"There was an enormous line at LAX trying to check in and check bags. Fortunately the staff were accommodating and allowed us to check our bags even after the deadline had passed -- but it was definitely an extremely stressful experience!"

It was not until I went to the security line when they found a mismatched name. I was asked to go through security THREE TIMES. And then at the gate, I was supposedly "randomly selected" for ANOTHER swab/swipe security check. The flight itself was uncomfortable. There are not enough bathrooms for the number of people seated on the flight. The entertainment was the only excellent and recommendable thing about this delta flight."

Minusy: "I booked KLM flights (Cork - Tampa return) but the planes were in fact Aer Lingus and Delta. So I have no idea what KLM is like. When I checked in at Cork the ground staff could only give me a boarding card for the first flight. For the second one she said I would have to go to the Delta counter in Amsterdam. It was difficult to find a counter there or staff as check-in was all by computer. The computer kept saying 'error' when I put in my code. I eventually was directed to a KLM desk (nicely hidden). I was told that my seat no longer existed. At this point the flight was ready to board. Thankfully the KLM ground staff were extremely helpful and reassuring and upgraded my ticket to economy comfort. On the way back, I could only get a boarding card for my first flight. The second two I had to collect at the boarding gate of the second flight."

Minusy: "Seeing as I’m still waiting for my flight, more than five hours later I am not inclined to rank it highly. This airport is an embarrassment and I will try my best to never fly Delta again. Weather is no excuse for this."

Minusy: "1. I already had a tight connection and let the flight attendant know that I was concerned due to the delay. She seemed very laissez faire and there was no information about the connections gate overhead or when I got off the plane. I think that if the flight is delayed, the airline should let passengers know where the close connection gate assignments are to save them time (my flight landed ten minutes after my connection was boarding). 2. The carry on luggage section was impossibly small so I had to gatecheck my bag and it took five minutes to get my bag back. Given the tight connection, this created additional anxiety."

Minusy: "Enhanced security procedures are onerous and caused the flight to be delayed 20+ minutes. Too many TSA staff at PLN doing too many things horribly inefficiently. Extra precautions (testing a Ziploc bag of cookies and several chocolate bars for explosive materials) did not make me feel safer or less inconvenienced by the theatrics of security."

Minusy: "There was an issue on the bus to take us to the teminal cuz a passenger took another's passenger's backpack which looked exactly the same but they made us wait on the bus til the mix up was settled. A lot of the passengers got frustrated cuz we had connecting flights and the workers by the plane didn't care including the bus driver. We finally went but we almost missed our flight .we had to literally run to the gate to make it."

Minusy: "Maybe US is ahead, but my experience with 2 terminals at Hanover and Frankfurt was that information exchange isn't good. Gate number was available at the last hour or so, which then got changed. Not just this flight. many flocks of people were running around to find their new gate... also as I mentioned climbing several stories of stairs with carry-on isn't fun! Not on this flight, but on my initial departure from US to FRA, monitors said go to Gate B. I got in line for Gate B as there was some security check, then we were told there was another B?!@ We had to go down and take the bus for that...written.. No where!"

No individual air control either. the last meal served was a ham & cheese sandwich which tasted odd..I couldn't eat it, other meals were fine."

The food smells good, usually, but it isn't that great. The chicken I had was fine, but the side dish (sweet potatoes) wasn't good. The salad had too much radicchio, the soft cheese was too rubbery to cut (spilled my water doing so), the cake wasn't up to German reputation. Also, one flight attendant, got her own suitcase down, at least 5 times, stretching directly above me, with her jacket in my face and never apologizing. My seat wouldn't recline, nor could other peoples. This is why I paid to choose my seat, so I could sleep, more easily but I sat upright the whole time."

