Minusy: "I had paid for an upgrade to sit in the front of the cabin with extra legroom (row 14A). When I boarded a man sat it my seat. He had not paid for the upgrade, but the crew let him stay in my seat. I had asked him to social distance but he continued to sit right behind me bo matter which seat I moved to. He argued with the crew until they gave up and let him stay. They did not check his boarding pass or ask him to move to his assigned seat I found a different seat away from him but I don’t see the point in paying for extra legroom when the crew let’s people who haven’t paid for it sit it those seats. I felt harassed by the man and was very uncomfortable the whole flight. I am considering my next step, I think I should at least receive a refund for the upgrade I paid for."

Minusy: "The plane wasn't refueled and so was not ready for take off once the passengers were loaded. The plane had a technical problem when it tried the first take off and so it had to be abandoned. This was alarming.."

The ticket agent, the gate agent and the cabin crew all did nothing to make up for the fact that their system screwed up and stuck me in a cramped coach seat in the back of the plane for 11 hours-- TWICE! Beyond that, KLM must have one of the oldest fleets in the sky. Both ways LAX->AMS->LAX, I was on a 30-35 year old 747 with no wifi, no power and a ten-year-old entertainment system. Never again."

Relaxing atmosphere, comfortable seating, great in-flight entertainment, although I have the go-go in-flight data/entertainment plan with t-mobile (highly recommended), the flight included a decent selection of movies, television programs, etc. The food far exceeded typical "airline quality," even for an international flight - and included a fabulous little snack box with locally sourced gourmet and specialty items such as chocolate from Belgium, fine cheeses from France, and crackers from England. Drinks = gratis, and crew was exceptionally attentive and went out of their way to make flight as pleasant as possible."

Minusy: "They have a terrible communication problem, they never communicated why the flight was late, they never communicated what they were doing or what was happening. Bad customer service. Bad communication with the client. They told us when I asked several times that we would not lose our connection and that everything was fine and that was not the case. We lost the connection. No one told us anything. Another problem was that the girl in the boarding process removed the suitcases tickets from the boarding pass and did not want to return them, and held it without any cause. The flight staff went looking for us. Pretty sad and disappointed by their service. I understand that they were causes outside the airline but must communicate to the client. They cannot remain silent and say nothing."

The plane was very hot, with very little air flowing through the salon. Food was bland for dinner and inedible for breakfast. The crew was barely there, and borderline rude when asked something."

I had to sit on an angle (one butt cheek at a time) for 9 yours. I do not have a big butt either. This seat should have been a discounted seat, not a premium seat. I am so angry about this, I will NEVER fly Air France again."

Minusy: "The flight was a chartered flight . Air France informed us that due to cabin crew shortage they couldn't operate an air france flight and hence they hired Air Belgium. Whilst the crew were nice , the actual plane was old and creaky. It wasn't up to the standards expected of Air France. They could have done better in getting a plane up to standard. A lot of the passengers were disappointed ."

They gave away our seats, told us we would not get on, would not get our baggage and would not get put up in a hotel. Because of the NBA draft - had to travel 60 miles to New Jersey for a hotel. Lost a day, lost 2 tours, endured additional hotel costs...and the attendant made it clear she was on overtime and we just needed to move on. American Airlines is too big and consolidation of airlines has not been good for the public."

Getting onto the plan was awful - the aisle are SO TINY - I'm 5'6" tall and 140 lbs, trying to roll a small back through the aisle, and it was impossible not to hit 14 people. It's like you have to go to class on how to walk through the aisle and not be an idiot."

"United caused me to miss a dinner date, made it difficult to get to my car in the parking garage as we arrived AFTER O'hare closed down for the day. At a minimum, the should upgrade my Frequent Flyer status permanently."

"Everything was well from checking to landing. Only thing would be the entertainment. A lot of outdated Tv shows and movies."

Minusy: "United canceled the flight ~36 hours in advance of the departure time because of anticipated severe weather. The forecast did not include any bad weather, and the apparent reason for the cancellation was excess capacity on routes to non-Newark United hubs from Norfolk. United refused to accommodate us on a comparable flight on another airline, and Delta offered a direct flight for less money than we originally paid United. United alienated a previously loyal United customer."

Plusy: "Everything was great"

Plusy: "While i normally fly AA i gave United a try & my flight to Austin was surprisingly comfortable & enjoyable. The trip back was another story. Seated between two very nice but 250lb people who spilled over into my seat. The Entertainment channel was best part of trip and that was uneven."
Minusy: "Incredibly uncomfortable. Inedible food that I had to pay for was another frustration. We had a 45 min flight delay. At that point food should be gratis. A good opportunity to create loyalty was squandered. Complete lack of awareness about human essentials."

Plusy: "Seats are too crowded."

Minusy: "Wifi and power outlets.. even on the small planes"

Minusy: "Was not asked for my ID on check in, Cold on plane, was not offered snacks, steward was chomping on his gum annoying...no in flight food offered, speaker system was loud and hard to hear"

Plusy: "the flight from JKT to Tokyo to Newark was good, entertainment was good, food was good, crew was good."
Minusy: "THE flight from Newark to Montreal was HORRIBLE! the flight was delayed and when we boarded, we were stranded on the taxiways for 2,5 hours. After 20 hours of flying, and you know your last flight was just another hour, I ended up arriving Montreal at 12.30 AM when it should've been 9 PM"

Plusy: "With the amount of bad press that United has, I did not expect much. However, flight was on time, everybody was polite, movie selection was excellent (several classics, box office hits, comedies etc, they even appropriately put "Die hard" under Winter Wonderland), food was good and salted caramel ice cream for dessert was a very nice touch."
Minusy: "Tiny seats. My God, would it hurt to have TWO arm rests? I ended up sitting for 8h crooked to the right, just to avoid touching the guy beside me."

