I like that they respect that it is a night flight and serve the meal quickly so it can be dark for the whole flight and you can sleep as much as you can. I like how efficient the layover is in Doha - only 40mins!"
Minusy: "I don't like when they don't ask the person in front to move their chair up for the meal and the passengers have to ask each other. I don't like that they can't tell you the gate of your connecting flight and how long it will take to get you there - including if you will need to take a bus and the train. I think this could reduce a lot of anxiety. If they could do this, it would also be helpful to let people who have a connecting flight that is boarding in the next 30 mins off the plane first. This would save pushing and shoving in the aisles... and would also reduce anxiety about booking a flight with such a short layover."

Even though we called emirates customer care to afd oyr name in assistance when we booked the ticket but at airport they said we cannot privide any assistance . Moreover one of our family member had wheel chair assistance they never provided wheel chair at Dubai airport reason being they said they have shortage of wheel chairs. Such a bad experience we had !! I will never recommend anyone to travel with Emirates."

Minusy: "Emirates has applied EasyJet seat ramming techniques to its A380 business Class product. As a result even the spacious upper deck of an A380 feels cramped. The seat width in business Class is the same as economy so lying on your side to sleep is an impossibility for all but the diminutive or children. It’s hard to justify 4-5 times the economy fare to sit in such cramped ‘pile em high, sell em cheap’ seats. Breakfast served just before landing at LGW was honestly the most revolting meal I’ve ever been served onboard an aircraft, and I’ve flown Monarch. Less scrambled egg than puréed egg slops with gristly undercooked chicken sausages. Ryanair would blush at serving up such lousy fare. Emirates are paring back the ‘overheads’ in business Class and its starting to show. Cheapening the product (in every sense) might work for some but if I’m going to stump up thousands I think I’ll choose an airline that treats me less like self loading cargo in future."

We called Kayak, they have Zero customer service. We called Emirates, they blamed it on Kayak. They said that they should have advise us to book the Hotel at least 24 hours before departure. We ended up paying for our Hotel and meals and it should have been coveted by the Airline. Randa"

The footrest was not long enough and the feet were dangling in the air. The blanket and bedding was provided almost 3 hours after take-off Worst of all was baggage handling. Our luggage was severely damaged. The handle to the suitcases was torn off. In addition the bags and the contents were wet when we received them in Boston. IT had been raining in Istanbul and it seems the bags were left out in the open. I've been trying to get Turkish to repair the torn-off handles but I'm constantly hitting a wall. I have filed a claim but the support staff sends extremely brief denials with no explanation."

Minusy: "I have been told at the airport that I had an unconfirmed flight and was told that I could not travel to Istanbul. I am still at my departure city, in Chicago. I bought my tickets just like anybody would, go on the website, pick the flights and pay. But someone did not do their job correctly and did not correctly confirm my flight. I paid for this incompetence by missing Christmas and a business meeting. Do not think it will never happen to you, it is just a matter of time that this kind of bad service catches up to you. The system is so disconnected or careless that it can't even figure out I couldn't take the flight which it is is asking me a review for."

Minusy: "Every flight was 30+ minutes late. Crew members at the gate were consistently on their phones and delayed service substantially. Not only am I incredibly frustrated that I could not bring my laptop onboard to do work, but the fact I wasn't told until right at boarding and it took extensive time to reclaim it makes Turkish airlines on par with Ryan Air for inconveniencing its customers. At baggage claim, the crew loaded our baggage on the incorrect track, making it take even longer to receive it. Seats and leg room are sub par. As someone who is 6'3, when the person in front of me put their seat back, I was forced to take a metal bar on the back of their seat to my knees (no matter the position). I will be recommending to both family and friends that they should avoid this airline at all costs."

Minusy: "1) The foot rest blocks the ability to stretch your legs. A very uncomfortable 12 hour flight. Cramped. As a result, I will probably go with another European airline on my trans-Atlantic flights. 2) You need to offer snacks between meals on a 12 hour flight (back in the galley). Every other airline I have flown offers these on long haul flights in the galley - usually a small snack like chips or cookies. Your flight attendant told me that she would be serving the second meal in about 4 hours. Really, I was shocked that nothing was available in between meals on such a long flight."

Minusy: "They had assigned the same seat to me and somebody else, and the other person was already sitting in the seat when I got there. The only other available seat was in business class, and although the flight attendant later admitted I should have been given that business class seat, the other person successfully argued to take it. Staff are good though not as friendly as most Asian airlines."

Young children in the seats around mine received shrink wrapped comic books and stuffed animals. Headphones were provided to those who needed them. I definitely did not expect such good treatment on such short flights. I really got the impression that they are trying hard to keep the quality of their services as high as possible. I really recommend these guys."

I sat in the middle seat between two hours other men. It was a constant struggle arm space. After 7hours in the air I could not wait to get off the plane. If I didn't actually pay an extra €60 for the seat I may not feel bad but I feel like I might have been better off without paying for the "upgrade""

FlyDubai staff in general is less courteous and cooperative than emirates. 3. T2 is minimally maintained terminal with even basic amenities missing in some parts of terminal. 4. It also feels less secure."

Return was coad shared on cheap FlyDubai, bad seats, kept hitting my knees on the seat in front had to buy drinks and snacks. If I wanted a cheap airline I would have booked it. I will make sure when booking an Emirates flight if it is code shared with Flydubai I will look for another flight."

Minusy: "Every thing is bad and I'll give you the details : 1- the plane is really small and with a full smelly passengers. 2-the seats are really bad and you can literary remove the cushion. under you. 3-bad crowd management from the crew. 4- a half hour delay. 5-a bad takeoff and a really painful landing. 6-they tried to move me because of a family. 7- the AC does not work fully. 8- the food is extremely bad and hard to eat & chew. 9- the luggage took a long time but to be fair that's not their fault. And the list goes on and on and on. I highly recommend to take a different airline."

We waited on the tarmac shuttle nearly 15minutes because plane wasn't clean. Check-in line was ridiculously long and only one person working. Boarding zones we're ignored a crew member just yelled the name of the flight to signal boarding."

During this waiting period they issued coupons for 1 toast bread with cheese and 1 soft drink !! To redeem the coupon was very humiliating !!! They did even appologize !! On the plane the crew was very rude, after all this wait an old lady wanted to change her seat for more leg room, they forbid her and asked her to pay for it , when she got upset they threatened her to drop her off the flight in a very rude way.... i will never go with flydubai again."

Minusy: "While boarding a woman was in my window seat and her children were seated beside her. The host asked if i wouldnt mind letting the family sit together.I accepted the request where upon the host suggested a middle seat which i rejeceted and notified him that he just passed by 8 empty seats in business class and since the doors were closed I knew were available. He denied the request, had me stand awkwardly while he checked other peoples tickets for 3 minutes to find a single person who was not seated in their middle seat and was forced to move whereupon i recieved dirty looks for the remainder of the flight and right through baggage claim at our destination. I did Flydubai a favor and gave up my seat for the woman and her family. A hassle free otherwise empty business class seat would have been the appropriate response."

Minusy: "Absolutely nothing was provided. For a 5 hour flight everything cost, including the water ($2). I bought a terrible, nearly inedible, sandwich for $6. No entertainment. No food or drink unless you paid. And the exit row seats went empty the entire flight because, unlike most other airlines, they didn't fill them when no one paid the extra $100 to buy the increased leg room, they wouldn't let anyone move there. Noting pleasant about the experience. And it was esp. galling after flying 12 hours on Emirates, which was fantastic in every way!"