Minusy: "Having to change my seat to accommodate a rude belligerent passenger, who had taken my seat, refused to move until spoken to by steward. She then made my flight a nightmare, until I let her sit in my aisle seat. Even then she was not satisfied, she abused me the whole flight damaged the screen so I could not use it until the steward fixed it. Demanded that I except any and all alcohol to give to her to drink. When I am tea total she then continued to abuse me. I asked the steward to move me he just shrugged his shoulders and said there was nowhere else. This is definitely my the worst flight I have experienced."

Plusy: "I bought the Airport tickets for my Russian friend. However customs would not allow her to board the plane unfortunately. That's not Kayaks fault. I would definitely book with Kayak again. Many thanks."

My poor rating was because the luggage handling was really poor. Lots of flights from Paris to Amsterdam (almost hourly), but my bag showed up 12 hours later. My wife's bag took 36 hours. And yes, we checked in together. There were lots of confusing messages"

Minusy: "Poor communication between delta, KLM and Air France meant that I couldn’t check in online and get a digital boarding pass. Furthermore I couldn’t use the check-in kiosks because my name was listed as Reidmr instead of Reid, which meant that my boarding pass did not match my passport. Overall this caused unnecessary delays that were compounded by the fact that I couldn’t use my TSA precheck. My main problem on the plane was that I had to struggle to get water served to me. It’s always so dry on planes and I would have liked to be able to get more than one tiny glass of water at a time. Also, would have loved a window at my window seat. Plus no WIFI!?"

Furthermore, the entertainment on board is great! Nice movies, nice food, friendly flight attendants, etc. They even offered me a second sandwich =)! I truly loved my experience with KLM."

Relaxing atmosphere, comfortable seating, great in-flight entertainment, although I have the go-go in-flight data/entertainment plan with t-mobile (highly recommended), the flight included a decent selection of movies, television programs, etc. The food far exceeded typical "airline quality," even for an international flight - and included a fabulous little snack box with locally sourced gourmet and specialty items such as chocolate from Belgium, fine cheeses from France, and crackers from England. Drinks = gratis, and crew was exceptionally attentive and went out of their way to make flight as pleasant as possible."

Minusy: "Normally, I am not picky regarding airline food. In SAS's economy or "Go" class, there is no choice of food. I can think of plenty of dishes that would be appealing to many people. Yet the meal that was served, beef stew, posed a problem as I don't eat red meet. Since many people also do not eat beef due to religious beliefs, I am appalled by SAS's decision to only serve this dish to its economy class passengers. As I ordered my ticket through Kayak, I didn't have the option to request a special diet, nor did I think to do so as airlines generally do not serve serve a beef dish as their one and only."

Minusy: "Space is always going to be something I don't like. Meanwhile most of the plane in 1st class sits wide open. Expand business class."

Minusy: "No food service whatsoever. Not even a bag of pretzels or peanuts. You have to pay for soft drinks. Really? A can of soda costs less than 50 cents. Bathrooms were not cleaned at all. Soap dispenser was empty for the entire duration of the flight. No entertainment."

Minusy: "Almost 1hr delayed. The least SAS could do was to give a meal or something to eat for free."

Minusy: "Booked SAS Go level which included 1 piece of luggage each. At check-in, we were told that is not the case despite SAS' own website saying that it is. I was charged another $320 and I am disgusted with their business practices which revolve around, deceit, lies andl I would even say fraud! There were many others complaining about the SAS Go luggage issue and then having to pay again. I could have gone with Ryan Air for a fraction of the cost."

Minusy: "We were unaware of the need to buy an infant ticket on international flights. When we checked in to our SAS flight in Newark, we were given a boarding pass for our infant without any heads up about the issue. We also got help with ordering bassinet from the gate agent, all without anything surfaced. It wasn't until we were boarding that we learned that we needed to buy a ticket and pay $400+ and nearly didn't make the flight. Can someone follow up now, as we need to make sure this issue has now been resolved for our return flight to SFO on Thursday July 6th"

Minusy: "I tried to change the return date, as my work schedule changed. And I was told it would cost me $1300. So I had to buy a whole new ticket and ended up not using my ticket bought on Kayak at all. Shame."

