I don’t think words can express how satisfied I am with this airlines and airport. The nicest people and great service. Clean and modern aircraft. Going to try flying only with KLM from now on."

Plusy: "The flight started with a visit in the recently renovated KLM crown lounge in Amsterdam airport. I liked the various seating options and of course the upstairs bar. The service on board was attentive and efficient, the food options I really liked (especially the Chinese dish) but also the little touches like the nuts & gouda cheese which were served in small porcelain bowls. The seat itself was very comfortable when sitting and the structure gives a lot of privacy. However for couples or friends travelling it's a bit cumbersome to have a conversation even when sitting in seats next to each other. Overall my expectations were fulfilled."
Minusy: "This seat is not ideal for sleeping for taller persons (I'm 185cm tall) as the space to put the feet is very narrow and it's uncomfortable when lying on the back (as one cannot put them in the natural resting position). Cabin temperature could have been a bit lower for my taste. Crew needs better training with regards to transfer procedure in Chengdu."

I could not store my belongings near me. No power outlet to charge my devices for my own entertainment on a 7 hour flight. Dealing with constant traffic for the bathroom. I sat in the middle seat between two hours other men. It was a constant struggle arm space. After 7hours in the air I could not wait to get off the plane. If I didn't actually pay an extra €60 for the seat I may not feel bad but I feel like I might have been better off without paying for the "upgrade""

Minusy: "This airline charges for everything, and after you pay once, they try to charge you again, and again, and again (four different people tried to charge me 4 different times for my two checked bags). And they lost the record of my payment, so I had to show 4 times the Amex receipt showing that I had paid before. It took 45 minutes and 4 non receptive agents for me to get my luggage checked. British Airways is significantly better."

I had to stand for about 50 minutes, either on the crowded bus or, after climbing with great difficulty three flights of stairs to a high jet-bridge (I am 76), standing there forever with 200 persons waiting to get access to the plane. Totally unacceptable. They started the boarding process early (50 minutes before departure), but passengers were allowed to actually board the plane at the time it was supposed to take off."

Minusy: "I paid for a"premium" seat on one of the emergency exit rows for the extra legroom. This was next to a galley. The seat itself was no more than 18" wide (NO EXAGGERATION!!) if not less. I had to sit on an angle (one butt cheek at a time) for 9 yours. I do not have a big butt either. This seat should have been a discounted seat, not a premium seat. I am so angry about this, I will NEVER fly Air France again."

Sitting in exit row with no floor storage so this delay made it hard to find overhead storage above my seat. (Grrrr) Entertainment system didn't work which made the flight feel LOOONG. (They offered an in-flight credit, but I'd paid for premium exit row seat and had to choose between moving to working system in crowded middle seat or keep premium, exit seat. I decided to have them move me to a seat with a working entertainment system, which were available and they'd offered, but never happened.) When I got home, I discovered the gift I purchased with in-flight credit and my own money wasn't the one I'd requested from Duty Free catalog so now I have to figure out how to solve this problem. (COULDN'T GET IT RIGHT.) Premium exit row seat was narrow, due to in-seat tray table & entertainment system, but seatbelt mounts and thinly padded seat made it even more uncomfortable on a long flight."

Plusy: "The food was pretty good and the staff were friendly. During our transfer in Paris, my mum had a medical emergency and had to go to the medical centre. As such wr couldnt go to our final destination in Morocco and had to get our luggage off the plane. The staff at the AF counter were very helpful in that aspect. And when one of the luggages was completely damaged, it was replaced it with a brand new one which was fantastic. On the way back, we had some issues with the ticket because we didnt go to Morocco as planned which resulted in some trouble checking in. But the staff at the counter were quite helpful."

Poor communication between plane and ground crew. No explanation from pilot as to continuing reason for delay even after we boarded. Departure time, 1.00 pm, boarded at 1.10, actual departure time 1.45, causing me to almost miss my connection and definitely causing my bags to miss the connection."

In bewilderment I asked her in English to repeat herself and she sarcastically repeated what she had said, in French, I asked for her to speak in English (which she had done to me previously on this Paris to London flight) yet again she scolded me in French. I was left absolutely none the wiser and it left a bad taste in my mouth."

Minusy: "I booked via Lastminute.com and I was unable to check in online due to a system error. I called BA who said this is a fairly common issue with booking with some travel providers for BA flights. As a result I was only able to check in at the airport (which was 19 hours after I planned to check in online) and hence got a mediocre seat. This issue should be resolved, especially between such an established airline and such an established travel website. The entertainment is poor. The music available only caters for certain tastes (either it is ultra modern or classical) and the selection is markedly inferior to that of other airlines. The film selection is very limited."

Minusy: "I got to the airport the morning of my flight from Warsaw -Dublin and was told my flight was cancelled and no longer exists. Luckily I got a hold of my daughter who was in LA at this time and woke her up at 1am with this issue. She called the web booking company Webjet where you directed us to buy the flight, and was told by Webjet that my flight was cancelled the day before and we were not notified IN ANY WAY! By some miracle, my daughter was able to talk to Webjet and get me on a new flight last minute. Again, this is all happening at 1am California time while I am stranded at the airport in Warsaw! Unacceptable!!! I am however glad that the issue was resolved and I made it home safely. But I think someone needs to look into this immediately because if it wasn't for my daughter, I wouldn't have left the Warsaw airport due to the fact that the airline cancelled the flight and neither the airline, Kayak, nor Webjet notified me...."

British Airways should have staff available to process passengers and boarding passes, luggage checkin, etc. earlier for their flights."