Minusy: "Where to start. Delayed, usual charming flight attendants, warm wine, no vegetarian menu options, fish said turbot and was something else for sure. Luggage took for ever. Reminds me why I avoid them if I can"

Minusy: "streaming entertainment and wifi were not functioning on this flight Seats are smaller in width (17inches) with the newer seating configuration in economy on the Boeing 777"

Plusy: "Having a nice breakfast at Ruby's in between flights. Houston is a beautiful airport. When my sciatica got too painful from dragging my baggage allover the airports, United instantly got me setup with a wheelchair and a very helpful person that made everything more bearable. The food was overpriced but good."
Minusy: "The long walks between domestic and international terminals. and broken people movers. Houston is huuuuuuuge!"

Plusy: "The flight was on time. Departure and arrival were bith smooth and staff was friendly amd attentive. Kayak has been my go to when booking flightd and hotels."

Plusy: "The staff was excellent. United has improved their customer service."
Minusy: "I just felt that even though it was a short flight, they could’ve offered water. However I do understand it was a short flight"

Plusy: "Not much."
Minusy: "The flight was more than half empty and instead of allowing customers to move forward to the “premium” seats, the flight crew keep everyone all bunched up in the back of the plane. It would have been a nice customer service gesture to allow people to move forward. And, hey, maybe next time people would have bought those seats if they could have experienced them. Guess I should have felt lucky to remain on the plane and not get punched in the face..."

Minusy: "Flight switched, old plane operated by Privelage Style, 0 entertainment and poor service throughout the 7 + hours from Chicago, flight an hour delayed as well"

Plusy: "The male flight attendant who was in the rear respectfully listened to me."
Minusy: "The United passenger agent that talked to me at the gate when the other one, who was scanning the boarding passes put me on the side because I could not board with two items was disrespectful. She used a discriminating tone and embarrassed me in front of other people. She made it sound as if it were a shame to purchase a cheap ticket. She was arguing with another passenger before helping me over the same subject, so when I tried to explain that the smallest backpack was almost empty and fit inside the other, she was impatient, upset ignored me and was already demanding my credit card with the bag tag in her hand rushing me. I paid extra $60.00 after I had paid $25,00 for the first bag when I could have put the flexible kipling inside the Jansport if she had listened to me. The flight delayed after I was unable to defend myself and paid an unfair feer."

Plusy: "Upgrade and lay flat seats."

Minusy: "I was texted the flight would be delayed 30 min, then another text said 15 min earlier then a 3rd text said back to the original time, so I had to rush to leave after assuming I had an extra 30 min, then the plane left late after all."

Plusy: "Great food, friendly crew"
Minusy: "Terrible seats"

Minusy: "I know it's cliché...but really..the food is horrible."

Minusy: "Had to wait an hour to receive luggage at terminal Small airport at midnight is unacceptable."

Minusy: "Seat space is minimal. Snack was a tiny bag of snack mix and drinks were served as a cup serving. Pay for in flight tv service"

Plusy: "Service and comfortable seat"
Minusy: "100 dollar baggage fee"

Plusy: "Staff were courteous, efficient, and friendly. Bathroom was clean. Gate check of bag worked. Flight was smooth and uneventful. (just what it should be!)"

Plusy: "Other than the boarding issues, it was a pretty standard flight. Left early and got to Newark early."
Minusy: "I thought the boarding process for the United Flight departing from Owen Roberts International was very very poor. I understand it is a small airport catering to different destinations in the world but the boarding process was chaotic. The lines were all blending, they started the boarding process very early, many people were still going through security."

Minusy: "It was cancelled in the early AM, due to equipment failure"

Plusy: "The flight was on time and the crew was great. No complaints for the air and the ground team at all"
Minusy: "WiFi and TV it's way too expensive No free options to entertain yourself. At least give us a USB port on the seat to access my mobile device. Very narrow seats"

Plusy: "Service on board and at the gate was wonderful. Crew was great. United's entertainment options are the best."
Minusy: "Delay of over four hours due to two maintenance problems on two different jets. Customer service did not seem fully informed of the problem and there was a lot of confusion among the passengers. Communication could have been clearer."

Minusy: "I missed my connection in DEN to DSM by MINUTES!!! The flight crew from OAX to DEN would NOT ask for the flight to DSM to wait. We were only 2gates away!!! So much for the friendly skies."

Plusy: "Staff are nice and helpful."
Minusy: "Everything is an additional cost! Food, tv, beverages and that is not how it is anywhere else unless you are on a budget airline or flight which this was not."

Minusy: "I missed my flight due to medical reasons and I am still trying to get a refund."

Plusy: "There was a 30 minute delay, but we managed to get to Chicago close to on time."

Plusy: "It was a old plane , entertainment was horrible . There was no choice of movies and other channels . For a flight this long they should have thought about this"
