Food is great, both in presentation and taste, and serve with refined courtesy... I will gladly fly on this aircraft again on my way back."

There were no clear directions for boarding categories which would have helped n the States because we are so used to following a simple procedure. More than that is needed in Athens where the V formation usually rules when talking about lines. Once on board, we were not served anything until @ 90 minutes after takeoff. If people didi not come on board with a drink - that is a long period of time to wait!"

Minusy: "Seats are too small. Very difficult to stand up and get out of your seat. Even young people have trouble getting up and out into the aisle. The aisle is TOO NARROW! At least one seat on each row should be eliminated, as well as one row to give economy class room. I was on the aisle (seat D), and was unlucky to have a woman and her husband (seats E & F) ask me to get up several times (because passenger in seat G was asleep). I was not at all happy with the movie choices; they were mostly modern and violent. Food selection was unavailable. Menu choices were chicken & fish. Chicken was NOT AVAILABLE."

It took 2 hours to get through customs in the middle of the night because after we had already filled out all information regarding piece of luggage with one baggage counter employee. Japanese Customs refused to let us through due to "unaccompanied baggage" since the piece was lost by the airline and had us go back to another baggage employee who couldn't grasp that we already went through the process and had no clue what to do."

Minusy: "I have been told at the airport that I had an unconfirmed flight and was told that I could not travel to Istanbul. I am still at my departure city, in Chicago. I bought my tickets just like anybody would, go on the website, pick the flights and pay. But someone did not do their job correctly and did not correctly confirm my flight. I paid for this incompetence by missing Christmas and a business meeting. Do not think it will never happen to you, it is just a matter of time that this kind of bad service catches up to you. The system is so disconnected or careless that it can't even figure out I couldn't take the flight which it is is asking me a review for."

Minusy: "I like everything"

Plusy: "Planes are very clean, food is excellent, there is plenty of alcohol, and the crew treats economy passengers as if they were royalty. Flying attendants clean toilette each hour, There is also a flower pasted on the mirror in the toilette. All details of the flight have been take care of."
Minusy: "1) The safety record is not superb https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turkish_Airlines#Incidents_and_accidents 2) Political situation in Turkey is unstable. 3) Most of Europe is west of Istanbul - the flights to Europe are longer. BUT ANYWAY: THE AIRLINES ARE WORKING HARD TO OVERCOME ALL OBSTACLES AND PRICES ARE GREAT."

Minusy: "They changed checkined seat numbers. Air conditioning was a total failure."

Plusy: "Great food and service. Turkish Airlines has always had a good reputation as we flew with them for years and that hasn't changed. My only one peeve was that I was asked by the flight to sit next to an unaccompanied minor in case of energency. Being a mother. I thought, no problem. The child then became my responsibility on a ten hour flight. Boundaries were crossed when it graduated from assistance to responsibility byt little one could do mid air."

Minusy: "It left late, the plane lost my friend's luggage for a day."

Minusy: "Departure from Istanbul was delayed, then there was a backup for takeoff, so we sat on the tarmac an extra half hour. Still don't understand why the Istanbul-to-IAD flight is scheduled to be an hour and a half longer than the IAD-to-Istanbul leg was. Apparently there was no effort to make up lost time, so our scheduled 7:10pm arrival was after 8pm. Pasta dish was clearly supposed to be a hot meal, but it was cold when served."

Plusy: "The entertainment options were great."
Minusy: "The first delay during my trip was due to an emergency but my layover was delayed again. I'm not sure if this is an outlier event or if this is a pattern."

Plusy: "All aspects of the flight were flawless. Lounge in IST is always a great addition."

Minusy: "Turkish Airlines did not transfer my bag. I am still waiting to find out if it has been routed to MLX."

Plusy: "Turkish Airlines offered the best connections to Athens at the best price. Connections were very tight and coming and going worked because the planes were absolutely punctual."
Minusy: "I had to check my laptop (not the airline's fault) and the procedure was more tedious than I'd like."

Minusy: "Crew was little bit nervous and not nice all the time!"

