I decided to have them move me to a seat with a working entertainment system, which were available and they'd offered, but never happened.) When I got home, I discovered the gift I purchased with in-flight credit and my own money wasn't the one I'd requested from Duty Free catalog so now I have to figure out how to solve this problem. (COULDN'T GET IT RIGHT.) Premium exit row seat was narrow, due to in-seat tray table & entertainment system, but seatbelt mounts and thinly padded seat made it even more uncomfortable on a long flight."

The check in process was not clearly defined and even after spending 30 minutes checking a bag I️ still had to care my checked bag down to another TSA check line. In their boarding area there were minimal phone chargers. The plane was small and no leg room and a rigid uncomfortable seat. Also the flight was at night and they kept the cabin lights on. That was super frustrating to an exhausted traveler who was trying to sleep."

It took one call to British Airlines to get me rebooked. Something american was taking hours. I still won’t make it on time but at least I’ll make it. American then misplaced my luggage and it took two hours to retrieve it. Turns out it was sitting behind the counter the whole time the kept telling me it would be on the baggage flame area."

That creates a lot of jams at the end of the flight. Also, younger passengers often try to rush out of the plane rather than waiting for their row. This should be stopped."

Minusy: "There was a strike in Lisbon. Thousands of people trying to go through security and four people working the booths. Plus NO information. Just chaos, bad feelings and HOURS of standing in lines. Stressful. Will NEVER go to Lisbon again."
Plusy: "We were traveling with a 7 month old so boarding was made easy by the crew. Most of the crew were quite pleasant during the flight."
Minusy: "The entertainment system hand piece failed so you were unable to select channels, turn the over head light off or ever call for assistance. We had to get another passenger to do that for us. Ultimately the light bulb had to be removed from the fixture. During the flight, we asked for more refreshments and were told we could only have water by a flight attendant. Upon arrival at our destination with a child in hand, our stroller was not unloaded at the gate so we had to carry our child and all that travels with him to the baggage area. For anyone travelling internationally, you will know this is generally quite a distant from the gate in major airports. The strollers and car seats arrived in baggage 30 minutes after the main luggage. When staff were approached they were short and appeared very disinterested in helping. TAP failed on this flight home."

We then discovered that since they were short one crew member the crew would not serve food or drinks for "safety concerns". It turns out they could have served but preferred to adhere to their union under the guise of passenger safety and remain seated the entire flight doing crossword puzzles and the like which definitely made me feel much safer."
Plusy: "Entertainment! Loved having such a wide selection of things to watch on the screen at my seat. Such a nice luxury to be able to watch a movie, a show, check the status of the flight/plane/distance/time/map, and more."
Minusy: "The food wasn't that appetizing. It actually gave me upset stomach for the rest of the flight. I was in the bathroom 3x during the flight and I usually don't use the restroom more than once during any given flight. I didn't like that when asking for a drink of water, they only give a half full cup of room-temperature water. On an 8 hour flight, I get dehydrated and could drink 2 water bottles alone. I don't like to be a nuisance to the attendants so I only asked for water twice. I just wish they would provide small personal bottles per customer. I also have never flown on TAP before so I wasn't aware of anything like how to call an attendant using the touch-screen or even that watching movies was free. It should be said over the intercom at the beginning of the flight."
Minusy: "First flight was delayed by just a half an hour and we arrived in Portugal. We had a connecting flight to AMS with also TAP and had a two hour window to make the next flight with the same company (TAP). We were in line for passport and then security and talked to several TAP employees and they said we would be have time and wouldn't have a problem catching the second flight. Well, we got through the lines with 30 min before our next flight and they wouldn't let us on. Customer service and organization of the airline is really poor. The aircraft had minimal room and no entertainment. We got on our next flight five hours later and all they gave us was a $10 food voucher. So poorly managed."

Minusy: "It's unavoidable when flying between multi-lingual locations, but having movies and stuff pause three times for each announcement gets annoying. The rolls served with the meals were very dry. These are small nits, and the flight was generally enjoyable."

Tea (old ,too strong,yak).Wake up people ,none of the passengers I spoken to had anything positive to say ! I liked my Lufthansa flight to Europe but for the sheer reason having to return with Air Canada I will avoid booking this flight .Thank You."

The plane was very dirty - trash in between the seat 4. The food was the worst I ever tried on the plane 5. I was very surprised at the very disappointing service. I must say, with all the travel I do, apart from 1 young lade, the flight attendants acted like they loathed being there. It is so disappointing especially b/c I am Canadian so it is a bit embarrassing that Air Canada seems to have such terrible service. 6. The flight attendants were out of a lot of things, I heard them mention several beverages they were out of throughout the flight. I also heard them say that there will be no hot beverages while seatbelt sign is on (which it was a lot). I guess that is reasonable, however, it is the first time I have encountered that on the place. Instead they directed to passengers to come up to the back of the plane to get a hot beverage when the seatbelt sign was off. I did a few times - 1st time they said they were out of cups and to stop by later. But 2nd time had the cups. Did these cups get magically delivered midair or perhaps maybe they just needed to bring cups from the storage on the place and could have given me an option to wait while they retrieve them. 2nd time when I stopped by to try to get a hot beverage, a lady with black hair just gave me an empty cup. The whole experience with this flight was confusing - some attendants seemed not to understand fully what passengers were asking."

Minusy: "All the flight attendants seemed a bit frazzled; I felt guilty for asking for wine with lunch, and you had to either use your own device or pay $10 to access the in-flight entertainment. Even then, I could only watch TV shows on my laptop --you need an app to see movies. Very strange and felt like being in a domestic flight."

Minusy: "Nine hour flight from Warsaw to Toronto, 7 hours of on and off ear-piercing screaming two year old child. Even though it was a daytime flight, most passengers wanted to sleep due to early morning wake up and previous connections. Even for somebody who wished to stay awake, there was nothing pleasurable about this situation. The airlines are going to have to figure out how to deal with this ever-increasing problem on long-distance flights, like a closed door quiet space for the parent and child. It was like being trapped in a torture chamber. If an adult had created that much commotion and misery on a flight, they would have been forcefully subdued and probably arrested. A few minutes of a crying baby can be excused, but this was non-stop disturbance by an unruly child and complacent parent(s)."

This should be a free service with the amount of fare I paid for the trip. 2. Also on my way to Rome, flying air canada, too, my husband and i fell asleep and missed our meals. When I asked the crew for my meals they said "it's unsafe to give it to me anymore." But that's what refrigerators are for - to store food safely for passengers. I just don't buy their reasoning. It's just an excuse not to serve passengers. Needless to say my husband and I went hungry until they served breakfast. 3. From LA to Toronto & Montreal back to LA, was a 4-6 hr flight where they don't feed you or give you blankets. When I asked why blankets are not available, the crew said, "because that's all what we'll be doing is handing out blanket." The crew should realize that providing comfort for their passengers is a huge part of their service they should provide. This was my first time flying with air canada and I was very disappointed. Air Canada will definitely not be on my top airlines to fly next time."