I loved that there were new release movies available for free. The staff was friendly and available. If I were to do another long flight like that, I would seek out British Airways."

However in this case the security officer went out of his way to make the process as slow as he could. Very bad, stressful experience traveling on BA with connection at Heathrow."

Lo que fue horrible, el olor, los pasajeros haciendo fila al lado de mi asiento todo el tiempo, sin poder descansar o estar tranquila. Comprendo que pueden haber descompuestos en el avión y cambiarlo por otro pero al menos al re asignar asientos deberían ver los lugares iniciales que tenía cada uno y no dejar a quienes habían solicitado con anticipación los primeros en el último, literalmente en los últimos puestos. Además la comida es bastante mala."

Hope delta hires more ground crew so that others arent inconvenienced in the future."

Boarding and check-in were also disorganized and many people from lower zones boarded before zone 1 and those with children, m among we had to stand on the ramp for a very long time holding our baby."

Flight was scheduled to take off at 1210 pm, delayed to 1510, delayed again to 1700 then delayed to 2110 and hen finally boarded at 2230 but the flight did not take off for an additional 2 hours making the total flight delay 12+ hours. My mom did not speak English and the staff at the boarding gate would not provide her a translator nor where they willing to talk to us over the phone to assist her. I understand that delays happen but the lack of assistance and multiple delays was alarming (with clear weather). Air Canada device over the phone was unprofessional as well when I called to discuss the lack of assistance we received."

Lufthansa is shooting itself into foot by Air Canada alliance .Never again will I book my flight with Air Canada Airlines ( God forbid Rouge).Flight Toronto Vancouver ,disgrace ....freezing cold on board but staff wouldn't notice same because they were not present except giving off skimpy 2 servings of water/juice . Tea (old ,too strong,yak).Wake up people ,none of the passengers I spoken to had anything positive to say ! I liked my Lufthansa flight to Europe but for the sheer reason having to return with Air Canada I will avoid booking this flight .Thank You."

The plane was very dirty - trash in between the seat 4. The food was the worst I ever tried on the plane 5. I was very surprised at the very disappointing service. I must say, with all the travel I do, apart from 1 young lade, the flight attendants acted like they loathed being there. It is so disappointing especially b/c I am Canadian so it is a bit embarrassing that Air Canada seems to have such terrible service. 6. The flight attendants were out of a lot of things, I heard them mention several beverages they were out of throughout the flight. I also heard them say that there will be no hot beverages while seatbelt sign is on (which it was a lot). I guess that is reasonable, however, it is the first time I have encountered that on the place. Instead they directed to passengers to come up to the back of the plane to get a hot beverage when the seatbelt sign was off. I did a few times - 1st time they said they were out of cups and to stop by later. But 2nd time had the cups. Did these cups get magically delivered midair or perhaps maybe they just needed to bring cups from the storage on the place and could have given me an option to wait while they retrieve them. 2nd time when I stopped by to try to get a hot beverage, a lady with black hair just gave me an empty cup. The whole experience with this flight was confusing - some attendants seemed not to understand fully what passengers were asking."

Minusy: "All the flight attendants seemed a bit frazzled; I felt guilty for asking for wine with lunch, and you had to either use your own device or pay $10 to access the in-flight entertainment. Even then, I could only watch TV shows on my laptop --you need an app to see movies. Very strange and felt like being in a domestic flight."

Minusy: "The plane was not clean, there was debris on all the seats. It was hot and smelly. I'm not sure if passengers brought food but very overpowering and gross. I wanted to vomit the entire flight."

Minusy: "Nine hour flight from Warsaw to Toronto, 7 hours of on and off ear-piercing screaming two year old child. Even though it was a daytime flight, most passengers wanted to sleep due to early morning wake up and previous connections. Even for somebody who wished to stay awake, there was nothing pleasurable about this situation. The airlines are going to have to figure out how to deal with this ever-increasing problem on long-distance flights, like a closed door quiet space for the parent and child. It was like being trapped in a torture chamber. If an adult had created that much commotion and misery on a flight, they would have been forcefully subdued and probably arrested. A few minutes of a crying baby can be excused, but this was non-stop disturbance by an unruly child and complacent parent(s)."

Minusy: "Air Canada Oversold my flight, the process of reaching my destination was incredibly painful and uncertain. For example -at one point an Air Canada service representative provided me with a ticket for my original flight with a seat assignment however when I tried to board the aircraft the gate agent confiscated the ticket and then destroyed it advising that I was not supposed to get a seat. Air Canada gate agents and check in staff were visibly struggling with the computer booking/reservation system at multiple points throughout this process. For example - at one point my bag was checked on a flight that I was not on and the gate agent openly expressed disbelief and concern that it was happening outside their control... very concerning."

Plusy: "Great, new aircraft, entertainment system much improved"
Minusy: "Business class boarding was slow, behind the people pretending to need advance boarding (but who recover on the plane and spring to their feet (vs waiting for assistance) at the destination and charge off unassisted. AC is pinching pennies (e.g., to save 2 cents/breakfast they omit the tomato relish that used to keep the omelette from seeming dry)."

Minusy: "the gate changed FOUR times and passengers were never notified as there were no crew at the gate. The flight was delayed by two hours. there was no in-flight entertainment on board as it wasn't working. upon landing, we were forced to stay in the plane for an extra 30 minutes because the gate and crew were not ready. I was NOT impressed by this flight and am very upset with how things went. I expected better of AC and will not be flying again with them."
