The bathrooms did not have warm water and the sense of comfort is to be found only in business and first class. We fly to Zurich a lot because we have family there and we always take SWISS for a direct flight. They have old planes, the little TVs by the seats may or may not work and although the crew is nice and well trained, they cannot substitute for the discomfort of 10 hours flights in a crammed place. Sorry SWISS."

When I did the check in in Prague and got my boarding pass the told me that the system picked me to have the additional random checkup at Zurich airport. Its ok. If it’s done for security reason why to tell the people ahead of time that they will have additional checkup of bags and personal stuff. If you want to do it for security reason do it ( I want to be safe) but don’t do it for the check mark , it doesn’t make any sense and doesn’t protect us."

Minusy: "Entertainment options more limited than Delta or Virgin, who I’ve usually flown intercontinental. Boarding in Zurich was a mess. No order to it and they didn’t start boarding until 20 minutes before takeoff. Nearly every intercontinental flight I’ve taken needs closed to 45-60 minutes to do a full board. Sure we made up the time in the air but the process to get on the plane was frustrating."

Minusy: "Rude gate staff who boarded economy and business all at once causing a 45 minute delay. Indifferent to passenger complaints and only had one boarding scanner for the entire flight. Slow and inefficient, and worst of all, unapologetic."

Minusy: "Was asked to give up my aisle seat (D 40) seat om a 13 hour flight for a less comfortable one (F). Put on the spot to give up my seat for a couple with a 6 month old infant due to the fact that the attachable bassinet had to be in front of the D seat. Neither the parent or myself felt very good about my displacement."

Minusy: "I arrived to the airport within an hour of boarding time. I wasn't told the gate to my plane until 8:30. When I arrived to the gate there were no employees to speak to and it stated boarding time was 8:35 we didn't board until 9! It was just scary and confusing for someone flying alone in another country. When all the other confused flyers asked simple questions the employees at the gate were annoyed and rude."

Plusy: "The captain refused to turn on the AC until we were just about to leave. Many passengers were complaining. The crew refused to help or do anything. Then during the flight they kept the air flow down to a minimum so again it was boiling hot. DON'T FLY Swiss Air if you like normal temperatures!"

Minusy: "There is no question about check-in?? My ticket, booked through Kayak, did not state that no baggage is included. The Swiss air just said I should have picked it up from the booking and forced me to pay Euro 30, which I will claim back from Kayak. This is gross misrepresentation and on the same ticket flying a luggage was included."

Minusy: "Besides the seat relative comfort, it did not recline much at all, i wondered what the extra money (at least $5 or $600) got us. The food, wine/ beer service was same as regular economy, the boarding took place at same time as economy, no drink before take-off if only sparkling water. And the plane was old generation 747 and the entertainment was same vintage: screen was not very bright and the selection of films was poor. No plug to charge electronics. We were disappointed with KLM when comparing with other airline companies offerings when you book in Premium Economy."

Minusy: "Exceptionally unhelpful customer service when asking about extra kilos/bags. Just quoted the online info back at us. We simply wanted to know how much would be charged if the bag was 1-2kgs overweight. We could not get a straight answer, just quoted the unclear company policy. Extremely frustrating and annoying. KLM offer a superior flight experience - it is a shame their terrestrial customer servic does not match it!"
