanted orange juice. he second time, and not wanted to drink the same, I asked: what do you have? and her answer was: "Same as before". I had to let her know I had not asked before and then she proceeded to tell me the different drinks and finally added: My colleague will take care of you. She did not want to serve me. The first incident went I tried to use the bathroom in the back of the plane, she would tell people: "don"t use that one, I need that bathroom for......." ( not sure for what but her tone was so rude,that people walked to the other bathroom embarrassed). All I can say is that everything else was great, including the friendliness of all other crew, but that one ruined the experience. A third time I got up to walk to the bathroom and the seatbelt sign was on, but so it had been for a long time. She prompted me to go back to my seat. All others seem to do their job without been rude, Not sure why this one couldn't. Job stress? Not the passenger's problem. Besides that and the poor movie choices, everything else was great. I think the flight was delayed but to that point everything was going so smooth, I didn't even notice. I will fly Austrian again, and would love to visit Vienna. Please advise how to add the miles of my trip to my account. I booked in Kayak, left to Ohio from Miami running from hurricane Irma, my return from Ohio to Miami was cancelled and I had to embark on that long plan10 day trip without even returning home to Miami to pack. I totally forgot about putting the miles on my account on either ticket counter."

None of the machines could read my passport; and when you entered the data by alternative methods it STILL required a machine to read the passport--which it exactly what they were unable to do. Thus, it was a circular Catch 22. I went through six different lady agents working my way through the system, until they finally took my bag and let me go. They themselves said it was new to them and they did not fully grasp how it worked and they did not know why it did not accept me. SOFTWARE PEOPLE BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD."

Plusy: "The crew worked so hard and were always ready to do more for any problem that arose, be it, mothers with babies, the elderly and infirm, the less than gracious occasional passenger, or younger children. The entertaining things on the individual screens also helped make the long periods of sitting more manageable for young and old."
Minusy: "I didn't like how the passengers in general, left the cabin of the plane in such a mess! The crew came through several times for refuse, so I couldn't understand. Leaving pillows and blankets should be the only thing to clear out. Maybe a note on the TV screen could say, "a tidy plane helps flights be on time :-)""

So, I can't rate this flight because it had nothing to do with Austrian Airlines. You need to update your site so that it clearly states "Operated by..." when people are booking."

Then after pressing the service button and waiting a long time for her to return, she acted like it was a huge inconvenience."

Choices of dinner selections ran out quickly, and serving any type of curry (the only option left) on an 8 hour flight is a very questionable choice.... Staff gave some people the full can of drinks, while others only a half glass. Also, even though there was not much turbulence throughout the flight, the plane was still VERY shaky for the majority of the time in the air. Not very comforting for those who are not frequent flyers. In the future, I plan to stick with British Airlines."

It was efficiently done. We thought the selection of movies to watch were terrific. So glad to have caught up on several I had wanted to see. Minusy: "The plane was delayed just over 3 hours by a mechanical problem with the radar. We taxied to a remote gate while they tried to fix it. Original estimates were an hour, but it ended up being 3 hours. We stayed onboard which was probably best in this case - but having been trapped by United on a flight many years ago from 4 pm until midnight with 3 small children and then told to come back at 7 am the next day - I am very wary of the airline now and actually drive from Washington to Chicago as we could have done that in the time they trapped us! This flight was practically empty however, so unlike many transatlantic flights, we could spread out and were more comfortable than usual. So that was lucky for United otherwise my scores might have been a LOT worse! Also, we hadn't eaten, figuring that we would eat dinner on the flight. So after 3 hours we were a bit peckish! The crew came around with a cookie and water. Really think that might have been a little more especially considering the flight had so few passengers. So we arrived back in DC just about 10 pm and, after clearing customs and getting bags, were home to Arlington about midnight - 5 am our time! Given the conditions and circumstances, the crew did a good job. I would like to think that Austrian Airlines would have some input with United. The outbound daytime flight from Washington to London had been simply terrific with a wonderful crew - new to the route I think. They gave as pointers as to what we were seeing out the window, which we always appreciate. Just as my daughter wondered what we were seeing out the window, the captain would tell us. So in short, the outbound flight was in a different league to the return flight. But that's down to United and not Austrian Airlines. And these things happen and I'm glad we didn't have to change planes or make other plans."

Minusy: "I paid for extra leg room to sit in economy plus. My friend who paid the same price as me for our original ticket, but didn't upgrade was put in the same row at no additional cost. The seatting pricing is rigged."