Plusy: "Once on the plane everything was fine."
Minusy: "My first flight was changed. Only one email was send about that change. It got lost in some other emails so I didn't see it. But I did not receive any other update or reminder. So I had figure out how to change all of my flights from there to Kansas in the States. All with bad internet service and unhelpful costomer service. And having to deal with two unexpected long layovers. All that to say, sending periodic emails is important especially if the flight had been changed."

Plusy: "Courteous and accommodating staff, delicious meals, and super entertainment. Punctual."

Minusy: "Fantastic"

Minusy: "I'm very upset with the airline ... I filed a claim money back through the policy ... I do not presented to outbound flight because I had lost my passport ... However, buy another ticket of plane in the same airline and when I wanted to take my return ticket was told it was canceled and I had to buy another ticket plane ... very bad."

Plusy: "Entertainment options"
Minusy: "There was no food for me and my wife. I don't eat Beaf or Fish and wife is a pure vegetarian. We placed our special order during booking but were told that we had to inform the airline 1 day before to make special order booking. Leg space is very less in flights."

Minusy: "I got lucky I came home alive"

Plusy: "Low prices & generally good service and entertainment"
Minusy: "This airline used to be excellent. Now, the prices have been going up and the standards down. Service not as good, food not as tasty, plentiful and varied, crew not as warm and attentive. Instabul airport was the usual chaos, which does not add to the experience for transfers. Also: boarding started late and of course was not done and time and since we lost our slot we were further delayed taking off. That made the transfer time even less and the situation more stressful."

Plusy: "Free blockbuster movies. Two meals. And a in-flight comfort bag that included a variety of things including, an eye mask and slippers. Always came around with drinks."

Minusy: "They changed departure time by 30 minutes and did not send a single message."

Plusy: "Very little"
Minusy: "There was a weather delay and Turkish airlines is very strict and unforgiving even when there are effected, They cancelled the entire ticket due to weather related delays. If you use Turkish Airlines you are entirely on your own. They mad us buy an entire new ticket."

Plusy: "The movie selection was great. Flight times were right on track. No unnecessary delays. Food was good too."
Minusy: "The incredibly long layover. 9+ hours. We were all cramped in this incredibly small space like sardines. Please don't decrease seat space more! Very uncomfortable seats. I could not get my seat to recline at all. Service was very slow. Especially clean-up of food trays."

Minusy: "Entwrtainment Audio was noisy"

Plusy: "Boarding was efficient and the crew were nice."
Minusy: "the seating is horrible. it was the tightest seating I've ever experienced."

Plusy: "Due to business I travel allot so I deal with allot of airlines. This is by far the best airlines I have used. Excellent crew and airport staff. I don’t think words can express how satisfied I am with this airlines and airport. The nicest people and great service. Clean and modern aircraft. Going to try flying only with KLM from now on."

Minusy: "We were changed from KLM to Airiltalia without any information sent so only because I tried to check in did I find out the flight on KLM was cancelled and we were changed to Airitalia. The Airitalia flight was very mediocre."

Minusy: "There were several flight delays and gates were changes a few times."

Plusy: "The flight started with a visit in the recently renovated KLM crown lounge in Amsterdam airport. I liked the various seating options and of course the upstairs bar. The service on board was attentive and efficient, the food options I really liked (especially the Chinese dish) but also the little touches like the nuts & gouda cheese which were served in small porcelain bowls. The seat itself was very comfortable when sitting and the structure gives a lot of privacy. However for couples or friends travelling it's a bit cumbersome to have a conversation even when sitting in seats next to each other. Overall my expectations were fulfilled."
Minusy: "This seat is not ideal for sleeping for taller persons (I'm 185cm tall) as the space to put the feet is very narrow and it's uncomfortable when lying on the back (as one cannot put them in the natural resting position). Cabin temperature could have been a bit lower for my taste. Crew needs better training with regards to transfer procedure in Chengdu."

Minusy: "No outlets to charge digital devices, and need more bathrooms on board. I was able to sleep most of the 11 hour flight so I did not take advantage of the entertainment."

The flight attendants were rushing and will take a while if you needed anything. I felt like I was taking a bus with graffiti all over the place."

Plusy: "Fairly nice flight. 7 hours AMS to JFK. They had ice cream cones for us mid flight and an after dinner cognac if you wished."
Minusy: "Not a big fan of paying for a few extra inches of leg room in a better seat after paying for a ticket."