Plusy: "I had a row to myself because I was a 1st class ticket holder but they didn't actually have 1st class seating."

Minusy: "The flight was delayed well over an hour. I was unable to check in the night before. I was finally able to check in online the afternoon of the flight, but no seats were left, so had a boarding pass with no seat assignment. Got to the gate and they sent me and about 25 other folks with no seat assignment to wait for a "colleague" who finally appeared after almost everyone else had boarded. I did get a seat, but I was one of the last to board. They ran out of salmon dinners, so the stewardess plopped a chicken dish in front of me--didn't eat since I am vegetarian. The stewardess did give me a free mini bottle of wine, which is normally free on Lufthansa. I am just not all that impressed with SAS. I will try to avoid them in the future."

My seat was extremely u comfortable as the cusihion was misshapen. The male passengers seated behind us were drinking alcohol and became loud and garrulous, making the trip most uncomfortable and unpleasant."

Minusy: "I was sitting next to a special needs man and the crew was extremely unhelpful towards him. He should not have been flying alone and they did not help him at all. When you handed out the customs form he told the stewardess he needed help and she ignored him. When I pressed the call button for him it took someone 35minutes to come back and then she told him she would help him after dinner. I pressed a call button the second time to help him find something and again it took over 30 minutes for someone to come back to us. If there was a real emergency this delay would have been a huge problem. The stewardess was extremely rude in general."

Plusy: "There seemed to be a little more leg room on this flight compared to the flight from IAD to CPH on 6/26/16."
Minusy: "The movie choices weren't nearly as good as the flight from IAD to CPH on 6/26/16."

Minusy: "The "business" class was closer to economy. Aside from being in the front rows and boarding earlier, the seats and legroom were the same. On top of that they lost my luggage"

Plusy: "Old airplanes, no cellphone chargers, my monitor didn't work at all so they gave me an Iphad......"
Minusy: "Old airplanes, you have to pay for alcohol...."

Minusy: "The fight was cancelled due to the on-going Swedish pilot strike."

Minusy: "My wife requested a vegan menu as she has allergic to chicken and egg, and it was accepted a week before the flight. But a normal food was served to her, so we said to the crew to change the meal. She, the crew, said "we don't know the request, we don't have more vegan meal." She didn't apologize about that, additionally she requested to show a confirmation number with an arrogant attitude. Anyway we asked to bring a vegetarian meal, she brought it, and we asked her if it contains egg (sometimes seasoning contains egg). She said she would check and come back soon, but she never appeared. What a rude crew she was. What an unsophisticated system the flight company has. We were so disappointed."

Plusy: "It was clean and efficient. They got us in 15 minutes early. Coffee and tea were free."
Minusy: "Nothing really."

Plusy: "I arrived a little more than an hour ahead of the flight (traffic delay), but security lines were very short and there was still time to get to the gate well ahead of departure if I had been given the opportunity. However, there were no agents at the counter; and a nearby representative said they had left two hours before flight."
Minusy: "When I called SAS before the flight departed, I was offered the option to rebook for an extra $1,300. Since I wanted to think about my options, I was told I could decide later that evening and still do that. When I tried to call a few hours later, their offices were closed (8 pm)and by the next day my return flight had also been cancelled. This seems to me like a budget airline these days."

Plusy: "I like the crew and their service, the food was amazing speacially the vanilla cheese cake desert was on point, loved it. I loved the “my flight “interaction on the screen and the different view of the plane, cockpit view, left, right etc.. amazing feature."

Minusy: "I’m not sure that short-hop flights should serve solid food. The quality invariably disappoints. Otherwise, all is good with this flight."

Minusy: "CDG airport in Paris is a very inefficient and by far the slowest airport. I recommend other passengers to get to the airport at least 4 hours before their departure."

Plusy: "The crew was nice and the seat comfortable."
Minusy: "Never got the pre-ordered wheelchair in Paris and only after long negotiations at JFK. Also, Delta lost my checked bag between JFK and DCA."
